German authors: Friedrich Schiller
“Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller (10 November 1759 – 9 May 1805) was a German poet, playwright, historian, philosopher, and physician. Schiller is considered by most Germans to be Germany’s most important classical playwright.” (Quote Wikipedia) So I’ve searched the internet to see if I could find some information about Schiller in German for you and I did, some easy, some not so…

I realize I am sliding into a heavy fatigue phase again. Enjoyed the last couple of months immensely and try to not be mad that it will be hell for a while now. But ugh … writing is not fun if thinking already isn’t.

Good news, I actually got my poetry collection that I had so been wanting to read! 😍🥰
And by God's grace it was even easier than I thought, there was an opportunity that made it possible for the people who had the book to bring it to me easily and quickly so I guess it was really given for me to have now. 😊 It's lovely and look at the publishing date! I'm in love!!! 💖💚

Wolf: Under Your Skin Review
Wolf: Under Your Skin Review
Wolf: Under Your Skin by Ellen Hunter 3 stars – I liked it, but it’s not my favourite This is another book I’ve volunteered to review. It’s not my usual genre, but I felt willing to open myself to new things after reading other supernatural stories. I started reading it on April 16, while visiting friends for the weekend. Visit her website here (it’s in German). And here is the English Channel…

Mein erstes Buch hat endlich seinen Veröffentlichungstag und es fühlt sich immer noch surreal an. Ein Traum wird wahr, aber es ist nur der erste Schritt auf einer langen Reise.

I was talking to a professor on the train home this week and asked her if she was reading anything interesting, and among the things she listed she said, “A book by a german book reviewer from the 1800s; I’m unfamiliar with everything he’s reviewing, but he has such a captivating style,” and I KNOW we all joke about online needing a 1-4 hour long video essay on a topic we know nothing about on a piece of media we will never consume and we think that sounds ridiculous but IT’S SO NOT!!!! THAT’S STYLE BABY!!!! if someone’s style of speaking captivates you and entertains you, that in itself is entertaining and FUN AND GOOD!!!!! this weird little experience, it isn’t a lonely internet one, however much it might feel like that in our little echo chamber. others do the same thing, not everything has to be engaged with on an intellectual level, not everything has to be an essay or a debate, sometimes things can just be STYLE BABY!!!!
