i'm kicking off a new playthrough of the whimsy legacy expanded by @lysiablr , starting at gen 3 just to spice things up!

premise
Sometimes life brings you a little bundle of joy in the shape of an accident. As soon as you're of age - after whirlwind teenage years of partying, skipping classes, and turning in homework late - you become a mixologist at the local bar.  You are a clumsy Sim who fears the sound of commitment, but loves to have a good time. You enjoy dating new and exciting Sims, but you never, ever commit to anything too serious.  You love your job, and you love that you don’t have to show up for anyone. Period. If you don’t have to show up for anyone, then you can’t disappoint them, right? One morning, after a rough night of partying and a whole lot of bubble blowing and juice, you wake up feeling... off. There's something that just isn't right, and you just can't shake it. You’re tired, you’re feeling ill, and food sounds absolutely revolting.  ... It can't be. But it is. One pregnancy test later, and sure enough, the lines clearly fade into view. You're about to be a parent. After the initial wave of fear, you regain your senses, heart filling with warmth at the idea of no longer being alone. While having children was hardly the first thing on your mind, you can’t say you'd totally ruled out having a few later in life. Turns out later is right now.  But... who is the parent? All at once, you recall the night before, and realize that there are three different possibilities. The catch is, you won’t know the answer for sure until the baby is here. Is that too late? Will you confront your partner when you find out, jump in with them and co-parent, lie and tell a different partner the child is theirs, or will you go it alone?

Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight) Have your Sim romance at least three different Sims at once, enough to be able to woohoo / try for baby with each. Be careful of jealousy! No getting married or entering into any kind of committed relationships.
Voulez-Vous During the first half of your young adulthood, complete the 'try for baby' interaction with three different Sims in one night. Do not test for pregnancy at all; wait until the next couple of days and see if your Sim experiences any symptoms of pregnancy. If not, do it all over again. If your Sim cannot get pregnant, first check all three partners for pregnancy; if none are pregnant, try again OR randomly select one of your partners to have a science baby with three to seven days after the one-night stand, as if a baby was dropped off at their doorstep by an unknown partner.
When All is Said and Done Choose whether to parent the child alone, confront the correct partner, or approach a different partner to claim that the child was theirs. In the event you choose to confront or approach a partner (regardless of whether they are the correct one), start an argument with them and then play out the scenario from there.

**How do I turn my Sim into a PlantSim?
Have your Sim reach level 10 of the gardening skill. With level 10 unlocked, you can buy rare seed packets using the computer, or in Build Mode.
Each rare seed packet contains one magic bean. To plant this, buy the Magic PlantSim Stump in Build Mode.
When you have six magic beans, your Sim can plant them in the Magic PlantSim Stump.
After watering, the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree will grow from the Stump and your Sim can travel through the portal.
When your Sim returns with the Forbidden Fruit of the PlantSim (they don’t always return with this, it may take multiple tries) they can eat it and turn into a PlantSim.

[Episode One] First Impressions.
Our Bachelor enjoys a starting course of traditional Komorebian teas and snacks with the lucky sims of House One!
below the cut we have some more details abt the gameplay part of this wonderful beginning to our "first impressions" group dates! canonically, this happened before the house two introductions: dan does not have the social energy to meet 22 new sims back-to-back! but curiously... it seems like our bachelor already has an idea of who he'd like to give the first of our three "impressions" roses to. i wonder who it could be? 👀

