Half sketch or something

hc that these three were good friends growing up. In this scenario, I can't stop thinking about Jean, who may have felt like she was losing her friends and didn't even understand why. (yeah technically Kaeya is still around, but I think he's become more secretive and cold)

"hands off! I'm taken!" — diluc .
synopsis !! you pick up your drunk lover from the tavern
note !! I finally posted something! my schedule is still full but things should settle down more by september :> enjoy this fun fic!
contains !! gn reader, ft. kaeya and others! alcohol consumption, not proofread
Your lover rarely drinks. Scratch that, he doesn't drink at all if he could help it.
So whatever encouraged him to drink tonight of all nights was beyond you. It wasn't his shift in the bar, yet he insisted you shouldn't wait for him as he might come home late from the tavern. Apparently, he'll be meeting up with Kaeya, Jean, and a few others.
You're overjoyed, of course! It's not everyday your overworking lover decides to take a break and meet up with his old friends, much less those who are involved with the knights. You practically pushed him on his way to socialize and have fun.
Perhaps he had too much fun.
It was past midnight when you stopped by the tavern, seeing as you lived nearby anyway.
Diluc sat amongst a small crowd. You recognize them to be Kaeya, Jean, Lisa, Venti, and Rosaria, each nursing their own drink in their hands. What surprised you was that Diluc had a glass of his own— emptied, and that Kaeya was pouring him another round.
"Ah, it seems like your ticket home has arrived, D," Kaeya muses upon spotting you. The redhead only huffs in reply.
"What a joyous occasion! Come join us, (Name)!" Venti cheers, swinging around his large mug.
It's only when you approached the group did you notice your lover's unfocused eyes, glazed over as he blinks away at nothing.
"What did you do?" You raise an eyebrow, eyes narrowing suspiciously at Kaeya. The Cavalry Captain raises his hands in defense.
"You're accusing me? I'm hurt," He chuckles, "You and I both know he isn't so easy to trick into drinking."
You glance over at Jean, who gives you a sympathetic laugh, "It's true. Surprisingly, sir decided to drink tonight. It wasn't that much, I assure you."
"Wasn't that much, she says, yet he looks just about ready to pass out," Rosaria mutters, sipping on her own glass. You let out a sigh, seems like you'll be responsible for taking him home tonight. You're not bothered at all, in fact, you're a little glad he decided to let loose and have fun, no matter how unusual it seems.
If anything, it's a little funny to see him look gruff and cold, he doesn't even seem drunk until you notice the flush on his face and the spin in his eyes. Grabbing an empty glass and filling it with water from a pitcher, you gesture for the redhead to drink.
"Come on, 'Luc, drink some water and let's get you home."
He turns his head away to the side. You raise an eyebrow.
"'Luc, drink some water."
"No."
". . . You need to sober up–"
"No."
His head arcs further away from you, arms crossed. You glance at his face, is he. . . is he seriously pouting right now? Kaeya chuckles next to you. You aren't sure what kind of drunk shenanigan is going through his mind, but you decided to let it slide, opting to bring him home instead.
"Alright then, let's get out of here instead." With a hand on his shoulder, you gesture for him to stand but he wacks it away. Diluc? Your Diluc?? Wacked your hand away???
You blink at him before recovering to grab onto his arm, trying to pull him up, "Come on, 'Luc! We got to get you home!"
"No! Hands off!" He sluggishly pushes you, failing but he plops back onto his seat.
"What?"
"Hands off me! I'm taken!"
You freeze. The little group around you pauses as well. There's a loud snort in the air, presumably from Venti.
"Diluc, what?" You bite back your laugh. Laughing at the drunk is bad etiquette, you really shouldn't. You really, really shouldn't.
"I'm–" He slurs, facing you with a pointed look and a loopy glare, "Taken. Go find someone else to mooch."
Archons, help you not to burst out laughing in this situation.
Opting to giggle behind closed lips, you squat next to his chair, reaching out to cup his cheek but he scoots away from your touch.
"Diluc," You laugh, "It's me."
"Not- not interested."
"I'm literally your lover."
He blinks at you. You aren't sure if you got through him but he immediately stands upright, wobbling from the action. You catch him by the waist for support.
"Woah there, are you ready to go?"
"I'm going-" He tests his steps, "Going home to my darling, (Name)." With shaky hands, he pushes you aside, "I told you I have a lover!"
A loud laugh starts from behind you. Kaeya hunches over the table, gripping his stomach as the rest try to hide their chuckles behind their hands.
"Oh dear, my dear brother," The cryo user stands, wiping a tear from his eye, "Seems like you truly had too much tonight. This person here is assigned to take you to (Name)." The sly smile on Kaeya's face tells you to play along.
Diluc rubs at his eyes, everything seems to swirl, "Really?"
"Yes."
". . . Alright then."
Was he really that easy to trick? Your jaw could've dropped open. As expected of Kaeya who naturally dealt with all of Diluc's drunk shenanigans.
"Let's go then. . ." Diluc mumbles, glancing at you, "But no touching."
At his first step, he nearly trips over his feet if it wasn't for you grabbing onto his arm. You wrap it over your shoulder, pulling him upright.
"Surely, it's alright if I hold onto your arm?" You try to reason.
". . . Okay."
With a side glance at Kaeya and the rest, you nod them goodbye as they wave their pleasantries. Now that you're outside the tavern, you decide to take your drunk lover to your home nearby, a place he's frequently visited.
"Honestly, whatever made you drink so much tonight. . ." You huff, grabbing onto him and trying to get him to walk normally.
"My lover, you see. . ." He trails off.
"What about your lover?" You can't help but prod. Surely, you haven't done something wrong, right?
"Everything. . . Everything about them." Diluc mumbles, a sigh escaping him, "Just— amazing."
You can't help the way your lips sorts into a smile.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"That must be nice. Is that why you don't want to go home with me?" You can't help but tease as he glowers, turning his face to get a better look at you. You notice the way his eyes look clearer now.
". . . As mentioned, I–" A groan, "Am devoted to my lover, no matter how charming you look."
"Mhmm, sure, yeah." You laugh, taking in his compliment, "You're devoted, alright."
"It's true–" He pushes away from you to fumble with his coat in an enthusiasm that's only seen when he's drunk, "Would you like to see the ring?"
