#10. What's an au you have for them?

Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).

In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...

Augh my friend Imp wrote an absolutely excellent fic about it (tragically in the realm of unfinished Google docs) and I'm shaking their hand about it so hard. I like to imagine he opens his eyes when his rage gets too high. Like when his opens you know you fucked up and he can state at you with his cold cruel eyes that don't fit his uwu old skrunkly man face. :3c. Slight C/W for typical Val behaviour

Angel kicked his feet idly where they hung off the arm of the lobby sofa as he scrolled through his socials. He'd only just been able to start moving around without a limp that morning after Val had damn near broken his leg and while he was happy for the break (hah!) from work, he was now starting to go slightly stir crazy after being housebound for two days after Val had decided he was useless while one of his legs was twice the size of the other.

He scowled to himself as he shifted around slightly. He was pretty sure that was a spring digging into the small of his back but he couldn't muster the energy to rectify it - as Hell's most famous pornstar, he'd been in way more uncomfortable positions - he could live with something that wasn't a dick poking him in the back until someone or something gave him a worthwhile reason to move.

"Hey, Legs."

Angel yelped and cursed in quick succession as the sudden appearance of the hotel's resident cat demon made him promptly drop his phone onto his face.

"Asshole." He grumbled, rubbing the bridge of his nose, "First ya ditch me, and then ya make me injure myself. I should make ya kiss it better."

"It's not ditchin' ya if it was work." Husk answered as he placed the new bottles on the bar top, "As for the other thing, can I substitute one of those cups of sugar masquerading as a drink?"

Angel sat up to peek over the back of the sofa. Sure enough Husk was stood holding out a hot pink frappe from his favourite coffee place, an eyebrow raised as he shook the cup slightly, enticingly, "Well?"

"I've told ya you're my favourite, right?" Angel asked, making grabby hands until Husk handed it over, the smell of artificial raspberry filling his nose. "What's in the other bag?"

"Nothin' much. You wanna hang out in my room for a while?"

Angel blinked, finger still in his mouth as he paused in licking off melted whipped cream from where it had run down the side of the cup, "Ain't we got another redemption exercise or hugging circle or some shit in like, 5 minutes?" Not that Angel was complaining; Charlie had used his unexpected freetime to really double down on his possible redemption. Whatever had been said in that meeting with Heaven making her more determined then ever and if he had to look at one more crayon drawing or diagram he was going to start tearing his hair out - he may or may not have played up the whole wanting to rest up and heal thing once or twice, just to get her to leave him alone for 5 minutes (and God bless Vaggie for having his back on that one, even if the look she threw him told him she knew he was exaggerating and even though the princess was always quick to comply with minimal fuss and puppy eyes ever since the whole 'boundary crossing' thing).

Husk shrugged, holding out a hand, "Talked to Charlie earlier, we've both got a pass on this one."

"Fine." Angel took the hand without even thinking about it, gingerly testing his leg after laying down for so long - it still ached, but he didn't end up face planting or anything, "But if we end up having to do some weird extra credit thing later on, I'm blamin' you."

"Noted." Husk chuckled as he grabbed the mystery bag and headed upstairs, Angel's hand still in his.

Angel had only been in Husk's room a handful of times but he'd made a game of trying to see if anything was new or even remotely out of place whenever he entered. The small space was so uniformly neat and organised it was almost like a display rather than an actual living space. Part of Angel wondered if it was a control thing - he used to seek some semblance of control over what entered his body and when and what he'd remember through drink and drugs, why couldn't this be Husk's way? It seemed kind of funny now that the old him probably would've purposely moved things around or hidden something, just to fuck with the other.

"Sooo.... anything specific in that fuzzy head or ya just wanna bask in my presence?"

"So fucking humble." Husk opened up a laptop Angel hadn't noticed sat on the bed before now, "And I was thinkin' a movie. You in?"

"Sure. Surprised Al lets ya have one a those. Y'know, with the whole hatin' any tech after the 40's schtick." Angel said as he settled at the head of the bed, using one set of arms to attempt to plump up Husk's measly excuse for pillows.

"Borrowed it." Husk answered, not giving any details about who from (although Angel had a pretty solid idea if the rainbow and heart stickers were anything to go by).

"Oh my fuckin' God. How dense is this broad?" Angel laughed, throwing his head back against Husk's shoulder after having decided the cat was comfier to lean on than his flat pillows, Husk's arm resting on the low headboard behind them, "The guy's been pining since like, day one!"

"I think the dialogue's maybe one step up from the shit they have you spewin' and that's a low fuckin' bar!"

"Hey, it's all in the delivery, an' I got toys that ain't as stiff as these two." Angel crunched on a strawberry lollipop as the two protagonists acted out yet another 'cute' encounter like they had a gun pointed at their heads, "Y'know I'm surprised ya agreed ta this one. I didn't think it'd be your kinda thing."

