#posts in a drainage system #still. undyne's death monologue in genocide is really cool tbh #because really. we dont know how many monsters alphys managed to evacuate. we dont know how big the underground really is #there are ABSOLUTELY parts of it that you never explore in game and thats so wild to me. like.#even though alphys isn't fighting you directly she's probably one of the most important people in the narrative during the genocide run #and yet . none of it really matters in the end. does it #because by the end of genocide you have to make the decision to kill them all in the blink of an eye—as youve been doing the entire game—#or try to convince yourself in one last desperate act that you werent guilty for any of this by letting chara erase the world instead.#the final choice of the genocide run honestly makes me so wacky. like man . i could go ON about that shit #anyways this was about undynes speech. but yeah its a perfect example of dramatic irony for people familiar with the story #and if you aren't. youve probably become dissociated from your feelings about these characters if youve gotten this far into the geno run #BUT this speech is still so powerful. like maybe the monsters WILL find away to live on after this. even after their families and way of #life have been completely destroyed. even though that's the complete OPPOSITE of what youre trying to achieve during genocide #agh . such a good game

Dream has a soft spot for twins. He sees twins an gets nostalgic n sad/ most people portray ink as evil-soulless guy thats lying but i think he'd mostly be happy and having fun with life/I personally cannot see ink or classic as anything BUT aroace. I physically cannot. / when people touch error they lose their lineart and it feels soo weird. Kinda like when a hand falls asleep. / most afterdeath kids dont have the death touch, but a few like greape, anubis, or ancolie do/ nightmare isnt the nightmare dream grew up with. Hes literally a different person- a sorta parasite that took over passives body through the apples/ to go along with that last one nm and fresh resent each other. Fresh has fun with it, but nightmare hates his entire being and sees him a threat./ error is soo silly. Literally just having fun with himself until someone comes along n messes it up by having opinions or existing.

first I will say I love these headcanons/opinions these are great !!!! spinning these around in my brain. now for if they match up with my own B) all interpretations are valid interpretations Dream and twins: I've actually been thinking about something similar lately!! In my mind, its almost a trigger for him? If he sees two identical twins it Will make him think about his past, if not just make him feel..... sad. feel as if he's missing something. Ink isn't evil?: I 100% AGREE. you. you understand him. he's just a silly guy living his life. i personally like putting him in situations that reveal his morality (which, to others in the multiverse, appears grey. in short, he's a character who has the morality of a creator. there's more to it. but, hes interesting! he's interesting). I like exploring all angles of him and his views and morality and character and bwghkrgbirhwbg but really hes just a guy. just a guy having a good time yknow. or trying. AroAce Ink & Sans Classic: I pretty much fully agree with this, just with the change that I can't see them as being anything but on the aroace spectrum. I see Sans as biromantic asexual, bi aroace, or aroace. Ink is the one who I often just see as aroace, and really more often just see him as just that. Error's touch causing loss of lineart: I haven't ever thought of this before but I LOVE IT SM. will be thinking of this.... I also like the idea of physical touch not just hurting Error but affecting whoever touched them.

AfterDeath kids and Death's Touch: I actually don't know a lot about AfterDeath ship kids! So, I haven't really thought much about them. I do think that any kids of reaper and geno would have something weird around death though, maybe not death touch but something similar. Nightmare isn't Nightmare?: I actually really don't like Nightmare and passive not being the same person. Personally, I feel like there is a way you could rewrite Dreamtale to make it work better, but it would have to be a significant rewrite (which people do and I love it when they do). It just feels like... something often gets lost with Nightmare's story when he isn't the same person, at least in some way. I personally like the idea that Nightmare himself doesn't see himself as passive. He sees himself as having killed that part of him, or something like that. Or, I can see Nightmare having dissociated away from that part of himself. Or, I can see Nightmare being like "yeah I'm nightmare I'm the nightmare you knew, Dream. this is what you've done, this is what you've made". In any case, they are the same person in at least some way to me. Nightmare and Fresh resent each other: This is really cool with the idea of both Nightmare and Fresh being parasites. It's not a headcanon I have, since I don't see Nightmare that way. I think Nightmare is just kinda mildly annoyed by Fresh- Fresh thinks Nightmare is fun to mess with. Nm rarely ever destorys aus (because he needs aus to feed on) so Fresh doesn't see him as a threat. Error is silly: YES. well. ok. sometimes. Error takes his job seriously..... sometimes..... like cq has said Error is contradictory he doesn't make sense he's not supposed to make sense. I think sometimes Error's silly with it sometimes he's not. overall he is just a silly guy though !!

