All about the 知足 ( Contentment ) audio recording : CPN + lyrics analysis 🎧

everything here is not 100% verified so don’t take it as truth. there are screenshots and speculations but this is not me confirming anything. interpret it as you will. the audio recording is floating around in other platforms but i won’t share it here.

There was a rumor before that after the 2019 DDU filming, they all went to a KTV to celebrate. That’s GG/Web as well as TTXS brothers and probably other staff. This is where this was sang and recorded. Allegedly.

Then in 2020, it seems like GG’s QQ account uploaded the recording. The run time is 1.18! 18! Yibo! and it’s in a playlist called 95. If you don’t know the importance of 95 to the fandom, read here.

After a short while, it was deleted even if people were able to like it and comment. This is the part I really can’t confirm cause I didn’t see it myself. Also we don’t know if it’s intentional on GG’s part and his team. Plus the fact that it was deleted says something. If you listen to the audio, it’s actually just GG you can clearly hear and Web very faintly. Considering the time it was uploaded (10/2020) tho GG had been coming back around this time, it’s still not a good move to have something out there that can potentially attract antis. People noticed Yibo’s voice so I think it’s one of the reason why it was deleted, to not bring Yibo to a potential issue.

2021, it made the rounds again because it was re-uploaded by fans. It’s just my personal stance to not share it in big platforms. I think it’s perfectly fine to keep a copy for yourself then listen and cry lol. We don’t know who uploaded it and why. If this was recorded during a private get together, I don’t think we should be listening to it. Tho how it was sang was so beautiful. 🤍 I will never wish to get a private recording of them audio or video when they are in a place where they are with friends no matter how much it feeds the cpn machine. I hope they can get the privacy they need when they are together and when they are with friends/family without being filmed and followed. Look at how people were following GG and his family in Sanya when he was on vacation. So yeah. There are things that we will never know and that’s fine. No need to dig.

2022, I think around 3AM ish, people were posting that it was re uploaded in Kugou Music ( a music platform kinda like spotify ) and the difference? The artists tagged are both XZ/WYB.

It was not uploaded by the boys’ artist account or anything. People rushed over to listen to it and save somehow because it may be taken down again. Lol. I honestly have no idea how this got that high on hot search. Is it a slow day today? But if you think about it, anything with XZ and WYB on it is bound to be talked about. It stayed there for a while so people just started using the HS spot for BAH and YGY. In BJYX ST, it was announced to not talk about CPN. Even if you look at entertainment blogs who shared it, most of the comments are saying something like — “it’s nothing~”.

I honestly like how the fandom handled this incident overall. I’ve said this before, there are times when we should keep quiet about CPN. This audio does not prove a romantic relationship or what. It’s an audio of them singing, that’s all. The last thing Xiao Zhan needs right now is a negative HS. Even if this is not exactly harmful, but well, if the whole CP is dragged into it then it’s gonna be an issue. CP things should be kept in our circle only. 🤍

About the whole “claiming” the music thing. I found this but I can’t verify how true. Or if XZ/WYB are even looking at this and giving resources to claim certain things.

What does Kugou Music claim work mean?

Kugou claiming the work means that Kugou has not officially obtained the copyright of the music and the music copyright does not belong to Kugou. Then, the user cannot play, download and listen to the music.

This requires the original author of the work to claim the music and grant the copyright to Kugou before users can play, listen and download normally.

I think this is why people are saying the boys claimed it because you can play it normally and download it. This is all speculation with “facts” that we have but the only “official” songs are the ones personally endorsed by the two.

Also this is the platform’s terms and conditions. You can study it if you want, but i’m not gonna think too much about that. It’s pretty obvious, the HS stayed and the track is still there as of writing. No clarifications of any kind was posted. There are things that these two do or don’t that prove how they have no problem being associated to each other once in a while. If they really hate e/o, then they can scrub everything out. Or have their fan accounts refute rumors or whatever. Lol.

Now that we have the whole CPN history out of the way, let’s do a mini analysis of the song and why they chose it. The song is bittersweet, which is their favorite type of track so that may be one factor.

Ah~ the good old summer breeze, that summer of 2018. Lol. not much to add here so I’ll just reference this post again. The song as well as how it relates to the Japan cpn.

I am interpreting this in XZ’s POV, since he was the one actively singing the song. I’m imagining that summer when GG was exposed to Web’s sweet smiles. This person who everyone said was cold/aloof, but turned out to always be the one who makes him laugh. who smiles at him. Even beyond that summer, the whole 2019 promos, Web was smiling at him.

If we’re working on the timeline that they fell in love that summer, GG is not sure how he can keep someone like Yibo in the long run. Their lives are too complicated and it must have felt like wishful thinking that they can have a relationship.

This gives me such a vivid picture, the day on that hill feels like the day when they went to take photos of the Windmills. The last day of filming when they sang White Windmill and Bobo looked like he was gonna cry.

Aight its time to say it

Warning: Anti BoruSara post, dont like dont read.

Aight enough time has passed and now its long overdue to be said so Im gonna be the one to burst the bubble since nobody else is.

Sarada's actions in 78 did not solidify BoruSara because it mirrored the NH moment in the Pain arc, it actually did the OPPOSITE and showed how flimsy the ship actually is and how weak Sarada's feeling for him are.

