Avocato likes when Gary is caring since he was a general and wasn't allowed to be soft. He tries to treat Gary the same way, knowing ventraxians can be a bit rough (and also unaware that Gary is into it)

Theire both sort of inexperienced- Avocato with males and Gary overall, having never gone to school to learn about sex and stuff. They both learn together.

Gary is used to shoulder things alone even if he doesn't realize it. Sometimes Avocato will be there, helping him without him taking notice

Avocato loves when Gary's neck goes red (he just wants to bite it)

Gary's favourite spot to sleep is against Avocato's chest so he can feel the heartbeat (also tits)

Avocato is always checking Gary's ass out

Shadow is Quinn in this AU, since I think he parallels her story best!

Tails is Little Cato, and Knuckles is Avocato! I'm thinking I'll mostly align it with the Movie versions of the characters-- So Knuckles grew up in battle arenas, and eventually was forced to become a bounty hunter himself. And so he ends up taking care of Tails before Sonic is in the picture. (Sonic would have been being raised by Tom long before he was in the first movie-- and its a more advanced Earth, so mobians and aliens in general are more common-- so there wouldn't have been the same conflicts present that they faced in the SCU)

Basically this is meant to be the view of a town in Tallinn, as I have to admit the looks of it were rather eerie at night.

After Ratchet disappeared under "mysterious" circumstances, Gary took it upon himself to find his adoptive brother. Even after an argument, Gary still wanted to go and find his brother in order to forgive him. Even if it meant destroying himself from the inside.

Avocato isn't around, neither Quinn or Clank. Or even Mooncake. Just Gary himself going on to save his brother.

Also his hair has grown a bit lel. It has been a while since he started to travel.

The interesting point is that at the hotel where I stayed at I heard the song "Mama" by Genesis from the show above, which might partially fit the story.

So if you don't minde asking, how the king and queen were in the Epilogue AU? I see a lots of takes where they weren't really good people/rulers because they were fleeing the planet instead of staying and fighting but since you said you are taking a different path from what everyone normally do and since Little Cato takes his birth name, i not sure about your take on them.

Well I feel they definitely weren’t perfect like most other peoples interpretations! The war was obviously pointless bloodshed that tore apart their whole planet and they made no attempts to stop it, but the war had also probably been going on since even before their time since it was over 1000 years long. My guess is every generation of Ventrexian royalty’s primary goal was to end the war once and for all by any means necessary (peace was never brought into the equation though ironically that grudge would not be dropped easily). I also kind of hc that Ventrexian royalty is not where the most power truly lies but instead with Ventrexia’s top generals. Royalty acted more as a figure for Ventrexia’s power and wealth with only as much influence as the council/generals allowed them to have.

The king and queen obviously knew well enough to resist the Lord Commander otherwise he wouldn’t have had Avocato kill them to gain complete control of Ventrexia. Since Avocato was once of their top generals and he had already agreed to work for the LC, the king, queen and their followers were the last things resisting his control.

As for Little Cato, I feel like the king and queen were amazing parents but really awful leaders. Big difference. They were fleeing the planet in order to protect him. They adored their little prince and spoiled him for the brief time they had him. Little Cato finds evidence of that in the castle and is told by multiple witnesses (people who worked with/knew the king and queen beforehand).

The king and queen had failed their people when it came to the Tryvulian war and died holding that grudge against the Tryvulians, but they tried making a difference by resisting the Lord Commander’s insane, power hungry schemes.
