Heeey, what's your opinion of the current London les mis cast?

i love them!

the current west end is probably my favourite cast of les mis like ever and a lot of the performers in it are my favourite versions of that character (ill list a few under the cut, because this is my favourite thing to talk about thank you!)

all in all its a really really strong cast with a lot of really strong understudies too and i’ll be so sad to see them go :(

some of my cast highlights!! 

Dean Chisnall is by far my favourite valjean, he has the worlds strongest dad energy and also I saw him hold the bring him home end note for 21 seconds and like,, hot damn 

James Hume(1st cover javert) is my favourite javert! he’s really everything i look for in a javert (i prefer them like, gruffer as opposed to the kind of slimy smarmy javert bradley jaden plays - even though he’s also very good!) and i hope i manage to see him again 

Carley Stenson is, flawless. I don’t even have more to say she’s just phenomenal as Fantine.

Steven Meo was literally born to play thenardier, he’s hysterical

AMARA OKEREKE IS THE MOST PERFECT COSETTE - she has the most gorgeous voice and her cosette is so likeable and she has incredible chemistry with toby miles - they play their romance as almost giddy and its probably the most i’ve ever believed a marius and cosette could fall in love that fast

Toby Miles is just a phenomenal Marius aside from cosette, he’s really found how to make the character special and not just a bit of a wet blanket as some marius’s can be. His Empty Chairs kills me every time, and also he’s always in tears after Eponine’s death and it really shows his commitment to the role. He’s so likeable and awkward and it’s the kind of Marius the world deserves. He also has like, a really interesting friendship with Grantaire? It’s very good

Speaking of Grantaire - all three are Wonderful. Shout out to Raymond Walsh, Adam Filipe and Ciaran Joyce who all have like really unique takes from each other. Ray is very angry, Adam is very sad and Ciaran is a mix of the two and a bit more silly.

Jessica Lee (1st cover Eponine) is probably my favourite Eponine I’ve seen recently (I saw Eva Noblezada in 2016 but can’t really remember that show too well), she’s really scrappy but confident and I really like that

Elena Skye is also an amazing Eponine, I think she comes off better when you see her than in audios - she’s also very scrappy but has a sort of awkward vibe especially around Marius and I love her. Also that girl can Belt hot damn

Sometimes Vivien Parry does a high note in Master of the House and its amazing, she’s also so funny

The other principals Samuel Edwards (Enjolras), Bradley Jaden (Javert) are really really good. Sam’s really grown into the role and gets better every time! I think he really captures the balance between a stern Enjolras and an Enjolras who loves his friends and is very fond of their antics, whereas a lot of Enjolrai go for a solely angry boy, this is a really nice change! The more I get used to Bradley’s Javert the more I like him - his Javert’s Suicide is phenomenal

THE WHOLE ENSEMBLE IS KILLER, but a select few:

Sam Harrison in particular is a highlight as Bamatbois, that character sucks but Sam nails it

Katie Kerr can do whatever she wants and I’ll be grateful, she’s so much fun

Adam Bayjou has been the Factory Foreman for like four years, and has understudied Valjean the whole time and he’s so damn talented.

Also, Joe Vetch who plays Feuilly and is a Wonderful Enjolras understudy.

Ciaran Joyce is a great tiny lil Montparnasse, and I couldn’t care less about Montparnasse so that’s saying something

So yes, I love this cast so much, maybe too much haha - thank you if you read all of this! This is just scraping the surface of my love, so thanks for putting up with me!

31. Whats the best book or series you’ve ever read?

Well, im gonna be honest with you… I dont read a lot of *book* books anymore, I mostly read fanfics…

But the best book I’ve recently read is The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily Danforth. I read it during my junior year of hs and it was the first LGBT book I ever read and it just has a special place in my heart for that reason. it’s an amazing story about love and heartbreak and dealing with homophobia, and it’s just a great story overall

it’s also been made into a movie (that I have yet to watch)

if we wanna talk about fanfiction, which is what I’ve been reading a lot more of these days… there are so many talented writers in this fandom, to list all my favorite fics would take AGES 

to make a long story short, my top 3 wicked fics are “Learn me Right” by @lily-onher-grave, “Walls of Sanctuary” by @wickedlyqueer and pretty much anything that @gelphieandfluff writes

there are so many more amazing fics by amazing authors, this is just the tip of the iceberg! I could literally spend DAYS in the gelphie tag on ao3, thats how much amazing content there is.

