Danny has an aggressive secret admirer and that Admirer is Damian wayne. If Damian has succeeded with his plan of kidnapping danny after carefully researching.
Danny woke up a bit refreshed after what he felt like was a 3 hour power nap after eating the most delicious burger he was given gift wrapped up in a present box found in his locker after school..
Only to noticed fenton designed looking a like of handcuffs on his hands, feets as he lays in a cushion like bed with certain red and blue duck candles lit with green fire.
A hand written runes of ancient writing on the galaxies like blanket he was laying on. Blue weeping flowers petals on the floor surrounding the bed.
Now this was interesting... before he noticed the person behind this all, Danny's eyes were glowing, looking at Damian. The liminal classmate who shyly glances at him every now and then when he thought he didn't noticed.
He did his research right as he can see Damian was not even trembling nor falling on his knees under the weight of Danny's core pressuring in this room before offering Danny something that he did most value to his very soul.
It wasn't his blood, nor hair, or a weapon.
For ghosts have no uses for those things but what they desire most of all even after death.
It was a necklace, beautifully made and designed to look like scattered or stars but what they were made with crystallized emotional tears of pure even a bit unhinged love.
Damian's face look red.. his eyes were a definitely puffy and reddish underneath with the amount of tears he has cried. His greeb eyes look determined and a bit dilated.
Danny stared back as Damian wavered didn't changed a bit even after 30 minutes had past.
"I accepted your courtship, but you could've just texted me to met at a certain time instead..?" Danny spoke with a bit of a flattered smile growing as his eyes widen noticing Damian wasn't even done yet with how he open a curtain to reveal a custom coffin and grave stone specifically made for danny along with flowers, plushes and offering breads for the dead.
OH.. Oh he definitely marrying him now. Now let him sleep in the coffin before danny start crying too.. also hand him some of that bread too.

Danny is just trying to hide his secret identity while upgrading some sort of ghost tech for Batman when he stumbles across Duke
Wait a minute, Duke's seen that orb of light before (the first time he worked with Phantom he squinted the whole time)
Duke is trying not to make it obvious he has light powers, but its REALLY difficult when there's essentially a flashlight shining directly in your eyes and it's kinda awkward to look at anything but Danny every time he talks to him
Danny is sad because Duke is avoiding him :'(
When Danny finds out the truth, he feels super bad and suppresses his core so that it's not as bright
Duke's horrified when he finds out that Jason has the same thing and doesn't know how to control it yet since his core was only recently fixed

PROLOGUE
Guys—I never ever ever write Yandere Fics but?? Dead on Main Mutual Yandere??? Ghost Obsessions or Ghost Biology taken to an extreme, leading to bloody and ectoplasmic messes??? DAMN
(Legit wrote this in 15 minutes on my phone lmao)
Jason smirked underneath his mask, a feral grin of all teeth as he dug his nails into the body underneath him. These white suited fucks had been crawling through Gotham for weeks and the Pit snarled everytime he caught sight of one in his territory. It had been months since he had gone into a green-tinted rage, but every time he saw one of the walking stain collectors he had to fight one down. The Pit snarled deep in his chest and begged for violence, begged to turn the eggshell colored tuxedos into a mess of carnage, everytime he came close to the 'agents'.
There was an ache in his gums and a burning underneath his nails, he dug them deeper into the light colored flesh. Blood pooled under the abuse, were his nails supposed to be that sharp?
Jason got tired of watching these guys shuffle through Crime Alley like they owned the streets he cleaned, and the people under his protection were constantly complaining about them too. He was just supposed to come in to question them, threaten them so they learned the rules, he didn't expect the RAGE-RAGE-RAGE that overtook him as soon as he was in range of the eyesores.
It was...different than his usual pit-induced madness. There was a purpose tickling in the back of his brain—a garbled voice he recognized but didn't that was screaming at him.
RAGE-PROTECT-KING
King?
