18 Asks! Thank you!! :}} 🎪
Tumblr media
@pink088
Tumblr media
Guuuuurl does it look like I missed the boops? XDD
(I DID miss the super boops and revenge boops tho. I was trashed on the couch and stuck on mobile all day so I wasn't able to send any back to anyone💔💔)
Tumblr media
Uhhhmm... oh jeez lemme try to remember-- I'm assuming you mean the order I got everyone in the game..?? Cuz other than the goofy little comics I've been drawing there isn't much of a story beyond that-
Uhhh so I started with Midori(Sprigatito) obviously, thennn... I think I caught Grim(Gastly).. then I caught Gloria(Ralts). Thenn..... arrhrhhgh I thiiiink I went looking for eevees, but I found Anastasia(Shiny Kricketot) in the process and kept her. Then I picked one of the eevees I caught at random and kept him. Then lastly I found a Mareep(Bonnie) by surprise and kept her.
My memory is very poor but I thiiink that's mostly accurate <XDD If I misunderstood your question don't be afraid to send another ask! 😅
Tumblr media
@pbjfox37147878
Sorry, I don't take requests.. But hey! You already got a solid concept going and some artistic talent, you can always make it yourself for free! :0
Tumblr media
Not really.. I've had a surprising number of uncomfortable experiences with the fandom recently so I've decided to take a step back from Octonauts for a while..
Tumblr media
@psype
:DD Thank you! I'm glad you like them! :}}
And yeah that's how I pictured her XDD its becuase I use her the most out of all my Pokémon-
Now she's not bossy and doesn't have a leader or "I'm better that you guys" complex, none of that! She's just very intelligent and usually very level headed and calm. I can imagine that she's gotten the team safely through a lot of complicated situations and her plans/advice have rarely led the group astray.
Plus since I use her so often, I like to think that she's one of the most powerful Pokémon on the team. If not the most powerful. So whenever the group was met with a great danger, Gloria was probably the one to rescue them <XD
So the whole group kind'a gravitates behind her and lets/wants her to take the lead most of the time. Especially when things get complicated or dangerous!
Tumblr media
@nerdyskullcap (User in ask)
I took a peek at their blog, but I couldn't find any original art of the Conductor after quite a while of scrolling through that tag.. I only found reblogs of other peoples Conductor comics.. <:(
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
XD That description of Gloria is very fitting! I use her the most out of all my Pokémon and she rarely loses! XDD
This was a cool read, and hey! Some of my Pokémon have some of those attacks! :000 Gloria has draining kiss and Bonnie has discharge! :D
Tumblr media
@cat7890
I'd like to think they've never fought before.. maybe some little bickering on a bad day, but never anything serious.
They have good communication and just generally get along really well and like a lot of the same things. So there's rarely conflict between them! :0
Tumblr media
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you like my artwork! :}}
As for your question.. I'm afraid I don't understand/cant explain it--
Lets say I wanna draw Mario. I imagine what the drawing might end up looking like in my head, what pose I'll draw him in and what colors I'll use.. And then I just.. draw it. It might not look exactly like what I pictured but its probably close enough.
If that doesn't answer your question, I'm afraid I either don't understand your question or this is just an art thing that I don't know how to explain. <:( Sorry, feel free to send another ask with more specifics if you have them!
Tumblr media
@sleep-deprived-fr3ak
If Bill ever became a lawyer? All hope is lost XDD
Tumblr media
@raven-bearden-the-interviewer42
I haven't really thought about the details of the crews travels and adventures.. but I'm sure that when Louis got cursed and became a crab monster? That was probably pretty memorable XD
Tumblr media
Probably this one honestly <XD I cant think of anything more cursed off the top of my head-
Tumblr media
@fawncr33k
I suppose that would be fine, but I wouldn't prefer it. As I've said many times,, just comments guys! Asks, reblogs, tags, how ever you type them. I just want comments.👍
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@neo-metalscottic
No problem! Getting asks are usually a pick me up :}}
As for the Dry Bones thing, that's what I meant by "not sure how it fits into the AU yet" 😅 Who'd they fight? Why did they fight? When did this happen? No idea. Its all just a neat concept with no structure yet :// And beyond the awkward living situation with the Dry Bones today, I haven't really thought about how the Koopa culture has been changed by the war. That's just way too much thinking and I'm way too sick to bother trying to figure it out atm- 💀💔 But maybe someday I'll think it through!
Now Luigi, I had this idea that he had a bizarre encounter with a 1-UP and was later bitten by a Goomba. Over the span of say... 5 days or so..? Luigi slowly got weaker and weaker until eventually he became bedridden and actually died- He came back to life moments after but it still completely shook Mario and Luigi's worlds for a sec there-
I had intended to draw a comic about this, and I made a sketch about it in the past.. but around the time I thought of this idea my Mario phase was kind'a passing over so I didn't feel like making it- <XDD
As for a potential sequel, I would like to see Wario, Waluigi and Toadsworth. Not sure why Toadsworth wasn't in the first movie- he absolutely should have been. That deep voiced purple..? council..? toad guy?? Totally should have been Toadsworth :/
And my request for the Wario bros is that they are taken seriously. 😅🤣
Tumblr media
@cherrycreamfairy
I'm doing okay so far today, thank you! :}
Tumblr media
@littlelightfish
I haven't really figured out the details about how Tuna and Louis lost their limbs- 😅
But I'm considering that Louis lost his arm (I assume you meant his arm-) in some kind of work related accident a long time ago. It must have been a fishing accident somehow..
As for Tuna, either some kind of natural disaster/accident or.. someone "removed" them... O-O
Tumblr media
I do not :/ I'm not even sure what homestuck is.. I thiiink its a webcomic-
Tumblr media
@nemo-draco
Oooo! :00 It looks cool! :DD
And thank you, I'm hoping I get over this soon too 😅

The Picnic Method
Tumblr media
Hey Trainers! I’m back with a promised update about “The Picnic Method” for shiny hunting in Paldea. For those of you interested in trying it out, let me warn you that the picnic method is very time consuming. It was something I thought I could bang out in one hour and so far that has just not been my experience. However, it does work! So buckle up and let’s learn the picnic method!
Tumblr media
First open your map and find out where your Pokémon outbreaks are. You’ll generally see a picture of a Pokémon with a flashing red symbol under them. I’ve found that there are usually about 3 on my map at any given time. Pick one: this will be the shiny you are hunting. For this hunt I picked Gastly because they are very obviously different from other Gastly when shiny and because my wife loves them, so I could surprise her with a new friend. ✨
Like in the picture above you will see a bunch of Pokémon swarming. Now move away from the swarm and knock out at least 60 Pokémon sequentially. It’s easiest to do this in Let’s Go mode where you send your Pokémon out ahead of you. Just watch their HP and typing because if they come back to you, you will have to start your count over.
Tumblr media
Once you’ve hit 60, walk back to the outbreak and observe the hoard of Pokémon. I strongly recommend looking up the Pokémon you are hunting for even if you’re familiar with their shiny form so that you have a fresh reference, especially if their shiny form is really subtle. Gastly is easy to spot - I knew to look for a dark purple body and light blue spectral energy. Once you have looked through the entirety of the Pokémon gathered, if you don’t see your shiny it’s time to picnic! As you can see here, I tried to picnic but it said I was too close to someone. Eerie… because no one else was around. 😱
Tumblr media
Once you have your picnic going all you need to do is pack up again and repeat the process. So once you leave your picnic you go look through the new Pokémon in the outbreak. If you see your shiny, SAVE and then go for it! If you don’t it’s time for another picnic! Note that you don’t need to do anything during the picnic except unpack and pack back up, but I do like to say hello to my Pokémon too.
Be vigilant and check any Pokémon that also might spawn around you. There is a small chance that one of these might be shiny instead of your target (more on that in another post).
Tumblr media
Again it’s important to note that in Paldea although Pokémon appear shiny in the Overworld they don’t actually sparkle until you enter battle, which is why it’s so important to know exactly what you’re looking for. Trainers, I couldn’t imagine trying to do this hunt with a Pokémon like Gengar! It would be so easy to miss! I found my target Pokémon in about two hours of continuously picnicking. I personally love Shiny Gastly! Such a pretty color combination.
Tumblr media
My wife loves premier balls and I was taking a little bit of a risk here to get her Gastly in one (remember that some Pokémon have moves that can KO themselves so the faster catch is the better catch) but luckily everything went without issue. Din, now grown up into a Drakloak, was eager to help.
