Can we please talk about how walking is super healthy for you? I think we should talk about how walking is super healthy for you.
Like dude some people act like the only way to be healthy is to do crazy cardio. Like girl. No. Simply going for a short walk every day is not only gonna make your general mood a lot better but also it’s exercise! It’s your daily exercise checkpoint! It counts towards your working out points!
If you can’t swim, run. If you can’t run, jog. If you can’t jog, walk. Even the smallest amount of physical activity can be beneficial to you!
People who can’t walk I love you too and I am opening a window in your house during the warmer days so you can at least get the fresh air. Because that’s the most important thing, the air! The exercise is just a bonus

connect with nature
to connect with nature is to engage with the natural world. it is about establishing a meaningful relationship with nature, appreciating it and experiencing a sense of unity and connectedness.
allowing yourself to connect with the natural world can have many benefits, such as reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood, enhanced cognitive function and improvements in physical health.
time spent in nature can reduce cortisol levels (the hormone associated with stress). natural settings help to foster a better mood and feelings of happiness. after five minutes in a forest surrounded by trees, the heart rate slows, facial muscles relax and the prefrontal cortex quiets.
some physical benefits of connecting with nature include reduced inflammation and well-balanced heart conditions. being in nature; and being outside allows us to absorb adequate vitamin d.
the experience can also boost creativity and inspiration, foster a greater appreciation for the environment, improve social connections and build a sense of belonging and peace.
incorporating nature into your daily routine can be simple and rewarding. engage in activities such as sunrise (or sunset) watching, nature journaling, or simply going for walks to experience some of the many benefits.
take time to slow down when you do this and engage your senses to make the most of the experience.

Sitting on top of a cliff at 9pm with this view all to myself. Just the sounds of the waves and the cruising seabirds was utterly perfect.