Jason snarled before putting the rest of his strength into his grip, there was an audible snap underneath his palm. The last agent's body fell limp in his grasp.
KING-PROTECT-SAVE
The thing in his chest howled at him as it forced his legs to move, instinct carrying him as he put bullets (real ones, why did he have real ones? He barely used those anymore) into whatever fashion-freak tried to stop him with their Lazarus green guns. Their aim was shit, his was better.
KING-HERE-PROTECT
There was a paines scream on the other side of the wall that had Jason snapping back into awareness, and with strength he didn't know he had he ripped a thick metal door with his bare hands and threw it to the side. The Pit settled in his chest, a grumbling anxious thing instead of the all consuming it was moments ago. Jason absent-mindedly rubbed his hand where he felt the warmth of the green that stayed with him before he stepped into a sparsely lit room.
Glowing green Lazarus water and blood was spewed and mixed across the walls, a chaotic clash of neon and maroon that stunk of copper and acid. There was a figure wailing in the middle of the room as more green leaked from an open wound on its chest. No, not just an open wound, a vivisection. His vision tinted harshly once more as he slowly made his way to the restrained figure.
A man, most likely the same age or younger than him, with snow white hair, tanned skin that looked almost blue-tinted, glowing freckles in the shape of constellations, and green-green-green unseeing eyes as they spilled cold tears. Jason gently wiped the tears away as if pulled by instinct, and cooed softly with and audible echo in his chest. The Pit had never felt like this, not even in his most justified rages. It had never felt this soft either.
The man cried harder as he tilted his cheek further into Jason's bloody fingerless gloves, a pitiful whine escaping his throat as he begged without words. Jason doesn't know why it was so important for him to get this man his king out and to safety, to care for him, but he knew denying that instinct would only hurt him in the future. There was a warmth building under his fingertips before he pulled them slowly away from the freckled skin, the man gasping and blinking rapidly trying to find him again.
scared-help-afraid
There was a rumble deep in Jason's chest as if the soothe the man, and it seemed to work. The strained shoulders relaxed slightly and allowed Jason to move his (clawed?) fingers to the thick iron cuffs with strange electricity running through them. With a clenched jaw, he ripped the metal in half for each restraint, barely holding back the green before pulling needle and thread from somewhere in the room. The man didn't react to being stitched up, but whimpered when Jason's hands left his chest. A green and purple bruised hand shot out to bring his palm back, and Jason murmured softly while interlacing their fingers.
RAGE-PROTECT-HELP
grateful-safe-help?
HELP-RAGE-PROTECT
The being slumped into his arms as Jason pulled him close—the blue-tinted man weighed less than a bag of chips.
They deserved to suffer for the horrific acts they committed to his king the man in his arms. The Pit and him agreed on that.
With a gruff, Jason adjusted to pull off his jacket and cover the weeping wound of the man. He pulled him into a bridal-style carry before making his way out of the horror room, stepping over freshly dead and dying bodies. There was more blood in the previously white hallways than there was in the room he came from, and he wasn't gentle about stepping over still-alive scientists and agents. He ended up crushing skulls under his steel toed boots when the Pit snarled for their blood, but the rest wound bleed out and die slowly.

First post or maybe second. I think there's a picture of stuffed animals from like a decade ago. But let's see how this goes.
Jason is having his death day, Danny wants to help. (Xey and xeir are used as pronouns for an alien species for whom English can't really cut it)
The day sucked. It fucking sucked every single year. Every inch of his body ached and screamed in pain with each step, turn, and movement. He could hear the incessant, unending beeping wherever he went. Of course… it wasn't unending. It had very abruptly and very importantly ended, once upon a time. Which led him to the next reason this day, every single year, was so unbearably shitty: the sweats. It felt like he was boiling alive on the surface of the sun and no matter what he did, no matter how he distracted himself, he always remembered why. Why he had to feel this way every year and how each torment served as a memento of that day.