oh man, okay. this house has a solid 35+ friendship rating both ways between each and every contestant! i don't think a single one of them dislike anybody - they had a great time drinking tea and getting buzzed off of the drinks dodo made for them, and i barely saw any negative socials pop up!
okay so maxwell is a literal angel and would not stop doling out fabrication tips to everyone in the room! he and josiah have become fast friends and spend a lot of time socializing with one another! (though they do tend to ignore dan to do it hehehe)
they all played musical chairs throughout the date but josiah ended up next to dan the most! he constantly prompted him with "deep conversations" and kinda hogged him to himself for a good hour! good tactics, josiah ;)
fabian surprised me by having the "fear of crowded places" moodlet pop up in the middle of the ceremony. dan autonomously "discussed his tense mood" with him and it prompted him to make uncomfortable jokes until he lost his fear :')
dodo would not stop going outside to do push-ups alone dkfhf
ezra was a light of life and definitely directed the conversation all night! he made joke after joke, and had the entire group laughing and blooming with positive ++ friendship!
daithi would not stop falling asleep in his chair mid-conversation, even when he was having a good time! (but he also napped in the chair right across from dan, and managed to stay there the whole night ;)) he kept talking to dan about fizzing techniques and eventually managed to get him on his own outside for abt thirty minutes of solo conversation!
i love this little group of sims so much, thank you all for sending your babies to me!! i haven't forgotten about house three: i'm just... being a menace and editing the timeline of the story after i thought of a better method of pacing~

this article is actually reviewing the american version rather than the european one - only because persona 3 vanilla hadn't yet come out in europe ! the eu recieved vanilla on february 29th, 2008, half a year after america. often forgotten is that persona 3 was europe's first persona game (but not first SMT, beaten by nocturne in 2005), having missed revelations and eternal punishment entirely. the review compares the gameplay of p3 to canis canem edit (bully, for all you ntscheads), and implies the reviewer opted for the kendo team in their playthrough ^_^

Suicide is painless?
Anyone who's ever complained that there aren't enough hours in the day will be pleased with Persona 3's premise. Soon after enrolling your character at the local Japanese high school you're accepted into a covert society and let in on an enormous secret: there are, in fact, 25 hours to a day. The extra 'dark hour', as it's known, occurs every night at midnight. The vast majority of the populace is unaware of its existence as, for its duration, they are rendered unconscious and sealed in coffins, oblivious to the shadow creatures that emerge outside and roam the world looking for prey. A few humans remain unaffected by the phenomenon and, as one of them, it's in the sparse company of these cognoscenti that your character finds himself after dark.
The group, called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, is responsible for holding back the shadow creatures' advance while trying to uncover the secrets of their origin, a huge multi-storey ephemeral tower named Tartarus, which emerges each night in the school grounds. Tartarus takes the form of an upwardly built dungeon whose Rogue-like floorplans change every visit. Your overarching mission is to scale the tower bit by bit (don't panic: a warp opens up every five floors) while leveling up and discovering new Personas: creatures that can be summoned to aid you in battle.
While this is a little traditional, the dark hour is just one element to an unorthodox game whose scenario manages to twist it out of the firm grasp of its JRPG roots. In the main this is achieved by the dark hour's counterpoint: daytime, during which you participate in the lessons, clubs and societies of a Japanese school. Here, in a similar way to Canis Canem Edit, you're tasked with daily studying, exam taking and after-school clubs and sports, all minigame-style pursuits that are used as a means to build and enhance your character's abilities. Three core stats (academics, charm and courage) must be raised by taking part in a wide range of different activities from enrolling in the school's kendo team to visiting the karaoke bar in the local mall of an evening. Raising these statistics while building and fostering relationships in school is crucial to creating stronger Personas to make your character more powerful on the nightly battlefield. By linking the game directly to 2009's school term calendar and breaking every day into seven distinct stages (from early morning through lunchtime to late at night), you quickly settle into the comfortable rhythm of a education system, which provides an excellent framework for the disparate mechanics to slot into.
The game's aesthetics are unusual for the genre. Low-poly environments, simple character models and drab lighting are the uninspiring visual building blocks. However, thanks to some ingenious use of beautiful anime artwork the game fizzes with life as character portraits zoom into shot to personify the dialogue while slick and design-conscious menus add some contemporary style.
As with any game that's based on repetitive tasks set in unchanging environments, its rhythm in time becomes a little monotonous. However, the frequent boss battles (introduced every few levels of Tartarus) and surprisingly compelling relationships you foster daily inspire perseverance. Games with distinctive souls are rare things but Persona 3 succeeds in displaying a mesmerising personality that touches the many well-crafted aspects of its curious and singular approach.

