I think season 3 spells the end for Melissa and Gary

Episode 1 synopsis mentions Melissa being asked a surprising question.

The whole cast have been teasing surprises, which could be a proposal, but honestly I think that’s too obvious

Viewers expect proposals to fill the tv formula of a wedding in a middle season - like phyllis and bob in the office. So that’s not really surprising. And upon reading that synopsis line everyone’s seemed to gone ‘proposal’.

Janelle said the writing is never corny or expected - exactly what a proposal would be. Plus to be in the series, especially in season premiere it’d happen in school. I mean an ‘I love you’ gesture in school is bad enough but a proposal? Melissa deserves better.

And if we look at Melissa, do you really think a schemmenti would agree to their wedding being filmed? It wouldn’t make it into the ‘documentary’ because half of her family’s faces would need blurring, so doesn’t really make sense as a plot point.

As for vending machine guy, I think if he was meant to last Quinta would put more effort into him. I don’t think she’d have one dimensional one interest gary be Melissa’s end game. Most of the few times he’s been mentioned it’s been negative (having to console him on halloween, talking during football games), again not endgame material. I mean his valentines gesture was shared with Barb, what could’ve been a sweet moment that made us root for them was about workwives instead.

Lisa has said there’s lots of tumultuous stuff, the writers again are writing to her breadth of skills so not just comedy. I think it spells goodbye gary. For Melissa’s character arc settling down doesn’t really make sense. As Lisa’s said she’s an angry slut, yet we haven’t seen her slut it up. She drops these lines implying bisexuality but hasn’t had the opportunity to date a woman. I think marrying her off so early would stunt her character development opportunities.

As for how it happens …

Perhaps a failed proposal.

Perhaps Joe turns up (my dream).

Perhaps barb gets in the way.

But Gary? He’s a goner.

i hc that roach and ghost lived through the events of MW2. (i love them too much for them to die) i also hc that roach remembers, constantly, at that.

Roach remembers the relief flooding through his veins, easing him as a drug would an addict, as he and Ghost approached the LZ, the small smile that found its way onto his lips despite the pain coursing through his body as he and Ghost approached Shepherd. He remembered the confusion as the man's words wrung through the air, remembered the searing pain in his abdomen as Shepherd’s bullet burrowed itself inside his body. Remembered the utter shock when he saw Ghost’s body collapse to the dirt shortly after the man yelled for him, remembered how fucking desperate he felt, reaching to grab Shepherd, to stop him, to do something, anything.

He remembered the harsh sting as gasoline was poured onto him, drenching his gear and seeping into his wounds like syrup. How distraught he was as he stared at Ghost lying next to him. How Ghost reached out his gloved hand to Roach, and how Roach followed suit, their gloved, burning hands, tangling together. Even as the fire licked at his body, scratching at his nerves as sandpaper would plaster, Ghost made it all okay. With a “friendship” forged by bloodied hands and the smell of gunpowder amidst the horrific time of war, tempered by the dulled fear of death, Ghost, Simon, had found a way to make it all okay.

Roach remembered thinking that, even if they were both to die right then and there, he would die holding on to Simon, the two cradling each other's hands in a burning embrace.

The two crawled out of that burning ditch, both bleeding out as they exhausted the flames dotting their burned gear with mud and grass dew. Held on to each other, shaking, hyperventilating, all ugly emotions kept hidden under their face covers exposed in the night’s air. Going cold, so fucking cold, in each other’s embrace, blanketed by the dark smoke leaking into the loving night sky. i had a end of the world scenario dream where a huge cube was closing all around us (except my group was outside of it? but basically when the cube shrunk into nothing we would all die everything would be gone and there was a massive timer counting down minutes)

not only did people manage to make advertisements about this that they put in places to make money before they die even if there was like 30 minutes left which was fucking hilarious and in a scenario like this you KNOW people would do this

but also the fact once we were all huddling together for our last moment (both ppl irl i know and my online friends were there) i was asking around "guys should i die as the benrey or spamton gmod model for the aliens to see when they find my body i also don't want them to misgender me idk i think i'll use the spamton model"

i also have to mention before the countdown began i was on top of the cube and it was watery and surreal and a huge bear emerged from the water and then began hunting the fish that began jumping all around and i was standing there perfectly still on top of the water alongside some other people and after that we got warped back down and the countdown began as we saw the giant cube in the sky

Ive been a fan of final space since it came out.And when it was cancelled a few years back I was devestated.It may have been doofy and crude at times but that's what I loved about it.It could strike a balance that made it feel real,And made me cry at several times.

But my highlight of the entire show was the music.It always made you feel sad and meaning.It was beautiful.The space backgrounds were beautiful.Not just black backgrounds they had color and mystique

The 10's haven't really caused that many casualties among these veteran musicians. Some settled in we-are-still-here phase. I mean, Bryan Adams continues to release many records, but they don't achieve the number of his 90's. Then again, he was also not really a part of them despite being highly successful then. He seemed to belong in spirit to a much different generation, which might the reason he followed the protocols of many older superstar peers in spite of his ge difference from them. He always felt like a 70's rocker that somehow travelled through time to the 80's. Thus, we should look at his current choices through that prism. For instance, I get why he did Tracks Of My Tears, an LP of covers, many at this stage do them. Still, should he do that as well, though?