People love this argument of 'love makes you act irrationally so that proves Sarada's feelings are more real/stronger than Sumire's because she acted reckless like Sakura and Hinata did while Sumire stayed behind and did nothing'

Now at first glace that does seem to be the case, but after the initial shock has worn off and you actually reread the chapter with a much clearer head, you realize how much damage this actually did to both the ship and Sarada's character.

Now what do I mean? to see the problem you just have to answer one simple question, what is the one major difference between the moment with NH and the one with Bsa? the answer is Pay Off.

What do I mean by that? lets compare the two side by side and all will become clear.

Aight I think it should be clear now, notice the difference? yea, the very scene they claim solidified the ship actually weakened it, the very scene they said solidified Sarada's feelings as more 'real' than Sumire because she acted irrationally, actually showed how flimsy her feelings really are compared to Sumire.

It's true that Sumire staying behind could give that impression, but at the same time people get on Hinata's case all the time here for how stupid her actions was and how she actually made the situation WORSE rather than better by jumping into a situation she knew she couldnt win and made Naruto snap so bad that if not for Minato's fail safe it would've been GGs for everybody and Naruto would've died by undoing the seal.

But Im not here to criticize Hinata right now, because all in all her actions were out of love right? thats the point of this post. So Sumire's actions actually make more sense than Hinata's was because she knew she didnt have a chance to begin with so why bother going there? just to get one shotted? what happened to Sarada is a prime example of WHY she was right not to go, because thats what happened.

But ok since yall wanna be hung up on girls inlove for real all acted irrational and ran to their mans rescue which solidified the ship, well this goes back to what I said the biggest and most important difference between all the other girls vs Sarada, and thats PAY OFF.

Still confused by what I mean? well I'll show you cuz it aint just NH, Sarada failed to be like ANY of the girls who acted irrationally and fought for their man, keyword FOUGHT.

The difference is night and day atp, when I say Pay Off I meant PAY OFF, and with BoruSara, unlike everyone else I showed, had zero pay off.

What do I mean by pay off? should be obvious by now but the answer is simple, when everyone else fought for their loves they actually FOUGHT, they didnt always win, but they TRIED there were ATTEMPTS made to protect them no matter HOW badly they got hurt. No matter HOW much stronger the enemy was than them they NEVER faltered when their love was in danger and were willing to fight tooth and nail to defend them as much as they were capable of doing.

THATS the sign of true love in the Naruto verse, not the foolishness yall try to make it as just acting irrational = true love, no, its ACTIONS which is something Sarada did not take.

The arguement of she was scared doesnt apply here, because if your gonna use this argument as proof it solidified Bsa then Im gonna use it to prove why it didnt. EVERYONE was scared in those moments but it didnt stop them, they didnt back down, they fought for their loves REGARDLESS of how scared they were, even knowing that they could die they still jumped in head first and FOUGHT.

I dont care how you try to twist it, turn it, flip it or reverse it, if your gonna use this argument then you gotta use it all the way, dont just talk about the irrationale, talk about the actions, or in Sarada's case lack thereof.

If you need more proof of how bad this looks on Bsa and just how this moment proves how not strong Sarada's feelings for him is, you need look no further than Haku.

I mean nuff said right there, Naruto learned where true strength comes from from Haku, which is that when you have someone whos precious to you, romantic or platonic, thats when you can truly become strong, as strong as you need to be, and this is shown time and time again all throughout Naruto through multiple characters who overcame their fears and fought for who was precious to them, unleashing a whole new strength they didnt know they had. It didnt always have to be some brand new ability, but simply just having the courage to put your life on the line for that dear person was enough to solidify who really mattered.

This is what kills Bsa in that moment, not saying the ship is dead obviously, but that moment killed it in terms of perception and their relationship as a whole. We can keep HEARING how deep their bond in, how close they are, how much they mean to eachother, but if you dont show it and instead show the opposite then people will have a hard time believing their actually as close as we're being told they are.

Just imagine Naruto talking about how much Iruka and Team 7 mean to him but we never see any strong actions that proved it, would you still believe their his closest bonds? if Naruto still says Sasuke is like a brother to him, would you still believe that if they barely showed the two of them bonding and being close like sibling? pretty sure you wouldnt, thats why its important to SHOW DONT TELL, because if all your doing is telling people but not showing them your definitely not gonna convince them that anythings really there like you say it is.

Even her bs MS isnt an example, because for every MS there was emotion and build up and the situation was centered around that character, it was THEIR big moment, a moment that showed just how much the person who triggered it meant to them, which is why yall like to use that as proof as well but even that just goes to show how weak her feelings are in the eyes of the narrative and mangaka himself. Sarada's MS is on the same level as Sasuke's half hearted sorry to Karin, it was short, rushed, moved right past like it wasnt a big deal and just went onto the next thing because her MS wasnt important for her character or the plot or even her feelings for Boruto, no what it was is plot convenience.

Plot convenience to convince Sasuke to save Boruto because he wouldnt have believed her otherwise, he needed to see her MS to convince him that if what shes asking is strong enough to trigger that then she must be telling the truth, thats literally the only purpose her MS served, a half assed way for Boruto to be saved, same way Sasuke's apology was a half assed way to address his betrayal and get right back to the real important stuff aka the war.