Tumblr media
A successful picnic! Some trainers like to count the number of picnics it takes them. I don’t do that because I’d almost certainly lose count but let me say again that this method does take some time! Your odds of encountering a shiny without any other power ups and without completing the Pokedex are about 1/1028 and while those odds don’t sound great it’s actually about 75% better than normal odds, so it’s quite good! Just stay vigilant and you can be one of the first trainers to have shiny Pokémon on your team in Paldea. Stay shiny everyone and happy hunting!✨

Need, Blood, and Idol for Sotis!
Link to the OC asks here and welcome to today’s episode of ‘How tragic can Sotis’ life get?!’ starring a special guest, @gastly-tea’s Kyrell!
Need: Sotis spent his childhood desperate for the other gods to accept him, as they heavily disliked him due to his mother being the former Godslayer. It pushed him to do a lot of things to earn their approval. Suppressing a lot of his negative emotions, especially his anger, so he would be pleasant to be around; ignoring how they spoke about him poorly and pushing himself to be of assistance to his mother with the balance of life and death, even as a young teen, are the three main things he did.
Needless to say, this has had a lasting impact on Sotis - unless he is 100% comfortable around you, he defaults to masking as calm or cheery, as well as still having issues with needing those he perceives as an ‘authority’ over him to like him.
It took Sotis a long time to realise the other gods would most likely never change, something that was a very bittersweet moment. He was upset over the fact they would most likely never change, and that all his effort was for nothing, but it was also oddly freeing; he no longer felt the need to impress them anymore, their judgement held no weight to him - a much needed realisation, for sure.
Blood: It would take something very important for Sotis to consider sacrifice; despite their people-pleaser nature, their mothers have tried their best to raise them to know it is not wrong to prioritise yourself, a teaching they have mostly took to heart when it comes to their own survival. His mothers would not let them sacrifice anything for them, and they have no cause they are devoted to. However, there is one person whose wellbeing they prioritise at all costs; their close friend, Kyrell.
Sotis would be the first to admit they would never sacrifice their life for Kyrell - it simply doesn’t make sense. As a half Yveltal, their death involves killing everything around them, and then a recovery period to heal and revive - if they sacrificed themself, all they’ve managed to do is kill themself, Kyrell, and likely quite a few innocents too. However, they would very willingly sacrifice someone else’s life for Kyrell, despite their personal view of ‘all life is equal, no matter what.’
Other things are very much on the table for Sotis if it means Kyrell is alive and safe - losing their powers, or never being able to see him again, both of those are worth it as long as they know Kyrell is okay. They would even sacrifice what little reputation they have with the other gods - earning their approval is important to them, but Kyrell is so much more important to Sotis.
Idol: Sotis is very used to people looking down on him, having dealt with it for the majority of their life, from both other gods and mortals.
The gods dislike him due to his mother being the Godslayer, unreasonably assuming he is going to end up a lot like her. As a child, he was desperate to prove to them he was good and earn their acceptance and praise. As an adult, he has come to terms with the fact that they don’t like him, and doesn’t interact with them anymore - he does hold a mild grudge against them, but other than complaining to friends, he doesn’t act on it.
The mortals have the legend of the Red Decidueye, the one who brought their world to ruin by murdering the gods. The actions of the Red Decidueye, as well as the legend, have caused the majority of the remaining Pokémon to dislike Decidueye, with those with red leaves or feathers being judged the worst.
At best, they view red Decidueye negatively, waiting for them to harm others. At worst, they are scared or angry enough to attack and kill them. Sotis learned this the hard way; when he started exploring the world as a teenager, he did not know how prevalent the legend was, or how seriously mortals took it.
He makes sure to avoid mortals in his world now.

What is the best and or worst ghost experience Morty has had?
his best experience is growing up with the gastly in the tower. they treat him like family now, so you best stay on their good sides.
the worst, hands down, is his froslass. she's a powerhouse of a pokemon -- and she came very close to killing matsuba when he caught her. she was luring people to the very base of mt. silver, before any of the base camps and just past the last signs saying to turn back. when people would approach, thinking she was someone in danger, she would lose them in a blizzard and leave them there.
matsuba's sense for spirits is the only reason he didn't wander aimlessly off the side of mt. silver. it's the only time he's come close to the mountain and the only time he's ever come that close to one of his eventual pokemon killing him.

random steddie pokémon au thoughts:
starting with my strongest concept, I cannot shake the idea that Eddie's oldest and most beloved best friend pokémon is this giant-ass muk that he found when he was really young... like normally he would've been too young to have a pokémon, but the two become inseparable. initially it was just a tiny grimer, and Eddie still wasn't formally allowed to keep it for a while. but over the years it got to a point where it'd just hang around waiting for him whenever he wasn't there, and follow him wherever it could... trying to keep him from owning that thing was a losing battle. that said, Eddie becomes a really good trainer for this often stigmatized pokémon. he knows all sorts of stuff about how to care for it, like how Muk only smell bad if you feed them chemical waste, or inorganic solids such as metal or plastics. if you go by composting rules, the pokémon's whole chemical makeup becomes healthier.
Steve's first pokémon is a cuddly little eevee that his parents gave him, like a puppy to placate him. he was one of the first to officially be given a pokémon in his year, so he bragged about it to his peers a lot after he first got it, but then many of the other kids got flashier pokémon by waiting a little longer, so he decided to try and save up his allowances to buy a stone for it and evolve it into something cooler. however, before he even got a chance, it ended up evolving into an espeon on its own. Steve babies it like crazy at home, and you can kind of tell how spoiled it is based on how affectionate it'll be sometimes, but only to Steve.
idk about the rest of their parties, but here are some ideas:
- Steve would end up with a bonsly by accident (not sure of the circumstances that led to this) that eventually evolves into a sudowoodo with a really nervous disposition. it's actually super funny to watch Steve handle it because he's like... weirdly very patient, if a little exasperated with it.
- Steve accidentally injures a shroomish in his yard and has to nurse it back to health. it's prideful, it hates him, and this takes a lot of time and effort. eventually it's all healed and Steve's like "okay, fine, you're free to go" and it doesn't. he can't get rid of it. it keeps hating him for a while until it decides maybe he's not so bad (Steve undergoes character development to earn this). it still trends towards hating everyone except Steve though (many of Steve's pokémon are brats with weird attachment issues). when it eventually evolves into a breloom, it becomes the most adorable little asshole ever. bullies his sudowoodo, can't get away with doing that to his espeon but it would if it could. punches the crap out of everything, no regrets. problem child.
- Steve catches a gastly at some point, and it ends up being his best behaved pokémon. it's personality is actually more on the serious side, and it's generally really helpful, even just around the house. tends to kind of try and keep peace between the others, though it can get fed up if there's too much bullshit at once. evolves into a haunter at some point but has yet to become a gengar.
- Steve got a minccino for a girl he really liked once, but she dumped him later that same week and abandoned it with him. he was deeply horrified that anyone would do that, so it's his now. it really doesn't seem to mind that it was technically abandoned, it's actually probably the most friendly and outgoing pokémon he has.
- Steve keeps finding the same gligar rooting through his family's outdoor trash cans. at first he thinks that maybe if he can catch it, he can train it not to do that. he can't. but now it's really attached to him and smells like garbage half the time. little guy has no discipline, is easily Steve's worst pokémon, and keeps having weird health problems like frequent ear infections, or dental issues... but it's so adorably stupid that he can't stay mad.
- Eddie acquires a noibat as a later addition to his team... it's still a baby, and kind of clingy and shy. it struggles to keep up, but his other pokémon love the lil guy.
- Eddie has a wooper. it's loud and annoying and he absolutely loves that it just chatters away at him all the time. Eddie has no clue what it's saying. he's also pretty sure it's never gonna evolve because it's been so long... seriously, no clue what this little guy's plan is. incomprehensible. but at least it's happy?
- Eddie goes through a period where he steals during lean times to try and ease the financial burden on Wayne, and at one point he almost gets caught because of a sableye that was there for the same reason. without thinking, Eddie panics and just scoops the thing up and leaves with it. turns out, this thing is really sneaky and good at getting into places it shouldn't. the two are fast friends and an awful influence on each other, until Wayne catches wind of what they're doing and sets them both straight.
- Eddie catches a venipede randomly in the woods... he thinks it'll be good and strong but it's actually just kinda lazy. very chill. not really in any hurry to evolve, which seems to be a bit of a theme with Eddie's pokémon.