Personas are ethereal creatures that are summoned from your unconscious mind to lend their abilities in battle. For this reason, the stronger your relationships with other students or groups the stronger your 'inner self' is and the more powerful your Personas will become. One of the most enduring images from the game comes from the way in which characters summon a Persona: by putting a gun (known in the game as an 'evoker') to their temple before pulling the trigger. To players not closely familiar with anime culture it's a shocking image that's used repeatedly, and since the game's release has attracted keen debate in the US as to its suitability.
Fans furious at the lack of a Japanese audio option have already released on the internet a patched version known as an 'undub', with English subtitles but original voices.
In battles, you only gain direct control over your own character. Your teammates can be given general directions (such as to major on offensive moves or healing) but their specific actions are handled by the competent AI.
You aren't forced to visit Tartarus every night. If you'd rather you can meet up with a friend at the local mall, visit a club in town or spend the evening at your desk studying, all of which level up aspects of your personality.
Persona cards can be fused together with one another to create entirely new monsters, and much of the deeper level of play is concerned with maximising resources to uncover the most powerful Personas in the game.

You grow up to be quite the looker and charmer, not to mention talented, so your goal of making it big on the silver screen is finally within reach. You catch the eye of a famous big shot you end up having more than a fling with, resulting in an pregnancy. But as infatuated as you are with your baby daddy/momma, your eyes are always on the prize first and foremost. You’ve heard the name of the latest lottery winner and can’t get it out of your mind.
Rules:

Despite having been born with a silver spoon in your mouth and not needing to work a day in your life to survive, you don’t just want to lay around in your pajamas all day playing video games… not unless that could be an actual career, and luckily for you, it can be. Other nepobabies don’t have your drive, your quick fingers, your passion for gaming and social media. You want to prove the world that you’re more than your last name and vast inheritance, so you move into a so-called content house in San Myshuno and throw yourself completely into your career as a professional gamer and influencer. Unfortunately, your new lifestyle has proven to be more psychologically taxing than it has any right to be. The influencers you’re currently living and collaborating with do nothing but cause drama, and you’ve found yourself in deep waters when C-Fuel, the Cowplant based energy drink company that has been sponsoring you, comes under fire for poisoning consumers, roping you into a huge scandal and subsequent cancelation. As a result, your beer brewing hobby turns into a coping mechanism and you become addicted to alcohol to deal with the stress. When an unplanned pregnancy turns your life upside down, you finally decide it’s time to go to rehab.

Even as a teen, all you wanted to do was sneak out and party. You know your parents are disappointed in your party animal ways, considering they did everything in their power to give you a normal upbringing despite their unconventional lifestyle as influencers. They don’t want you to waste your potential, you’re a gifted kid after all, who effortlessly got straight As throughout school. So, they decide on your behalf that you put your hefty scholarship to good use and study to become a scientist. Little did they know college was the sure way to make you unleash the party beast within in its final form. You party harder than ever, doing drugs, hooking up, dancing the night away in the pale moonlight. You’re living like Jim Morrison, right until a happy accident comes your way: you and your dealer are expecting a child. After graduating, you decide it’s time to settle down and become an adult… well, sort of. You may have a stable job and your own apartment now, not to mention a kid, but maybe that doesn’t mean the party needs to stop. Will you eventually change your ways and go to rehab? That depends on how bad your addiction gets.