MASSIVE INFODUMP ABOUT THE CQ TRIO (Fresh, Geno, and Error) UNDER THE CUT!

i love them sm (some stuff might be wrong this is all from memory)

okay so the cq trio is 3 sanses that i adore to the maxium. CQ stands for Crayon Queen, who was the one who created all three! cq trio gets its nickname mainly from her, but i also call them that because of a fancomic called mcq (momma cq) that had them all as brothers, since they are all from the same creator. Fresh was the first to be made iirc, and he was created as a random one on a stream cq did. His nickname is also 90s piece of trash! He is not technically a sans, just a parasite that possesses other monsters, though it prefers skeletons bcs he can crawl thru their sockets, so they are easier to posses (this also allows for so many fusions of fresh and others, like fresh ink! who i hate (lovingly). Geno n error are the other 2, and are entirely linked. Geno was a classic sans who went through a ton of genocide runs, and in tryinf to stop them injected himself with determination ( which is. very bad for monsters.) he basically starts melting and gets killed again but. is able to use a save star to enter the save screen. freezing him in time so hes stuck between dying and not. He has an entire comic (search up aftertale if u wanna read ut which i highly recommend i love it sm) but he basically has 3 main outcomes; the common one in fanon but also in canon ending, where hes stuck in the save screen forever, the good ending which is the comics canon end, where he escapes the savescreen without dying and gets to live on the surface eith the rest of the undertale cast. and the half official canon ending? (i say half bcs it was never fully realized but. was confirmed to be going to happen by cq) where he does escape to the surface but messes around with his determination, accidently sending himself to the antivoid, where he glitches out, which wipes out his entire memory. WHICH BRINGS US THE 3RD BOY AND MY FAV FOR THE LONGEST (jazz hands),,,,, ERROR!!!!

Although his comic was never finished, cq confirmed he was intended to be geno in the past, though he doesnt remember it! He lives in the save screen and answes the voices (tumblr blog asks) to talk! hes. kinda insane but in a silly way! and is the self proclaimed destroyer of worlds! who assigned him this job? why, himself of coarse! and he is providing the multiverse with a great love by doing this (no he is not). hes self centered, has really bad mood swings, sees and hears things others cant (though they are real, others just cant see them), dissociates whenever he talks on certain things, and is overall! not okay! i love him so fucking much holy shit. so he has his own tumblr ask thing (which theres like an hour long dub on yt if u wanna watch it) but basically what it mostly shows is, he loves chocolate (he eats it with the wrapper on. he also has. 6 tongues? iirc) he also loves puppets! and makes puppets of different au sanses! and talks to them as if they are. people. mayber they are! idk! although he destroys aus he has a soft spot for 2, outertale because he loves the space and the stars, and undernovela, his favourite spanish soap opera au! (he does not speak spanish. nore does he get subtitles. hes quite literally stalking these people through portals and calling it a show.) he also has magic strings! which he uses to take the human souls from aus he destroys so they cant reset. he didnt always have them though :)

but he doesnt remember that! hes so so silly i lvoe him so much.

oh also he kidnapped and underswap sans and forced him to stay in the antivoid and the blue, kinda started to befriend him? but uh. he mad error mad so error left him alone in the void until blue started to glitch and hear the voices as well. though he still cant see the random tumblr blogger error left tied up in the antivoid, so who knows if thats real. but enough about blue!!! we jsut love the silly man error!!!!!!!

so blue tried to teavh him how to knit while they were in the antivoid, but erros really bad at it,, like really really reallyyyyy bad at it. and he despises it. but!!! its how they start bonding!!! he also loves loves loves to rob underfell because they have amazing spicy chocolate. he also just enjoys fucking with this one underfell sans by stealing his stuff and using his au as a trash dump! said sans is not aware of this and is confused about who tf is stealing his stuff and throwing trash at him. MORE FUN ERROR FACTS!!!! He also is very near sighted (like me :3) and has glasses tho he doesnt wear them much but hes so cute in them!! he also physically glitches out like a computer when stressed or emotion or just. sometimes- and his eyes get covered by errors meanign he can't see at all, during that he liked to play one man blind cats cradle! he also if he gets too stressed or glitched he will literally crashed and have to reboot- he also has haphephobia (fear of touch) n does not like being touched a lot or without warning, it makes him all glitchy as well! hes also a massive hypocrite constantly and is genuinely just. insane- but in a silly way!!!! its also heavily implied that his puppets are. the dead souls of ppl from aus, minus his sans classic, he doesnt destroy classic (aka undertale) timelines bcs its the original! but he calls the rest abominations (like underfell is abomination #13). its heavily implied bcs he called the blue he kidnapped (thats still alive. for now-) abomination #11 ! he also talked to his puppets like they are other people although he voices them- he also uses portals in a way to show past events to show his memories(?)(they are his memories but he. doesnt remember them. if that makes sense.) ALSO WITH HIS STRINGS!! IF HE GRABS THE SOULS OF LIVING BEINGS (LIKE BLUE) HE CAN PUPPETEER THEM AND USE THEIR BODY AND MAGIC TO ATTACK! WHICH IS. TERRIFYING!! Hes also like. deathly afraid of Fresh n despises him with his whole soul

