THIS PROMPT AWOKE SOMETHING IN ME LOL honestly this could be a whole au but i aint got the energy for that so take 200 words of angst >:) it'll be posted to ao3 in a few!

And then Philip was turning away, his white cape billowing behind him like the tail of a ghost, and leaving Luz behind to beat against the forcefield of red-hued magic and weep.

A witch hunter.

He had been planning this all along. The realization struck Luz cold, sitting in her gut like a lead weight. After all the months they spent together in the castle in domestic bliss, he had been planning to kill everyone. While she worked alongside him to help steer the Boiling Isles in a direction of continued peace and prosperity, all along, Philip had been planning to tear it all down.

The Day of Unity was a sham. Luz screamed, roared, as she punched at the wall his magic had trapped her behind. It was all fake. A lie.

I love you, he'd told her.

She screamed and she screamed and she screamed until finally the rage died and she fell, sobbing, her hands flat against the red transparent line that separated them. What a sick fucking joke. I love you.

She hated him.

Luz breathed hard through her nose, her eyes opening around fat tears. Then, she drew a glyph in the dirt.

"I love you too, Philip," she said to the empty room, because no amount of hate could make that untrue. "And that's why you're not getting away with this."

BEAUREGARD :

vampire au ~ this has SEVERAL places : one, instead of sending her to the cobalt soul, something was arranged where beau would be...no longer and issue or a face in the family OR some sort of incident occurred which left her turned, beau choosing to pull away from people in response.

werewolf au ~ same as above but woo ( or awooo )

nine eyes au ~ i think you all know what This mean :) Pain. i’ve got a couple different outcomes of it, i just think it’s neat concept idkkk

VAX’ILDAN :

ghost au ~ it is Sad but uh. *jazz hands in what if when he’s not doin rq things or on the occasion he’s allowed to watch his friends*

vampire au ~ something something either cr timeline or some fancy 1800′s Mayhaps vax getting turned iDK it’s fun and fitting.
