Pondering the death of Web 2.0 and the big name socials. Ultimately I'm torn between feeling like it would be a net positive for both the world and me if these sites died, and the fact that I'd be even more socially isolated in the short term without them. But joy is fleeting in this life and sometimes you gotta just sit back and savor watching the world's richest man do the world's longest pratfall down the world's tallest staircase while he does the Goofy yodel.

“I still pick flowers with you in my dreams. And you smile. You laugh. You dance with me in the emerald fields. I wonder if you keep my letters under your pillow. I wonder if you still sit by the lake and remember the sunsets we spent in each other’s arms.”