Jason continued walking down the street in the vain hope to clear his head when he heard a voice.
"Yeeeeesh!" A boy said, "I think I can taste that."
As Jason turned, he noticed the boy, thin, no older than 16, with stark white hair, was staring directly at him. Staring at him and slowly walking closer.
"Hey there man," he started, "believe me when I say: I know today sucks. I don't know how badly or what exactly you're dealing with, but I know it's bad."
The teen was now standing right in front of him and yet Jason felt glued to the spot, like something was keeping him there and that the very idea of brushing off this boy and continuing on his horrid stroll would be an act of blasphemy. The boy reached out a hand and placed it gently on Jason's shoulder, giving it a small squeeze. And to his utter shock, Jason didn't shrug it off. In fact, he liked it? For the briefest of moments the aches subsided, the heat receded long enough to feel the cool spring breeze, and the beeping faded into nothing. He could swear even the pits were calm. No wait, they weren't just calm; they were cooing? Pushing him to lean into the young man's touch.
"Mind if I join you?" The boy asked.
"Please…" Jason spoke, somewhere between a whisper and a prayer.
And they started back along the walkway. Jason couldn't help but feel like the world had stopped as they made their way through Crime Alley.
"You know," the stranger began, "there's nothing wrong with asking, 'GOD, why the fuck is this happening to me?'"
"Sure, you know WHY it's happening. But it seems pretty unfair, no? I mean, we go through this absolutely awful thing once, and then we have to deal with the shadows of it once every three-sixty-five for the rest of eternity? That's just brutal."
Jason knew he had trusted every word spoken to him so far, though he couldn't be sure why. But the small, rational voice in his head now confirmed exactly what the subject of their conversation was.
"Well the truth is," he continued "it's not some command by on high. No one made these rules. It's just how the universe operates. I've actually met quite a few others like us, but they didn't live on a rock rotating around a yellow star. One of them lived their whole life on a space station flying through eternity. And yet even they feel this once every so often."
"See, the thing is, humans operate on an annual time scale. We don't feel greatly connected to something that happened exactly 7 or 28 or 30 days ago. But three hundred and sixty five days… and six-ish hours puts us in basically the exact same spot in the universe. You can feel it, the same air blowing in your face, the same setting sun, even the same clothes you were wear-"
Jason collapsed. He felt the air ripped out of his lungs as he coughed and choked and desperately tried to restart his breathing. Everything hurt, everything was hot, and the GODDAMN BEEPING-
And then it was gone. The only thing he felt was a gentle hand rubbing circles into his back. He turned to look up at the… Spirit? God? "Boy" felt wrong now.
"Ope," he said with a look of concern, "so the clothes were a really important part. Starting to get a picture of what's going on here."
Jason gratefully received a second hand positioned on his chest as he was lifted back into a standing position. Then he turned back to his companion and urged him to continue with his eyes.
"Well," he started again, "basically, we live on a yearly timescale. We don't count months or decades nearly the same way. But that's just us, if we were turtles and the only big happening we saw was that every 23 years a squall split the bay we lived in, you and I would have much longer between our episodes. One of the ones I talked to said xey only experienced it once every 91 years when a certain comet makes its pass through the night sky on xeir planet."
"Anyway," he continued, "what I'm trying to say is that the universe is a fucked up place. But it has rules. Action-reaction and all that. So if you want, I can try and help you get through this as someone more familiar with those rules than you are."
"Please," Jason pleaded, "anything that'll help. I just, I just want it to be easier, I don't need it to be gone; I just want it to be bearable."
"Cool," he responded "glad we're operating on more reasonable expectations. But first things first, I'm gonna need to take a closer look at your core and it's not going to be a particularly comfortable experience. Is that okay?"
Jason nodded, though he wasn't quite sure what this being had meant by "core." He just couldn't help but trust it.
That trust felt slightly misplaced when a hand passed directly into his chest and the arm it was attached to shifted to several angles as if searching for something.