- Go to university and major in Physics.  - Become a drug addict.  - Have a child with a drug dealer.  - After graduating, join the Scientist career, move into an empty apartment in San Myshuno and furnish it using the SimRay to transform random items into furniture and decor. You need to get your hands on one of those plants, so you move to the mysterious town in the middle of nowhere and start your own congregation. Finding a small group of obedient followers was pretty easy, especially after tricking them into eating your special fruit. Soon enough, the entirety of Strangerville will be yours. Your only concern is that, after you die, no one will carry on with your legacy, so you and your favorite disciple decide to have an heir. Will your child eat the bizarre fruit and make you proud? Or will they leave the empire they were supposed to rule in the dust?
Rules:
- Form a cult using the create a club feature and add 6 members. One of the activities must be stealing.   - None of the members of the domestic unit are allowed to have jobs. You need money to survive, and you need to build a proper home, so you start playing music in bars and other public spaces hoping to get donations, and writing your own songs. Music has always been your passion and you’re naturally gifted at it; it’s only a matter of time before other people notice your talent and you start gaining fame and fans. Drunk on the love and attention you’re receiving, you get a little too close and personal with your newfound groupies. You never meant to have seven kids with them, but hey, it’s not your fault you’re so darn fertile, apparently. You might be a little emotionally stunted due to your upbringing, and perhaps committing to just one partner is not the life for you, but one thing is for sure: you will raise your seven children with all the love in the world in your tiny home by the ruins.

There’s an abandoned factory in Moonwood Mill that becomes your gang’s operation center. Despite it never being one of your priorities, love comes knocking at your door in the form of a rich, posh sim whose parents are in the political career. Due to your bad reputation, you’re not allowed to be seen with them in public, until the two of you finally elope together and you realize that maybe you’re not the only reason why your partner’s parents were ashamed of them: they’re a werewolf! They’re an outcast, much like yourself. You two have a baby, and that’s when your partner starts insisting that you quit your gang and the criminal career for your child’s sake. You know they’re right, it’s bad for a young mind to see the things you’ve seen. Sadly, this is the only life you know, and if it’s not good enough for your family, then you’re just not good enough for them. It’s time to leave and start your life over…

You build a little tree house with your own hands in that particular spot in town that mysteriously attracts all kinds of stray dogs and cats that you love to feed and play with, and some of them become your beloved fur babies. As a werewolf (or someone who aspires to be one), your dream has always been to honor your lycanthropic ancestry by joining one of the local packs and becoming the alpha. Despite the tension between the Moonwood Collective and the Wildfangs, you find your fated mate in the rival alpha. The two of you elope in secret and have a baby. Maybe this will mark a new era of peace and communion between the packs, but that depends on how willing your packmates are to cooperate.
Rules:
- Live with as few sims as you can, the rest of your domestic unit members must be pets. - Craft most of the items in your home using mainly the fabricator and the woodwork table. - Sell crafts and collectibles for a living. - Become an Apex werewolf.  - Become the alpha of one of the packs and marry the alpha of the opposite pack (remember that the first werewolf you successfully flirt with will become your fated mate). - Have a child. - Complete the Moonwood Relics collection.

If your werewolf community knew about you plan to betray them by becoming a part of the traitor class of spellcasters, they’d probably kick you out, but they’ll never get the chance to do that if you leave first. There’s a boarding school for teenage wizards in Glimmerbrook you’re interested in joining, so one night you sneak out and pay a visit to the principal, who is kind enough to transform you into a spellcaster and welcome you into the school. Your parents aren’t exactly thrilled with your decision, but they want you to be happy, so they support your choice.
Much to your dismay, your new housemates are not what you expected. They know about your lycanthropic origins and bully you relentlessly for them. One day, you’ve had enough and set part of the school on fire using magic right before moving out into a haunted abandoned house you'd discovered some time ago while exploring Glimmerbrook. There is an old flower arranging table in the garden and you decide to put your fascination with botany to the test by learning to make flower bouquets and selling them for a living.
One day, a particularly attractive sim catches your eye, and since your alchemy skills are on point, you don’t think twice before luring them in using potions. You never considered that their personality traits completely clash with yours. Do opposites attract, or is love not the kind of magic that should be messed with? Regardless, there’s already a baby on the way, and you’ve been alone for so long, running on stardust and sheer willpower. You’re better with your new darling. It’s strange, but it’s true.
Rules:
- If your heir is a werewolf, find the cure for lycanthropy. - Build or download a residential boarding school equipped with items from the Realm of Magic pack, especially cauldrons.  - Create a domestic unit consisting of 6 spellcaster teens with the Mean trait, a Virtuoso spellcaster with the Natural Mentor perk as the school principal, and your teenage heir.  - Become a spellcaster. - When the heir becomes a young adult, use the Inferniate spell to set the school on fire and move out of the domestic unit.  - Build or download an abandoned haunted house with a flower arranging table and move your heir there. - Become a Virtuoso and learn all the mischief spells. - Own a flower shop or street stall and sell flower arrangements for a living.  - Use the Potion of the Transcendent Charmer and the Potion of Alluring Aura to attract an Unflirty, Noncommittal, Hates Children partner.  - Have a child with that partner.

