Can some tumblr witches who live somewhere where yellow toadflax is good luck come and scour my garden for all the toadflax so I don't have to spend the rest of five years fighting this shit?

It's bad luck here because it outcompetes my cherry tomatillos and even though idk if they're edible (adjacent heavy landscaping) they are still extremely cute and I love them and I hate toadflax

A rose by any other name…

Just a sneak peak of an AU of mine. The neighbors are representations of flowers in Home’s garden!

Wally is a prize winning rose bush, pampered and beloved yet unable to actually physically connect with anyone due to his thorns. A pat on his petaly head from Home is the most he ever gets of genuine affection.

The other neighbors are in similar situations. Sally, for example, is a sunflower in a pot on Home’s windowsill- She turns towards the sunlight only for Home to turn her petals back inwards, entertaining and looking pretty even though it makes her wilt.

Eddie is a tulip, Frank is a Clarke's geranium, Howdy is an echeveria that’s had a few too many ‘leaves’ trimmed, Julie is a begonia, Barnaby is a big dogwood tree in the yard, and Poppy- Poppy is a bird that visits the bird feeder and cautiously greets the garden every day.

I cannot wait to show everyone else’s designs too, it’s so fun to make little flower people!

Blueberries “Nellie Kelly Sunshine Blue” variety (Vaccinyum x corymbusm x ashei x darrowi {I think}) are in flower. Original species come mainly North America, Europe, and Asia but are grown and cultivated world wide. They grow well enough in pots but you have to watch out they don’t dry out. Fruit is much more tangy than store bought.