"It ain't, but the fact it's so bad it's funny is makin' it bearable."

Angel hummed in agreement, snuggling further into Husk's chest fur as the female protagonists stereotypical gay BFF was laying the truth out for her in that the casual 'not a date' had totally been a date.

"Girl, he invited you over, made sure you weren't going to be interrupted, got you your favourite foods -"

Angel snuck a glance at the various wrappers covering the bed after he'd finally been given permission to dump out the contents of the bag.

"Jeez Husk, you raid a candy store an' just grab anythin' pink?"

"...no."

"Oh my god, you just grabbed anythin' pink!"

"I didn't know what you'd like. Seemed a safe bet."

"Well, well, ain't we the cocky one? Ya that sure I was gonna say yes? And ya bet payed off, just so ya know."

"-sat through something he knew would make him want to gouge his eyes out 'cos he knew you'd like it. How many more clues do you need?!"

Angel blinked, this insult to romcoms suddenly feeling a little too on the nose. Husk clearly felt the same if the way he was suddenly showing great interest in the acid rain falling outside was any indication.

"Wait...Husk, is this a date?"

Husk's tail twitched as he bought his attention to the other demon, cheeks slightly pink under his fur and ears dipped slightly, "It can be, if ya want. Or it can just be two friends hangin' out, rippin' a terrible movie to shreds. Your call."

Angel moved slowly, partly because of his leg and partly because he didn't want to spook the other as he sat himself in Husk's lap, mindful not to let his expression slip into the lewd mask he usually had to wear when he was practically straddling someone on a bed as he cupped Husk's jaw so the cat couldn't look anywhere but at him, "Yeah. I want."

Yeah, it's mine! Probably should've specified in the post LOL. IIRC that particular painting was inspired at least vibe-wise by the arctic spires and crystal cave biomes from subnautica below zero because I was obsessed with it during quarantine- I started sketching in class and then it turned out a lot better than I expected and I had to finish it instead of paying attention to the professor, it's still one of my favorite paintings I've done even 2 years later I'm really proud of it :3c

Okay, first things first, first question about Joan, holy shit!!

Ahem, anyway, lil bit of backstory, before the whole Bishop thing (Häxa Joan’s life be almost the same as Kuno Joan’s honestly-) and her sisters dying, back in Sweden, Joan used to be a pretty active member in the town she and her sisters lived in. She was still pretty temperamental but fair and collected most of the time. She sometimes trained people who wanted to learn how to protect the town and she did damn well doing so! She helped out often with chores like carrying heavy stuff since she is the most physically strongest of the sisterhood, get things from high places cause she tall (lol-) and often went to grab ingredients that her sisters needed for potions and stuff. She also took care of kids even if she wasn’t the most fond, they were better than some travelers she had to deal with. Her life was mostly calm until that day with the Old Faith.

Post-Bishop times, Häxa rarely takes off her hat, afraid that if she lets her guard down, someone will get hurt. Months, maybe even years pass and she is still wearing the identity of Häxa every day. She is still grieving and is angry at herself for not saving her sisters so you may always see the golden cat-like slit glowing in the dark due to said rage. So, as Häxa, she is just a very angry lady who almost forgets who she is outside the hat and forgets that sleep is needed. However, once meeting First Ninja and Miori and starting to cope with the loss of her sisters after years of grieving, she starts going out as a civilian more, not often, but at least sometimes, she spends more time in her hut. She is cold and more temperamental than before, the littlest things can set her off but she trying to work on that. One thing is for sure, she makes sure never to blow up at a child. Never to a child, they don’t know any better…

Also, she probably got into a pub fight after someone wanting a fight broke a bottle of sake on her head. Didn’t really hurt due to Häxa magic and stuff but she was PISSED!

Headcanon Game - A to Z (NSFW)

Another episode of 'nobody asked for it, but I made more headcanons for Katya'.

I mean, she has been developed for a long time and her persona now is much better than before, but I noticed that I never questioned about her sexual life. And like... she's my creature.

So there is a long post below, and that's funny that I didn’t get embarrassed at all writing it. I'm growing up lol

A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)

After catching her breath, Ekaterina will bring water for both of them (probably the water jar is already on the sidebed table), and check how her partner is feeling. If she isn't too much exhausted, she can manage to cast some healing spells to close accidental scratches and bite marks (if the other person doesn't refuse it). They will probably have some pillow talk until one of them fall asleep first (and she does it often).