They say eyes are a window to your soul.

Eyes have great symbolism in OPM. Saitama is so very often drawn with very simple eyes, except when he gets Serious and his eyes change from simple to more expressive.

What do other people have to say about Saitama's eyes? Crablante said he has same lifeless eyes as he does. The implication left unsaid that Saitama also has same eyes as a monster. Void of humanity. No humanity means no heart, no emotions.

In cd drama, internet fan comment says that Saitama has the "eyes of a dead fish", which is a japanese expression for depressed and unmotivated.

Genos: “I don’t remember this guy.” “Nothing special.” “Eyes of a dead fish.”

But there is also another thing. The thousand-yard stare.

The thousand-yard stare or two-thousand-yard stare is a phrase often used to describe the blank, unfocused gaze of combatants who have become emotionally detached from the horrors around them. It is sometimes used more generally to describe the look of dissociation among victims of other types of trauma.

When recounting his arrival in Vietnam in 1965, then-Corporal Joe Houle (director of the Marine Corps Museum of the Carolinas in 2002) said he saw no emotion in the eyes of his new squad: "The look in their eyes was like the life was sucked out of them," later learning that the term for their condition was "the 1,000-yard stare". "After I lost my first friend, I felt it was best to be detached," he explained.

In the latest chapter, you can very clearly see the depiction of a thousand-yard stare, masterfully done.

And the only time his eyes are not completely blown wide, completely empty or darkened by shadows during this entire chapter, is when he looks at Genos core.

Because that is the only time when he is not emotionally detached and dissociating during this entire chapter.

He's not just "not feeling excited" about fighting Garou.

He's not feeling anything at all. But complete detachment.

Death lusts for him

haunts the new hospital

Geno was the oldest of three children born to his single mother with a sperm donor, and was mostly a very normal child. Not the most social, but had a group of close friends, smart and generally well liked.

He loved his mother, and, when his younger brothers came along, loved them just as much. He was almost like another parent to them.

Until one day, he drops to the floor, and clutches at his chest where his soul would be.

He's rushed to hospital, and is diagnosed with a rare disorder, which essentially caused his magic, and therefore, his soul - to attack itself. Causing it to break down and melt away. They'd never seen this before, and had no idea how to treat it. He was diagnosed as terminal after 3 years of living with it, and was given around 12 years left to live.

He was in and out of hospital all the time, almost every week he was there because something went wrong, or he couldn't breath. And he eventually became very stressed with this, it only worsening his condition, and so asked his family to stop sending him for every little thing, if the illness took him early, that's okay, he just wanted to enjoy the life he still has left.

He didn't have what people would call a Bucket List, he just wanted to enjoy all that he already had. Spending time with family, sitting outside in the garden, reading books he hadn't finished yet, and so forth.

In his later years, Geno seemed to almost fall in love with death, wearing red a lot, things with gory designs on them, and always joked about his death. He saw something almost beautiful in it, something that he had excepted would happen, and saw humour in that - much to the displeasure of his own family, who teared up whenever he did, and he tried to turn it down a bit for them, but he didn't completely, because it was a part of him now, he was going to die, and he had excepted that.

Geno was rushed into hospital two days before his death, because he had collapsed and passed out, parts of his skull dusting away very quickly, and his family were terrified. He tried to stay calm for his family, and play it off as if this was just a normal hospital trip for them, but they all knew what was happening, that this was it.

Geno died while asleep, Error clutching his had as he passed. When he opened them again, he was confused as to why they were all sobbing, until he looked down and saw the dusty bed below him.

He goes to comfort them instinctively, reaching for his mother, and when he passed through her, she gripped at the shirt over her chest, panicked, Geno immediately lets go, fearing that maybe he'd passed on his illness? But, she seemed fine as soon as he'd let go.