- a fully evolved banette finds Eddie and just starts following him. Eddie has no clue why, but when he takes it in, it just stays. he can't tell if that's creepy or not, but it'll sit on his lap and let him play with its weird floppy hands. it doesn't communicate much, but it gets along really well with his noibat.
final lineup...
Steve:
-espeon
-sudowoodo
-breloom
-haunter
-minccino
-gligar
Eddie:
-muk
-noibat
-wooper
-sableye
-venipede
-banette

Pearl! Road to Veilstone
May the 2nd
I have been very busy so I have chosen today to race through to the next two gyms. First up I have to face Jupiter.
This fight is likely to be a pain. I have no perfect counters here so lets see what happens.
I reach the top of eterna headquarters and clearly I have to start with Luxio. A single spark is enough to take out Zubat before disaster strikes. In comes Skuntank. I assume I can take a few hits and get some chip damage... 'fraid not. A critical hit nighslash takes me out, I lose Luxio far too early into the run. It isnt the worst loss but it will make Wake and Fantina that little bit tougher. I end up doing far too many switches chipping away at the skuntank until it is finally taken down by a stomp from ponyta. This was a dangerously tough battle. I need to make sure I have proper counters in the future.
Tumblr media
Next I head down the cycle road and head beneath it to catch a new pokemon. I manage to catch a Bronzor!!! I was initially tempted to use Bronzor but its low attacking stats just make it so difficult to use. So I continue on to heart home the location of the Barry fight.
I am a little unprepared for this I am hoping my three will do fine against his 4. He starts with Starly I start with ponyta. A few stomps later and I take it out. Double team is a pain though so I do take a little damage. Next in is Buizel, I switch to atlas (and take a bleeding pursuit!) and begin setting up curses. After about two I realise I need to start attacking, I razor leaf the buizel which brings in monferno. Atlas can't take a flame wheel so I switch to buizel and chip away at it with a mix of watergun and aqua jet. Now all three are pretty low and last in is Roselia. I have no choice to switch back into ponyta. Fortunately Ember manages to 2HKO as mega drain does minimal damage and it wastes a turn on toxic spikes. Overall another rough battle.
Clearly I need some new team members. There is only one that I currently have my eye on currently. Misdreavus! After going back to the old chataeu again to get a gastly. I race to the lost tower to get the misdreavus. I name him warlock and add him to the team.
Tumblr media
With a great ability allowing a second immunity, being a speedy special attacker with a great tm based move pool I feel pretty good. It's annoying it doesnt learn as many cool moves as honchkrow but I see him being much more useful.
With that I train against as many of the trainers as possible heading to and beyond veilstone. I also catch an unown and a sudowoodo along the way that may be needed for the party at some point. But so far so good.

The Climb Up Mt. Lanakila (Vs. Gladion/Enter: Nebby, Frostbite, and Supernova/RIP: Godzilla.../Ready for the end.)
After the Poni Island Grand Trial, I flew to the Pokemon Center near the base of Mount Lanalika to start my climb to the newly formed Pokemon League. When I got to the base, I encountered Gladion. He wanted to thank me for what I did with Lillie and their mother. As thanks, he offered to fight me with his new Z-Power Ring.
You are challenged by Pokemon Trainer Gladion!
The first pokemon he sends out is Crobat, and I accidentally sent out Chad. I switch out to Robo to deal with Crobat, getting lightly hit with Acrobatics twice. After the second Acrobatics, Robo OHKOs Crobat with Zen Headbutt.
Next is Lucario. I send out Chad to deal with Lucario. Lucario used...Grass Knot? Weird... Anyways, Chad OHKOs with a Dynamic Punch, and Lucario is revealed to be Zoroark! Too bad both are weak to Fighting, huh.
Next is Silvally. I decide Draco would be the best option to fight back. Silvally looks to be Grass type, so this was a good call. I use fly, and OHKO after two turns.
Finally, Lucario ACTUALLY comes out to fight. This time, I send out Micky. Micky Tanks an Aura Sphere, and Earthquake is enough to knock out Lucario.
After beating Gladion, he...smiled?! GLADION IS SMILING! I REPEAT: GLADION IS SMILING! I AM GOING TO F*CKING DIE! No exageration, but I would die for that smile. He continued talking, such as how Hau has changed and Lillie going to some place, but I’m too shocked by that smile of his. God. Damn it.
Now, I gotta delay my climb to go to Melemele Island to visit Lillie.
(a few minutes later...)
Alright, I’m face to face with Lillie and her Lunala. Lillie want’s to thank me for the time I saved Nebby on the bridge. Y’know, looking back at when that happened, we really changed. It’s been around a year since I started this Locke, I think. Huh.
Lillie wants to entrust Nebby to me. She also wants me to be with Necrozma. So I guess I’m fighting Lunala here. Huh. Well, I ain’t one to back down from a fight. Here we go, I suppose.
Lunala appeared!
I sent out Bwark because he isn’t weak to any of their moves. I start with a quick ball, but it fails. In retaliation, Lunala does less than half of Bwark’s HP with Moongeist Beam. Not too good, but we can catch them. Lunala follows up with Cosmic Power, raising its defense and special defense. Even a Choice Specs boosted Psychic didn’t do anything. I switch into Micky, and avoid a Night Daze. Micky goes for a Heavy Slam, but not after taking a Night Daze. It does less than expected, and my team’s 10 levels higher! I decide to go for Earthquake to do big damage, but Micky misses because Night Daze lowered our accuracy. Lunala lands a Moongeist Beam, leaving Micky in the red. Earthquake also leaves Lunala in the red. I decide to go into Chad, because he isn’t weak to any of the moves. Good thing we switch into a resisted Night Daze. I test out the Beast Ball to see if Lunala counts as an Ultra Beast. I guess not, because they immediately pop out. Maybe a Dusk Ball? YES, THE DUSK BALL WORKED! WE CAUGHT LUNALA! Phew, almost lost Micky there. Stay strong, little buddy. Welcome to the PC Box, Nebby!
Now Lillie is calling me Nebby’s father. So, are ya winning, son? Anyway, jokes aside, Lillie is asking Nebby to watch over her as she grows stronger herself. It’s very heart touching, and the music fits. Lillie hands me the Lunalium Z that Nebby was holding. Anyways, back to the mountain.
After healing up my team, I finally take the elevator up the mountain. I go into the grass for my encounter. And it’s...A SNEASEL! WEAVILE’S ONE OF MY FAVORITE POKEMON! YESSSS! I name her Frostbite because Frost (word related to ice) Bite (a Dark Type move).
Our first battle is against Ace Trainer Seth, with his Scyther and Malamar. Nice choice of Pokemon, man. Not good enough, however. Scyther and Malamar crumbles under Bwark’s Boosted Moonblasts.
I decide “Y’know what? i’m gonna get everyone on the team to level 75 before the league. Most are already LV 70, so why not.” Time to wreck some trainers and several wild encounters. brb.
(During grinding...)
Alright, a double battle. This shouldn’t be TOO bad. I’ll send out Robo and Godzilla. Oh god, it’s two fighting types. Okay, Quick Claw popped. There goes Crabominable. Oh no, Hawlucha outspeeds... please go for Robo. OH NO, GODZILLA! PLEASE LIVE! NO, GODZILLA! nnnnnnnOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I have lost Godzilla the Tyranitar. Why did I stay in? Hawlucha is fast, why did I think Robo would outspeed?! NO D:
Well...I now have to choose a new team member. Uh...welcome to the team, AssGass the Gastly. Or, uh, Bugzy the Vikavolt? God, there’s so many options... maybe Frostbite? I need to go back to Poni Island for the Razor Claw...Ah screw it. WELCOME TO THE TEAM, FROSTBITE! TIME TO STEAL SOME CLAWS FROM DRAGONS!
(several murders battles later...)
I finally got a Weavile and I taught her Ice Punch by move tutor. Yes, that is blood on their claws. And my hands. We needed to get that Razor Claw eventually. Don’t question it.
I finally got to fight Necrozma. I face them, and...Use my Master Ball. I ain’t risking it after losing Godzilla. Hello, Supernova. Nice to have you. Colress approaches me and gave me the N-Solarizer and N-Lunarizer. That was nice. Anyways, back to the grind.
(Several Hours Later...)
I got the team finally ready. Weavile is still 10 levels behind everyone else, but that’s fine. They’re equal to the League, and that’s what matters. I also used heart scales and Move tutors to get some of the best possible moves.
The Team:
Bwark the Level 73 Primarina. Item: Expert Belt. Moves: Moonblast, Sparkling Aria, Psychic, Shadow Ball
Draco the Level 71 Salamence. Item: Muscle Band. Moves: Fly, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Steel Wing.