Again this goes back to what I said about show dont tell, if you want people to believe her MS was triggered by her strong love for Boruto then you have to show it which they didnt, her MS literally ONLY APPEARS when shes trying to convince Sasuke to save him, it was literally a deus ex machina because her eyes didnt budge an inch before then, it was literally ONLY when convincing Sasuke that her MS triggered, do you get just how bad that is yet? that her MS had nothing to do with her character, her growth, her feelings, her bond with Boruto, but just as a plot convenient way to bail Boruto out and then move on like she didnt just awaken a major power up? do you not see how pathetic that is?

I cant make it any clearer, 78 killed BoruSara's credibility as the most solidified ship, and her MS awakening purely out of plot convenience rather than actual emotion and then moved on from like it was nothing just killed it even more.

3 years have passed now and during a huge invasion with an Jigen level threat she doesnt even activate her MS once, and you want me to believe her MS awakening was a really big deal for her character and their relationship? this just proves it even more that the MS really was just plot convenience for Boruto to be saved, thats it, it had nothing to do with her character or her feelings etc, it was literally just a deus ex machina to keep Boruto alive into the timeskip.

It is INSANE to me how people see either of these scenes as solidification for the ship, all it did was prove how flimsy Sarada's feelings for him are and vice versa but thats a topic for another day, this post is just focused on Sarada.

When Boruto was about to be killed by Kawaki she blew one fireball and then buckled under pressure when it was time to actually square up and needed to be saved instead

When everybody was hunting Boruto down she just fell to her knees and cried, even after hearing him say hes going to kill Boruto she did not try to stop him and just sat there crying, and had Sasuke not shown up, she STILL would've been sitting there crying and Boruto would've been killed

Her MS doesnt awaken behind any emotion surrounding Boruto, but purely as a means to make Sasuke go and save him, yet she takes zero action herself to try and protect him and it literally took Sumire spelling everything out to her for her to even try to convince her dad in the first place, if not for Sumire Sarada was all ready to fall apart again and just sit there and cry until Sumire said they need to find a way to save Boruto but she doesnt know how they can which is when Sarada got the idea to ask her dad for help

Which leads me to my next point, since we established Sarada's feelings werent proven to be real or stronger than Sumire's, how does Sumire fair in comparison? well you can probably already guess but these chapters actually solidified BoruSumi alot despite Sumire not stupidly jumping into a losing fight.

How exactly? well lets start with 78, Sumire is being smart about the situation, she knows she cant help even if she tried, but she also knows reinforcements are on their way to help, so its not as if she left Boruto to fend for himself but she KNEW there were people on their way to go help him, her going there would just be in their way.

Sumire was actually trying to explain the situation to Sarada but she freaked out and Shikamaru gave the bare minimum run down of what happened and then she ran off, in this moment Sumire tries repeatedly to keep Sarada from stupidly running into danger but she doesnt listen. There are 2 reasons for Sumire not acting, 1 she knew she couldnt do anything anyway, and 2 because their supposed to be pretending to be under Ada's charm, so leaving Ada behind to go chase after Boruto would be highly suspicious since remember, their supposed to be charmed by Ada, so Boruto being in danger shouldnt pull them away from Ada if their both 'inlove' with Ada now.

You could argue the mission shouldnt have been more important than her love for Boruto but my response is why shouldnt it be? they NEED Ada to believe their affected because by them being the only 2 who arent means their the only ones who can take her out, blow their cover and Daemon will be on their ass like a hawk. Sumire rather than thinking in the moment, she thought long term, she knew people were on their way to help, and she knew she had to keep playing along to make Ada think she's affected, which would have been suspicious if she ran away with Sarada too leaving Ada behind.

But ok lets say I give you that and agree it wasnt a good look, lets move onto 79-80

Once Ada is GONE Sumire wastes NO time taking action, she immediately puts together what happened and contacts Sarada, SHE'S the one with a clear head with her entire focus on saving Boruto, she's running to meet up with Sarada so they can do something to help him even though she's unsure of what they CAN do, shes still going there to try and think of SOMETHING.

If Sumire never had this convo with Sarada she would have NEVER thought of asking Sasuke for help, it was only thanks to Sumire's explanation and level head that made Sarada act, not through any mental strength or determination of her own, but because of Sumire snapping her out of it.

As much as I hate this for Sarada's character making her this stupid and emotional, it was great characterization for Sumire that really showed her strong feelings for Boruto. She held herself back in order to play along with Ada, but as soon as that was no longer in her way she immediately took action, her mind was clear despite the chaos and she was determined to figure out a way to save Boruto with Sarada even though she had no idea how they could, she was still running over there to try.

So if you wanna be technical then thats closer to all the other moments of people fighting for their loved ones, none of them really knew how they would succeed or if they even could but they were willing to try anyway, and had Sarada not have thought of convincing Sasuke to go save him there's no doubt in my mind that Sumire would've looked for and found and protected Boruto, or atleast try.

But that falls into theory territory since we'll never know for sure how'd that play out cuz things didnt go that way, but you can just look at how the scene played out and see she was determined and planning to help Boruto in any way she could while Sarada was just on the ground falling apart doing nothing to try and help him.