The way your parent’s flower arrangements decay over time makes you sad. Why can’t beauty last forever? Why are most living things destined to die? You’ve met plenty of ghosts in your time, and they aren’t exactly aspirational. However, there is a type of occult you could praise and enthuse about all day long: vampires! They’re cool, they’re powerful, and most importantly, they’re immortal. So, when the opportunity to drink the ancient blood of a vampire arises, you take it without hesitation. 
As overjoyed as you are with your transformation, you’re keenly aware that eternity will eventually get lonely. You want a family that will never leave your side in the mortal coil of existence. You love your job as a home decorator, you’re superb at it, and your clientele idolizes you, so why not preserve a few of your admirers for posterity by feeding them the sweet elixir cursing through your veins? 
Now that you’re forever young and beautiful (you’ve made sure to treat yourself to a tweak or two under the knife), have seen the world, have done it all, and had your cake, your life couldn’t be more perfect. Yet, you still feel lonely. You start seeing someone you’re convinced is your soulmate in every aspect except two: their taste in décor is awful, and what’s worse, they don’t fancy immortality. In fact, they’re afraid of most vampires. Even though it breaks your heart, you have no choice but to respect their wishes and love them util they’re dead and got nothing but their aching soul.

- If your heir is a spellcaster, ask for the Rite of Dissolution. - Become a vampire and unlock the vampire creation perk. - Marry a mortal with opposite tastes in decor. You’re not allowed to turn them into a vampire.  - Complete the Vampire Family aspiration by turning your clients.  - Get plastic surgery by altering your sim’s features in CAS using the cas.fulleditmode cheat every time they get a promotion. Their dark form must remain unaltered. - Move into Vlad’s castle and redecorate it in a completely different style. - When your beloved dies, re-marry their ghost.

I've been mulling over the thought of a new legacy style challenge to do now that For Rent has released (in addition to my premades gameplay). So I jotted down a few notes and before I knew it, a legacy was born.
I wanted something with a bit of randomness in it and so this wheel when spun, will decide which generation will be played in which order.
Spin once before creating your founder, then spin again when your legacy heirs are pregnant with their firstborns or deciding to start a family. You may wish to use the generation colours as name inspiration or names inspired by the generation theme. Reroll any previously played generations, or copy and edit the wheel to remove them as you progress.
Only one mandatory trait per generation, the others can be randomised or chosen. But all children of that generation must have the mandatory trait, not just the heir. I mean, you never know when you might lose an heir, right?
Your founder sim may start with the full 20,000 simoleons and buy or rent their first home. Outside of the mandatory trait and allowed aspirations for the rolled generation, they can be entirely of your own creation. The legacy family are not confined to one lot, they may move to any neighbourhood that makes sense for the story you are playing. You can keep other family members on the lot, or not, as you wish. 
RED - Generation Love
Romantically minded since your teen years, you feel incomplete without another sim on your arm, whether that is your Mr/Ms Right or your Mr/Ms Right Now!

