Anyways...most ‘discourse’ on tumblr is just people with crappy experiences from high school, who had a hard time learning how to find healthy coping mechanisms, not knowing how to mind their business about other people’s lives and having this unbearably obnoxious NEED to become the high school bully they didn’t have a chance to stand up to, themselves...

Like... that’s it 😂 Otherwise, what’s the point of you running an ‘ace discourse’ blog where all you do is make crappy, racist memes calling Drumpf ‘asexy’?

How are y’all ‘helping the LGBT community’ by being the middle school bully, who’s mad at seeing other folks happy with their own identities (regardless of how ‘strange’ or ‘confusing’ they may sound) and feel the need to be an ass towards those folks?

What exactly does that do except force more LGBTQ+ folks, especially young ones, back into the closet? How are you helping to prevent internalized cisheteronormative thinking in LGBTQ+ folks/youth by constantly creating an atmosphere of ‘don’t question your gender/sexuality for too long and just pick one of these four identities that I personally find valid or else you’ll get made fun of’?

Y’all really don’t know what the word ‘community’ means because so many of y’all are too focused on being in a damn ‘clique’ like this is Mean Girls or something 😆 Get a damn clue and stop acting like you’re a real ‘LGBT activist uwu’ by bullying people on the internet for just living their own lives and finding their own identities without your dorky-ass approval.

Honestly, that trans/nonbinary (and just generally queer) power move where some folks give themselves names with both a ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ name, put together to make one hybrid name, makes me SUPER happy yet disappointed that I had not thought about it earlier😤😫

Like...I just saw the names, Adam Rose and Charles Elizabeth (obviously, you can still do this with more ‘ethnic’ names, too, but these were recent examples I happened to see), and I’m just...OBSESSED with the idea of mashing two seemingly ‘contradictory’ names together to make a unique, two-part name that tells people, ‘YES, I know I have a girl’s name and a boy’s name put together. YES, I’m clearly a confident queer mess who gracefully hand picked this name for myself, knowing the implications that come with it. HELL YEAH, it suits me very well and I’m unbothered by anyone else’s opinions☺️!’

Honestly...the ONLY good folks to follow on TikTok are black women and LGBTQ+ people, himbos, bimbos, and thembos, REAL leftists who really stand by ACAB and defund the police without trying to sugarcoat it for liberals, awkward yet talented white people who don’t try to put on a ‘blaccent’ for views, SCP, cryptid, and ‘paranormal’ accounts, people who like to chef it up in the kitchen, people who do dance covers (WITHOUT the unnecessary 50+ transitions and effects), and like...funny pet accounts...everything else is pretty much trash 😂

I’m gonna stay off social media for the next few days, y’all. For those who have sent me messages, I’m sorry I’ve been taking a long time to answer y’all back! I will get to them when I have more spoons and I actually feel better, mentally and physically.

Not only is the ‘election’ process pissing me off, I’ve been seeing so many ignorant things on social media that makes me want to tear a lot of people’s heads off, regardless of their ‘political’ alignment. And then there’s just...the clownery that is ‘discourse’ about people’s identities (WHICH SHOULD NOT BE A MATTER OF IMPORTANCE RIGHT NOW BUT OK EXCLUSTIONISTS LOL).

I’m just tired, bruh...I’m TIRED...

This whole system we have in the U.S. was never intended for those of us who have constantly been receivers of the WORST kinds of oppression in this country. It was a always a fascist system and no amount of ‘VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHAT UWU’ will ever change that unless we literally tear everything down and rebuild with a more compassionate and genuinely equal world in mind.

If your version of ‘equality’ excludes procuring and supporting basic human rights for black and indigenous people (all over the world, not just in the U.S.), immigrant families, children, LGBTQIA+ folks, poor folks, disabled/mentally ill/neurodivergent folks, women (ALL women, not just cishet women), and any other minority group that has been subjected to nothing but vitriol, hate crimes, and (sometimes, fatal) violence for just existing as who they are...then you aren’t for ‘real equality’.

You’re a self-serving and self-preserving person who has no compassion for anyone else, except people who look, talk, act, and believe in the things that you do. The rest of us want to live, too! The rest of us want the opportunities that we have been barred from for YEARS and want the chance to be able to build things for our own communities/families, too! But clearly, as anyone who has ever genuinely researched the history of this country that’s not from a clown ass source like Fox News will tell you, there is no way to combat these boundaries against minorities here unless this current system is dismantled and white supremacy is wiped out. That won’t happen overnight and it sure as hell won’t happen if Americans who ‘see nothing wrong with the system’ continue to choose their own privilege and ignorance over justice and truth.

I have no interest in being around or educating people who won’t even do half the work it requires to unlearn their own internalized bigotry against other people and I’m more than ok with dropping ‘friends’ with that kind of selfish mindset.

I’ll be back on here when I feel a little less weight on my mind and in my heart but for now, I’m gonna take a small hiatus.

Now that I’m back working at the library, I forgot how much I missed the books sales and doing research on new books coming into the library 📚😫✨!!

I now have 13 more new books to add to my own personal library that I got for literally $11 (these books are in beautiful condition btw)!! I’m gonna make a video on my TikTok about them in a minute but like...I FORGOT HOW GREAT THE LIBRARY WAS AND MY MAGPIE BRAIN IS JUST SUPER HAPPY ABOUT MY NEW BOOKS!! 📚🥸

#i found more books from the Redwall series/a few YA novels about witches and vampires from my youth/an anthology of mystery short stories #and some other interesting books!#this also makes me excited to hear back about a possible film archivist job i recently applied to!!#the job is basically about digitizing older forms of media like film negatives/CDs/cassette tapes/etc #i would REALLY love to do something like that full-time and be able to learn how to archive all forms of media #books #ok to interact #positive #ghiblipunk

I JUST GOT ‘THE ART OF THE IRON GIANT’ BOOK TODAY AND I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY!!! The Iron Giant is one of my favorite animated movies to watch and now I have the awesome concept art book that I’ve been looking ages for!! I’m so excited to start reading it!!