Robo the Level 70 Metagross. Item: Aguav Berry. Moves: Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Bullet Punch, Thunder Punch.
Chad the Level 72 Machamp. Item: Scope Lens. Moves: Cross Chop, Stone Edge, Knock Off, Bulk Up.
Micky the Level 73 Mudsdale. Item: Quick Claw. Moves: Earthquake, Rock Slide, Heavy Slam, Stealth Rocks.
Frostbite the Level 60 Weavile. Item: Darkinium Z. Moves: Ice Punch, Night Slash, Brick Break, Hone Claws.
It’s been a year since I started this Nuzlocke. It’s time to end this.

[Brook as a Pokémon would be a shiny Dubwool or a shiny Wooloo. Skeleton Brook is a skeleton Normal/Ghost skeleton Dubwool. Skeleton Dubwool Brook is able to learn some additional Ghost type moves and Ice type moves through TMs.]
ooo i really like the idea of brook as a shiny dubwool gijinka...oo im having drawing ideas...
pokemon is my thing and i love doing research, so ive been looking into what type of moves brook could know:
Ice Shard or Freeze Dry (for his ice abilities). ice shard is a physical move with priority, while freeze dry has a chance of freezing the opponent (and fits better than other moves that freeze)
Grass Whistle, which puts the target to sleep. i chose this over sing bc the description of grass whistle implies that it’s done by an instrument/body part than singing, which i think fits brook better
Perish Song, as another sound-based moves; any target that hears it gains a perish count, and faints after that hits 0; this doesn’t parallel any of brook’s abilities but it does fit his whole death vibe
Extreme Speed, Fake Out or Shadow Sneak - these are moves with increased priority which fits brook’s speed-y nature; extreme speed is a basic damaging move; fake out can only be used in the beginning of a battle, which fits how brook’s fights usually go (fast, one-hit knock-outs); and shadow sneak, also a basic damaging move but ghost flavored (+ has that shadow aesthetic) Aerial Ace also works - it’s described as a speedy move that never misses.
Slash or Night Slash (for brook’s sword fighting). these are slashing moves with high critical-hit ratios.
though, as much as i like the aesthetic of dubwool!brook, dubwool is not a great fit for him. dubwool is a slow-ish tank with charging moves while brook is a fragile, hard-hitting speedster with slashing moves. of course, finding one pokemon that fits his general abilities and can learn the moves above is impossible, but i do have some ideas:
Kricketune. honestly probably the best fit, with it’s music aesthetic and slashing abilities. and it has distinctive hair (a fun mustache)! it’s stats are overall low, but it has high attack and speed, which fit brook’s abilities. and it can learn a fair number of fitting moves.
Potential moves: Sing, Perish Song, Night Slash, Aerial Ace, Sword Dance, Laser Focus
Gengar. a very typical choice, but it does fit. gengar causes a severe chill, which fits brook’s undead chill. plus, it’s a fast pokemon, with a high speed stat. and gastly could fit brook’s afro, design-wise. unfortunately, it’s more of a special attacker than a physical one. and brook always being a ghost type doesn’t really work as well.
Potential Moves: Perish Song, Confuse Ray, Sucker Punch, Icy Wind, Laser Focus, Trick
Mr. Rime. honestly, i only picked this for that dapper aesthetic. it’s not very quick, and it has more of a dancer aesthetic than a musical one, but hey. brook would make a very cute mr. rime.
Potential Moves: Ice Shard, Freeze Dry, Teeter Dance, Trick, Confuse Ray
Toxtricity (Amped Form). punk rock aesthetic! specifically fits post-ts brook with it’s rock vibe and guitar playing. other than that, not a great fit, in terms of abilities (electricity and poison doesn’t really map to any of brook’s abilities).
Potential Moves: Eerie Impulse, Boomburst, Scary Face, Thunderbolt, Screech, Overdrive
honestly, the whole “being dead” thing is hard to tie in, bc there are no ghost pokemon that have swords/sword-like abilities or a musical aesthetic.  and the transition from alive brook to skeleton brook is hard to reflect, mechanically. there are a few ghost pokemon that are specifically dead (yamask and phantump come to mind), but none of them fit well either.
but! there is a mechanic that could fit brook’s situation, or at least would be an interesting twist on it, and that would be Shadow Pokemon! from the pokémon colosseum. this is more of a corruption process, since it’s caused by removing emotions, and it would definitely be a good fit for moria and his whole shadow thing. but i think it would be an interesting fit for brook, too.
like, brook was a normal pokemon, but then he was corrupted into a shadow pokemon (possibly due to losing his friends). he was then stuck as an emotionless shadow for a while, until he was freed by the straw hats. he returned to his original personality, but kept his shadow abilities and form (aka his ‘skeletal form’). not exactly how shadow pokemon actually work, but it still fits with the concept. plus, there are shadow versions of normal moves that i think would fit brook well, like shadow panic.
but yeah, i really like the idea of op characters as pokemon, and now i really want to draw straw hat pokemon gijinkas.

PokeTeam Go Episode 1: Awaken
Tumblr media
“Get back here!” shouts a female spoink. Glasses shield her eyes as a cap sits on her head. She bounces toward the fleeing sableye and gastly. Give me my things back!”
“Try and take them from us, Spoink!” the gastly yells, male in tone. “You’ll never catch us!”
“This way, Gas!” cries the sableye. “We’ll lose her in here!” The two purple pokemon jolt into the thickets in hopes of losing the spoink hot on their tail. The spoink continues on their trail, pursuing them through the foliage.
“You sure this is the right way, Gem?” asks them gastly. “I can’t see where we’re going!”
“Shut it!” the sableye orders. “Just follow me!”
“I’ll get you two! I want me things back!” The spoink appears in a clearing which houses a lake with a waterfall. “Where did those thieves go?!” She scans her surroundings, searching for the two purple pokemon, yet doesn’t see them anywhere. “They better not have gotten away!” Then, a figure by the lake catchers her eyes. A blue riolu lying by the edge of the water with a cobalt bandana around its neck. The spoink lets out a gasp. “Oh my Arceus!” She bounces toward the unconscious pokemon, then lays her paws on it, nudging the creature. “Hey, are you okay?!” The riolu murmurs a groan before its sound ceases, prompting the pig pokemon to nudge the jackal again, but harder. “I said are you okay?! Wake up!”
“Oh my head…” the riolu says a boyish voice, coming from a riolu as he holds his head with his paw. His eyes inch open. “H-huh?” Slowly, he begins to sit up, keeping his paw attached to his head. “A spoink?” The little blue creature looks around his surroundings with his brown eyes, taking notice of the big lake with the small waterfall and several trees dotted around. “Hey, where am I?”
“Oh, good!” exclaims the spoink. “You’re awake! I was starting to worry…”
The riolu’s eyelids peel back as far as they can. “Oh my Arceus! Y-you’re talking?! S-spoinks are not supposed to talk! A-am I dreaming?” He slaps himself hard in the face, letting out an “ouch” before rubbing the pain-affected area on his cheek. “Nope, definitely felt that one… Not dreaming…”
“Why did you do that?” asks the spoink. “You shouldn’t slap yourself. You don’t want to hurt yourself.”
The riolu’s eyes widen again as he looks at the spoink. “Y-you’re really talking! That is super freaky, yet interesting!”
“Well, you’re the most interesting riolu I’ve ever met.”
“What?” snaps the pokemon, standing to his feet. “What did you call me?” The spoink holds his paws up to him. “Did you call me a riolu?!”
“Well, yeah. That’s what you are, right?”
“I’m not a riolu! I’m a boy!”
The spoink lowers her paws, puzzled. “Um, okay. Yeah, you’re a boy. You’re also the strangest riolu I’ve ever met.”
The riolu extends his arm and points to her. “Listen here, I told you I’m not a-” He pauses, then turns his paw around to examine it. “Huh…?” He brings up the other to examine it. “What the?!” The riolu then looks down to see his legs, and notices his fluffy tail. “Ahhh!” Noticing the lake beside him, the riolu leans over to look at his reflection, showing his canine-like face with brown eyes to contrast with the blackened mask around them. He gasps and screams with shock, squishing his head with his paws as he looks away. “T-this can’t be happening… I’ve turned into… into a pokemon!” His voice spurs the foliage nearby, hearing a rattling coming from the bushes. “Huh…? What was that?” Two pokemon burst from out of the shrubs and appear in front of the riolu and spoink. The pokemon are the sableye and gastly the spoink had been chasing.