B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)

Her hips. In a harsh land like Irrisen, having wide hips means high chances of have healthy children, so despite the elder druids preaching against her, Katya knows very well she got attention of some boys (and girls) of her community because of them. immortal. they really dont want to be though(L). i'll hopefully make a better information thing about how that works in the future, but for now you get this: there are technically a few ways for them to be not immortal anymore, one being to give the immortality "curse"(which is what i'll be calling it from now on) to someone else, the other is having someone else who has the curse basically ripping it out of them. with the first method they would age normally from where they left off and just be kinda normal-ish, but the second would kill them instantly. when someone gets the curse they become stuck at whatever age they were when they got it(both mentally and physically. this is how ali is both 16 and millions of years old at the same time) and their body cannot change in certain ways(no scars(except for what killed them, if they got the curse from being killed and infected) actually the scars thing was the only one i really thought about. something something no change is permanent, no marks or blemishes remain, unchanging husk of a person, haha angst). there are also two ways to get the curse, someone who has it gives it to you and loses it themself, or someone kills you and infects you with it(which can sometimes happen unintentionally depending on the person(ali has not, to their own recollection, ever done this. and if they have they very quickly corrected their mistake(probably through murder))). also the curse basically inflicts eternal bloodlust(not really sure how to phrase it lol), so anyone who has it has constant uncontrollable urge/need to killing murder(and also eating people). for some reason(probably something to do with them being one of the first to get the curse and/or partially the fact that they killed the god that made it) ali manages to not succumb to that and is fairly in control most of the time, though they do have that urge(and they do killing murder, but like. by choice. and not random innocent people or whatever). after learning about how shit works ali took it upon themself to wipe out every cursed immortal so that no one else would have to suffer eternal life having to kill people against their will(or if they kill people willingly/are not willing to give up the immortality ali just takes it by force. though they do prefer not having to do that, and most people who get the curse dont end up wanting to keep it(if they ever wanted it in the first place). also ali didnt know about the "giving up the curse to someone else" thing for a long time so they did just kill a lot of the people lol). when someone gets the curse they also kind of become something technically different, example ali used to be human but because of the curse they technically arent anymore. the curse basically makes them a whole new thing. any name this thing may have had before is long forgotten and ali cannot be assed to come up with a new word for it

extra thangs:

ali(short for alias) isnt their actual name. it is (haha) an alias. they dont remember their old name and dont care enough to try to come up with a new one to permanently go by. they kind of cycle through random names(one of which was dun. short for dunno lol)

gender: who cares

sexuality: no

doesnt actually like killing/hurting people, but its pretty much become a part of who they are now and violence is very useful for getting shit done

helped many revolutions, ruled a few kingdoms(kind of. mostly a figurehead/symbol, but tends to be very involved in whats happening with citizens so nobody fucks anything up. it usually starts sneakily but people usually figure out its them pretty quick, and the weird ruler/god/whatever coming by the local cafe for a nice chat and a cup of tea is just normal)

raised a kid for a few years once. did a pretty alright job considering the circumstances. kid ended up hating them though(reason for that wasnt related to how they raised them, but because of the circumstances that led to ali raising them(in a war, some asshole military guy wiped out the kids town before he could be unmilitaried, because military guy was under ali's command they were widely considered responsible for it)

would probably be a lot more stable if they werent resisting the killing murder eating people

has killed several gods. including the one that originally made the whole immortality thing(which didnt used to have the extra effects of craving violence always, that was actually something that was added because said god got really pissed or something. theres a whole origin story there that i dont have the energy to explain)

got a fun extra thing(likely gotten from the whole "killed the god that made them immortal" thing) where when they kill someone/something powerful enough they might get one of that someone/somthing's abilities. but they dont ever really use the abilities because it feels awful and makes it harder for them to keep control

gets wings sometimes. the amount of time they have the wings for varies a lot, and usually they only lose the wings when they are literally torn off

acts like a freak on purpose to try to prevent people from caring about them

so fucking tired all the time. this bitch gets no sleep ever

witness to many many many many many horrors

does not in any way see themself as a god/higher being of any sort. sometimes people will think they're a god or something and they dont like it, they are just a guy who happens to have weird shit going on and is immortal

theres definitely more stuff i could put in here but i cant think of it rn. i also made something i intended to be an ali ask blog but the chances of ever being able to use it are very low because there probably wont be enough people seeing it to make it work ;w; (the blog is @ali-alias)

Ohhh I loved so much your power system!

Some questions:

1-Do the powers have any other evolutions (such as for example ladybug being able to create what she wants), or is it limited to the basic power?

2-Is the turtle more in the Yin side? And are the Metal and Wood kwamis linked to any seasons? (I didn't find it written anywhere)

3-When the wonder is destroyed, does the kwami gets destroyed too or is it like the series where they go to the not physical world?

4-in the drawing you made of water ladybug is she using the dragon potion?

5-Are ALL wonders from the main box able to break each other, or (in the example you gave) for example if the turtle tries to break wonders with the same amount of power (the 5 elements) it can, while if it tries to break the 2 main ones it can't?

