I am of the firm belief that Saitama rambles when he's flustered. Not embarrassed- flustered.

Like. Say he and Genos are broaching the topic of physical intimacy, a topic Saitama has 0 knowledge in. And Saitama being Saitama asks the inevitable question of "Are you... sure you wanna do this? With me? We don't- We don't have to do anything if you don't want to..."

Genos responds with: "Sensei," he holds his hands in his and gazes at him sincerely (and perhaps a little playful), "I do want."

And Saitama takes a whole, actual minute to stare. Before his face blooms red, and rambling goes, "I can't tell if you meant that as a 'yes I want this' or a 'Sensei is who I want'. I mean, i-it doesn't matter which cuz they both mean the same thing, a-about like. Bejng with me and doing... things with me. But like, either way also means different things cuz I don't know if you meant you want me or you want this- to do this. Again, it doesn't really matter, and I'm probably overanalyzing but-"

And he doesn't stop rambling, slowly getting redder, until Genos snorts softly and kisses him, murmuring something about "Sensei is adorable when he rambles."

Between Shinbei, Gensai, Hanjiro, and Izo, who was the most skilled in scowrdmanshio between the four?

That's a really difficult question to answer.

Each of these men were skilled swordsmen in their own right, and outside of seeing them go up against one another, it's a difficult judgment to make.

Nakamura Hanjiro lost a finger (or several fingers, sources seem unsure here) prior to the battle of Ueno when he was attacked by three assassins on his way back from a bath house. He still drew his short sword and killed the last assassin, then went on to fight for the rest of the Boshin War and in the Satsuma Rebellion.

If I had to pick one, I would probably say Tanaka Shinbei.

Here's why: Shinbei was not born a samurai and his sword school, as far as I know, is unknown. He may have been mostly self-taught, but he still caught Takechi Hanpeita's eye.

Takechi was a strong swordsman himself, most likely better than Okada Izo, who was his student and 9 years younger. If Takechi wanted Shinbei to work for him, he saw a lot of talent that would be useful. He wouldn't have bothered otherwise.

But I'll leave it up to the readers. Who do you think was the most skilled of the four?