“It’s the thieves!” shouts the spoink. “The ones who stole my berries and my father’s pearl!”
“Well, well, well,” the gastly speaks. “Seems like the spoink has a friend.”
“Give me back my things! I swear, if you don’t, I’ll-.”
“Oh, you want them?” utters the sableye. “Then, how about you battle us for them? Unless, the poor little piggy is scared.”
The spoink growls. “Not me!” She turns to the riolu. “Will you help me get my things back?”
The riolu stares blankly at her. “Gee, I-”
“Don’t worry,” the spoink interrupts. “It’ll be quick and over with.” The spoink bounces forward toward the sableye and starts her attacks.
“Wait, I don’t even know how to-” The riolu takes notice of a black ball heading straight toward him. “Whoa!” He sprints out of the way, dodging the exploding sphere of dark energy. “Hey!”
“Ha!” The gastly laughs. “Cowardly Riolu!” He readies himself for another shot and fires. As the orb propels toward the blue pokemon, the riolu dodges again, but quicker than he normally does. “Whoa, did I just dodge that quickly?” He dodges a second one. “Wait, I’m using quick attack!” As the gastly keeps throwing shadow balls, the riolu evades them and gets closer fast. When he gets within range, the blue pokemon socks the ghost-type with his fist, knocking him back. The gastly shakes his head and goes to attack the riolu with a ray of light. The jackal pokemon darts toward the gastly again, only to be licked with its tongue.
“Ugh!” The riolu pauses, but manages to continue toward the purple pokemon, who then uses his tongue to attack him. While the two boys battle, the spoink has knocked back the sableye with a psywave move. The sableye is pushed back a couple of feet, but manages to stay standing. The gremlin pokemon takes out her shadow claws and strikes at the pig pokemon, but the spoink bounces high in the air, then punches the dark creature on descent. After some licks from the ghost-type’s tongue attacks, the riolu charges and punches the gastly, knocking him into the sableye. The two purple pokemon collapse and drop their belongings.
The gastly struggles to remain afloat. “Gem, they’re too strong! What do we do?!”
“Let’s get out of here!” The sableye gets up quickly and the two head into the trees to get away.
“My gosh!” the riolu spurts. “I-I can’t believe it… I won a battle… I haven’t done that since… ever…”
The spoink goes to retrieve her berries and pearl, then looks to the riolu. “Thank you so much for helping me get my berries and pearl back. I’ve been trying to get them all morning.”
“It’s no problem, Miss…”
“Emmy,” she says, hopping up to him. “My name’s Emmy. And you are?”
“Zach,” the riolu responds. “And you’re very welcome.” The blue pokemon grudges his stomach and kneels on his knee. “Ugh!” His cheeks transition to purple. “Oh, my stomach!”
“You okay?”
“I feel awful…”
“You’ve been poisoned by the gastly’s lick attack,” Emmy tells him. “We need to get you some help.” She gets on his side, puts her arm around him, and helps him up. “Come.”
“No,” Zach utters. “You don’t have to do that…”
“I do,” she says. “It’s the least I can do to return the favor. Besides, didn’t you say you weren’t a pokemon before?”
Zach reflects back on that thought. “Y-yeah… I’m going to need help finding my way around… I’m also going to need to know how to handle my moves, now that I’m a riolu…”
“I can help you if you’d like. You did save my precious items from those two petty criminals.”
“Thanks, Emmy… Who were those two anyway?”
“Gas the Gastly and Gem the Sableye. They’re two small-time thieves that have been stealing from pokemon in these woods. They are quick to raid pokemon traveling on their own and make off with their possessions…”
“Well, I’m glad to have stopped those criminals… Ugh!”
“They will be back… But, I’m more worried about you.”
“I feel so sick… So weak…”
“We’re almost to town. Once we’re there, we’ll get to the medical post and have the doctor fix you up. Then, if you want, we can hang out and I’ll tell you everything you want to know.”
“I appreciate it, Emmy. Thank you… Ugh!” The riolu grudges at his stomach more. “Go easy on the hopping… I think I’m going to throw up.”
“Sorry, Zach.” Emmy does her best to escort the riolu toward the settlement through the trees. They pass a sign by the path contains an arrow with the name “Leafy Creek” written below it.

pokemon (games) and/or pokeani for the meme?
I’ll go ahead and answer for the anime, since although I prefer the games, I think the anime works better for memes like this.
the first character i ever fell in love with:
Ash Ketchum, way back in 1998. He was pretty much an instant fave for me, and no doubt contributed to my love of snark and sass (given that his name could have just as easily been Sass Ketchum and would have arguably been more accurate).
a character that i used to love/like, but now do not:
Manon. I liked her well enough at first, but the way her stans constantly bashed and degraded Alan while using that degradation to prop Manon up (often by making him her trophy boyfriend, which is really disgusting when you consider not only the age, but the maturity difference between them) quickly ruined any fondness I had for her. The fact that she got off scot-free in the show without having to realize or own up to any of her own mistakes or shortcomings (while Alan took the fall for all of them instead) didn’t help.
a ship that i used to love/like, but now do not:
Mmm, I can’t really think of anything for this one. I don’t think there’s anything that I used to seriously ship in this show that I don’t ship now. There are casual ones I can think of that I no longer even casually ship, but even those were more of a shrug and acceptance rather than something I actively liked.
my ultimate favorite character™:
ALAN [SYCAMORE], FIRST OF HIS NAME, HEART OF A CHAMPION, SOUL OF A DRAGON. It’s honestly no contest. I cannot think of a single character in the whole of the PokéAni that could come even close to comparing with him. I still block on sight for any nonsense hatred or condemnation thrown his way, and I regret nothing.
prettiest character:
I mean … I know I’m biased, but …
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My valiant dragon son is beautiful. I mean, in particular, his eyes …
Tumblr media
He has dragon fire in his eyes. You don’t get much prettier than that.
my most hated character:
Paul. He’s straight up abusive to his pokémon, and him learning to give them the absolute bare minimum of care and praise at the end of a match (or losing to Ash at the League, which I literally do not care about at all) is not enough for him to curry favor or earn forgiveness in my eyes. He can go burn, and for that matter, he can take that bastard Damian from the OS right along with him as he does.
my OTP:
Ash/Misty will always be endgame to me, as well as Jessie/James.
I do think that it’s probable that Ash and Misty would end up dating other people as they grow older—that Ash would date Dawn for a while, for instance, and that Misty would have a relationship with Lana—but at the end of it all I think they’d find their way back to each other, once they’ve grown up and matured and realized that, while their first crushes on each other might have been puppy love back when they were kids, now that they’re older … it’s deeper and more meaningful than that. It’s real.
As for Jessie/James, I think those two are soulmates, however you want to interpret it. Maybe their relationship stays platonic forever. Maybe their relationship is romantic. Maybe their relationship floats in a nebulous space between platonic and romantic, undefined as Meowth rolls his eyes from the other side of the balloon. Whatever the case, I don’t really care as long as they’re together. That’s what matters most.
my NOTP:
Aside from the obvious ones of bestiality, incest, and pedophilia, my answer to this would have to be Alan/Manon. I never liked it to begin with because of the age / maturity gap between them (honestly, Manon acts like Bonnie, the show parallels her to Bonnie, and Alan is so mature people often mistake him for an adult despite Malva referring to him as a boy, how is this even a question), but between how the show handled their relationship and how the ship’s stans (who are always Manon stans, from my experience) handle it / treat Alan, I honestly want to scrape my brain out with an ice pick every time I’m reminded this ship exists. It’s a trashboat of epic proportions as far as I’m concerned.
favorite episode:
It’s less one single episode, and more one trio of episodes: OS022 - OS024, a.k.a. “Abra and the Psychic Showdown”, “The Tower of Terror”, and “Haunter vs. Kadabra.” Those three episodes left a major lasting impression on me as a kid, in a good way. That depiction of Sabrina as a villain with a creepy monotone, who had a small “doll” that represented her childlike innocence (that was still villainous in her innocence!), and the way she presented a formidable threat that no one else in the series had managed until that point … not to mention the backstory with how she drove her own parents away (and turned her own mother into a doll), how she was always waiting for her father to show himself again, how she drove herself to that point by obsessing over her powers (I would too, ngl) … man. I loved everything about that trio of episodes. I still love that trio of episodes. There are quite a few episodes in the OS that I turn to regularly whenever I just need something to watch, but I think those three are extra special.
