In a totally unexpected turn of events, I finally created a long-overdue reference sheet for the Far From Home crew! These kids deserve way more love than I give them (to which I counter that Baz is so hard to draw). But I'm extremely happy with how these turned out!

Gerdie is excited to finally have some completions!

Newly Completed Aspirations: Bestselling Author 18/63 completed

Newly Completed Career: Painter (Master of the Real) 14/45 complete

Newly Completed Skills: Violin, Parenting  25/50 completed.

Gerdie formed a love of Violin when she was in Uni and picked it back up again. Indiana approved. (my favorite with "vocal" pets)

It's also easier for Gerdie to work on her life goals with no infants in the household, as Beau aged up. A natural Charmer of course.

Making it even easier was Anna also aging up to a Child. She's a Bookworm and already taking after her mother with skill building, hitting level 6 in Creative & Mental while a whopping 8 in Social.

Now Gerdie needs to decide the next career to max.

1. What’s the lie your character says most often?

This is a very interesting question for Gerdie because he values honesty. The last thing he wants to do is lie to somebody, since a lack of truthfulness is a lack of trustworthiness from his perspective. But I'd say the lie Gerdie uses most often is "It'll be okay." There are many instances where he utters this phrase and doesn't believe it to be true, situations that are just so dire that it can't be true. But he knows those three simple words can calm people down, help them hold on, give them hope. He wants to believe everything will be okay, so he lies.

For a more lighthearted answer, I'd say he most commonly lies about losing board games so that Toko can get a win from time to time.

Headcanon that dwarf children braid their parent’s hair and add specific beads in their hair. They’ve beaded Elrond’s hair before with parent braids, but of course no one tells him what they mean. 

It takes Disa and Durin to tell him months later that the children have adopted him as their parent, and will continue to braid his hair until they get older.