Which goes right back to what I said, when its time for Sarada to act and prove her feelings, romantic or platonic or otherwise, she buckles under pressure, this is something even her own mother and father were able to overcome for their precious bonds, Sarada literally just sat there in despair despite knowing her childhood friend was in danger.

Sumire who's not even shown to be a fighter in the manga [yet] still got moving and kept her head on straight enough to analyze the situation and act accordingly, but Sarada the active ninja whos been through equally stressful situations before now and kept her head on straight now cant? yea, I think its obvious whose feelings are being pushed as genuine and more along what Haku described and whos isnt.

I really need to say no more, I already know antis gonna hate me for this if they read it but hey the truths the truth, when a girl or anyone for that matter in the Narutoverse is truly inlove they always take ACTION no matter what when that love is in danger, Sarada did not, case closed.

PS: All you Sumire/BoruSumi antis really need to thank Sumire, because if not for her your ship would've died, literally, because Sarada was really gonna let him die by not doing anything to help, so yall need to be grateful, she gave yall your 'moment'.

The thing about Luz and Hunter that drives me insane to this day is when they’re in Belos’ memory where he’s all “I’m here to save you from wild magic because I am kind and benevolent” Hunter kinda elbows Luz with this teasing smile and says “see? He’s fine” and there’s like nothing mocking about it. it’s not a hah I’m right you’re wrong it’s a so genuine like he so wants them to be on the same side and be friends and the little nudge is so brotherly I want to SOB

I love the Luz and Hunter interactions in Hollow Mind. Like Hunter clearly has such a soft spot for Luz but he feels obligated to pretend he doesn't because she's a rotten little anti-monarchist and he's not supposed to approve of that. And she fucked up his whole mission. She ruined EVERYTHING. Getting them trapped in Belos's mind is literally putting them both in such deep shit that it's unthinkable. But he only manages to stay mad at her for less than a minute. I love the part after Darius, Raine and Eber flee and he's pissed that she fucked up his attempt at capturing them and while he's bitching her out, he tears off his mask so she can see his pissy face. I don't think it even occured to Hunter why he did that. It just came naturally. He's just so instinctively comfortable with Luz that he removed his whole GG persona to be like "No but forreal, what the fuck man?" Hunter's confidence comes from the mask and the sense of authority it gives him but he simply doesn't feel the need to be any of that while he's around her. It's just Luz, yknow? And then once he learns that Luz is tryna expose Belos as evil, he's not deeply disgusted by how blasphemous that is. He just laughs and teases her over it. In his mind, Luz isn't irredeemable. She's just misguided. (Sounds familiar.) And then he immediately gets distracted by some cool memories and starts yapping to Luz all about it. There is no prompting from Luz. Its all initiated by him. Hunter just likes to talk to her and share cool information with her. Because she is the only person who was ever interested in what he had to say, so he knows she's not gonna shut him down. Sadly remarking on people getting hurt, hyping up Belos like a fanboy, gushing about the day he inherited his staff. Hunter is so emotionally transparent in this scene. Because he's with Luz and he doesn't feel the need to mask himself. All he wanted was for Luz to see that Belos really was good because he liked her and didn't want to feel guilty for liking her. Plus he wanted her to see the light and not get herself hurt as a result. Belos was the way to safety in Hunter's eyes and he just wanted what he thought was best for Luz. Love that little smile and nudge, he's got nothing but affection for that girl.

I know this has been discussed before, but it’s interesting enough to me to be worth repeating . . .

The recent photos of Jared and Gen posing with others at the stem cell treatment facility as well as the photo of Jared and Gen at the coffee house chatting with the two women, leads me to believe that 1) the Padaleckis are down-to-earth enough that they venture out-and-about into the masses to live their lives; 2) the Padaleckis are famous enough (at least in their hometown of Austin) that they are recognized by people that they don’t know personally; 3) the Padaleckis are welcoming enough in their demeanor that people feel comfortable approaching them; and 4) the Padaleckis are human enough that they will engage with the common folk and pose for photos. This tells me a lot about Jared and Gen and who they are as people.

I have watched SPN and been a non-participating (lurker) part of the fandom for years, including at SPN_Goss and Tumblr, so I have seen a lot. I am not on FB, Instagram or Twitter, and I don’t follow any of the cast. I only see what’s posted on fan sites on Tumblr (some of which are admittedly anti-Jensen), so someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there are often similar sitings and interactions with the Ackles. This leads me to think that 1) the Ackles are not out-and-about as often; 2) the Ackles are not recognizable when/if they are out; 3) the Ackles are not as approachable if they are recognized; and 4) if the Ackles are approachable and engage, they may not consent to a photo or they may ask the person not to post the photo on social media. The only other reason I can come up with is that maybe people just don’t care, but I know that won’t go over well with the AAs.

This is just something that occurs to me every time I see a photo with Jared (and Gen) and a fan out in the wild. I love that he isn’t afraid to engage with people and I love that people always post about how kind and friendly he is. It does make me wonder about the comparisons between the two men though. Perhaps Jensen just isn’t as recognizable and famous as his super-fans think he is and perhaps Jared, with his more mainstream TV and film career, is.