saddest death:
LATIOS IN THE GUARDIANS OF ALTO MARE. At first I was like, “wait, did anyone who wasn’t a villain ever even permanently die?” AND THEN I REMEMBERED LATIOS AND HAD TO CLUTCH AT MY HEART FOR A SECOND. RIP LATIOS, YOU ARE MISSED.
favorite season:
It’s a tie between the very first season (Kanto), and the second season (Orange Islands). While both had their faults, what I like most about those two seasons that latter seasons (even in the OS, with Johto!) lack is how organic they feel. Kanto especially was created before the Pokémon Anime really decided on its identity, and chose a formula to stick to for successive seasons, most likely because they weren’t sure they were even going to get successive seasons back when they were making it (the series was supposed to end with Mewtwo Strikes Back, after all). As a result of this, we had some truly original episodes. We had the three episodes with Sabrina that I mentioned above, but we also had episodes like “The Ghost of Maiden’s Peak” with a Gastly that could talk for reasons unexplained and who impersonated humans to keep a dead girl’s legend alive; we had episodes like “Mystery at the Lighthouse” with a giant Dragonite that was never explained or seen again (also, still mad at Team Rocket to this day for attacking that poor baby); we had episodes like “Electric Soldier Porygon” where everyone traveled into the internet with Porygon to stop a computer virus (and give 800+ Japanese children seizures, but that wasn’t supposed to be part of it); and we had episodes like “Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon” where Ash discovered that a bunch of fossil pokémon were living underground and, in the process of all this, almost got eaten by an Aerodactyl. And the Orange Islands, while slightly more tame, was similarly allowed to be pretty free and fun given that it didn’t follow the badge quest formula, and the Orange Islands weren’t drawn from the games, meaning that the anime team could do whatever they wanted with them. So between the anime not yet having a set formula in season one, and the anime being set somewhere completely new in season two, seasons one and two of the PokéAni had plots that were basically like:
Tumblr media
That was every day in the first two seasons of the PokéAni, because the first two seasons of the PokéAni were already so goddamn weird, and they were better off for it.
Aside from how weird and strange the plot could get, though, I also feel that the first season especially felt a lot more organic than even the second because the effects of the journey were regularly shown on the main characters. They were lost pretty much all the time (which is why they needed to keep Tracey for Johto, tbqh; he was the only one who had a sense of direction). They were often dirty and longing for baths and laundromats. In “Wake Up Snorlax” they’re out of food and practically crying as the town they reach doesn’t have anything to offer them because it’s been so long since they’ve eaten. Ash, Brock, and Misty are two children and a teenager traveling across the continent by themselves. It makes sense that they wouldn’t always have a nice place to sleep, that they’d run out of food, that they’d be grimy and exhausted a good deal of the time, especially since they’re always lost. (They were lost for like 70% of the first season istg. The narrator even lampshades when it takes them two weeks to reach Vermilion City and they all cheer.) I really liked how the first season in particular showed them tired, grody, hungry, and lost for a good portion of the journey. It felt so much more realistic than the perfect, spotless journeys that came later on.
least favorite season:
Outside of Alan and everything to do with him, I’m not much of a fan of Kalos. I’m also not really a fan of Alola because I don’t think slice of life really suits this series as much as the adventure genre does, but it had some good cameo episodes and also has Gladion, so it has its good points, too.
character that everyone else in the fandom loves, but i hate:
Paul and Manon. Paul in particular is incredibly popular and I will never understand it.
my ‘you’re piece of trash, but you’re still a fave’ fave:
Honestly, I’m not sure? I think the closest I get to this is Jessie and James, since they’re two grown adults constantly stalking and bullying a ten year old boy, which would be insanely worrying if not for the fact that said ten year old put them in their place literally every other day. (Plus I like to think they actually do really care about him at this point. It’s what I’d like to believe, anyway.) Maybe Cassidy and Botch would be better contenders, though. They have no redeeming qualities, they’re just assholes, but I’d still be super mega excited to see them come back.
my ‘beautiful cinnamon roll who deserves better than this’ fave:
ALAN deserves better than all he has suffered, and definitely deserves better than this goddamn unappreciative fandom. He is a burned cinnamon roll, been through hell and back, slightly charred, and he deserves the world.
Apart from him, though, Ash every time he gets put through some hell because of fate or destiny or legendaries or whoever the hell has decided to mess with him this week. After everything that went down in Kalos, can we really blame him for going to Alola for a vacation? And yet he’s STILL pulled into Ultra Wormhole nonsense! My god, just let this poor boy rest, he deserves it!!
my ‘this ship is wrong, nasty, and makes me want to cleanse my soul, but i still love it’ ship:
Listen, I’m not one of those fools that thinks it’s canon, but I always loved the fic trope of Giovanni being Ash’s father because he and Delia had a fling way back in the day and I am grateful to that awful musical for giving it to us. The angst potential is real for this one, and I also like the idea of Giovanni allowing Jessie and James to chase Ash all over creation despite how it completely tanked their careers and potential not just because it “keeps them out of the way,” but also because it’s a way for him to keep an eye on his son without them ever knowing that’s his son. There’s some good fic potential there.
On a more serious note, while I don’t think it’s “wrong,” or “nasty,” or “makes me want to cleanse my soul,” I’ve always kind of shipped Spencer/Delia, too. The idea of Spencer Hale and Delia Ketchum finding love together later in life, and Ash and Molly becoming step-siblings as a result, is one that warms my heart. I know that Molly’s mother comes back at the end of Spell of the Unown, but … well, that was just a post-credits scene and so it’s easy to ignore. Come on, let Ash have a little step-sister. Let Molly have the mother she always wanted. It’s what they deserve.
my ‘they’re kind of cute, and i lowkey ship them, but i’m not too invested’ ship:
I wouldn’t say I’m highkey invested in any romantic ship in this show, haha. I mean, let’s be honest, it’s not like any of them have a chance at development outside of small hints here or there, you know? So there’s no reason to get all up in a twist about it. So I think that most ships I ship could fall into this category. Cute, but no need to make a fuss about them.

what is your origin story for EJ
Well…it was something like this….
Warm sun glows and glitters down onto the small boy’s head. His little knees tucked up close to his stomach, leaving only enough room for the comically large book resting in his lap. A tiny pair of glasses slip slowly down the child’s nose as his blue orbs race across the page.  Small black frames contrasting wildly against his ivory colored skin and glassy eyes. Little brown curls dance down Jack’s forehead as the wind brushes softly against his frame. The scent of grass and wildflowers engulfing the boy as he frantically consumes the contents of the book under his hands.
“ In summary, the cornea is the clear, transparent front covering which admits light and begins the refractive process. It also keeps foreign particles from entering the eye,” Jack mumbles as he reads, the medical textbook weighing down his miniscule body as he squirms in place. The bark of an old oak tree scratches at the boy’s back through his red t-shirt, but that hardly bothers the freckly kid.
“Jack???” A deep, soft voice calls out from a distance “Jack, where are you??” Upon hearing his father’s voice, the boy curls up tighter in his spot, and tries to hide between the covers of the book. Heavy footsteps approach rapidly from behind him, soft worried huffing following. The sight of his father’s blue jeans out the corner of his eyes causes Jacky to shrink up further.
“I’m not here,” He whispers feebly, trying with all his 7-year-old might to hide from his father.
“Jack, what on earth have I told you about taking my textbooks?” his father crouches down besides him.
“That these are very expensive,” Jack mumbles.
“And?
"And you don’t want to lose me….” A shameful flush crosses the boy’s cheeks. “That’s right Jay,” the father scoops him up effortlessly. Naturally, Jack grumbles and squirms, trying to protest the affection from his father. Because, as all humans know, being loved by your parent is sooooo uncool when you’re in third grade.
“Dad stop,” the boy growls softly, trying to crawl out of his parent’s arms. A heavy sigh leaves the older man.
“One day you'lml wish you had a dad around,” he hums
“Never!” the midget whines.
“Wanna bet?”
“yeah, five bucks!”
Apparently to Jack, five dollars is prime real estate.
“Alright kid. I’ll take you up on your offer….”
A soft gasp escapes Jack’s soft pale being as he jerks up in bed. Papers fall from his messy covers and scatter onto the floor with a dramatic flutter. Panting, Jack runs his hands through his wild mane of near-black hair, trying to will away the cold sweat running down his back. Despite his thin t-shirt, the poor man feels both ridiculously hot and frighteningly cold at the same time.