"Aha!" Came the exclamation as the hand retracted, now carrying a small red… was that a page? Like from a book?
"Well this looks cool," the being said, "jeez a bad boy with the heart of a poet. Jazz would have a field day. But let me see here… oh! A protection obsession, just like me. Put 'er there bud."
Jason felt a deep reverberation in his chest as he shook hands with the entity. But everything felt wrong, like his very being had been separated from him so quickly and quietly that he hadn't even noticed. It felt as though he might've gone on blissfully unaware if he hadn't seen the page come out of his chest. And then the world returned. The sounds of the city came to life and when Jason looked down, the page was gone and the hand that held it was pressed gently and flatly back against his chest. The spirit reached down to grab Jason's hand before turning to continue down the street.
After a few minutes, they came to a stop at a park.
"Why are we here?" Asked Jason.
"Dunno," came the reply, "but look closely and I'm sure you'll find the reason."
Jason scanned the park. The homeless resting in the bushes, the trees full of green leaves, several families playing, an old man feeding pigeons, and another walking his dog. His eyes suddenly snapped back to the families. One family. The mother. A young woman with a long, thin scar along her cheek.
He remembered those eyes, that hair. The scar was a fresh gushing wound when he had last seen it, but he remembered that too.
"Her," Jason said, knowing the one beside him understood, "I saved her. Or helped. Back when I was- back before I was- Fuck. Was that a decade ago? Jesus she has a ki-oh man kids. Wait, is she my age? Shit, she seemed so little then."
"Someone you protected," came the voice, "someone for whom you risked your life. Someone who looks at those kids and thanks the universe for putting you on her path every single day."
Jason felt a lump forming in his throat.
"See," the boy started, "I think that's what people forget. Not just other people but us too. It's not about carrying someone through the pouring rain to a hospital. It's definitely not about the praise or detractors or even seeing someone pull through in the end. It's about this. It's about-"
"Seeing them get the chance to flourish," Jason finishes, "watching the world step on them over and over and being there to help them back on their feet the one time it would've been too much on their own. And then knowing they thrived in the end."
"It's hard," the spirit said, "to remember where we really sit in the grand scheme. It can feel like we haven't done anything or that no matter what we do, we'll never be more than one single moment. The reason today sucks every year is important. But it doesn't define who you are or what you'll do. Go visit Mr. Friedrichson at 2:03 today. One of his old tenants is gonna visit and I think you'll enjoy the reminder of why your home is a place worth fighting for, even in spite of the name. Talk to Jenny and Liu. They'll be on 5th Street tonight and they'll talk your ear off about all the good you've done and what it really means to bleed Crime Alley. And can I make one actual request, even if you don't do the other stuff?"
"Of course," Jason replied, "anything."
"Enjoy yourself," the voice spoke, fading as if it was getting farther away. "He's gonna come by as per usual, bearing gifts. But I'm begging you, forgive yourself, even if just for today, and try to enjoy some time with your brother."
"Hey Jason!" Came a call from his other side, "I've been looking all over for you. I got your favorite."
Dick lifted a large brown bag, undoubtedly from the greatest Chinese restaurant in the world… if you asked Jason that is. Jason couldn't help but let a soft smile creep across his face, before quickly hiding behind a groan and a hand pressed into his forehead.
"I can't get one day's peace from you can I?" Jason said as he closed the distance and took the bag.
"Uhh," Dick said, stunned by the more playful remark. "I… I thought you might want some company and I had a free-"
"Thank you Dick," Jason cut in, "I know you take this day off every year and I know you spend it mostly with me screaming and throwing things at you."
"It's not-" he began.
"But this year," Jason continued, "let's do something better."
He lifted the bag to his face and deeply inhaled the fragrant smell of nostalgia and stir fried vegetables.
"You even remembered my special instructions," Jason said, "come on. I know a few places we can go to enjoy this."