I think there's a lot of truth in your observations. Thanks for sharing! To your question, I do follow some people who post Jensen and Jared fan interactions, and you're right that there are certainly more fan photos with Jared. Jensen content tends to come more from people he's worked with as opposed to fans out on the street.

There are definitely some interesting comparisons into how each couple handles recognition/fan interactions. Of course, I'm not going to say one way is better than the other as every celebrity should be allowed to interact within their comfort level. (And frankly, seeing how obsessed some of Jensen's fans are, I don't blame him for staying under the radar.) I do appreciate Jared and Gen's willingness to interact with fans and I hope someday I can meet them!

It's unsurprising how many comments I saw on photos from Jared's USO tour that mentioned different shows Jared's been on, including Gilmore Girls, SPN, Walker, Friday the 13th and House of Wax. It helps that GG and SPN frequently make the weekly top 20 of streaming shows. Jared is very recognizable despite looking nothing like his teenage self from GG!

A warm welcome to all fellow bxg/turtles who are coming from other social media! I have prepared you all a gift (especially for baby turtles!) and also decided to properly introduce myself to this fandom 💛

The Tumblr yizhan fandom had always been peaceful and is a peaceful place for fans of both gg and dd. From my experience, which is a bit limited (I tended to keep my interest in all things gg and dd offline and with my friends), this place had and has far less trouble than the Twitter fandom. I had always advocated for peace and to not engage antis so my advice to you is to curate your space and spare yourselves needless headaches by avoiding them entirely. We are fans of both gg and dd and that's all that matters.

Pay attention to tags because unlike Twitter, Tumblr heavily depends on tags. My advice to you is to follow tags that are of interest to you and to locate fellow bxg within them.

I've been keeping a list of background (ent. industry/politics/culture) posts for newcomers to yizhan. I am somewhat a person who tends to archive a lot of things and keep them organized and available at all times. A bit more about me: I just recently made this blog more ggdd-oriented but have been a fan of these two since late 2020. I'm an older turtle that had kept an eye on both of them yet had decided to essentially resurrect this old blog of mine and make it more ggdd-oriented. I will be here to stay as their fan (even if I get a bit busy) because I realized that connecting with fellow bxg outside of the friends I talk with would be a welcoming experience. I love them both equally and a lot (I share passions with both gg and dd; art, racing, dancing, etc.) and if you decide to follow me, I post under the "ragt speaks" tag where I'll either fawn over them separately or talk about candy. If you have any questions (be it that you're looking for something, want to get to know me more, want my opinion on certain topics, etc.) please feel free to ask me!

A few facts about me are that I have been learning Chinese for three years now (very slowly progressing but getting there), that I'm a lesbian, heavily into poetry, art and dramas.

her mother is a stay at home mom & her father is the ceo of a multimedia company (think conde nast). after the divorce, jinah's mother got a pretty sum, their marital home, a large af condo in gangnam-do, and full custody of jinah

her parents splitting lead to her self-destructive behaviour, lots of booze, lots of pills and lots of sex. by the time she was fourteen she was making visits to rehab (only those closest to her at the time know about this however, this is not common knowledge!)

her mother, too consumed by the shame and grief of a broken marriage, neglected jinah in those formative adolescent years. she was practically raised by the help and had very little intervention by her father than the odd lecture that was punctuated with the promise of a hefty cheque and a shopping spree. this meant that for her atrocities she was viciously rewarded

an awful flirt, she'll flirt with you and your dad too rip which is why when she sets her sights on her bff's boyfriend, she hardly contains herself. the blunder sees her lose all of her friends as they take her friend's side. did she feel bad about it at the time? perhaps, but not enough to apologise. like a politician she attemps to foist the blame on others. on her father, on her mommy issues, on mercury being retrograde (or perhaps it was venus?)

over the next ten years, jinah's entry into the fashion industry as model only seems to heighten her tenancious proclivities. caught in scandal after scandal, she's either on the blacklist or highly requested to work for certain fashion brands. she has no sudden plans to begin a journey of self-improvement but the infamy is taking a toll on her. perhaps gg sparks her redemption arc?

That big native Korean account (explainkm), antis and tkkrs attacked her bc she was the 1st who translated the "alcohol" part... then many more k-armys came forward and gave us the exact translation (with Korean and English subtitles) which proved explainkm translation XD also" and the beginning in the vid it sounds like Jk saying/asking st about Jimin but ofc it didn't get translated and neither jk "aigoo really? "..

ofc the cult opened their damn mouth saying jkkrs are twisting translations (imagine educating Koreans abt their own language).. ofc that "is it me or is it you" is fitting for them bc they are already twist it that Jkk barely met bc they didn't even recognise e/o... *facepalm... but screaming about tk arriving together (which is not true) and touching some1 shoulder for a photo is more romantic than giving bear hug XXX DDDDDDD "get out of your imagination" nation and the ones who are still saying that jk doesn't know jm phone number (bc of the mistranls which was debunked by the official translation and even jk himslef) have 0 right talking about mistranslations, twisting the narrative and lies when their whole ship narrative based on lies since tkk lies created her account in 2017 (few days after gcft bc she was that mad XDDD)

they attacked another big jkk account after Hobi live bc there was 2 translated version when Hobi talked about the vhk gathering and 1st version said "jk sang ots and jm songs" another version said: they ( tae and jk) sang ots and jm songs and this jkk account posted that jk sang jm sngs and she also get ratio'd bc she "left out" Tae on purpose to spread shipper narrative and called her Tae anti..just bc she saw the 1st version first she got excited and made a post abt it.. like imagine attacking a jkk focused account not involving other members.. also does it matter? It's still remains the fact that Jk did sang JM songs.. that 1,5 hours JM live JK did really got so many people mad, huh?? and there is cricket sounds when the cult cut Namgi out from the hs concert photos to spread the lie that only tk attented.. or when tkkrs blurring out jm from the vmk LA live..

