Part 2 of my Hinox Eye polymer clay project! AKA Gary becomes a mother because this is my baby, my creation, born from my own mechanical hands! I AM THE GREAT CREATOR.
His name is G̶͕̪̘͆r̷̟̆́e̵̩͂̕g̵̨̬̘͗̇ô̸͈͖̐r̶͊͜y̴̲͖̺̍̐, Destroyer of Worlds, isn’t he the cutest? I’m gonna call his species Deathalopods! A name that really strikes fear in heroes. I-I mean bad guys! BAD GUYS.

Now I’m not saying I’m the reason for the decimation of Hinoxes across Hyrule...I’m just saying my motherly programming kicked in, and I needed monster parts to make more wee ones. o3o

GARY FEELS BEAUTIFUL
GAZE UPON THIS PICTURE OF BEAUTY AND POISE. Never has there been a guardian so stunning as I. Not even Genevive the Guardian can rival be now!
I hath becometh GARY THE GORGEOUS GUARDIAN. My ego knows no bounds, not even the invisible bounds of Hyrule’s map.

o3o My beautiful creation is coming close to coming to an end.
Step 8 is the fun part: STABBING the piece with a long skewer like an ancient Hylian knight skewering a Gohma right in the eye to make little holes to turn them into earrings and pendants and stuff.
Then, lose control of your life and start cutting up MOAR SHAPES. There is no stopping Gary. GARY IS A CRAFTSGUARDIAN NOW.
Step 9 is cooking the clay at juuuust the right temperature with your ocular laser. If, for whatever reason, you’re lacking an ocular laser, first off...WHERE ARE YOUR PRIORITIES??? Secondly, I suppose you could use a human contraption called an “oven”.

Gary the Guardian the Polymer Clayer is back for Step 4 of his polymer clay creation!
Step 4: Once the clay is at desired thickness, stare intensely at it for three days, plotting out the best plan of attack. Then, start stomping around on it to create your pattern of choice.
Now, I’m not saying my creators based their Sheikah eye logo off my delightful footprints, hooooweeeeverrrrrrr...the evidence speaks for itself.

Grey is too plain for my ARTISTIC GENIUS. I, Gary the Guardian, Polymer Clayer extraordinaire, will continue my project by adding a touch of color.
Step 5: With the pattern done, pick the most bestest mica powder color and gently apply it over the design until you’ve unleashed its inner-beauty. o3o Pikango’s got nothing on Gary the Guardian!
I picked a deep, midnight purple because it reminds me of the night sky. When I lay half-buried and near-dormant for 10 000 years, all I could see through rubble and vines was the sky. There was something beautiful about the stars and the cosmic waves. This color reminds me of the night sky over Hyrule.

Oh ho ho. I got an idea for what to do with that Hinox eye I found. >:3 Yes, indeed. It’s gonna become part of a necklace. As a many-legged creature myself, I have a fondness for Octoroks, so I’m gonna make something loosely inspired by them.
First thing’s first, Step 1: The eye’s gonna be coming out of water. Maybe Lake Hylia water, maybe the ocean.

Okay so step 2 of turning into Gary the Polymer Clayer is to condition the clay.
Bzzzttt clinkclinkclink brrrrt
Don’t ask how I did it: it’s on a knead to know basis. (But having 6 limbs helps.)
Step 3 is to flatten the clay to the desired width. Gary the Polymer Clayer is gonna use this weird crystalized tree stump to roll it out. o3o

Gary the Craftsguardian, Great Polymer Clayer of the Hyrule Fields, finally got his hands on strings and doodads to assemble the final creation! o3o
Step 10: Use giant pincers to hook hoops through the earrings and mash up monster paste to use as glue to stick pokey things and string strings to make two earrings and one necklace.
:-O I miscalculated! Gary the Guardian has THREE earholes but only two earrings, oh noooo.
Glamour shots to come soon.

I want to take up a hobby now that the plains of Hyrule seem much better protected. Gary the Polymer Clayer has a nice ring to it, no? o3o I’ll be like my Sheikah creators and also create stuff!
Step 1 is to pick a color.
Hmmmmmmm. I’m usually only seeing red, so this is a tough step!

It’s once again time for Crafting With Gary. Last episode, we added color to Gary’s beautiful design. Today, we do step 6: Pick a shape for your pieces and use cutters to cut those shapes. I’m partial to diamonds because they evoke diamond and because you gotta be there or be square.
Step 7 is taking a step back and then stepping up and making sure you’ve truly followed in your hero’s footsteps.