Oh boy that was long. Uhh, I hope Tumblr does the whole button to expand this automatically. I kinda only got halfway through what I was gonna say and then burnt out so we skipped Mr. Friedrichson's moment. Anyway have a good one y'all. Oh right, Danny says "bud" and "ope" because he's Midwestern just like me. I don't take criticism (on the Midwestern thing).

He Noticed
He glance up at the cloud covered sky, his chest feeling tight in a way that resembled needing to inhale.
(Something of the past, he no longer needed to breathe if he didn't want to)
He could feel the stars, even if his eyes could not see through the clouds.
He noticed that his body felt wrong (too small, tight)
He continued walking down the road not paying attention to where he was going. He always ended up where he was needed in the end.
In a daze he walked and walked
His shoes making a path in the soil
He noticed the smell of wet soil
He noticed a hole in the soil in front of him
He noticed a grave stone
He noticed the date
A 15 year old boy
Like him
He noticed the smell of wet soil
He noticed it under his nails
On his skin
In his mouth
He noticed his throat hurt
He noticed being able to see the stars
Something was wrong
What was wrong
Why-
Where was he walking again?
Oh
He could see the stars
He could feel them
He noticed his hand reaching above him
Towards them
So close
He noticed he was screaming
Why was he screaming
Where are the stars
His stars
His hand touched something solid
He noticed it was wood
All around him
He could no longer see the stars
Only wood and the smell of wet soil
He noticed he was covered in it
He noticed his head (core) hurt
He noticed too much
He wasn't suppose to notice
Not anymore
After all
He was Dead
He Noticed.
~

Okay! A bit of context Danny has a space core which is very hurt, the stars help him a bit. The grave is Jason's after he already left. Danny needed somewhere safe to heal his core and it lead him to Jason's unoccupied grave(since he he doesn't have his own), and he crawls down and inside to the casket,(intangibility help a bit but he can't use it very well in the moment) Danny isn't doing so well so his pov is all over the place.
I wrote this while I was more asleep than awake, so it probably doesn't make much sense.

A tip for living in a haunted house. Simply establish dominance over the ghost by haunting the house better. I can make scary noises and mess with the lights too. You aren't special ghost

Prompt #86 “Global warming”
The world is heating up, and experts say it shows no signs of cooling down. People in the US, Mexico, and Central America are moving north, but Canada has started guarding their border. People have nowhere left to go.
But the Fentons have a plan: they’ve built a machine made to harness the power of a ghosts core for as long as it’s running.
Now they just need to find a high power level ice core ghost.
Their primary target is Phantom, y’know, the self-sacrificial idiot.

Sandwiches taste better be without ketamine — part 1
Y'know all those Danny is in wayne mansion and Alfred drugs him (bc they're sus of this dude, Bruce wants to interrogate him whatever).
Well i had a thought and i think i wanna write it haha
Tw: drugging, disasosiaction (from first pov), overall Danny is not in a good mental space
--------
It was evening.
Danny wasn't sure where exactly he was, nor even what year it was. The mansion he broke in was huge and fancy, all the gothic aesthetic this city seemed to be almost worshipping and the slimy smell of money, included.
At first he hoped no one will notice him, as foolish as it was with his luck. He wasn't all that suprised when an elderly man in black suit tapped his shoulder and asked if he would want a 'brunch'. If Danny didn't have ghost sense, he'd suspect he was the ghost of a butler or something, but no. The man was very much alive, if not a little liminal. But at this point who wasn't.
:read more:
And yes, Danny can admit it was stupid not to ran the moment he noticed the man, but... was it so wrong to hoped maybe for once he met nice people who wouldn't try and vivisect him?
Feeling the familiar artificial feeling of fatigue, yes, yes it was.
In the private of his mind, he couldn't help but feel disappointed. The man seemed nice, but more importantly his food was divine. God, if his existence wasn't banned by the government, he might've even take the drugging for the food.
