"Fuck!" you were woken by the loud yelling coming from your girlfriend.

Groaning, you rubbed your eyes and propped yourself up on your elbows to look at her from across the room.

"Oh no, baby. I'm so sorry for waking you," she paused her game, walking over to you before pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

"It's okay," you smiled up at her as she hovered over you, guilt present in her expression.

She crawled into bed next to you, "I'll stay with you to make it up to you."

You giggled, "don't be ridiculous, Katie. Go back to your game."

"No can do; I am going to snuggle you till you fall asleep," she insisted.

"Well, we could compromise. You can play your game, and I'll sit on your lap and sleep," you proposed the idea.

Kate's eyes lit up, "okay," she swiftly scooped you up in her arms, carrying you over to her gaming chair. She sat down, allowing you to wrap your legs around your waist as her arms snaked around you.

Your head lay in the crook of her neck as she held you tightly, occasionally pressing gentle kisses to the top of your head.

"I love you so much, sweet dreams, honey."

and that's when kate laswell reached out to him. the agent had seen his videos, and noticed the way that he was being eaten up by his fans. the potential of ghost was unmistakable, and she knew that the studio she represented could offer him something safer and more secure: something that he could actually make a pretty penny out of.

ghost—surprisingly humble under all the cockiness and the confidence—thought that the whole thing was a joke, until kate offered to fly him first class to L.A. to meet up with the studio.

his friends, of course, lost their shit and downright threatened him to dive into it or else. and for one very unspecified reason ghost is extremely happy that he did.