Ring? What ring? You freeze in your steps as he digs into his pockets, pulling out an enclosed little box with intricate carvings. He opens it to reveal a ring– one you've only ever dreams of having (and receiving from him). The details, a testament to how much he knows what you like, while mixing in his own interests.
Your heart skips a beat.
"'Luc–"
"Archons, I'm nervous," He groans into his hand, carefully closing the box despite his drunken mannerisms, "I can't even– can't even sleep at night thinking about it."
You're still in shock as you gaze up at him. Sure, you've talked about a future together, but it always felt so far away— Diluc was too busy, always with something else to prioritize and it didn't seem like the right time for him no matter how right it was for you.
"Is. . . Is that why you drank?"
He looks at you with a raised brow, "Nervousness is one thing. I needed everyone's advice as well." Your heart flutters, was he ever this thoughtful? The answer is yes. You reach out to him again, hands as shaky as his own, but yours shook in happiness.
"Diluc, I—"
He lurches, a heaving sound down his throat as if threatening to puke. You reach out, holding onto him again with a small laugh, "Alright, alright, let's get you home first, Luc."
He groans in reply, voice wobbly and weak, "I'm. . . taken. . . "
"I know, my love."
Sunshine filters into the bedroom and Diluc shuffles under the covers. His head was throbbing, his throat felt dry, he's reminded again why he never drinks.
Grape juice is definitely better. Grape juice is yummy. Why can't he make a grape juice relaxant? He sure as heck can, what's his money for if he can't fund an entire academic foundation focusing on the production of anxiety-calming juice?
Before he could even begin to think about the business prospects and expenses to spare, your footsteps catches his attention as you enter the room.
"Slept well?"
He brushes his hair back, sitting up groggily, "I've had better nights."
"Here, have some water." You gesture to the cup in your hands to which he drinks from obediently.
"Thank you."
"I'm just glad that you're allowing me to offer you water." You bite back a chuckle.
"What?"
Standing up with a hum and a shrug, you turn away from him, "I don't know. Last night, you wouldn't even let me touch you."
His eyebrows furrow together, "That's ridiculous. Why would I do that?"
"Apparently, you have a lover, and I was trying to tempt you away into my home~"
Diluc freezes like a deer in the headlights, heat rushing up his face, turning it a shade as red as his hair, "I. . . said that?"
You laugh, turning towards him as you begin to explain everything that happened in the tavern and how his friends reacted. This only helped to worsen his embarrassment.
"I'm going to kill Kaeya. . ." he mutters under his breath, hiding away his face before peeking at you, "And then I suppose you walked me home? Did I. . . say anything after?"
You spotted the way his eyes glance to his coat, hanging by the door. Your lips twitch into a smile.
"Nope. You were quiet the whole way home."
You can't wait to embarrass him even more after his proposal.

Title: Klee and the little plushies
Character(s): Klee and most of the Monstade characters (Genshin Impact)
Summary: Klee's best friend is Dodoco! The little guy was usually the only one on the side of her bag so it would definitely turn heads when she started running around with more plushies hooked to her bag as she searched for the people who looked like those plushies!
Warnings/tags: Fem!reader (but doesn't appear here), sagau as in cult au/god au, no romance just mainly fluff!
Klee and the little plushies (here!) Qiqi's plushie delivery Sayu's plushie mission Nahida's dream and plushies
Tumblr media
It was deffinetly something that many took notice of when they saw Klee running past them, her bag which used to have only Dodoco on the side now had multiple little plushies dangling on it.
Sucrose and Albedo were the first to notice when Klee showed them her bag. Sucrose complimented the girl telling how cute they were while patting her head while Albedo did the same but also asked who made them? He couldn't think of anyone who would make these plushies, really. Muchless someone who would give them all to Klee like this.
"It was from a nice lady who I met in the Starsnatch cliff! She was busy sewing at the cliff where Klee found her." Klee told him smiling. Walking to a table, she placed her backpack down to look at the plushies. "I saw her sewing a doll and asked her if she could make me one! But she already had one that looked like me!"
Klee showed the two a small chibi felt doll. With a red hat, dress, backpack, long ears, and happy smile on the doll, it looked just like her. Albedo asked if he could take a look at the doll, which Klee gladly placed it in his hand, wanting to show it off.
"It is a really well-made doll, Klee. Can I ask what the lady's name is?" Albedo asked, now even more curious to who gave Klee such cute and intricate dolls. He was sure that the person had spent a lot of time working on them. Was this person someone they know, or should he be cautious if they weren't?
"... She didn't tell me. She just gave me them and when I asked she didn't answer… But she is very nice and pretty!" Klee giggled, running towards Albedo and placing another plushie in his hand after rummaging through the keychain plushies again.
"Here! She also gave me one that looks like you and Sucrose!"
Albedo looked at the doll, surprised. The doll looked just like him. Sucrose was also startled at how similar the small doll looked like her when Klee placed it on her hand. "Did we ever meet this person?" Sucrose asked, flustered, pushing her glasses closer to her face.
Klee had a moment to think, placing a finger near her mouth as she pondered only to shake her head. "No, I don't think so. I would have remembered her then since she is so pretty!" Klee said, glancing at the doll. How could she ever forget someone who made such cute plushies?
Kaeya, Amber, Lisa, and Jean were also surprised when they received a doll that looked similar to them. While simplified into a small doll, it was easy to tell who was who, and when they asked who made them, Klee replied the same answer.
"I don't remember seeing a person the way Klee described in the cliff last time a went there…" Amber said deep in thought, occasionally glancing at the small doll that looked just like her. (With an extra small plush that looked similar to her baron bunny... It was really cute.)
"Are you sure, Amber?" Jean asked in worry as she looked at the doll that looked like her. It was a cute thing really but knowing that Klee didn't know who she got it from made her concerned.
"Don't think about it too much, Jean. Didn't Klee say that Albedo checked it to see if there was anything weird about them? You are being paranoid again, don't worry." Lisa said, looking at her little plush with her pointy little hat. The smile on her face showed that she definitely adores it.
"But still," Jean said still unsure.