Yes, he might be disasosiacting. Not like he has any other choice, if he doesn't want to destroy this place.
“Is something wrong sir?” the elder (he introduced himself, but Danny figured trying to drug someone made him loose name privileges) asked, a great imitation of genuine worry lacing his voice. The boy had to give it to him, he was an excellent actor (who tried to drug him. Put something in his food and he didn't notice. Wanted to do who knows what with.him. druGgeD hIM lIKe tHE gIv dIiiiIIiIi—)
Danny blinked. It was getting harder to keep his eyes open. He opened his mouth to speak, but the ever boiling anger was now even stronger than normally. He wanted to scream and punch the man. He wanted to take the tasty guacamole toast and throw it so hard it cracks the wall. He wanted to destroy and wail and-
Instead he continued staring at the man, no emotions visible on his face. Danny didn't want to say anything, or even move, because what if that was the catalyser for him to break and just... do something he might regret later. But the longer was sitting on the stool, the stupid toast in front him, the man's eyebrows scrunching in fake worry—
"If there is anything I can—"
"is it normal for you to drug every guy who visits, or am I just that special?" he could hear himself say. Or well, Danny knew he was saying this, but it was as if it was beyond his control. Like he was just a onlooker in his own life.
The butler blinked, but other than that no surprise showed on his face. So it wasn't a mistake, Danny noted, ignoring the rising tension in his body. Some part of him sighed, already preparing to fight the grandpa before him.
"it appears there was some sort of—" the boy jumps over the island, zeroing onto the older man's hand. He wrenched the stun gun out of his grasp, not afraid to bite or scratch, all the while dodging a kick to his side. The other man had suprisingly strong grip, but it was nothing in face of Danny's rising suspicions and surprise attack.
The boy swiftly got as far away as he could, dismantling the weapon without taking his gaze away from the butler. The man was watching his action, apparently already gotten over Danny's surprise attack. A shame, he hoped he'd be able to overshadow the elder when he was in shock. He wasn't otherwise suprised, when he brushed his mind before, he could feel his mind was strong.
The familiar haze of pills was starting to take over Danny's body. He had to leave quickly. He couldn't leave without injuring the older man. If he didn't do something right now, he will fall unconscious.
Snarky quips it was than "If you wanted to get rid of me, you could've just called the police like a normal person y'know" the words came out more bitter than he wanted, but even that didn't shake the man before him. The butler was still watching him, positioned in something Danny vaguely recognized as fighting stance, face impassionate. That fact alone made him add "Or just... Tell me to leave. Literally anything but putting anesthetics in a perfectly good sandwich" only to see him squirm. The way he was so unbothered... Well it made Danny uncomfortable. (No one who drugged a kid, even if they had white hair and glowed, without showing an ounce of remorse was not a good person)
His eyes were closing, and he could feel his grip slipping on his power. What was the old man thinking?? The average human would probably be dead if they ate this much ketamine... This was getting more and more dangerous by the second, he had to... He had to... He...
"I apologize for all of this, but anyone able to enter this mansion unnoticed, cannot simply leave before some... Conversation happen" and didn't that sound ominous as hell. His vision was swaying, and he couldn't stay on his feet anymore. The panic was the only thing keeping him conscious. The moment he fell asleep, he wouldn't be able to keep his ecto signature in check, meaning They would immidietly know where he is. He would no longer be putting only himself in danger, but also the old man (as much as he deserved it for drugging him).
And he didn't know how his powers worked after everything. He could easily destroy this whole mansion, just by unravelling his true appearance.
"No... I- I have to... I..." his core was screaming. the similarity of this situation was a reminder of how he changed and what he used to be. He try to move towards where he thought could be the outer wall, but his limbs were so heavy. The boy didn't even bother to look at the old man anymore, just trying to get out of here. He turned on his stomach, crawling away from the man, tears gathering in the corner of his eyes. They stung in anger and hopelessness that once again filled him.
