Here’s my last page from #messypages by @tanyaleekahler @getmessyartjournal that I created using techniques I learned in the class and put to use after it locked me out. this was a collage mixed media page using a cut out sketch inspired by @studio.katie (mine is a bit sad/in need of improvement but it’s ok it’s an art journal after all) I originally made some marks of oil pastel and brushed watercolour ink on top of it making the background, after sketching and cutting out the girl I took some Matte medium and brushed it down sticking it to the page, it’s a pretty simple page but I like it, especially since I experimented more with oil pastels and ways to use them! Completed collage/art journal! This was what I used for #getmessycollageclub in 2020. At the end of the year, I had some extra pages left... I finally pulled it off the shelf, glued a bunch of pages together, and used images from the book we used in 2020 (National Geographic photos) to add more collages.
