2.4.19 I spent the weekend at home for mothers day and I didn't take any work with me at all. It did actually make me feel a lot less stressed.

So after that, yesterday I met with the wellbeing services again and she said after lunch work 2 to 7, and I had an hour break at 5 when I got coffee and went for a walk in Brandon Hill. It meant I could work positively and have an end point to encourage me. It worked really well and I wrote 1400 words of my dissertation!

16.10.17  The light was so cool this morning it was like everything was under this autumn-y orange glow. I think it was the storm which passed over.  Once again I spend the day in the Wills Memorial Library. I feel like today is going so slowly but at last I’m being really productive! 8.10.17 ITS OCTOBER i love October. Its come so fast! Just a couple of photos from the weekend reading foucault’s history of sexuality and watching a computer science kid do some coding in my new bedroom. I love this room so much more than last years but i need to keep decorating! Also the two of us went to night vale live last week! It was so much fun. Its been a really good day today after yesterday being quite hard, but i did something i was really scared of for a long time. I might talk about it in a later post. 9.10.17 so this is my new desk! Its a rainy day today, and im going to go to a study café later. Ive having a bit of a rough time recently, going backwards more than forwards. Im lucky to have so many people that care about me and offer help, but theres only so much other people can do or say, and its hard to burden them with my problems. My boyfriend held my hand on friday while i submitted a form to apply to counselling. I just had to accept that I think i cant do this all on my own anymore, and im a little scared. Xxxx Emily

26.04.17 I had to go back to London for the afternoon yesterday to go to a hospital appointment (I’m okay don’t worry) but I still have two reports to finish for tomorrow! So after my appointment I sat in the Wellcome collection cafe and worked on it. I hadn’t been here before - its so nice! xxx emily

2/3/17 Its March already! I like this month - its not so cold, it rains a lot and ts the calm before the storm of revision and exam stress! I’m getting in some revision and essay writing today, as well as planning a presentation for my tutorial I’ve got next week with one of my tutorial partners. I lowkey wish I had taken this picture one minute later so it would be exactly noon! My panner this week is really organised and I’m trying to implement some bullet journal techniques for my to do lists. Did everyone have a good pancake day? I made so many and dulce de leche! 8.3.17 hello everyone! I’m feeling really weird today like I’m not really connecting to my surroundings as much as I usually do? I had a little bit of a wobble with eating early this week and found myself watching some videos that were not helping at all and doing my thing where on the outside and when I sit down I’m really really sad, but when someone talks to me I’m unusually cheerful just so noone notices. But I laugh while I say “I’m in a really bad mindset! How funny right!?” So I went and did some work at the student union. I’m going back to London next weekend to see my family and friends for a couple days because I don’t have any assignments for a little while. How I miss the skyscrapers! xxx emily

24.02.17 I uploaded my essay and it's gone forever! I'm catching up on a lecture I missed on Wednesday and doing a bit of cultural geography reading in this sunny cafe! 8.1.17 Throwback to my last week before the christmas holidays! This is a picture that I didn’t post, but I think I really like it tbh. I was doing a lab report about soil porosity, which sounds really boring, and though, yes it is, the actual report was quite a nice thing to do. It was quite satisfying because I could just follow the instructions of what to complete and I knew it was done. Whereas essays are never done really! I hope all of your Christmas holidays have been really good. Mine have been okay. I’m liking the extra independence I’ve got now I’m back from uni. I’m so sorry I didn’t really do a new year post!