Lastly, are you open to ideas of maybe the other potions of the other zodiac wonders you didn't think of?

I feel like the creation could be fun! The only issue with that is that I can't for the life of me figure out a parallel power for Black Cat. Another destructive power... ehhhh. I was thinking of additional forms though! Something not zodiac-wonder based. One that would make the user even more "animalistic" or give them even more abilities. Ex. Ladybug/Butterfly would be able to fly naturally, Felines would have advanced senses etc.. It's something that came up when I was thinking about more body-horror versions of the heroes for fun. Then again, I'm still thinking when It could be used in the story. It'll remain a concept for now.

Turtle is more on the Yin side, despite the fact that its main power is to create. Not everything can line-up, but If you stretch it far enough you can say that maybe It's to shield from destruction. Metal is generally a declining stage in the Wuxing, which might not be represented well in the Wonder itself, but perhaps rather in its main user - Master Fu. I mean he is really old so like.. Anyway, metal is associated with Autumn, West and overall dry weather while Wood is linked to spring and windy weather! I read all about it on the wikipedia page :)

I haven't thought about it, but I think It'll be better If the Kwami's physical form is destroyed too. Kwamis are cosmic-like entities, but when their link to earth (through artifact) is severed, they can no longer connect to it. Perhaps other Kwamis will be able to communicate with them still, but they will likely not regain the form we know them by. I like the idea that death is permanent though :3c

It was actually just a doodle for the water power-up! I didn't really think about If It would appear or be used. Besides, I havent really thought about effects of the dragon potion on the Balancing Wonders.. I think It'd be a better If only secondary wonders could use it, forcing ladybug to grab an additional superhero when it's needed

That really depends. Turtle would be able to theoretically use its shield to destroy it by continuous smashing, but Fox wouldn't really have the power to break it, the energy blast wouldn't be powerful enough even when an enhancement potion is consumed. When It comes to how hard it is to destroy the main wonders, I definitely think It's going to take much more than just impact due to their connection to literally laws of physics. Besidesz being connected means destroying one destroys both of them so If anyone did manage to destroy ex. Ladybug's, both would fade to dust.

For the last question, yes I am! I think It could be super interesting to see what others could come up with :O Maybe It could even be used in the story better than the ones I had in mind....

Okay, streaming wishlist/checklist so far:

Playlist track info bar (since I have confirmation now that vg music is basically safe)

Follower and Subscriber notification sounds (thinking Ghaleon's coming out party speech and "My, haven't you been busy beavers.")

Custom chat text-to-speech bots >:3c (definitely John Truitt as Ghaleon, and maybe John Rhys-Davies' narrator voice from QfG4... oohh Jonathan Frid's Barnabas Collins would also be fun & probably make a very robust TTS, since they made him talk A LOT on Dark Shadows... So I'll probably start off with the easiest(???), which would be Ghaleon, since the volume of voiced lines available is pretty small/less overwhelming.)

Sew my frankensteinian seat cushion together/to my chair, so I don't have to keep readjusting the damn things. With extra stuffing/batting.

Continue to research better office chairs tho.

Eventually get a capture card so I can play console games from the comfort of my couch hahaha

Or possibly set up a kitty webcam?? :3c

Also, physical crafts cam would be great.

Eventually upgrade pc game controller from 20 year old Logitech PS2-style controller to something with a few more programmable buttons

Eventually get a better mic/headset?

Eventually get a new monitor, maybe sooner than later since current one is developing... quirks. Also it'd be nice to get a matched pair or double length monitor in order to fit all the streaming backend stuff. My current monitor is Itty-bitty.

I got a massive case of art block and haven't had the motivation to draw for a few months, I did make a few things though !!

This demon guy !! He's one of my favorite ocs Devil and I actually drew him last night at like 2 am but I couldn't stop cause I was finally able to draw something !! I started rping with him when he was but a skroingly little fella and he's grown up a bunch so I drew him as a mature young man here, it's only a screenshot though cause idk if I can show him fully shirtless ?? ?? LMK IF YOU WANNA SEE THOUGH cause Im v proud of how it came out ! !!!!!!

Here's my current wip drawing wise !!! This is a new oc named Neytiri (I forgot where I got the name but apparently it's from avater ?? i love that movie so much but I don't remember any of the names :(( ) He's a priest that was cast out of his home town and CAPTURED by vampires in a spooky vampire castle. His scar is supposed to kinda look like a cross but idk if that came out so well ?? and it made his hair line all funkied up :(

That's basically all I did this month but I also painted !! I was feeling kinda stuck and I bought guache a few months ago so I tried to make a little portrait !! !! I think it could be better but it's pretty cool for my first try :] it wasn't supposed to be purple also I just forgot to mix yellow back in when I was mixin more paint lol