It was at that point that Klee jumped in after finding Kaeya's little plush and giving it to him. "The nice lady said it was something she did in her past time! To make plushies! She said she gets inspiration from the people she sees." Klee said cheerfully, "Klee really thinks she is a nice lady!"
"I say we trust what Klee says. These plush are quite adorable, and what could a person really do with malicious intentions with these things?" Kaeya said jokingly, showing off his own plush. The diamond in his eye patch and the eye was quite detailed. "They must have put much time and effort into them to be used like that."
"If Jean doesn't want hers, can Klee have it?" Klee asked, placing her hands on her back as she gave Jean a puppy look.
Jean did not give her the plushie tho, sadly.
Fischl, Bennett, and Razor were confused when Klee found them only to give them small plushies. “These are for you! They are a gift from a nice lady?” Klee told them, grinning happily.
Fischl took her plushie, talking about how it was worthy as a present for the majestic her. She also commented how adorable Oz was as his plus was attached to hers on another chain.
Razor took one sniff of the plush and nodded, accepting the plushy as his family while Bennett looked genuinely touched as he stared at his asking Klee again and again if this was really a gift to him and if the plush was really him and not someone else that looked like him.
There was a flush on his face, so grateful that he received such a heartwarming gift even if he didn't know who gave it to him.
Klee found Eula with Amber, who were chatting about the little plush that Amber had beside her vision. A tint of jealousy was on Eula's voice even tho she tried to hide it.
When the two of them heard Klee call quickly, Eula snapped her head in the direction of Klee scanning her for an Eula doll. She got her own doll much to her delight, yet could only become flustered when she saw Amber and Klee smiling at her and could only start rambling on about revenge that she must do for this action.
Diona was suspicious when Klee went up to her, wondering if it was about the bombs they were talking about a few days ago when Klee suddenly shoved a plush on Diona's face. "Wahh!! What is this!! Meaw!"
Finding out it was a gift, Diona's face slowly became red as she started to act as if she wasn't satisfied that it was some sort of ingredient to make her drinks disgusting. But Klee can see how tightly the cat girl held the plushie and the spark in her eyes as she curiously examined it when she thought Klee wasn't looking.
Diluc, similar to Jean, was also suspicious, yet unlike Jean.... Klee didn't give the doll immediately....
She wanted to drill into the man's head that this doll with red hair and a blank stare is cute, and no, he will not destroy this doll no matter what. He is not allowed to even cut it! Diluc had to make a pinky promise with the little girl that he won't do anything to the doll till she finally gave it to him.
Promise?
Barbara was already waiting for Klee when she finally visited the cathedral. She saw the doll that Jean had and had to get her hands on one till Jean told her that she didn't know who made them. Barbara was just visibly disappointed till Jean told her that (although a bit hesitant) Klee might have one for her as she did see one that looked awfully similar to her.
Barbara gave Klee a huge bear hug as she could finally match her older sister with these adorable-looking doll!
Rosaria same like Diluc was also a bit iffy about them and even more so when she found out about the maker being anonymous (placing the key ring on her finger as if she didn't want to touch this thing that looked too similar to her) yet it was Kaeya who was passing by who told her that it was okay that there was nothing on the dolls as other than Sucrose and Albedo, Lisa also checked qnd found out that nothing wrong with them.
Noelle, Klee bumped outside the cathedral who was carrying multiple boxes. Klee quickly apologized to her, but Noelle told her it was fine and just to be more careful next time.
Noelle was surprised when she was suddenly presented with a small doll that looked like her, she saw everyone had them and thought about how cute they were and wanted to make one for herself she didn't think that she would be receiving one and thank Klee for this cute gift.
Venti was the last person Klee met. Under the huge tree where many fireflies flew. Kaeya told her that he was usually at Angel's share, yet when she asked Diluc he told her he didn't see him today.
So away she went on an adventure or so she thought - who knew the first place she would go to Windrise, on top of the huge tree Venti would be there playing the harp.
"Ah Klee! What brings you here?" Venti joked as he strung his harp. Klee waved up at him under the tree. "Mr. Bard! You are here!"
"Oh? And why do you seek this humble bard? I noticed that you were giving everyone a small present. Is there one for me?"
"Hehe, so there was this nice lady who gave Klee this doll! She told me I could keep them so long as I gave the other dolls to others. Mr. Bard is the last one!"
Venti hopped down the tree, landing gracefully right beside Klee as he looked at the plush that looked like a chibi version of him on her hand. Yet even tho he found it cute, he can't help but become rather curious about who made this doll when he saw the invisible elemental traces on it.
It didn't belong to an elemental, a clear white that wasn't like the lightish blue from Cryo. It made Venti's heart beat fast when he looked at it.
He has never seen such a thing yet... it felt familiar somehow... how... how did he not see it.
"Hey, Klee... who did you get this from?" Venti asked his voice almost solemn as he asked Klee who did she get this from yet kept a smile so as to not scare the little girl. "Hmm, a lady at the cliff... she didn't tell me her name..." Klee explained to him the same thing she said to everyone.
"Is something the matter Mr. bard?"
"These... are cute dolls..." Venti said his mind elsewhere as he took the Venti doll from Klee's hands.
"Everyone is worried that the lady might be a mean lady. But Klee knows the lady is very nice!" Klee said with determination.
"The lady must be really nice..." Venti said, shaking his head to snap out of it, forcing a smile again. "Tell them that these are something like lucky charms or... something like that." Venti scratched his head. "They are like protection charms!"
"Really, Mr. bard?" Klee's eyes glitter bright at Venti's words. She already grew so annoyed by how many didn't believe her and questioned the motives of the nice lady.
She really is nice!!
"Why yes!" Venti said, grinning at the child.
"Because they were made by someone who we all wished to see..."

When I Accidentally Became the God of Travel and Protection
Mentioned AU: Isekai AU, calling this type the Active Player AU, Self-Aware Genshin Impact AU (but few are truly 'aware'.)
Featuring: Noelle, Jean, Diluc, Kaeya, Albedo, ft. Others
Imagine being the mama bird of all these Genshin Characters. I just wanna be there and protect them 🥺🥺
—— —— ——
It started with just one. You managed to convince Noelle by accident, really. One time, she had gotten really hurt. She wasn't even supposed to be in harm's way— she's a maid! She was just supposed to collect some Wolfhook berries....