A sense of throbbing loneliness crosses over Jack as he turns his gaze over to the dark nightstand to his left. A series of small knick knacks lay scattered about. A half-solved rubik’s cube, some broken pens, a picture of mom and dad…A small alarm clock on the desk reads off five-o-clock a.m. The red glow of the little numbers hardly registers in the mind of the man as he sleepily tries to gather himself together.
“Ugh,” Jack grumbles, slipping out of the bed and searching meekly for his clothes. A huff comes from his bunkmate, the weed-scented teen rolling over in his fitful sleep.  Cringing, the spindly man slips into his clothes and snatches his backpack off the floor.
“Keep it down,” groans his buzzed roommate. his gastly complexion obvious as he grabs his blanket and drowns his himself in it.
“Shut up grassyass,” retorts the scholar as he angrily storms from the tiny dorm. The halls glow dimly with lights plugged into the wall,  just enough lighting to allow those drunk and late-working students to return to their dorms with semi-accuracy. Jack’s time-worn shoes thump against the floor clumsily as  he traverses this strange area. Of course the day wont be of any particular excitement. And Jack is very much aware of this trivial fact. And it is in his mind something else to not care about. His mind is on the schedule.
“Advanced Anatomy, Chemistry 104, Med lab no. 2….” Mumbling is what brings Jack comfort as he walks down the many flight of stairs to his earliest classes. Though mumbling is probably an issue when it comes to paying attention to the hallways.
“fuck,” grunts a random student walking down the halls, his shoulders slumped and head cast downward.
“pardon?” Jack hums, turning back to the stranger to see if he is okay.
“You should have bumped into me,” the freak grunts “It would have been a life saver.” And with that, the stranger rushes off, his face pointed to the end of the hallway as if it were an angel sent from heaven. Confusion fills the poor college student as he watches the freakish man stand at the end of the hall.
“what?…” Jack mumbles, slowly turning and rushing away from the teen.
Despite not seeing the strange student again for the rest of the morning, Jack can’t help but feel watched, The burning gaze of unseen eyes trailing along his shoulders and head as he walks briskly around campus.
The warm spring air felt suffocating against his neck as he meandered among the lazy old spruce trees and mildly exhausted students. Nothing felt better than a blast of cool air inside the main recreation center attached to the cafeteria. Sitting inside, the young man munches disdainfully on a sub sandwich, his back hurting from hours of hunching over papers. Softly, as if it were merely from a dream, a soft song begins to play from Jack’s backpack. It’s an old jingle on the piano, one that his mother used to play when he wouldn’t go to bed at night. Quickly snatching his phone from the bag, he answers.
“Hello?” grumbles the student, “who is this?
”“who is this?” Jests a familiar deep voice “Jeez kid I didn’t think you’d forget me like this.” A soft rush of shame crosses Jack’s body as he wiggles awkwardly in his spot.
“Sorry dad,” he hums “I guess I’ve just been on edge all day…”
“I should expect so,” His father replies with pride “My boy is getting his PhD in neurosurgery next month! At the age of twenty-hecking-four!” A blush covers Jack’s freckly face as he looks away from  his fellow students.
“Dad…” He grumbles “C'mon it’s no that big of a deal” A scoff comes from the speaker.
“Not that big of a deal my ass, your mother and I are counting down the days until we get to be there for your graduation!!” Warmth blossoms in Jack’s chest as he listens to his father blabber on about his accomplishments.  The other students cast him strange looks as they pass by, his awkward form curled up on the floor blushing and listening to his phone. Sadly checking the time, Jack reluctantly clears his throat.
“Dad, I need to go to my next lab,” Jack interrupts, awkwardly packing his things together.
“Okay kiddo,” his father chuckles in return
“We love you, kid.”
“love you too dad.”
Worrying is never a good idea, when it comes to issues it is best to merely assess your options and acquire the tools necessary to fix it. The solution to many problems is just a walk in the park. Or in this case, a walk in the forest. Soft moist earth is crushed easily under Jacks worn red sneakers as the tired boy meanders through the hiking trails by the campus. Old birch and oak trees sway and dance in the light wind. Jack’s favorite thing about being in the woods is the seclusion.
Cool breezes rush over his head and tousle his hair as he meanders down the trail. Finally, after a day of racing around and avoiding the eyes of unseen watchers, it’s nice to relax. With each step Jack finds himself more relaxed, more relieved from his fears.   The sun creeps down behind the distant hills, the crickets calling out to each other as the world around them darkens. Owls hoot and holler from their perches on the treetops, breaking the peaceful silence. Soft bubbling of a nearby creek bringing a small smile to Jack’s face. Turning his head, the exhausted college students note several people in a clearing surrounded by heavy bags and random items.
"Campers?” Jack mumbles “on a Tuesday??” confusion fills the man’s chest as he slowly meanders away from the rapidly darkening clearing. Probably just a bunch of stoners, its not uncommon for kids like that to hide out in the forest to hide the smell of their smoke. Nonetheless, the sapphire-eyed man shuffles further into the forest.
Eventually, the sun does set, and the night takes hold of the forest. And, being a man with poor directional skill, Jack finds himself hopelessly lost. Confusion absolutely consumes the tall sleepy man as he paces confusedly in a small clear patch within the forest.
“Hey man, what are you doing here?” A voice cuts into Jack’s worried meandering. Looking up, Jack’s eyes meet dirty blue ones. A dark-haired guy a few years younger than him with bushy sideburns on his cheeks and a tattered old jacket covering his frame.
"I’m lost,“ Jack replies, nervously rubbing the back of his head "Could you point me back towards my college? Faraday University?” The strange, tired-looking man points down a random trail.
“That way…” He grumbles “It’s best not to come to these parts right now, kid.”
“I’m pretty sure I’m older than you, bub,” Jack chuckles, shoving his hands into his pockets “But thanks!” the man adjusts his tan jacket and huffs, shaking his head.
“Jeez,” the stranger mumbles “Richard would love you.” Confused, Jack casts the strange man a soft scowl before racing off down the trail.
“weirdo…” Jack grumbles as he stumbles head first into a projectile rock.
Thunk
Pain thumps through Jack’s head as he wriggles on the ground. A soft trickle of blood racing down his forehead as he squirms. The sensation of rough rope around his ankles and wrists squeezes and tugs at his soft pale skin. Slowly, Jack opens his eyes, the blaring light from flashlights surrounding him.
“He is awake” hums one of the hooded people standing to his right “Prepare the tools.” reality comes crashing back down onto Jack as he looks around. The rope bites down into his skin and causes his wrists to bleed, panic fills his chest like ice water and sweat races down his neck. Arms and legs held apart by rope, Jack yanks and struggles violently against his bindings. A choked sob escapes his throat as two cloaked individuals kneel by his head.
“Hush now,” whispers a soft, feminine voice “This is for the good of the world.” Pure excitement shakes in the young woman’s voice as she places her hands on Jack’s forehead, coating her delicate fingers in crimson as she forces him to lay flat on the ground. A second person pries open Jack’s mouth and jaws with their fingers, not minding the harsh bites they received from the pale kidnappee. Forcing a strange metal contraption into Jack’s mouth, the hooded freak forces the young man’s jaws to be held in place by the mechanism. Soft fearful wails escaped Jack’s maw as he tries to struggle. “Help…” He thinks desperately, his throat growing hoarse from yelling. A third person approaches, sitting on his chest and preparing a metal spike in their hands. Pressing the tip of the spike onto Jack’s front teeth, the stranger pulls a mallet from their cloak. Fear-laced tears bubble out of Jack’s eyes as he wails helplessly.
CRACK
A pain-filled scream escapes the poor college student as the spike snaps his front teeth. Blood fills Jack’s mouth as he gurgles and writhes in place. The spike is placed close to his molars.
CRACK
CRACK
CRACK
Horrible screams leave Jack’s mouth, the urge to vomit rising as his tongue is coated in his mutilated teeth shards and blood. Quickly, the metal bit is moved from his jaws and the hooded figures back off. As soon as they do so, Jack heaves and vomits onto the ground beside his head.
“Help me!” He screams “Please! Someone! Anyone!” Slowly, the cult around him begin to dig, burying their hands into the earth and flinging clods of muck everywhere. A large circular moat forms around Jack, his body sore and filthy form. Blood trickles down from Jack’s mouth as he heaves and sobs softly. With some hesitation, Jack closes his eyes to shield himself from the scene. “Mom…Dad…” Jack’s mind wanders in a pain-induced stupor “I’m so sorry…” Hands grab and tug at his shoes and arms, the stranger tugging at his fingers and yanking off his socks.
“I love you both so much”
A metal piece is shoved under his right thumbnail, prying up his nail and yanking it off.
