Name: Ouyang ShuoLan 欧阳烁婪 (to have a bright perspective on the world)

Gender: Female

General appearance: Pretty, ShuoLan adores the colour green and purple, which thankfully given the fact their Sect leans more towards a certain style of robe for the men more than a colour, she’s free to wear what she wants. Often, she’s known to be a little bit flamboyant, wearing clashing colors together, or not quite matching up her accessories with the robes. She doesn’t really care. Her individualistic style is often shown through her hair as well, known for having big loops of braids and buns. Heh. What are her parents going to do about it?

Personality: Straightforward and honest, ShuoLan wont pretend to like things she doesn't like, especially as a child. She’s fast to call out the hypocrisy of pretending to like things, or tolerating things that you don’t like to make other people happy. Though, she can often take it too far. Constantly unimpressed by people, but at the same time constantly questioning  things. A lot of things in her opinion are stupid or how the world works is stupid and clearly yall are making bad choices. The attitude softens the older she gets.

Special Talents: Sword fighting - she is her fathers daughter.

Who they like better: Both. ShuoLan adores her parents. As a kid, dad was always the go to. Zizhen is an absolute pushover with the children. He will do anything. He will give them anything they want. Kids want sweets, they ask dad. Kids want a new toy, they ask dad. Kids want something but mum said no, they ask dad and tell dad that mum told them to ask dad. Though Zizhen catches onto that one fast when his wife first hits the roof. Mum was who you run to when something is wrong. Mum can fix anything. Mum will end anyone that hurts the family - Dad backs her up. As she gets older ShuoLan develops a deep respect for her parents and their relationship. They set a high boundary for anyone who she falls in love with.

Who they take after more: Both, Zizhen and WenRou share so many traits anyway. ShuoLan is kind, compassionate, and yet critical. Capable of a high level of critical thinking, she can problem solve her way out of most things, and also, problem solve a lot herself. It makes her pretty good night hunter and she continues on the family tradition when old enough.

Personal headcanon: She was clingy as a child. A little selfish. When her younger sisters were born she was not happy, then, the realisation that they were more vulnerable than most changed everything. ShuoLan will shank anyone that hurts her sisters.
