Lex: The best part of an Oreo is the black cookie part and not the white frosting part, deal with it.
MacNamara: Darkness without light is an abyss. Light without darkness is blinding. You cannot have a coin with one side.
Lex: Yo Socrates, it’s a fucking cookie.

Pokey and controlling the narrative
TGWDLM is a story that has a narrative that is very much controlled by Pokey. He has a set main character, and certain character archetypes and goals, for both the story and the characters. This is most obviously demonstrated in the opening number where the Hive (Pokey) lets us know exactly who are main character is.
It's Paul. He's a grinch and a grump and he's boring and that's because he doesn't like musicals. Which is a bad thing. He should join their hive, their singing season.
We're also introduced to Emma. To Pokey, she's the love interest, and that's it. Her introduction is just "Oh he pines after a cute lil barista. Isn't that worth a show stopping fiesta, yeah?" This says nothing about her, just her relation to Paul.
When Paul and Emma talk to each other later in Hidgens bunker, that developed their relationship, but Pokey didn't want that. He let the conversation go on long enough for the audience to like Paul and Emma, and for Paul to continue to develop his want. But they were interrupted. Literally. When Emma goes, "Listen, Paul, I-" they're interrupted by the Hive
Something that I do find interesting is General Macnamara. He very clearly gets Paul to say what his want is. "Friends don't move my heart son, is there a chance at something more?" "I want there to be" This is despite the fact that he's not infected yet, so I'm not sure why he'd so obviously push for Paul's want.
I'm not entirely sure what I'm trying to get at here, but the point is, Pokey works to control the narrative throughout the whole show. I think it would've been interesting to see the other characters introduced in the opening song, because I bet they would've been reduced to simple one dimensional character tropes, because I think that's how Pokey sees all of them. If anyone else wants to add on, I'd love to see everyone's thoughts.

I firmly believe that general macnamara has no concept of personal space (and is very physically affectionate)
you want proof you say? rewatch literally any of the scenes he’s in, he’s always making physical contact with someone and doesn’t seem to notice if the other person looks mildly uncomfortable

So I noticed someone point out that in Black Friday Xander is wearing a crystal pendant necklace- specifically an amethyst. And this user pointed out that amethyst boosts psychic powers and also protects the wearer.
And like now I am thinking, does Xander believe in metaphysical properties of crystals? Does he practice witchcraft?
My headcanon is that peip sometimes works with Miss Holloway or other witches like her.
Also because I have a theory about Miss Holloway sorta travelling forward in time in the b&w. So that could explain how they met her.
Miss Holloway and MacNamara would be a really cool duo.

I tried posting this earlier but because of how I formatted it, it was only showing up on my page so I’m trying again.

Wow I loved the Yellow Jacket ending! It was so cool when PEIP busted into the roller rink and MacNamara shot Charles when he was trying to take Hannah and Lex, then he told Hannah and Lex how Charles was a rogue ex-PEIP agent and they had been trying to infiltrate the roller rink but Pokotho had been hiding them, but Lex killed Pokey so everything’s okay and PEIP is going to protect Hannah and Lex now!

When planning a visit to the Black and White, do make sure you coordinate with all your alternate timeline selves in order to avoid a painful singularity event. --- This has nothing to do with anything that's actually happened in the story of Hatchetfield. Just an idea I had.
Courtesy @hatchetfieldtheories It's not quite the angel we discussed, but it's still born from the idea.

Two different anons requested these characters, so I combined them and made them extra