He learns that when he walks through a living being, they feel the same pain he felt when he'd died, and he vows to himself to try and avoid people as much as possible, he didn't want anyone to have to deal with what he did.

He befriends Dream in the afterlife, the two of them being the only hospital ghosts, surprisingly. The two of them tend to people watch when they can, and make up silly stories about the people visiting them.

In the end, death really was the next big adventure.

Geno is open for questions.

I'll do Edwards first cause I have the most thought out ones for him.

Edward headcanons:

• His mom died when he was six and since he was forced to repress his grief due to his father he never really got over it. He hates talking about his mother because it's too overwhelming.

• The king of Dissociating when his problems become too much! 🤴🏾

• adhd

• has a stuttering problem. It was very bad when he was little but after speech therapy it went away and only comes out when he's very excited or nervous.

• gets along with geno very well dispite their bickering. It's only playful.

• Diabetic, and bad at taking care of himself! ^^

• Since His stepmother works most of the day and his dad is never home he's usually the one who takes care of Geno. (Homework help, snacks, taking him places, comfort ect.)

• internally monologs a lot.

• Actually very self concious but pretends to be confident to not seem weak.

• Pretty accepting actually, he's not the judgemental type to others. ( only to himself lol. )

• Terrifed when people call him gay cause his dad is very homophobic and my mans wants to continue living.

• very good at baking, him and his mom used to bake a lot and it's a comforting activity for him.

• loves sweets.

• His mom was African, but she grew up in France for most of her life, eventually coming to the U.S and meeting his father.

• He knows a lot of French because it makes him feel close to her. Issac was a bit impressed when be finds out.

• Actually very smart. I imagine he gets mostly A's.

• knows a bit of Spanish from his dad but he resents the guy so he was never interested in learning it much.

• His dad isn't kind to him cause he looks like his mom and it brings back bad memories.

• not good at accepting change or death.

• Actually very uncomfortable with the topic of sex and or sexual things. ( I've noticed anytime anyone flirts like that to him he always acts overwhelmed and uncomfortable)

• On the Ace spectrum.

• kinda iffy about touch. He doesn't break down or anything but he doesn't really like touch from people he isn't close with ( Barry, Dez, Geno ect. )

• literally can't handle failure.

• can't see without glasses but wears Contacts cause he got bullied a lot for it.

• is usually the one who keeps his friends in line and tells people off for taking bullying too far.

•once you get him to like you, he'd die for you. Very loyal.

• Def the hero type, and when he can't fulfill said role he feels useless.

• Plays guitar very well.

• was actually bullied pretty bad in gradeschool and changed himself a lot to fit in more. Basically a totally different person from when he was little.

• suprisingly good with kids because of Geno.

• really likes Video games. He and Geno bond over this.

• Gay panic if it were a person.

• he is the least wreckless out of his little jock group and that is concerning.

• His major anger issues are a direct result of his shitty homelife. His dad has them and always responded with violence so it imprinted on him.

• he doesn't hate his stepmother but he resents her a little because his father used her as a replacement for his mom.

• His powers are a lot more detailed then they seem but he just hasn't tapped their full potential yet.

• can't remember most of his childhood because of repression and also has bad memory because of this unhealthy coping mechanism.

• Hates sitting still and gets ancy when he has to stay in bed or sit for too long. It makes him depressed to not be able to run around and do things.

• Mirrors bother him for some reason. He doesn't really know why. He just doesn't like looking in them for very long.

• Dez is more like a little sister then a cousin. The two pretty much grew up together and sometimes he forgets their cousins and not siblings.

• Definitely a dog person.

• Was friends with Felix in middleschool but drama happened and now he hates his guts.

• Actually really likes being around Issac but won't admit it cause he's "a nerd"

( they're definitely self indulgent and maybe a little but of a stretch but I like them lol. )

Color!Sans Headcanons (not in order) TW! MENTIONS OF DISSOCIATION, DEREALIZATION, BLOOD, MURDER, GENOCIDE AND MAYBE OTHER TRIGGERS THAT I CANNOT IDENTIFY

Some of these are similar/the same as @howlsofbloodhounds bc they made a few hc posts that I agree with on some points. If they want me to edit out the parts that are similar to theirs, then I will.

Over the time that he was in the Void, Color’s hatred for the human eventually grew into hatred towards all humans. CORE!Frisk helped Color to not hate humanity after he left the void. Even after meeting CORE!Frisk properly, he didn’t trust them. It took him about three years of almost constant companionship to even relax around CORE!Frisk; it took a little bit longer for him to do that around other humans.

Epic and CORE!Frisk are the first people Color met when he left the void.