Then, by chance, you noticed her struggle. A morning stroll in Wolvedom for you had quickly become a battle between the Abyss and yourself. This devolved into a battle of strength, which you had to call upon. You wipe the floor with the elements, harnessing that ability since you could finally fight in Teyvat.
That's all it was. The ability to possess playable characters and keep some crazy EM stats on your multi-elemental person. Nothing strange about that, right? Wrong.
You forgot that you weren't just the Traveller anymore. You were you, and you were very super-powered at the moment. Noelle, who had trained everyday with her own immense strength, could definitely notice. Your raw strength wasn't normal by any standard she'd known— not Jean, not Kaeya, nor Amber...
It appeared as if the elements strongly favored you. Could you teach her that? Ah, she's hurt right now... Oh? You know how to help her?
Yes, you could even feed them with magic food. The same kind that only the Traveller ever had...
Noelle had to ask, then! Could you cook with same... magic like they could? Make the same fantastic dishes that they could make?
Needless to say, you left a deep impression on Noelle.
After your parting with Noelle, you simply went on with your day. Nothing changed for a good while and really, you were happy to get to travel around!
Free teleportation, no worries about employment or food, and a bed within a teapot...
Noelle, on the other hand, couldn't wrap her head around it. Did this make you a God? Some spirit or protector? She doesn't remember Lord Barbatos even possessing half the powers you do! Does that make you above Archons?
Whether you were from Celestia or some other third possibility, she made sure she remembered your advice: "Just call out if you need help next time."
Noelle carried this knowledge with her. She heaved it over her back like protective armour, and wielded it like a secret weapon. She didn't want to use it. She shouldn't have to, right?
She would have liked to never use it, but even Noelle can recognize a tough fight. Lawachurls and civilians... they don't mix, and Noelle really needed the help. So, she gave it a try.
She calls your name...
.
And there you are, ready to throw down as a sort of spirit hanging over her shoulder. You were a wisp, really, but you gave her more strength. You called upon more energy. In less than 2 minutes, the lawachurl is defeated swiftly. Noelle's Claymore crackles with the elements. It's all thanks to you, she's sure...
She tells Kaeya. She tells Lisa.
Amber, Klee, Sucrose, who tells Albedo, who discusses it with Jean. Diluc hears about it through Charles, who hears it from any drunkards who witnessed your abilities. Your name, your power, your abilities — they become the talk of Mondstadt. Some are convinced that you're simply an urban legend.
Noelle prays for guidance and protection from you. She prays for the safety of Mondstadt without ever knowing if you can hear her. She doesn't tell you, but it happens. You give her artifacts in the time between prayers, which she happily discovers the power of. If she is suddenly able to defeat enemies more quickly, then it must have been by your grace!
Maybe she asks eventually. Maybe she doesn't. Maybe it's Kaeya instead, who simply finds you. Of course he was going to find you eventually. Mondstadt isn't always so eventful. He probably catches you walking around the Church, or walking into the Angel's Share. You'd be surprised to see Diluc there, if only you knew that he rarely worked a shift.
When questioned, you're calm and normal, if not slightly nervous by all the sudden questions. But who were you to worry? Kaeya had a very silver tongue and Diluc knew how to work with Kaeya. You try not to worry about the questions over drinks but instead offer protection if either of them need it.
Kaeya tries it. Very purposefully, by the way. He picked a fight he knew he could win against particularly weak hilichurls. True to what he's heard, and to what you can do, you simply grab a hold of Kaeya and give a massive damage output. Congratulations, you've convinced Kaeya of your 'alledged godhood.'
Diluc doesn't try it, but he knows it works. Kaeya was particularly insistant that he keep tabs on the little 'god experiment', to see where you were and what you did. You kinda... interacted with a pop-up window. Other than that? Nothing much.
Diluc is convinced that you're definitely someone powerful, and you don't even realize he knows.
Albedo just has to talk to you, now. He has to know how you manage to pull all this off. How far can you do it from? What does it look like from your perspective? Really, he has to measure all parameters. Memorize every detail that you see and feel. Repeat it in increasing different ways to figure out the limits of both you and your possessed character.
He throws himself into the fray. Sucrose helps him with the experiment. Timaeus wants to join in; sadly, you don't seem to know how. It's all so interesting. So much to learn and so many secrets to uncover— it's the first time in a long time that Albedo's been outwardly excited. You've piqued his interest and now, you both get to learn something!
Sucrose and Albedo certainly believe you're strong, but not quite a god. You're from out of this world, right? Maybe you exist within the boundary of a rule unknown to Albedo?
Suprise visit, Lisa wants to talk! Yes, for as much as she knows, she clearly has more to learn. She's happy to sit and discuss this over tea, if you like? Oh yes, it would happen that she invited Jean to sit with her. Jean caught off guard that YOU'RE the plus-one invitee, but she's just as respectful. You have a great time with the Favious Girlies, discussing your days together. You made some good friends, you think!
There's a lot of people to cover, and even more to talk about in the other nations.

- Usually, The Knights or Klee would play with you but Klee was currently in.. Jail as the spark knight puts it and the Knights were too busy to play with you since a particular potion shop decided to appear out of no where.
-And.. That left you alone. with your not-so strict, overworked and busy mom. In a room. Together.
- You were not gonna to do anything, It was just that it was too boring and the awful sound of pen scratching against the paper was probably the only entertainment a child could have in this barren wasteland. Playing with toys given to you by Mr. One Eye and Lady Lisa was already boring you to death.
- So.. You decided to leave the office, Closing the door fast as your mom was about to say no.
------__--_-_-_-_-_-_-_-____
"Y/N get back ʜᴇʀᴇ-" Jean's voice was soon muffled by the door closing. A child out of their parent's sight is a child to fear because no amount of pestering is gonna be able to calm them down unless you get the parent themselves.
You were not gonna do anything, Maybe perhaps try to picklock the door to Klee's jail (Didn't work) or maybe you could try to steal a book in the library (Lisa saw you immediately upon entering) or maybe you should just hide, Yes! Hide, Hide and Seek! Oh you were so happy upon having that sudden thought in your little head as you ran around the Favonius Headquarters with a toy in hand and no adult supervision.
