The lesson for this spring has been … persistent patience with perfected timing. Knowing the days we are heading into there is never going to be enough places to grow food. Start growing food everywhere is the new motto! Today we finished up three new garden boxes that could potentially feed more than enough people when science project number two for summer 2023 gets underway. Thank you @dabuck50 for your help! You may have read in the post from yesterday, the canning science project number one for 2023, that is already in full swing. Now with the new boxes right out side the door we have more options for local, home grown food to fill jars. As I figure out the plan, even though we are getting a late start, the explanation of science project number two will be coming soon. Some dreams are great, like our brussels becoming huge towers reminiscent of Jack and the Bean Stalk. But then others where I walk outside to a completely 🌞FRIED or half 🦝 eaten garden. If you're lucky enough to have your own backyard, build a mf garden in that b*tch. I asked my mom what she needed to make this happen, and she told me "dirt and seeds". Well, and wood obviously. I'm sure there are lots of ways to build your own backyard garden.

Home-grown food almost ALWAYS tastes better than the sh*t you buy at the store. Seriously. Had some home-grown raspberries once and they blew my mind. I imagine it's because no one is spraying god knows what over them, disinfectants or pest repellant idk.. Growing your own food is not only saving you money and trips to the grocery store, but it ensures you know exactly what you are putting in your bosy and you can feel good about it.