On insta an ot7 non shipper account with lots of followers posted the jkk hug from bb and she had to close the comment section because of the hate like what the hell is this?? it's like.. mobbing istg... ot7 accounts don't dare even rt even the most innocent jkk moments bc they fear of tkkrs and fear of losing follwers (or secretly they are tkkrs...).. army is known for the fandom power and they fight with jimin haters from other kpop fans but not willing to solve the cult problem within the fandom?

on the vmin discourse.. on tw a vmin account apperead.. well, they are likely a troll and an anti jkker (and a jk anti..) saying that Tae showed more support to Face than JK bc Tae replied to a random post on weverse how he is looking forward to it.. so 1,5 hr live dedicated to jm and knowing the choreo and preaching smf pt2 and doing bg vocal in letters (and teasing about it hours b4 the album release) and congratulating jm for his music show win is irrelevant according to some ppl..ohhh and tae also posted about vibe in january so vmin bond is stronger than jikook :DDD yeah he posted about vibe which was a collab with another idol.. an idol from YG Entertainment.. let me think which gg is also in YG who also posted about Vibe?? also Letters tone and lyrics are similar to Friends? where in the world ?? Friends: vmin singing about their fight, their cute convos, etc and it's an official subunit song which you can stream..Letter: intimate tones, lyrics like: reach your hand out to me, we can cross oceans, stay by my side, never forget that we are together and you cannot stream it and it's a hidden song...

I was wondering if the boys see couple\sexual edits of them together and if it makes them nervous but then it hit me that they probably aren't seeing what i see on western social media. Do you have any idea if those types of homosexual posts get censored in China?

Hi Yingyangorly! Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying my blog!☺️

I have a huge long, like, ridiculously long post in my drafts related to this topic, hopefully coming soon.

But to answer your question, I think it's impossible that GG and DD would fail to see at least some of what's posted about them as a couple, whether sent to them by friends, family or staff, or whether stumbled upon or intentionally sought out/browsed by them. It's inevitable they'll see some of it, particularly things that get a lot of attention.

I talked about this a bit a while back. GG and DD have said in interviews that they have fake social media accounts (and of course they would - how could you go anywhere or do anything on social media without one if you were famous?), and this kind of discussion has happened somewhat in relation to fan comments, etc.

As for sexual edits, etc., like any other content I've no doubt they've seen some of it - it's inevitable they would - but I doubt it worries them all that much. It's highly unlikely to ever impact them directly, because ultimately it's not really about them, is it? It's about the creators who make it. Any backlash is more likely to fall upon creators, not GG and DD.

And just as a reminder - it's not illegal to be gay in China, it's not illegal to post homosexual content, etc. Such content is censored on TV and other broadcast media, but not online.

Porn is very illegal in China, but that's mostly only selectively enforced. In fact, China produces a lot of porn and a lot of smutty fiction and all of it is illegal, but it still manages to thrive fairly well.

Explicit content of any kind is technically not allowed on Weibo but it's still out there - although most of it is pretty toned down and tame. Actual porn of sexual activity isn't ubiquitous there, but lewd fan art, fan fic, edits and memes can often be found.

All platforms globally have rules against explicit content, and they're just as poorly enforced everywhere. I suspect a lot of that is because social media engagement makes money, and sex sells. It's not really in the interest of platforms to completely shut down all such content - even if it was possible to do so.

The supertopic rules likely have more impact on fan behavior in this regard than the Weibo TOS does. Those rules forbid mentioning GG and DD by name or tagging their accounts, and forbid sexualization, pornography, feminization and fixating on body parts. However, that's only within the supertopics. Ultimately people are free to post whatever they want on their own accounts, and they do.

Given how many antis and solos are out there trying to take down the turtle fandom, the fact that these things manage to stay up for as long as they do speaks to how weak the enforcement is. There are definitely people out there who will report things that offend them.

This is, in fact, how the whole 227 thing got started. A bunch of solos decided to report an explicit fanfic to the government, and things spiralled out of control from there.

Could lightning strike a second time and another 227 be sparked from some of this explicit content? For a lot of complicated reasons I'm not going to get into here (it would be a very long post), I don't think that's likely.

227 was a special, very complicated situation that I don't think is likely to happen the same way again. Timing and a lot of the other factors that played into its blowing up the way it did - all of that is unlikely to align in such a way. Especially since everyone in C-ent is a lot more cautious and vigilant after 227.

GG and DD are both in good standing with the government (as is evidenced by their inclusion in government and nationalistic projects), and that's a factor that will have some influence. And no doubt they and their teams have learned a lot from past experience, and have already planned for how to protect them in various scenarios that could arise.

