I've got a question to whomever can answer. So I got a gel curing lamp / UV LED lamp for Christmas and was just able to use it because I realized I needed a base coat polish and top coat polish and my local store didn't have any so I had to order some and they just came in. Well after watching a few videos on how to properly do gel nails I did my own and not even 2 days in and most all of them have peeled off.
So my question is, why??? The color polish bottle says it should last up to 2 weeks. Not 2 days. I prepped my nails like they said to do in the videos. I applied the polish in the right order. Base, color, and top coat. I cured it for the right amount of time. So how do I prevent my gel nails from peeling so fast?
The main reason I wanted a gel lamp is because I love my nails painted but hate the waiting time for polish to dry. So I thought the lamp does it quick and that's a good option for me. But now I don't know if I like it beings my manicure isn't lasting at all.