When he was in the void, Color was a lot like Geno: anti-social, short-tempered, cold, and pessimistic. Epic and CORE!Frisk helped Color when he first left the void so that he wasn’t as cold, angry, anti-social, and negative as he was.

I saw someone say that they think Color loves poppies, and I think he would also love forget-me-nots and he gives these to people he wants to remember him.

Epic kept bugging Color to get a house so he did to shut him up. It is in the Omega Timeline. The house is small, but Color doesn’t mind because he says it’s only a place to go to when he needs to. That means that there are mostly non-perishables in the kitchen so that nothing rots while Color’s away.

He’s a minimalist.

He likes giving gifts but doesn’t really like receiving them. He always keeps gifts though and uses them as much as possible.

Color likes strays, but he never keeps them; he lets them wander like him.

Epic gave Color a Polaroid when he found out Color has a fear of being forgotten. Color treasures it and takes photos so often that he’s become semi-professional. He puts these photos around his house and in the Chroma Realm.

He takes photos of just about everything, but he especially likes taking photos of nature. He also loves candid photos/unflattering photos. He likes how real they are.

He gives pictures of his friends and himself to his friends to ease the fear of being forgotten.

Due to losing everything once, Color is very overprotective of his friends, family, and home (he considers the Multiverse to be his actual home). Color would do anything to protect what he cares about.

He doesn’t fight a lot. (might be canon, but I’m not sure)

Color dislikes political things.

Over the time that he was in the Void, Color’s hatred for the human eventually grew into hatred towards all humans. CORE!Frisk helped Color to not hate humanity after he left the void.

He has a fear of being trapped. After spending years in an inescapable and empty void, he can’t stay in one spot long, or else he gets anxious.

Another phobia of his is confined spaces.

LOVES THE STARS AND THE SKY AND SUN AND JUST BEING OUTSIDE IF HE IS OUTSIDE HE IS SO HAPPY

Doesn’t like too much attention on him.

Color never tested his new abilities before he left the void; he didn’t want to mess with the Timeline.

When he first got to the Omega Timeline, everyone crowded him and he freaked out and teleported away. When he was freaking out from all the people, he accidentally opened a portal to an AU and fell through.

Thus began his travels✨

He still can’t really handle the Omega Timeline; people crowding him totally sets him off.

Reaper unsettles him.

Sometimes his chest and head hurt bad, kind of like phantom pains. His eyesight in his left eye sometimes also becomes either blurry or it just disappears completely.

Color can sometimes see the spirits of the six human souls he absorbed. They mostly appear when a specific trait is most prominent (i.e. PATIENCE, BRAVERY, JUSTICE, INTEGRITY, etc.) They can only talk to him, and he doesn’t believe that they’re real.

He has dissociation and derealization disorders.

The events of the Genocide Route still haunt him to this day…

He’s not sorry nor guilty for killing the human, but he is shaken by the memories of the fight (i.e., bones crunching, blood splattering).

He’s able to go back to where he was in the void with Gaster; he doesn’t visit too often though, because it might be risky.

Color lends Geno books and helps him not feel self-conscious about his melting skull. They also play chess, checkers, and other various games together.

Color encourages Killer to be nicer to others, but he never expects him to do it.

Sneaking up on Color can be difficult— not that you want to— because he’s so used to having to be hyper-aware of his surroundings. If you do manage to sneak up on him and scare him, his first reaction is to punch/attack you— Epic and Killer keep learning this the hard way.

Color’s soul is highly sought after, due to its strange nature and being a good balance of six human souls and one monster soul.

Nobody knows how many different attacks Color has; everyone always gets surprised when he uses something they haven’t seen before.

Due to being half blind, Color sometimes has a hard time using the right side of his body. He can misjudge the distance between an object and his hand, and miss it.

His friends walk on his blind side so that he doesn’t get caught by surprise when a stranger is suddenly beside him.

He is considered the leading expert in SOUL research, due to his wanting to help Killer.

He carries a journal on him with all the information about SOULS that he has collected over the years and across the Multiverse. The journal is worn down and written in Arabic so that others can’t snoop through it. Color treasures that journal a lot; it’s one of the first things he always checks for damage. He’d panic if he lost/didn’t know where it was.

Color’s handwriting is chicken scratch that sometimes he can’t even read.

He frequents certain AUs he’s particularly fond of.

Color and Killer both speak Arabic and it confuses everyone else but they love it so much.

Color avoids going to UnderTale; he doesn’t think he’s quite ready to face a Papyrus that’s almost identical to his brother.