“I wish I could have made you proud of me”
Pliers meticulously remove his toenails, the sickening cracking and snapping of his skin and nails ringing out like gong strikes.
“I wish I could come home”
Soon, his fingernails are gone, the pain pulsing up his arms and legs as blood gushes wildly from his hands.
"I wish I could be there…”
With all of his nails removed, Jack opens his eyes feebly, noting the hot ring of soon-to-be fire in the trench. But this discovery is hardly  important as Jack’s head is forced to face the sky. Soft chanting emits from the strangers around him, soft rhythmic chanting from a language that Jack has never really heard like this.
“Thank you,” Whispers a soft, delicate voice from his right “You will make a mighty fine vessel for our lord.” faint confusion fills Jack’s body as he stares up into the starless, moonless night sky.
Suddenly, the metal spike returns, pushing in between his eyelid and eye and digging into the socket. A fresh volley of pained screams escape from Jack’s mouth as the eyelid is stretched wider. A scoop-shaped something pushes up underneath his eyeball, forcing the delicate skin to the sides of his eye to rip open and bleed profusely. Pain pulses through his skin and bones as a wild, animal-like wail fills the air. Soon, with another sharp burst of pain, all sight fades away from Jack’s right eye. A soft, disgusting slurping sound can be heard over the ringing in Jack’s ears. With his one working eye, Jack sees the beautiful blue form of his right eye being dropped into a small jar.
The chanting grows ever louder as a final hooded figure stands over Jack’s legs, straddling his thighs and forcing him to be immobile.  With his attention focused on the new hooded cultist, Jack hardly notices the tugging of his left eyelid until the bloody spike is shoved into it. A pained wail is all that Jack can manage as the man standing above him readies what looks to be a large sledgehammer. The scoop comes under his left eye and the familiar sensation of skin tearing by his eyes comes again.
Just as the scoop tears out Jack’s left eye, the man swings the sledgehammer down into his right hip like a wrecking ball.
C R A C K
A violent scream of pain fills the air as Jack’s tailbone snaps, his body flooding with intense pain. The urge to vomit rises up again, yet Jack can’t gather the strength to move, his body broken by the horrible things that have happened. Footsteps indicate that the cult is stepping back.
“ пожалуйста, ребенок, открой себя нашему хозяину” someone in the group grumbles, stepping closer and kneeling down by Jack’s head. Slowly, the group begins to chant softly.
“ восхвалять повелителя , восхвалять повелителя , восхвалять повелителя ,восхвалять повелителя  ,восхвалять повелителя….”
And with the finality of a mother whispering softly to their baby, the woman kneeling by Jack’s head murmurs into his ear.
“Chernobog.”
Confusion was short-lived with Jack as his eyelids are pried open and scalding hot liquid is poured inside. The smell of singed flesh and hair filling the air along with the foul stench of tar and brimstone as the liquid in his eye sockets pool down and out from between his eyelids.  Pain, anguish, fear,  no longer is Jack able to comprehend the world around him as the shock sets in. And the world goes black…

-Enji almost gave him his Groudon, but he knew that it wouldn't have listened a young trainer like Shoto and let that go.
-When Enji found out Shoto decided not to catch any fire type pokemon he got even angrier.

-Katsuki's startner was a male eevee, now an umbreon.
-He came out from an egg that his parent gave to him.
-He hoped for somethinf cooler and stronger therefore Katsuki trained him until exhaustion.
-But they hadn't a strong bond.
-That's why he evolved only now in a umbreon, because finally Katsuki was getting better and eevee decided to evolve as a reward.
Izuku Midoriya:
Tumblr media
-Izuku startner was a male riolu, now lucario.
-He came out from an egg that Izuku father decided to dinate to Izuku as a way to remember him.
-Their relationship started out pretty well...until theu started to lose against Katsuki.
-Riolu was even stronger than eevee and felt like it was all Izuku fault; they broke apart.
-Only now that Izuku got more confidence riolu decided tried to bond again with his trainer and it worked.
-Now they have an umbreakable bond.
Minoru Mineta:
Tumblr media
-Minoru's startner was an male ekans, now arbok.
-He captured her because they shared the same feeling; wanting to catch females attention and failing.
-Even if Minoru is "worse" than arbok therefore he keeps Minoru in check.
-Arbok is the gentleman type with females.
Momo Yaoyorozu:
Tumblr media
-Momo's startner is a ditto.
-I made an entire post about Momo in a pokèmon AU therefore I'll make this a resume.
-She caught a ditto in his garden, but her parent decided to still give her an eevee.
I hope you liked them. Thanks for requesting!

They live inside us Tubi
This movie starts out with a fun ghost story opening of two boys stopping in front of the local spooky house. They tell scary stories about it setting the mood of what's to come. Then in a generic spooky fashion they are scared off by a shadow in the window. We're then greeted with the two main characters of the movie a man and his daughter. I find it weird that he would leave his sleeping daughter in the car while he checks out the spooky house. But We progress through the film with the dad telling the girl about how their only going to be there for him to write his story. The dialogue between the two is filled with compassion and understanding but also the normal troupe of teenage daughter hating parents but also missing the dead parent. I love the parts where he has to write his stories, I thought this was the most fun. They literally change the tone and now the viewer is in his story with deep synth wave music and film grain. The lighting was dark and spooky. It really set the mood of a scary book. As we watch these stories we also are shown his writers block. The character stops and we are then dropped in to a new story but this is also stopped abruptly. The dad then starts hallucinationing horrific visions. Shadows that shouldn't be there, noises with no source. I wondered how sane this man was. He must had been very grief stricken if he was easily subdued to insanity as this. That day there is an argument between the two about going trick or treating. The girl wishes the mom would take her and in a twisted fashion the father yells at her about how she was the reason the mother died and how he had to take care of her now. That took me aback and forced the viewer to hate the dad after that. He is the villian now and everything that happens after that he deserves. He tries to make it up with his daughter promiseing her they will go just give him time to write. As this story progress the dad and the viewer are lost wondering if he is in fact in reality or just his story. He loses his daughter running through the neighborhood but seemingly making no progression. There is a horrible progression as he finds a body in a tub of water. He doesn't know who it is as it's hidden under a white sheet with eye holes cut out. We are left to wonder if it's possibly his daughter as it's the same costume he had made her. But he sees the feet are bloated and green and the eyes are white glazed as of death. He is scared away and chased by this Gastly fiend to his daughters room. He starts to wonder really as to where she is and apparently the key he had used to lock the door also held a clue? I honestly don't think we ever explored this clue as we follow him instead to the basement and some how it's much bigger then what is needed in a house. But this is the point as He relieves he is now in his own gruesome story as he finds his clown character. In a true horror story fashion he is chased through his house then is thrown in to a barn chased by his scarecrow character and then finally we are at the first story but the masked killer doesn't come after him. He then finds himself at his house once more! And his daughter dead in a tub of water. And that woman he had been writing this whole time? Apparently she was real and the daughters care taker. He reveals the true story by calling the police on himself and telling the operator everything. He was there in the writing room but also so was that woman he was writing she was in love with him and killed his daughter so he could be free. But he killed her. And then we find him at his writing desk, his wife and daughter waiting for him to join them in death. And as it fades to black all we know if he actually joins them or not with only a gunshot.
Scary visuals - the hallucinations he succumbs to are truly terrifying but they are also a bit generic. 3/5
Gore - the makeup for the masked killer and the killer clown makes up most of this gore. The masked killer has splattered blood and a gory backside. And the killer clown's make up is frightening, there is nothing fun loving about him. His nose looks bitten off. And there is a man he is holding hostage with cut out eyes, nose and mouth. But this make up looks like hamburger meat painted on him. 3/5
Supernatural effects - if your hoping for alot then keep holding your breath. All there is shadows. 2/5
Character development - the only good development that I liked was the characters facial expressions. We watch him get spooked and confused throughout the movie. 4/5
Story cohesiveness - it felt like they really tried wrapping the ending in a great big bow. He spiral in to madness as he succumbs to his own terrible writing and realizing he was the monster along. 4/5
Campy - I loved the campy feeling in the beginning. The boys telling the scary story and then the father and daughter watching a silly Halloween local show. It relaxed the viewer in to thinking this was going to be silly and funny. 5/5
Overall acting - I feel the acting was really through the father's expression. There was little dialogue and everything came through with only his spiral madness. 5/5.
Horror titties - there was no nudity in this. The woman wore a flowy white summer dress that only showed her her breasts. 2/5
Overall 4/5 I would rewatch this.