They also have the power to have content relating to them removed, to sue content creators, to shut down the supertopics if they want to, etc.. If they feel at risk, they have a lot of recourse. The fact that we aren't seeing this happening should reassure us that it's probably fine.

We have to realize that GG and DD are surrounded by highly skilled, highly paid professionals whose entire job is to protect them and their interests. They're both in a much safer place than they were 4 years ago.

I trust them to know what's best for them and handle their affairs accordingly. We as fans shouldn't waste time hand-wringing over things that are completely outside our control.

As for what's within our control - it's up to every individual to make our own choices about how we'll represent GG and DD online.

Hi! I hope your month has been proceeding well. About your Xros Wars Legends AU, I find it ironic and hilarious that Daisuke, who's super sus about shady people, became a shady person himself in it, like, he just became what he is wary of. Also, I'd like to know your personal thoughts on Gulusgammamon, his role in the GG series, his relationship with Hiro and Gammamon too. Based on his angry disgusted look directed at Canoweissmon after they separated, I don't think he thinks highly of his white counterpart before the latter turned his philosophy against him. After that, it was a different tune. Do you think the Endbringer thread will be picked up in some future GG continuation? Was there even any foreshadowing for that plot drop? Eat fruits and sleep early!

Oh boy there's multiple questions there... I'll do my best to answer them all (^・ω・^ )

Well, that's something I didn't think of before, lol

Though in this AU setting he's being forced to be shady and sus. It's not something he enjoys or is proud of. Because he’s being hunted by the villains and mean spirited digimon who might want to sell him in the black market… And The Watchmaker kinda forced him to pull this shady role (except he only did that because he couldn’t turn his back on Taiki-Tagiru-Yuu at all)

About Gulus & my opinion on him and his role in GG:

I think I’ve talked about it before? Possibly in my post trying to explain what I got from the final episode. I don’t think Gulus was entirely vile, but more rather a creature who gained a twisted view of the world thanks to a traumatic experience. He lost his home planet and this set him into this idea of the world being a dog eat dog scenario. And then you have the sweet side of Gammamon, which is so naive and gentle… I prefer to not treat Gulus and Gammamon as a separate being – the episode showed a duality between both personalities in a more visual style, but might remind you that all of that battle and talk of “inner universes” are mostly in poetic and figurative way to express an inner battle happening inside Gammamon’s mind. In which yes, the kids and BloomLordmon managed to get inside Gammamon for a moment – and this is why you get Canowissmon and Regulusmon getting separated: it’s because it happens inside Gammamon’s mind.

Gulus in general was one of the things I was waiting for the Digimon franchise to do a long time ago: A kid with a villainous digimon. And no, by that I meant something different from Tailmon’s case in both classic & reboot Digimon Adventure – I mean one where the kid is basically a human Wormmon and the digimon a Kaiser-mon. Well, I guess this is what we got~ But at the same time, you can notice there’s times that showed maybe Gulus wasn’t entirely evil. Because in his debut episode he screams to Hiro to get out of the way when trying to attack Angoramon and Jellymon, but since Hiro stayed there he just canceled his attack and reverted back to Gammamon. And every time the enemy had some evil behavior that could end with the trio and the mons dead, Gulus would butt in and save them all. So for a villain – or rather, anti-villain – he was showing signals of him starting to change for a little.

Or this is what I thought until ep 66, lol.

Note that I’m not saying he didn’t do anything wrong, because he did and oh he did. It’s times that maybe he was slowly getting changed by Hiro & co., hence the good Gamma’s personality.

By the way, I'm still keeping my stance on the finale and how relieved I am that Gulus wasn't destroyed and yes was shown that he's still Gammamon despite everything -- More like "accept your flaws instead of getting rid of them" message, I think.

Now I think this Endbringer thing could be an open opportunity for a sequel in format of a drama CD or manga, or a standalone movie idk. But I’d rather prefer none of those (I have personal reasons, please do not ask for details) and that they could just move on and work on something brand new with no ties to GG or any other series at all. I’d rather prefer to make my own particular and delusional sequel, without demanding or asking Bandai & Toei to make it real.

On birthday woes : why zz/wyb decided to stay quiet on their special day 🎂🎁

I’ve been wanting to put all my thoughts regarding this whole topic in one place as I try to make sense of it. also if anyone wants to know what I think, then feel free to read along. please don’t take my word for it. this is just my brain dump.

I feel let down tbh, that both of them are not celebrating their birthdays like the previous years. If you think about it, it shouldn’t be a big deal. I guess most people even antis & passerby will be fine with them being all over weibo on the day of their birthday. No matter what is going on in the country. It’s not exactly classified as “entertainment”, tho they are part of that circle. It’s a personal celebration and fans who support them will want to give their greetings. but that’s just me talking. selfish me who was so spoiled for the past years ( bring 2020 celebration back! ). I know they have a good reason to do so and I wouldn’t be such a fan if these two weren’t so self aware and responsible. now let me write about the possible reasons and a bit of cpn.

• Political Timing ⏱

Yibo’s birthday week fell on Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan ( August 2 ) and the whole political nightmare that created. Tensions were high and people were talking about possible retaliation from China’s side. Add the hyper nationalists who were posting “crying” ( I don’t know how else to call it ) videos on Douyin because Pelosi landed in Taiwan, despite XJP’s regime making them believe that they will shoot down any United States plane that will try and make an independent visit to Taiwan.