"It will not take long, you have nothing to worry about child" if he was little bit more aware, he might catch the pity in his voice, but he wasn't. All he could hear were threats and scorn. A noise, that wasn't entirely human, build up at the back of his throat. He couldn't stop the pathetic high pitched whines that escaped his mouth, even as his eyes were closed and body no longer moving.
And exactly in that moment the door to the kitchen smashed open, a burning core answering his own "What the fuck is going on here?!"
---
Yeah idk this was just something on my mind, idk how this would even continue lol
Uh some more stuff i thought of for this
Danny wouldn't have a good relationship w Alfred at first. Like dude wouldn't trust him at all, not his food anything he says, and all. Idk the batfam could feel guilty, or it'd just be a cool new experience it doesn't matter
On that note, their relationship would probably get better, but i just wanted to acknowledge that someone drugging u is super traumatizing even if they do it w good intentions
Danny got kidnapped/sold to giv it doesn't really matter, but what is important is that he's full ghost. Why? Idk i just think it'd be so terrible for giv to see this Schrodinger's boy and went "yo what if we made him full ghost" and them succeeding. Like first of all that shit would destroy Danny and also it'd be such a terrible situation. Also batmans reaction to Danny dying, surviving (kinda) and than dying again would be so interesting
Also the person to come in is obviously Jason. He heard a kid screaming and felt it, and the pits went "baby >:((("
No idea what happens after, but at some point he stays at the manor and stuff happens. Idk what yet but it could be anyying
Where's batfamily? In batcave probably idk
I'm so tired i just finished writing this an holy wow kill.me. it's been a rough week haha. Hope u liked this i might continue this but probably not

So tempted for Space Core Danny with Time Core mentor Clockwork because it would just fit so well. Time and Space. Like I am just so very weak to it. And I want to combine that idea with like, Sun Core Dan and Moon Core Dani just because I think it would be so amazing.
Maybe also combined with Liminal Jazz and friends- though that would imply them also becoming ghosts once they pass, and I am also here for that.  Space core Danny also fits with the ice since areas of space can get below -400 degrees, which can most definitely flash-freeze something. So there’s his ice abilities makin’ sense in the idea. Alongside other things that I am not researching the science for right now haha

DP X DC WRITING PROMPT #15
(#) = Notes at the end of post
A Lonely Star Shines in the Night
The Guys in White have gone too far. So far that the Danny's universe as they know it is collapsing into itself as a result of the agent's foolish attempt to rid the land of the dead, undying, and neverborn. They tried nuking the Infinite Realms and all it got them was their dimension erased with the Infinite Realms only suffering minor damage.
Either way, Danny's home is gone.
In the struggle to gather his family and spirit them away into the Ghost Zone, he was separated from them when the GIW blew the portal to smithereens with him on the other side and his family still in the living realm. Overtaken by grief, his core cracking from his failure to protect those precious to him, he scoured the Realms for a natural portal back, to no avail.
In his search, he is nearly driven mad by his desperation. Unable to see their King in such pain and slowly unraveling into a second coming of Pariah Dark, Clockwork, Frostbite, and Pandora gather their strength and force him into an entirely different universe to grieve and heal. A universe full of heroes. He won't know this for a while, however, because where he ended up was the old Gotham observatory.
With his obsession of protecting--his friends, his family, his town, his entire world--torn to shreds, his damaged core magnified his secondary obsession: the very cosmos itself. His core latched onto the remaining obsession and inadvertently temporarily tied Danny to the very foundation of the old observatory. That is where he lingers for years, unable to leave and unable to stop crying for his lost family and friends, repeating their names over and over in a neverending mantra.
It isn't until much later that people start to notice his presence, due to the observatory having been unused for decades. What use was an observatory if you couldn't even see the stars in the perpetual smog that blanketed the city? At some point, however, a couple of daring teenagers snuck into the observatory one night and had a first hand encounter with a strange being. Needless to say, they didn't stick around for much longer. The reports they made to the police and what they posted on social media the next day were nonetheless wildly interesting.
