Reposting here because these screenshots were originally on a pro-l*fer's thread, when it's actually about rights for people with disabilities.
I also realize it would be insensitive to post screenshots of a conversation with a blind man without also including a transcript so here:
[Description- An ultra close up shot of the face and shoulders of a calm but confused looking Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: The Next Generation, or one of the related movies from this series, who is black man in the Starfleet uniform, not wearing his visor that covers his clouded over eyes, but instead just the two red L E D attachments on either side of his head. He is speaking to a blonde white women, who also has close up screenshots of her face. She is wearing round dangling earrings and a bright orange turtleneck, her hair is pinned up away from her face. She doesn't seem to be looking at Geordi until she says the word "disabilities".
Geordi: "I guess if I'd been conceived on your world, I wouldn't even be here now would I?"
White Women: "No."
Geordi: "No, I'd have been terminated as a fertilized cell"
White Women: "It was the wish of our founders that no one have to suffer a life with disabilities."
Geordi: "Who gave them the right to decide whether or not I should be here? Whether or not I might have something to contribute?"