All over weibo, you saw people and celebrities sharing the One China ( policy ) post — showing their support to their country. Posts about China’s military, hinting that they are ready for whatever happens. Finally, the morning of Bobo’s birthday, China released their sanctions to the US for what happened. So overall, it wasn’t a good look to be plastering Yibo’s place all over all Weibo. Or in major cities like Beijing or Shanghai for that matter. Tho as i said earlier, a simple personal birthday post or selfie from him wouldn’t hurt— I guess it was just an executive decision to stay quiet.

GG’s day on the other hand, comes right after the National Day Holiday. Also weeks before the National Congress that @rainbowsky mentioned here and if you don’t know the importance of this then let me direct you to @potteresque-ire explanation here. While I do understand how extra careful GG and his team are, also sensitive to current events, I feel like they could still get away with posting a personal photo. It’s also worth mentioning that there are other big-name celebrities who posted birthday content weeks/ days before GG ( Yangmi and WJK for example ). Even someone who posted on the same day as GG ( TJC ).

• Qinglang call & personal decisions

The literal meaning of QingLang (清朗) is “cleansed and uncontaminated.” Originally, the program was presented as aimed at the “control of chaos” (乱象治理的通) in the cyberspace. It was explained that the “chaos” was mostly created by the fan groups of celebrities, where “fanaticism” was on display and inappropriate comments were published on a variety of items.

To those who are not familiar with this, it’s a campaign started back in May 2021 regarding responsible online behavior. You might also remember the boys’ studios mentioning this when they share posts related to fan behavior. particularly with Yibo last year, his studio posted about adhering to rules set by the campaign.

It is important to point out that these rules are not only aimed at celebrities but to big network platforms & companies as well. and as detailed below:

The 4 major points of Qinglang 2022:

• Companies “deepen their understanding’ of the QingLang campaign. They should “effectively improve the political position” and “fight a tough, protracted and overall battle” to make sure that all that is posted expresses loyalty to “the CCP and the Country.”

• The companies should assume and assign responsibility. If something disloyal to the CCP and the Country is posted, the Party wants to know who was responsible for it. “Each responsibility should be assigned to specific positions and personnel to ensure that all stages of work are carried out without compromise.”

• Once the responsible personnel has been clearly identified, it should “control key sections such as topics, groups, and circles.” Further “chaos” will not be tolerated, meaning that posts should be “cleaned up” and if necessary edited or cancelled immediately.

• The companies should “strengthen security. It is necessary to continuously improve the community rules,” and also “improve the political commitment” of company executives. There should be CCP cells in each company office. The Internet companies should acknowledge “the political leading role of Party organizations,” and cooperate in case of “special operations”.

It’s all in the glory of the CCP and gives the impression that everything not aligned to CCP’s ideals is considered chaos. No surprise there.

I actually thought Yibo’s move was something Yuehua recommended and their artists are doing. Since they are, after all, a company that should adhere to the same Qinglang call for suppressing fan behavior. But No. I saw his other label mates posting on their birthday this year ( 2022 ) ( for example Hangeng ).

Which leads me to the conclusion of it’s a mix of this campaign and a personal decision. Let’s face it, these rules were created for fandoms like what ZZ/WYB have. Their solo fandoms are known to be really extravagant when it comes to their birthday ( among other things ) + they have a strong CP following too. Also add the brands they endorse on the mix — they can sponsor birthday events and release special edition bday products. It’s this whole “excessiveness” that the boys and their own studios are ( what I think ) avoiding to happen. It’s a small price to pay for two people who are notoriously private and have always been humble about their fame. The public’s view on celebrities have not been good for the past years — amidst the scandals that happened — it is a conscious choice to not flaunt anything lavish.

Having a quiet and simple birthday isn’t so bad, compared to possible “trouble” they can get into if the celebrations and fan activities are misunderstood.

I’m wondering if the personal part of this decision was discussed between the two of them. It’s not even CPN, even if you don’t think they’re dating, as close friends — they can ask each other. They have celebrity friends i’m sure or even “seniors” to consult but no one in that circle knows what it’s like to be in the position they’re in than each other. Plus they’ve aways had this “understanding” between them from when they met in CQL shoot and beyond. I’m thinking about them sitting down and seriously looking at what they can actively do to be less of a “celebrity” and the first thing that came to mind is give up the whole birthday extravagance. They may have different career paths now but their values are still the same — those of us who pay attention can clearly see that. This is why they work so well together.

I am not privy to what other c-ent celebrities are like but there is a reason why both of them have the fan following they have. They are good people. They ( mostly ) inspire their fans to be better. ZZ/WYB have always tried to set a good example, and oftentimes at the expense of their comfort. It’s so easy to repost propaganda content. It’s easy to attend state approved events. It’s easy to film VCRs/films/dramas to lend “support” to whatever projects the state is pushing. What’s hard is to look into yourself and see what you can let go from all the excess. I am comforted by the knowledge that they can still celebrate their birthday quietly, and that’s how they want it to be. What’s important is they had a good day.

I think the best birthday gift we can give zz/wyb is to have fun on their day. Go out and spend time outside. Have a day to ourselves and not be online.
