Can we please invent a word that defines individuals who are both a nerd and a geek?

I was reading the comments section of a post about a sixteen year old girl who went to watch Star Wars so much so she could create her Halloween costume - cosplay (you might have seen it). The post was generally about shutting down the idea that females can't be geeks.

At some point in the comments there was a small thread with two individuals talking about being labeled either a geek or a nerd. With the idea that maybe they were a "little more geek and less nerd."

Here's the thing:

Knowledge about any topic, be it math or fandom is always evolving. It can't stay constant regardless if a thing was fact and now isn't. Knowledge or "smarts" comes in a vast array of topics and neither is superior to the other. Ever.

You can be mathematics smart, science smart, literary smart, street smart, musically smart, artist smart, space smart, food smart, history smart, agriculture smart.

The list is wonderfully endless ♥

And the best part is that even if you aren't "smart" about a topic, you can learn to be. It's never too late to learn something new or evolve your understanding around a topic you are already versed in.

With that in mind, can we PLEASE invent a word that occupies the truth of being exactly who we all really are.

A nerd and a geek.

He sat there, blood on his face, his hands, looking like a true berserker.

He laughed, scratching the side of his head with the axe and you had to admit, seeing him like this turned you on.

Especially when he'd started shouting at the opposition about who he was.

You picked your lips as you walked towards him, his mouth curving into a wicked grin when he saw you.

He dropped his axe, watching as you walked to where he sat and you pulled up your dress, straddling him, his gloves hands on your bare thighs.

You brought your mouth to his and you felt him groan into your mouth, fingers digging into your thighs as he held you tight.

You moved off him, standing, before you reached down to his trousers, pulling them down as best you could and himself free.

"Blood lust, Y/N?" He grinned and then gasped as he felt your already wet walls clenching around him.

"Fuck." He groaned and you brought your mouth to his jaw and he tilted his head back, letting you suck and bite his neck, his hands tight on your thighs, your hips rocking against his.

"Ivar... Ivar, oh gods... More..."

His hand left your thigh, reaching for your throat as he wrapped his hands around it. Your hips moved faster, whimpering as you could feel yourself getting higher and higher.

"That's it. That's it... Come on Y/N." Ivar urged and you clamped around him, coming fast and you felt him sputter inside you, hot and heavy and he relaxed his grip on your throat as you lent your forehead against his.

"You looked like a fucking god, I couldn't not take you."

"Even with the blood?" Ivar grinned.

"Even with the blood." You grinned and Ivar groaned as you rolled your hips again.

You'd help him wash after this next round, but for now, you just needed another fuck with bloodied God...

Even with the blood? Of fucking course Ivar even with the blood. Hot fucking damn.
