Located in the historic centre of #Shenyang, an expansive metropolis in northeastern China, LOVIVO Gallery stands out against the age-old environs thanks to its futuristic, high tech-inflected interior design. Commissioned by a technology company to design a gallery space and employee lounge within their office building, Shenyang-based architecture practice BAICAI Design have drawn inspiration from the paradigm shifting potential that high-tech companies promise to create a series of spaces that defy expectations. DRUNK BEATZ 4 LYF

As the title states, take a minute before your mind is blown as you enter our MAI super exclusive look into Musicians Moritz and Fabian Drunk’s “Drunk Beatz Gallery”. A virtual art gallery that meets the video game world, in which you can listen to beats and percussively play along, whilst using your cursor keys to move around and look at some art-installations.

If that all sounds a little bit, say, whaaaat?!? That’s because it is. This is a pioneering concept. The technology of integrating WebGL Unity-based games directly into the browser via WebGL is relatively new. The gallery has been programmed by German 3D artist Julian Oberbaum and the gallery itself is hosted off www.drunkbeatz.com. A place where you can listen to and buy Hip Hop/R'n'B/Future Bass-beats. The first exhibition features three beats which you can lease/buy on www.drunkbeatz.com website, as well as three simple installations which should reflect the vibes of the beat that play within it. I.e. A filled refrigerator, a statue with a halo and an installation for the social media experiment "Place" by Reddit.

Based on this example, they also integrated a painting tool where all visitors can create a picture together as a kind of digital graffiti. The result of which they say is “we want to feature in a future a collaborative exhibition.” They upload one new Beat every month to Youtube and Facebook. And right now you can also get two free beats on the website by contacting them directly.