It was not in Jean's checklist to spend almost half the day trying to find and catch you. Even with the knights who came back to HQ upon her request to help her find and catch her child was ALSO not part of her checklist! Ah, This was too much already, This sure will put a bad image on not only her but also the knights!
"Y/N." A stern voice spoke behind you as you were sitting, facing the wall giggling to yourself. Perhaps it was the lack of softness in her voice that absolutely terrified you as you slowly looked behind you with fear in your eyes. "Mom.. Hi!" You spoke nervously, Standing up from your hiding spot as you gripped the hand of your toy tightly.
"No more games. Come now, Mom is very tired of this." The softness in Jean's voice returned as a sigh escaped her. Jean picked you up, A stern look on her face before breaking out into a soft smile. You just reminded her too much of your father.

- The one and only Favonius Librarian and your mom, She may not seem like it but even librarians like her tend to be overworked most of the time, Especially the appearance of the Potion Shop that the Acting Grandmaster wanted to put up. Safe to say it was going pretty well.
- You and Lisa were often seen sitting next to the Potion Stand, You usually drawing on the coloring book that Mr. Kaeya gave you and Lisa sipping on her cup of tea while reading the Market demands.
- Your Mom made sure that she explained to you what will happen if you happened to steal one of the potions. (Lighthearted threats of course, She didn't want you to just up and steal the potions that the Traveler worked hard for.)
- But, Did that stop you? A little bit, You were still curious of the effects of some potions. Like the one that made you get all the wisdom! Like every wisdom in the world?! That would be so cool to use, especially on days where your mom suddenly quizzed you out of no where..
- So perhaps you stole a potion, Maybe two.. Or three. They were just vials, Not the actual potions of course. Paimon made a deal with you to give her some food in exchange for some vial of the potions that the Traveler was making.
- To any costumer that happened to walk by the two of you were very much suspicious and weirded out, Because the two of you looked like you were doing some "strange deals" together.
-A kid and a.. Floating fairy doing deals, Yeah totally normal in today's society of course.
- Paimon told you that the effects would wear out eventually, especially since these were not the actual full blown potions but more of a "sample". Which, You were a bit disappointed about but i mean.. It's better than nothing i suppose.
-_--_-_-_-----_-_-_-_--_-_-__
"Where have you been? Mom has been worried sick.." Lisa spoke worriedly as she stood up from her seat, Checking to make sure you're alright.
"Im fine, im fine. Me and Paimon were just playing and.. Stuff." You answered with a grin, A grin that if your mom looked too closely at then she will surely interrogate you. "Hmm.. What's that in your pocket sweetie?" Lisa asked with curiousity, Curiousity that was definitely mixed with teasing as a smirk was already plastered on her face.
"Snacks.. Uhh, Paimon gave me some snacks which i know, really weird since she never uh.. Shares food.. Or something." You were practically spewing out sweat like a sprinkler, Looking up at you mom with an Innocent smile. "Mhm.. Empty your pockets." Lisa spoke sternly, A hand already out for whatever was inside your pocket. You just let out a loud groan before emptying your pockets to reveal 3 vials of Wisdom and Constitution potions.
"Why would you need these? Are you hiding something behind me Y/N?" Your mom asked with a serious tone as she examined the vials for a bit before knowing what it was. "Well.. I just wanted to answer your quizzes correctly.."
"But you do answer my quizzes, Sure it's not correct most of the time but that's what matters. Mistakes are proofs that you're trying, and that's what matters, Alright?" Lisa spoke with a soft smile, Crouched down in front of you while softly patting your head. You can never fool you mom and give her a hard time, Because she just turns it into you sobbing at her clothes.

- A Qixing General Secretary and a Mother. Ooh boy, So many things to do and so many papers to go thru, The life of a particular Half-Qilin and Half-Human named Ganyu.
-You, As her sweet (And unfortunately mischievous) pride and joy, Her child is quite literally the only thing that motivates her to get home on time. That is unless a sudden overtime happens which she will suddenly lose all tiredness and fully commit to her work. (Even if she already had fully committed, She just wants to embrace her kid after a long day.)
- Has her child already eaten?
- Complex meeting minutes, disorderly report data... Every day, piles of documents flow by like water, each one personally compiled by Ganyu into clear and concise words in order to assist the Qixing's every decision and negotiation as the papers go through various organizational departments.
- Archons, she misses her child already.
- As the secretary of Yuehai Pavilion, Ganyu undertakes many tasks that ordinary folk do not see. For those that have witnessed her standing by the dock on her breaks or enjoying her breakfast in silence, it is difficult to imagine her in such a position.
- Oftentimes, when she returns home from work at around midnight, She would see you sleeping on her Mentor, cloud retainer's lap. She was quite shocked when she first saw you with her family figure, Apologizing immediately after accidentally waking the two of you up as Cloud Retainer just sighed.
- Recently, After a particular event happened. Ganyu kept seeing a little girl named Shuyu play with you, Which turned out to be her mentor's newest disciple, A disciple from the human world.. Well Ganyu can't be weirded out by it, You yourself was a product of a human man and Ganyu, But that's a story for another time.
- Ganyu of course was very happy that you were making friends with Shuyu, even the other kids in Liyue Harbor has started to hang out with you which made her very proud. But it felt like you were growing too fast, Ganyu is not even sure if you got her Qilin blood as well.. She's only half qilin, Which definitely lessened your chances of you being one. But until you started to show signs that you did in fact have Qilin blood running in your veins, Let her be cuddly and clingy to you.
- This however, Led you to be a bit displeased with your mother's sudden clingyness towards you, Often leading you to ignore her kisses or hugs. (Which Ganyu understood but still very much felt motherly pain from it.)
- You displeased it so much to the point that you would stay out of your mother's sight whenever you were playing with your friends in public. (Knowing that she is the secretary of Yuehai Pavillion.)
-_-_----_-_-_-_-_--_-_-_--___
"Y/N! Y/N! Isn't that your mom?" One of your close friends asked while not-so subtly pointing at the direction in which your mother was talking to a merchant, She looked quite angry if you were being honest.
"Yeah, Come on let's go!" You spoke while grabbing your friend's arm, pulling them back as you ran to the other side of Liyue Harbor. Of course, Ganyu noticed this. In fact, She had already finished talking to the merchant the moment you grabbed your friend's arm to drag them away.
