thank you brandy. i knew i could count on you. you probably would've removed the invasive shroomish from the woods around here.

Not all possessions are equal! There's actually a few different ways you can get possessed, of which I have been subject to more than one of. Most common is a shroud or group possession, also known as Puppeteering; where a large population of weaker Ghost Pokemon band together to temporarily control a human or other Pokemon. This is the arguably most common, and the least 'invasive' of the possessions; all that really happens on your end is you black out and wake up at most an hour later having done something. Unless they're very well coordinated, it won't be able to make you do much- maybe chase off a wild predator, or give them a few Berries, or just leave. I (and Thyme) were subject to this once.... I think. It might have been a mix of that and mind control.

Very similar but not quite the same is mind control, which is also known as How Non-Ghosts Possess You. Instead of making you black out and controlling your meat suit, they just sort of... shut off the part of your brain that lets you control it and they control you through your brain instead. This can be done either by a group of weaker Psychic types and psychically-aligned Pokemon- Ghosts have been known to help- but some Pokemon, like Malamar and Beheeyem, can mind control by themselves.

What I'm personally consistently subject to is a form of total control. I say a form of it because Skorna's really bad at it. Not that I'm complaining. Typically, it's done by a much more powerful Ghost- a lot of full-evolved mostly-incorporeal Ghosts can do it, and notably Unovan Yamask is able to as well. Their aim is trying just sort of push your soul to the backburner so the can puppet your body around with full awareness. This doesn't come without its visual cues- shit, Skorna's shitty skull is still stuck to my head- but it's much more... complete than the other versions, which are usually a lot more temporary.

Myths... what are myths related to possession? No Ghost Pokemon NEEDS to possess others for survival. Most never will- it's really under specific and personal circumstances in which humans get possessed. A lot of Ghosts aren't even able to help puppeteer- particularly the ones with a more physical appearance. Pokemon that Evolve into the Ghost type aren't even able to minorly influence people's thoughts.

Viktor (Arcane) tickly rambles

Society win i’m posting my. Thoughts. Yes

I think. He never got tickled as a kid. Perhaps as a faint memory when he was 6, but it’s so long ago. And none of the other kids ever played w/ him because he was “weird” (disabled).

So hypothetically he knows what it is, but he’s never experienced it, and he’s never really thought about it either, there are much more… Urgent things to do (help his people).

He never got much physical attention either. So that helps (it does not). I can only imagine getting physically touched by people makes his skin shiver- When he's willingly receiving it, that is.

I think this all Changes once Jayce got into his life. Jayce, who’s constantly putting a hand on his shoulder, or his lower back, wrapping an arm around Viktor, etc. He’s so touchy-feely and warm.

When getting tickled, he turns around a lot, real squirmer to the best of his abilities. He probably tries to cover his mouth when laughing too. I think, when it’s Jayce, he gets really flustered at cooing and compliments during tickles.
