thinking about how if 1-5% of my readers supported me on patreon I could quit and make comics full time without issue, but most of my readers don't even know my patreon exists cause I'm not allowed to advertise it too big on my updates.

I'm not allowed to advertise new merch. or my books. or my social media. My comic is growing and people don't even know I exist!

Do you know how many people think my comic is made by a team? They just assume that there's multiple people writing, drawing, everything. But it's just me, working 60 hour weeks to try and get people a comic they can read for free.

It's work I'm very happy to do. It's very worth it to me. but it would be really nice if I could do it without having to be tied to a company that is actively trying to keep me stuck with them...

also please stop asking me when it will be back, I'm trying to recover from the previously mentioned 60 hour weeks. I'm going to the doctor a lot and I've been very busy. It'll be back when it's ready. I'm working on it every day there's just a lot to do.

Just a heads up, I might remove my Accidental MerDer comic from Webtoon due to a few extremely persistent people being complete assholes who forget that some of us don’t have teams of people who work on the comic, and who are disabled/chronically ill and can’t keep up pace with the bullshit ‘Webtoon schedule’ because it’s unhealthy for even able bodied people.

It’s truly wild to me, also, that I have almost 4K people who bookmarked and are reading it, and yet virtually no Patreons or kofis from that group at all. These people are complaining that I don’t update fast enough… for a comic… they get for fucking free.

I genuinely hate what has happened to webcomics.

TOTK Great Fairy Enhancements Tracker

I made a workbook in Google Sheets that will tell you in an intuitive format exactly what materials you need for your current set of gear. It's even mobile-friendly! Each tab should fit width-wise on a smartphone screen so that it's easier to quickly refer to it while you play without needing to scroll side-to-side or open it on a proper computer.

You'll want to make a copy of this file so that you can track your own gear:

A brief tour of the tabs below the cut:

The Input/Tracker Tab

Check off the far right of each row to indicate you own the piece, and then check the 4 boxes to the left to indicate how many stars of upgrade you've completed for that piece.

Bonus: Each column is filterable, so you can choose if you want to hide the pieces you've completed or the ones you aren't working on, or whatever.

The Output/Materials Tabs

There is one tab that will list out the materials you need for your next enhancement/star for each piece of armor, and then two more that will give you a total of how many of each material you need across all of your in-progress enhancements.

I split monster parts into its own tab because the in-game sorting for monster parts is by the function of the part (all eyeballs are together, then all wings, then "sharp" parts, "crushing" parts, etc). It seemed much more intuitive for this kind of a tool to instead organize them by the monster you're getting them from instead, so you can go, "Oh wow I need a lot of lizalfos talons, and horns from 3 different kinds. I better go genociding hunting where there are a lot of different lizalfos!"

Idk man maybe it makes sense to move to a separate site to get out from under the thumb of youtube and advertisers but I think what's upsetting people is that it feels like so many people are doing this, and they're all asking for 5 or 6 dollars a month, which adds up quick. And like other people have said, dropout has a shit ton of content, plus a bunch of new stuff every week. Watcher doesn't have that same output, but they're asking for more money?