As your mother, She quickly followed behind while making sure to be out of you and your friend's sight, She didn't want you running away again to some weird place in Liyue Harbor. (Because archon's know what those alleyways do.)
"Hm.. Wait, Why are we even running? Isn't your mom a Qixing or something?" You friend asked while taking deep breaths, Looking at you with a curious gaze. "Secretary of the Qixing, And i just wanna be left alone right now.. Mom is way too clingy around me, I don't even understand the suddenness of it and why she's suddenly clingy!" You whisper-yelled to your friend, Ranting about your mom while your friend just stayed quiet.
Maybe the reason your friend stayed quiet is perhaps because your mom, Ganyu, is literally right BEHIND you. "Yeah.. Yeah.. Uhh, Well.. Dad needs me in his stall now, Bye bye Y/N!" Your friend spoke hurriedly before leaving you confused.
"What's up with them? Eh, Whatever.." You muttered under your breath before turning around, Only to be met with your mother with a sad frown on her face. "Y/N! I.. I didn't know that you didn't like my hugs! Or kisses! You could have told me you know?" Ganyu whispered, She was talking to you in a public place after all of course and she didn't wanna draw so much attention to the both of you already.
"We're talking later when i get home."
"Ah.. Crap."

A/N: Okay, I got inspired again and this piece is just me, pouring my absolute and eternal love to the favourite place of mine: Mondstadt! This could be read in sagau or just any other normal piece of work but I wrote it with Creator!Reader AU in mind.
Because let's be honest, they welcomed the Traveller albeit a bit hesitantly, with open arms even when they were really busy with Dvalin situation... And I might be sick of writing/reading Mondstadt as one of the nations who tortured Creator!Reader 👉👈
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Mondstadt."
One might be wondering why the Creator was telling the nation of freedom's name right in front of the said nation but the answer was pretty clear to you as you stood before the entrance of the city with Venti next to you, looking pretty surprised himself with his aqua eyes wide open.
And no, it wasn't to punish someone.
Why was it that everyone thought you enjoyed torturing people when all they ever did was... to make you drunk?
"I'm choosing Mondstadt."
Because, ever since your arrival to the Teyvat, though most didn't trust you and rather tried funny things on you... The people of Mondstadt welcomed you with open arms, even if they were facing a crisis at the time which was "magically" solved very soon.
That was also a test on them and their Archon Barbatos, who went by the name Venti to honor a friend he once did and was unaware how badly things could have turned out had they been...
Well, you got the idea.
Now, Barbatos often prided himself to be your favourite which often got on the nerves of other gods and Archons. But he didn't give much thought to it as he floated around you as a little spirit at the time. Besides you wouldn't have specifically asked him to accompany you to everywhere you went if you didn't feel safe and secure, if you didn't like him, right?
"I see..." Zhongli said somberly while standing right outside the Gates of the city, his amber eyes filled with jealousy and anger directed themselves onto the shorter Archon next to you looking both surprised and proud as he held your hand. He had to pull himself together, however much it affected him, as he thightened his hand into a fist and looked at you with unconditional love and undetering loyalty, no matter whose nation you chose to stay.
"May I ask why, Your Grace?" He softly asked you, with no hint of anger or malice directed to you as you shuffled on your feet anxiously but held your head high. You were obviously the Creator, come on!
Venti looked at you with a turn of his head, his usually pouty lips forming a thight line as his hand naturally found yours. He remembered the first time you arrived, all the Winds and waters were singing and there was a feast of falling star in the sky. He remembered how he rushed to where you landed, the Tree of Vennessa, and were trying to get your balance back on your wobbly legs. His heart thumped inside his ribcage violently at your etheral body, the fact that you chose his land, the three that meant the world to him to ascend down...
He could have fallen on his knees in gratitude eit tears flowing down his soft cheeks and round eyes right then and there.
But what stood out the most was... The fact that you were scared.
And that damned fact made him almost collapse beneath your feet and beg for forgiveness, for something he didn't even know he did.
Please don't hurt me, one simple sentence that he never knew that could cause so much pain to him even after all the battles he fought. How could someone dare to hurt you enough to think that your Archons would do the same, as if they couldn't sense and feel you and your warmth they all once basked in?
Mind you Venti, you awkwardly thought after he explained everything, standing there like a shy kid, that you were the Creator and you had golden blood and he felt you, and cried on his knees for you to believe him as you patted his back and let him hug you thightly. The amount of fanfics I read about this situation made me a little paranoid.
But... Was he grinning and nuzzling closer to your neck?
After that, you were more relaxed. By now, everyone in Teyvat knew of who you were and already started to plan for your arrival in their nations. So far, Liyue and Inazuma were the most eager ones to have you while Sumeru and Fontaine just let you decide when and how you wished to come to their nation and you were glad for them giving you this choice.
But... Well, you didn't really want to leave here.
Mondstadt always stood out to you the most, even after seeing every other nation. Of course they were all special, but Mondstadt was... Home.
Every time you would get hurt in the game, you would immediately seek out to go to one of the Statues of Seven in Mondstadt. Every time you just wanted to stroll around, you would go to Starsnitch Cliff or Windrise and just listen to the nature, absolutely beaming and glowing with you there. It was cozy and warm here...
Then you would always pay a quick visit to the Dawn Winery and Wolvendom to see Diluc, his staff and then Razor and his family. Every time you suddenly appeared in the Winery, or insisted on helping Adelinde out even though the woman begged you not to do that since she knew Diluc would have a heart attack, yet you still did it.
After all, you were the one who cleaned your own home in your world.
Which, by the way, he did just as Adelinde thought every time as you pampered him with a sweet ringing laughter and swiped his soft hair away from his flaming hot face, all the while fawning over how soft and amazing it was and wanted to learn his secret at keeping it so tame.
And may You forbid it if you tease him about the color of his face and even kiss his forehead affectionately?
Now, you would have a very shy and flustered young man clinging onto your touches and love, something he was mostly deprived off, and warmth that couldn't even compare the one his body had because of his vision.