Hi! I'm new to the Wicked (or any musical) fandom, and I'm looking for more Wicked blogs to follow. I was wondering if you could recommend some? I'm really enjoying your blog so far!

oooohhhh boy ok. i’ve followed a LOT of blogs and i have like a million on notifs bc i went crazy with it when i first got into the fandom. (which wasnt even a year ago lmao)

@one-short-gay and @mean-green-thing are fantastic. love them. love all the ones i’ve already recommended too.

There arent enough Fiq (Fiyerboq if you prefer) headcanons out there so I'm here to provide.

Fiyero, of course, has diamond tattoos on his arms and hands, and when they're cuddling Boq likes to trace them with his finger cause it calms him down. Fiyero loves it, because his diamonds have always been something that disconnected him from everyone at shiz, they were something everyone considered "foreign" but Boq loves his diamonds and thinks they're really pretty, and even that small thing makes fiyero feel so much more like he belongs. (I already sent an ask about this one to @gelphieandfluff on my main account, but I figured I'd expand on it cus I love it sm)

Boq puts zero(0) sugar or cream in his coffee. He drinks it black. And it honeslty scares Fiyero a little bit

》 "yeah. It's about as bitter as Miss Hemming's soul. She gave me a long ass essay to do and I need this energy."

Fiyero has Very Long Hair. Thankfully, Boq has several sisters and is a master at braiding hair, so he constantly braids fiyeros hair.

Speaking of hair! Boq has curly hair. Fiyero heccin loves it and will constnsly run his hands through Boq's hair and play with it, sadly, Boq's hair is too short to braid.

Fiyero is the Neat and tidy one of he two of them, so if Boq leaves his stuff out, Fiyero will clean it up. The issue with that is; he almost always leaves the stuff where Boq cant reach it.

》"and I told you to stop leaving them on the table so I guess we're even!"

Boq only likes being picked up by Fiyero, if anyone else tries to then he'll complain, but he trusts Fiyero so he let's him (it's also because he likes it when Fiyero holds him but he'll never admit that)

A lot of people just kinds assume that Boq is the one who can cook. That is wrong. Completely incorrect. Boq tried make eggs once and they tasted like fish vomit. Fiyero, however, Is a great cook and Boq cannot figure out how and when he learned to cook.

Boq cant braid his hair. But!! He can do very small pig tails and it's the cutest fuccin thing.

Fiyero is very protective of his friends and cares for them deeply. So everytime Boq gets sick or hurt, Fiyero is by his side like "are you okay? Are you sure you dont need a doctor? Do you need anything?" And while Boq finds it a little annoying, he also finds it very endearing.

Okay, now for the angst. Because I'm me.

Boq's family had no idea that Fiyero and Boq were dating for a very long time because Boq was not out yet. And when he did "come out" it was not of his own free will. Over the summer break he and Fiyero had been writing to eachother. His mom found some of the letters while cleaning the house. Unfortunately, she had stumbled upon the letters that had gotten slightly romantic (they said 'I love you' or 'I miss kissing you' things like that)

She and Boq's dad sat him at the kitchen table and told him they'd found the letters. A very long and very loud argument ensued. Boq went back to Shiz the next morning.

When fiyero returned from his summer break, Boq nearly had a breakdown because he had been so stressed. He cried the whole time he told Fiyero about the argument.

Thankfully, Fiyero is a very understanding person, and a good listener. He knew Boq just needed a shoulder to cry on. And a promise that he'd be fine. And that's exactly what fiyero provided him with. As well as a kiss and a promise that he'd be there for him no matter what.

And that's everything! That took me all day because I've been very tired and am having trouble doing the words. Anyways, enjoy.

um so I love you guys??? ive only been here a few months but like somehow ive already hit 400 followers??? which is AMAZING?

like ive had my main blog since 2014 and i only have like 470 followers there so like...... i feel like this blog could easily surpass my main in terms of followers....
