can i use gai if im a genderqueer cis woman? im not attracted to guys in a straight way
Gai is being "gay in a non-binary way". One of the idealizers of the concept considered to phrase it as "queer in a non-binary way". It seems similar to how diamoric is used. Pretty sure the definition is inclusive of all genderqueer people as well, if they wish to be included as such.
I'm not the coiner though. But for me, you're fine being gai.

Time is a flat-fucking circle when it comes to toxic YouTube Channel fandoms on the internet in certain places of different social media platforms with stereotypically imagined teenage-fangirl based audiences and the ones who made the videos who happened to have a bff of some sort who was also a man(Examples:PewDieCry, Phan, Septiplier, DreamNotFound and probably more if I really do look for it for atleast 20 minutes atleast but I don't want to because my government-selected FBI agent spying on my from my camera monitor probably would think I'm a loser then lmao). Like, what was with the normalization of shipping real people during those years on other social media platforms like wtf??I partially blame Amino for that somewhat since it seems like that of the app(I know I am not making sense except in my dying and empty brain that refuses to properly function 99 percent of the time but still)Also like, remember when Amino wad still somewhat considered a normal-ish fandom related app that a bunch of YouTubers who had sponsorships for it advertised like it was the next best thing since sliced bread??Ahh memories...Anyways, please stop making queerbaity fanfictions and fanart of irl content creators of any capacity and no I don't care if they're "comfortable" with it or not. It's still weirdo behavior, dumbass...

If you don't know, take your best guess
Immediate family is your parents and siblings, and that's it. No grandparents, cousins, aunts, nephews, etc. No in-laws, either. I'm also not counting the immediate family you may have made as an adult (children and spouses).
Adoptive and step family count.
I want to see how common it is to have multiple queer people in the same family.

the reason why you can't define gay as "man loving man", or define lesbian as "woman loving woman", or define trans as "person who has dysphoria and identifies as the 'opposite' gender " is because all queer identities defy being defined in a reductive, singular statement. the entire point of these identities are that they cannot fit inside the rigid boxes of what gender, sexuality & expression "should" be according to our societies.
people with these identities will always break the rules. we will always blur the lines and exist outside of the boundaries you set around us. you can't try to force us into boxes and hard definitions all over again, we intrinsically defy them no matter what.