And sweet Razor? The clueless boy would always tug on your sleeves and run around with you, showing every hidden place and then stop and make a makeshift camp for you, eating whatever you found or hunted together. Other Archons would have had a stroke at seeing you sitting down on mud, eating and cooking simple food as you exchanged stories with him from your world as he listened intensely with wide eyes and animated voices.
He was especially into the Supernatural creature stories for some reasons.
Scolding Jean because she never takes a day off, telling Lisa that she was exceptionally bright, assuring Kaeya that he was enough... And then getting yourself into trouble with them by pranking, some adventures and even more... These were all the reasons why you loved here.
Because often, a place feels like home because of the people you met there and those who had an Impact on your life.
With a soft sigh and looking back to the lively city that welcomed you, you spoke with a voice that held many memories. Both from your world, days spent with farming and wishing for them and from this time when you were... Their God.
"Because all of you always saw me as something I have never been for the entirity of my time... A God, the Creator, The Divine, Godslayer, The First Who Came... Which is fine, really, having a lot of cool titles are amazing but..." You rambled off without realizing, worried that your words might piss the Archon off. But why would it?
You were his Creator anyways, and even if you weren't, you didn't deserve to feel bad for thinking the way you did, right?
But they both were just looking at you with soft eyes, clear devotion and understanding crystal clear in them as they only basked in your etheral voice that could bring them to their knees just by itself. Though Zhongli was bitter that you didn't choose to stay in his nation, it didn't mean that you would never visit and have some tea with him, right?
But Venti? Oh the shorter Archon was grinning like a cheshire cat as pride, joy and love filled his entire being.
All for you and because of you.
But a part of him was also smug and all knowing. Because who else would you go to? He was the first one to get to you, help you and protect you. You arrived to his city first, you asked help from them first and you blessed his city, his people, he himself first.
If Zhongli, or other Archons didn't get it then, it was their problem.
Not his.
Besides, he needed to have someone to dedicate his love songs to, after all! And what a coincidence it was that all those songs were about you and you had to listen to them as... The muse itself.
Zhongli was able to read all of these, at least most of it, since he once spent a lot of time with the childish yet strong archon. Unaware of the silent battle between these two that was ready to tear mountains apart for you...You remembered all the times you got to spend with Venti under the tree he usually sat down whenever he needed to pick his thoughts and spend some time with himself.
Alone, as only his winds companied him.
But, after you showed up with bright smiles and a promise to take his mind off of things with your stories or your flower crowns you made just for him because it would compliment him and his pretty face well to which he only accepted with a bashful smile and flushed cheeks, these lonely moments when he would think back to the past and all the mistakes he did turned out to be... A session where you both learnt to accept yourselves as the way you were.
Mistakes and all.
And that was why you were so sure of your reasoning as to why you chose them.
"They have seen me as Y/N..."
They stared at you shocked with wide eyes, perhaps even the other Archons who weren't present heard you and you were sure you heard some people falling behind you...
Must be your imagination.
You shrugged your shoulders and stared ahead of yourself with a small smile and slightly squeezed eyes, both a result of the bright sun that seemed like it felt your own happiness.
Though Zhongli seemed like he didn't understand what that sentence meant... Venti did, and his face visibly softened as a small oh left his lips. His hand silently sought yours to squeeze in assurance, to tell you that he knew what you meant and felt, your own eyes turned to look at him with your own shy smile as you accepted his slightly calloused hands.
Which made the Geo Archon seethe at him even more since... He wished to be the one in Venti's shoes, the one who had your love and affection, the one who you held dear to your heart and close to yourself, much like now.
"They know me as the one who always tripped on their own feet, the one who got so flustered because Kaeya was flirting with them but was being genuine and always made sure I was comfortable. And never once did he hold any malicious feeling as he showed the city to me, I really didn't have the heart to tell him that I already knew every nook and crevice..."
You mumbled shyly with a flush, remembering how it was the first time Kaeya had genuinely laughed and smiled wide as you both came to a stop under one of the trees near Springvale to catch your breath and then eat whatever you wished to do in the village, which was ecstatic to have the Creator in their humble village and served you the best they could.
You didn't have to know, but as Kaeya watched you play with children and then look around yourself as if you were searching for something-no, someone- his heart beated faster as his tan skin darkened in embarrasment when he understood that you were looking for him.
He was the one you wanted to have close to you, he was the one who brought that wide smile to your face... He was worthy enough to spend the whole day with you and you never for once judged him, his past or whatever weight that had been forced on his shoulders since he was a young boy.
But rather chose to drag him towards an opening to watch the night sky and point every star to him, telling him giddily that it all reminded you of him and his one visible eye sparkling at what you said
He made you swear to never tell a soul about the way he cried onto your shoulder and landed a kiss on your forehead affectionately while you patted his back, his almost whole body on top of yours as he resembled a cute koala to you. Because one, Venti would kill him. Two, Diluc would kill him. And three... He couldn't hug you anymore :(
The third one was obviously the biggest reason why, as he pouted at you when you laughed hard at his reasoning, all the while assuring him that you would protect him...
Which gave him yet another thing to think about before he went to sleep, a lovesick smile being glued on his face as he chuckled and giggled like a teenager girl all the while hugging his pillow thightly, hoping that perhaps one day... There would be someone, you, for example, to take over that empty spot.
"They saw me as the one who always made sure that those around them were comfortable, happy and well-taken care of even though they were struggling with their inner demons and in exchange, was equally taken care of and pampered by delicous food."
Because you knew all those young men, women and teens had one hell of a traumatic life and since you weren't able to erase that part or rewrite it... You wanted to at least let them know that you were there for them.
As a shoulder to cry on, a friend to listen, an ear for them to vent... Whatever they needed at that moment. And though they might have been skeptical about your true intentions at the beginning, they quickly found solace within your presence, hugs and love, slithering to your light like moths did to a flame.
Even Diluc, who usually wasn't one for " idle chit-chat" often found himself before you, drinking grape juice together as he told you about his frustrations... More specifically about Kaeya, his brother with whom he re-connected thanks to you.
"The one who was befriended the fastest by the little kids, because they obviously had immaculate sense in new games and story telling from other worlds an enjoyed making an adult suffer for their entertainment."