Each of them described relatively the same thing. Of first seeing a bright, sliver star shining in the dark(1) of the empty building but then quickly noticing it was set in the center of the chest of a being that might as well have been made from the black void of the night sky itself. They described a being with hair that faded into white, glowing mist that was circled by a crown of ice crystals and star dust. Most notable of all to them, however, were the low humming whispers coupled with the mercury tears leaking from aurora green eyes in a neverending stream that dripped and echoed hauntingly across the marble floors below.
Of course, no one really believed their wild tales at first. Then it became a game among high schoolers and college students to wander the old observatory just to see if they would catch sight of this mysterious being. If not, no harm done. That is until one student accidentally injured themselves trying to find this ghost they've been hearing rumors about. (2)
Regardless of whether or not the being inhabiting the observatory directly caused this student's injury, he's gained the Batclan's attention.
Notes:
(1) The star in his chest is his core. The black/night parts of his ghost form are slightly translucent even when not intangible/invisible. You can literally see straight through him to his core, which basically looks like a condensed white dwarf star. Also, due to the damage his core has taken and his grief, it's cracking and looks like it's going to go supernova.
(2) Danny didn't directly cause the student to get injured. The student literally just turned the corner and nearly ran right into Danny as he was wandering in his grief-stricken stupor. This caused the student to freak out, run the opposite direction, and fall down a flight of stairs cause they weren't watching where they placed their feet. Danny is not violent or territorial here. His mind has literally checked out and left because trauma, grief, and a fractured sense of ghostly self are one hell of a combo on a halfa.

Danny’s Core!!! 🌟🪐
Tumblr media
Made my own version of what Danny’s core could look like! Went full galaxy!🌌🪐🌟
Wanted to go for a galaxy effect of Danny having his own space world inside him. I based his main core on the planet Saturn, I can imagine it’s one of his most fav planets plus the ring makes me think of the one that goes around him when he transforms. I also added little planets revolving around the core as fragment extensions to symbolize the people closest to him, the ones most dear to him, part of his whole world! I also added tons of stars, which r also symbolic of the many other people he cares about and looks out for as Phantom🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐🌟🪐
What do u think? How would u imagine what his core would look like? I’d love to know💖

Dead on Main Masterpost for 'Obsession'
This is the yandere fic Lol.
Edit: A kind soul has offered to beta-read!! 🫶🫶🫶
I will be posting parts on Tumblr as I write them! They will be unedited and usually on reread (maybe) once! I'll probably be posting them 3 at a time every week or so. Maybe more, maybe less, depending on my mood. I do have Uni classes so please be patient!!!
'Obsession' does and will contain dark themes for graphic depictions of violence, unhealthy attachments, (maybe) emotional manipulation, perverted and uncomfortable imagery, and overall what you'd expect from a yandere-ish fic. They will both care for each other! Their ghost cores will just...be pushing them to extremes? It'll all be explained Lol
BUT do not read if you feel uncomfortable with any of the topics listed below, warning some of these are uncomfortable asf lol (will be updated as time goes on)
Unhealthy Attachments
Graphic Depictions of Violence
Uncomfortable Imagery (ex. sniffing dirty clothes)
Depictions of Gore
Depictions of Sex & Violent Sex
Depictions of Control or (Maybe) Unbalanced Relationships
Anything That Could be Related to the Yandere, Deredere, or Goudere Types (However, not all will be used. I'm kinda gonna mix them up?)
[More to be added, I will watch comments for anything readers believe should be put on this list. Not everything on this list right now is currently present in the story, I am adding things before I post them or things I know I will be writing]
Prologue
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

I will be posting this fic to AO3 completely edited and (hopefully) beta-read. The AO3 link below will work when the fic is pretty much halfway through(ish) on Tumblr
