[MMD Story] Iris Berserks in April Fools (Collab)

So before I share the story here, I did an April Fools joke in Pikapika-2000's Discord Server that my Dicsord account, even Youtube, Deviantart, Twitter, and Tumblr, got hacked by Iris. I uploaded the video last week of Iris taking over my channel (and my friends too), and has the courage to tell off others in Discord.

The Discord Story was with a couple of people:

VBAN allows streaming audio between different PCs on the same network. For instance, if both PCs have Voicemeeter installed and VBAN enabled, you'll be able to send audio such as music to another PC. This is great to use for setting up a dual PC stream. It is recommend to use static IP for each PC. That way, you do not have to worry about changing VBAN IP settings. With this setup, you'll be able to hear stream alerts, Music Player from other PCs such as a second streaming PC. Gaming PC Voicemeeter Banana

Software required

Voicemeeter Banana VB - Cable Quick Tip: For 7.1 Surround Sound, enable Windows Sonic for headphones. Set this for all audio devices to use 7.1 surround sound, for all inputs including audio output. During stream viewers will be able to tell the difference when using a 7.1 headphones.

How to setup Voicemeeter Banana

Setting Default Audio devices After installing Voicemeeter Banana and VB Cable, Navigate to Windows > Sound and set "VoiceMeeter Aux Input" as the default device and communication device. DO NOT set the Capture Card audio as the default audio. Sometimes when plugging in a capture card, sound settings can change. Make sure to check the default audio settings each time there are audio issues.

If you are using a Mic, and it is plugged into the gaming PC and not streaming PC. Make sure to set the Mic as default input device.

Setting up Voicemeeter Banana inputs and outputs Make sure inputs are set to correct input and output. A1 through B2 are used to control audio outputs. Using Voicemeeter Banana makes it easy to control inputs with a single click. PROS: Control Stream Audio All audio, including stream alerts, music player can be heard via gaming PC speakers. Audio is then pushed to capture card via HDMI cable to streaming PC. Streaming PC will then capture the audio from HDMI cable and include it during streaming. Mute, Unmute Discord audio for Stream and/or Gaming PC Audio. Same applies to Stream alerts and music player from other PCs. Mic volume control for stream and discord with noise reduction. See INPUT 1 settings for Microphone in screenshot below. Settings below block Discord audio from being heard during streaming. However it can be enabled by checking the A2 output for INPUT 2. A1 is unchecked for INPUT 1, this will disable hearing mic audio on gaming PC. Control Game-play audio. Feel free to play with the settings depending on your setup. Each setup can be different, make sure all software requirements have been installed and configured correctly. Defaul audio devices can cause issues if not set properly. Inputs and Outputs Before starting, ensure that HDMI audio has been set for the capture card in NVIDIA Control Panel. This will push the audio through HDMI connection to the capture card. If the capture card is not connected, the audio device will not show on in Voicemeeter Banana and Windows devices. Set Mic to INPUT 1. Deselect A1 to disable mic playback. Set CABLE Output (VB-Audio) to INPUT 2. Deselect A2 to disable Discord audio from being heard during streaming or recording. Voicemeeter AUX (Virtual Input) ensure that A1 through B2 are checked. Set A1 HARDWARE OUT to gaming headset or speakers. Capture card, Set A2 HARDWARE OUT to Capture card audio. VB - Cable, Set HARDWARE INPUT 3 to VB-Audio Point. Audio from this input will be used for VBAN incoming streams. Check A1 through B2 for hardware input 3.

Enabling and setting up VBAN

Since gaming PC in Dual PC Stream setup or even a three PC stream setup will be receiving incoming VBAN streams from other PCs. Enable VBAN on gaming PC. If connecting multiple Incoming streams. Ensure that audio is not duplicated while using VBAN. Duplicate sounds can be tricky to troubleshoot and find where to make changes is hard. Follow each steps as close as possible. Do not move on to other steps unless each Incoming stream has been tested for duplicate sounds. It is possible to split up the VBAN destination between different incoming streams. But you'll have to manually set different audio settings to get it to work properly. Especially when attempting to mute and unmute certain audio during streaming. Incoming streams Set Stream1 to 192.168.1.51 which is the IP address of the streaming PC. Audio from this input includes Alerts from OBS, any other audio such as music player. Set Stream2 to 192.168.1.44 to recieve VBAN audio from third PC, audio includes Chat Bot, music player. All audio can be heard from gaming PC speakers. Make sure to check "ON" for each Incoming Stream. Set Net quality to "Optimal" Destination should be set to "In #3" since we set HARDWARE INPUT 3 to VB-Audio Point in Voicemeeter Banana. All incoming VBAN streams will go to this destination if it is set. Make sure that Stream names and IPs match from each PC. VBAN screen includes the IP address for each machine at the very top.

Discord Audio settings

Having discord on gaming PC is great for teamwork. Settings can be tricky to setup correctly with Voicemeeter. Here is how to setup Discord with VB Cable. In dicsord navigate to Voice & Video settings. Set Input Device to Microphone input. Output Device needs to be set to CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) This will send discord audio to INPUT 2 in Voicemeeter Banana application.

Troubleshooting

Make sure VBAN is enabled on all PCs. Check Stream name on each PC VBAN settings. Both need to match, or audio will not be heard. Ensure that Net Quality is set to "Optimal" 6980 is the default port where audio is connected. Ports need to match in VBAN settings on each PC. Make sure that Streams are turned "ON" for each row that needs to be active. A1, A2, A3 settings can be confusing. If you are still not having audio, enable all A1 through B2 outputs and turn them off as needed. If you are getting echoed sounds, that means there are two inputs sending the same audio.