Indeed, you learnt it in the hard way while playing with Klee. Though you had an amused face as you said this out loud, you underestimated her energy and love to... bomb things, at that time. It was your fault really, Albedo and Jean warned you about it and how she got excited whenever she went fish-blastimg with someone she loved, but even when you met her... You just thought they were exaggerating it.
You were wrong.
They could only slap their foreheads in affectionate anger as you ran away from Klee who was holding yet another Dodoco bomb that was about to explode because she changed her mind from catching the fish to showing you how amazing it was.
And for a second, you indulged with her... That is, until you realized the bomb was about to set off.
"Klee, dear, I think we should really let go of that bomb!"
"But... Mr. Dodoco only wants to meet you! (✷‿✷)" you nervously sweated, thinking how to dodge her without hurting her feelings when the bright eyes of the bomb caught your attention.
"Maybe in better circumstan-WATCH OUT!"
*cue you and her covered in ashes, Klee holding onto your hand as she rambled about how amazing it was throughout the whole time back to Mondstadt while you were shaking from the adrenaline*
"Yeah... It was amazing, dear."
"The one who was always there to pick up the broken pieces of those who acted noncholant and cold, but held the warmest hearts ever." You pointedly looked at Diluc at this part, who came over as soon as he heard that the ex-Geo Archon was here to have a talk with you, watching as his pale cheeks were blossomed with an adorable pink. To be seen as such in your eyes, as a warm hearted man rather than the cold and uncaring one he showed himself to be...
It was an honor.
To hear such lovely words leave your lips was an honor.
Because you were all he had left, after he lost his father and cut all ties with his brother who came clean to him... The only constant thing he had was you.
You who came to him after days of being in Mondstadt, knowing that it was the same night of the same day when he had that fight with Kaeya and comforted him with soft words and your presence right before the fireplace as you both sat together, knees touching. Even though his breaths were laboured, chest contrasting painfully...
"I know it was hard for both of you... But you only have each other, is there really no way for you both to talk it out?"
He listened to you and his heart caved in. How couldn't he, when you were quite literally begging him with desperation and tears in your eyes for him to accept Kaeya back?
Besides, thanks to you... He had his family back now, and both Diluc and Kaeya couldn't be any more grateful for it.
"The one who knew what loosing a loved one meant, but never pushed too far into their comforting and instead let them come to you."
Diluc couldn't help but nod aimlessly as tears slightly dampened first his eyes and then cheek. It was true that you only left there with one question only, knowing how sensitive the topic around Kaeya and his father was for Diluc.
But you just... wanted to pay them back for all the good they did for you, every time they gifted you something heartfelt, made you your favourite food, indulged in your hobbies even though they might not be as interested as you were to them.
And all the time they spent to help you, with quite literally everything since everything was new to you.
You smiled at the fond memory of Albedo and Sucrose, who were trying to explain to you one of their experiments excitedly. Well... As excited as Albedo could be, of course.
But even as a scientist and an artist, there was one thing Albedo didn't realize at that time but much later when he thought back to it: Though you seemed like you understood what they were talking about... You were actually pretty clueless at whatever the hell they were telling you about.
You never were good at chemistry, okay? Not your fault that Albedo was so damn smart!
"The one who didn't always understand what was spoken to them, whether it was way to smart for them or the language barrier but had people to patiently teach them... And later forced to eat all together in the city with others."
Albedo smiled as the same memory replayed in his mind too. The way you often were distracted by the fresh snow in his lab or a colorful show of his newest experiments which made you grin widely with amazed eyes, always brought a smile to the usually stoic blonde man. He might not exactly understand the human nature, and even saw you as some kind of experiment to work on so that he could better understand you, he really liked... The idea of having you around.
He didn't even know when he started to seek for your praises, of your presence whenever you would touch his shoulder softly and urge him to take a break and come with you to either play with Klee or have some warm "sahlep", a warm winter drink from your world that you specifically made for him.
To which he would always agree, no matter what, under the shocked, jealous and impressed eyes of... Well, everyone in Mondstadt.
Because the Creator was offering him something They have done, specifically for him and was looking at him expectantly for his reaction as they swayed a sleepy Klee from side to side on their lap after she drunk the hot liquid.
Did he use Klee to have more of your attention? Maybe... Did he make even more experiments just to have you in Dragonspine? Yes... Yes, he did and he had absoultely zero shame for it.
You clasped your hands together after talking so much, your throat starting to hurt from using it so much since that irritating raspy feeling had made itself visible slowly.
The disappointed face Zhongli had broke you, he looked like a kid being rejected of something sweet. Just because you chose Mondstadt, it didn't mean you hated other nations.
They all had other reasons to love about!
Liyue had more of an enigmatic aura with all the rituals, temples and over all Divine Vibe in them but they also had a lot of rules, though you didn't have to apply them to yourself.
You already dealt with enough rules and strictness in your world, really, so though you liked the over all traditional vibe... It wasn't your first choice.
Inazuma was much like Liyue, though once the strictest one with rules and eternity in all over the Teyvat. Fontaine, though you liked hanging out with many people there, seemed... Cold, though Tsaritsa's land was the one considered to be cold because of the constant snow.
Maybe Sumeru could have been your next choice, but you were still pissy about those mages and scribes who treated your precious baby Nahida like that-
But Mondstadt... It had been the first your created, the first one you saw and stepped foot onto. The first to welcome you and teach you everything, the first to give you a family and a whole lot of friends, the first ones to allow you to be yourself...
They were the apple of your eyes.
"The one who is just... Y/N. That's why I'm choosing them... I'm choosing my home, but that doesn't mean I love any of you less." You patted Zhongli's back with a sorry look that said please understand my point as he did and smiled back. Your comfort and happiness was the most important one after all and if you were the happiest here, though he still sent daggers to a certain half-drunk-of-you bard who was looking at your back with literal heart eyes, he thought he could be... Fine with it.
At least, for you.
"I understand, Your Grace... I just hope that you will come to Liyue soon, which will be waiting for your arrival quite eagerly."
And as you reassured again and again that yes, of course you would... You were yet to know that Venti already carried your words to the certain people you talked about and the whole people of Mondstadt with his winds as the city cried out in joy from having your blessing and love.
And who knows... Maybe, they could have your blessings and love through one another way.
In a more... Romantic and free way.
Bonus Part!
