Milcery/Alcreamie Breeding and Egg Laying

(Remake of old post because I got some things wrong. There is an NSFW warning, but nothing too detailed)

As shown in my Alcreamie Facts post, the biology of Alcreamie can be pretty weird. For one, they're a non-mammalian pokemon that can produce milk, and the only other non mammalian pokemon that can do that are members if the Pidove line. This post is going to specifically explain the breeding aspect if it.

Asexual Breeding

Asexual breeding is one of the most common ways Alcreamie breed, but they will sometimes breed with Alcreamie that they live with (explained in the sexual breeding part).

A thing that separates apart how Alcreamie breed is different from most mon that breed asexually (and it's also a bit gross). Alcreamie are able to create their own sperm-like substancd, despite the fact that they're all biologically female. I'm saying "sperm-like substance" because it isn't actually sperm if you think about it. The Alcreamie will form cream inside themselves and using some infinity energy that will then hit their zygote and then a Milcery egg is formed.

Because the Milcery doesn't have a father, they come out looking like a direct clone of their mother when they were a milcery, and then they'll evolve to look like a direct clone of their mother feature wise. Obviously, they might have a different coloring based on the method of evolution.

Sexual Breeding

Alcreamie are pokemon in the Amorphus and Fairy egg group, meaning they're only able to breed with other pokemon in that egg group. However, Alcreamie can be rather picky with their partners, and they prefer to mate with other Alcreamie. They aren't monogamous though, and some Alcreamie groups you see might just be a polycule.

If Alcreamie breeds with a male pokemon, the alcreamie is going to be the one to lay the egg. It's the same if an Alcreamie breeds with another alcreamie: the one who had the speem implanted in them lays the egg.

Like stated before, Alcreamie can breed with other species of Pokemon as long as they're in the same egg group. But if the alcreamie isn't the one who wants to lay the egg, they can only have kids with other female pokemon. The pokemon will always come out the species of the one who laid the egg, but they will have traits of Milcery when hatched. Example: this litwick named Cakewax.

Hatterene Facts

-The genus name for the Hatterene line is "Fascinus petasus" which roughly translates to "Enchanting hat"

-Hatterene is closely related to the Gardevoir and Gallade line; both species can detect human emotions, and they both can sense the emotional state of others. The reason that Gardevoir and Hatterene respond so differently to emotions (with Gardevoir appreciating them and Hatterene avoiding them) was because they shared a common ancestor that had to branch out due to changing habitats. The Gardevoir line grew closer to humans and feeding off of emotions, while the Hatterene line evolved away from humans and used their emotion sensing to detect danger

-Hatterene will make “brews” of berry juice by making bowls out of tree branches and leaves, putting water in the bowls, and mashing berries into them, while stirring it with their tentacle. Because of this, many trainers often give their Hatterenes yogurt as a replacement for this

-In ancient Galar, people who would own Hatterene would be suspected of being witches. A lot of Hatterene trainers fled to Unova to avoid persecution, but they were killed their; along with their Hatterenes 

-Hatterene will often have groups of young Impidimp working for them. They punish them by hitting them with their tentacle

-While easy to spot, a lot of people still don't notice. Hatterne's body is actually very small, and it's so tall because of its strong hair keeping it up

-There's a myth of Hatterene who was stuck in a tower, and many prince Pokemon would travel to save her. But they would soon find out that she wasn't stuck, and spread that myth herself so that she could lure in her prey easier (one of my fav Hatterene myths tbh)

-In a lot of myths, Hatterene's hair is the thing that gives it its psychic energy. The old practice of burning one's hair after cutting it came from the belief that a Hatterene would steal it for its magic

-The idea for witch hats came from Hatterene. Another fun thing though is that there's actually super cool history on witch hats, and I'm trying my best not to info dump here. I'll link a video explaining Hatterene and witch hats at the end of the post!

-There's a regional varriant of Hatterene who lives in a sunnier climate and has 4c hair instead of silky hair

-Some Hatterene can be trained as service pokemon to help people with sensory issues

Dex Entry #110*: Galarian Weezing

This odd form of Weezing seems to have developed during Galar's Industrial Revolution, a time of unprecedented air pollution. Somehow Weezing in Galar went from being part of the pollution to being the solution, developing a shape similar to the very smoke stacks putting out the noxious fumes (and also the top hats of the business moguls who owned the factories).