I've been with this in my mind for a loooong time so I've finally decided to voice this hcs of mine !! some characters aren't listed because I have no idea who they would play with but I'm welcome to hear your opinions <3
Heartslabyul
Riddle: mostly a mid-laner but time to time chooses to be support. mono mages and MAIN VEIGAR THERE IS NO DISCUSSIONS UPON THIS
Ace: goes mostly top and mid but sometimes go with jungle. he uses the MOST ANNOYING AND OVERY-USED CHAMPIONS. that absolutely annoying and self-centered yasuo that u wanted to kill not only in-game but irl too? yeah, it's him. he loves to play the most menace characters just to show off. but he is not even that good though. I mean, he sometimes can make really good gameplays, but if he ends up against someone who REALLY knows what is doing, ace is done for and would blame the team. very obvious but he is an average yasuo main
Deuce: main top and mono tank :)) probably main sion but plays with malphite, maokai and dr mundo. sometimes likes to play with alistar too
Cater: plays with the most aesthetic characters! I hc that he is main gwen (just like me ♡) but loves to play with characters such as ahri and xayah
Trey: doesn't know what he is fucking doing so mostly goes as sup because he thinks they are the easiest to learn (usually duo with cater). BUT I hc that he enjoys play as nunu and willump because he thinks they are adorable :) probably main soraka or sona
Savanaclaw
Leona: this mf can play every single lane perfectly. he keeps saying that he barely touched the game but give him any champion and he'll fucking SLAY. but I like to hc that he quite enjoys playing as le blanc and samira ;)
Ruggie: main twitch. main twitch. main twitch. he enjoys playing in every lane but most of the matches he always plays as twitch !! being invisible and poisoning others while shooting? he loved it !! but I think he would enjoy playing as wukong too
Octavinelle
Floyd: doesn't have a main lane because it depends entirely on his mood. sometimes he would play normally but sometimes if he is bored he would be like "ok why not go BARD TOP??????" loves to play with the most DEVIL characters such as shaco and sett but loves funny characters such as rakan and kled
Jade: plant characters. that's it. prooobably a main teemo because of the mushrooms but I hate thinking about this because.... teemo. one of the few people who play as ivern and actually good at it and is every adc worst nightmare as zyra.
Scarabia
Jamil: Main mid-laner. tried cassiopeia because of the snake jokes and ended up maining her. REALLY good playing as irelia so I'm really sorry for every single player that is against him. I like to think that he is good playing as akali too.
Kalim: he enjoys every lane but is terrible at most of it. probably main fizz because he thinks the gameplay is funny. insisted in playing duo with jamil but he is the WORST sup. thought annie was really cute and sometimes plays as her. an average neeko player. plays aram
Pomefiore
Vil: doesn't play much but loves to play as the bad girls hotties characters. a nightmare as morgana and even worse as evelynn. tried elise once but didn't enjoy the gameplay. sometimes play as xayah or any adc because rook wants to be his duo.
Rook: main sup but will go jungle and play well with absolutely any jungle character. main rakan or lux because wants vil to be his xayah or jhin. but can play with any sup pretty much. he is worse than satan himself when playing as lulu. secretly considered to be shaco main. loves to play with champions that makes people suffer.
Epel: plays with any buff, strong-looking character. really. if looks strong he wil try it, no matter how hard the gameplay is. but loves playing as aatrox because of the might :) although I like to think that he is really good when playing as heirmerdinger. considered to be main poppy.
Ignihyde
Idia: he is the WORST type of lol player. he is the definition of complete nerd incel loser. knows every single possible build, uses meta and is the type to mock other people runes if they aren't what is considered "ideal". for a long time was mono seraphine because reminded him of his favorite group but he can play every single champion and knows everything about them. even the lore. I'm scared of him.
Ortho: main baby characters. without intention he mains the PUREST characters. was main braum for a long time and loves to play as kogmaw or gnar 🥺 just like his brother knows everything, but only because he is an android 💀 loves to play duo with his big brother and is an absolute menace as lillia
Diasomnia
Lilia: a nerd loser just like idia, but he is too old for this shit so he is far from being a toxic lol player. loves to play with the most "??? omg this dude still exist" champions and SLAYS. was main bard for a long time because he loved the gameplay. I feel sorry for every single enemy team that ended up against Lilia when he was playing as jax. I hc that he was also a main zoe.
Sebek: I'm just putting him here because I'd love to think that he would be main renekton because well, croc.
