Sidheon (Ghost/Fairy)
#??? - On rare occasion, an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. There have been several known instances of domesticated Eevee evolving spontaneously into the Ghost/Fairy-type Sidheon after witnessing their Trainer experience a difficult hardship or illness; it is believed that their desire to protect their loved ones through an arduous time was so strong that they ascended beyond their physical body, becoming a guardian spirit. Channeling ethereal energy through their long tail and hood trail, Sidheon do their best to sense potential misfortune and protect their loved ones from harm, whether it be physical, emotional, or mental. These Pokemon like to tag along with their Trainers wherever they go, often disappearing into their Trainer’s shadow when it would otherwise be difficult or inconvenient to join them. If a cherished member of their family passes away, Sidheon will go through great lengths to guide and protect their spirit, just as they protected it in life. Trainers can intentionally trigger this evolution by giving their Eevee a reaper’s cloth while it knows a Fairy-type move; however, the Eevee will not evolve unless it shares a deep friendship with its Trainer and desires above all else to protect them from harm.

Sidheon was commissioned by @dapple-drawings, who also commissioned their own shiny version. Thanks!

I’m painting tiny pokemon and thinking about pokemon au. Enjoy ✨
Eddie finding an egg during his adventure and being so excited about it. But not for himself, no no, he has the perfect opportunity to finally ask Steve out.
They’ve been flirting with each other for months, running into each other at gyms and training sessions. At first Eddie couldn’t stand the guy and his little show off, Primarina. Always finding ways to one up him and Aragon, his Decidueye (at that time they were still in their second stages; Brionne and Dartrix.)
But as he continued his gym challenge, all the run ins and training together, Eddie couldn’t help but start to really like Steve. Babydoll and Aragon kept up the tiny rivalry but the rest of their teams became best friends.
So, really feelings we’re going to happen eventually.
And he’s been so nervous to take the next step, could tell Steve’s also nervous. Always stopping himself from saying anything. Wanting but waiting until the courage to really hit either of them.
“Gotta be a sign!” He holds the egg carefully to his chest as he gets up, “Stevie will take such good care of you”
Gene snickering behind him, while Loretta floats around him. “Stop laughing you jerks. This is totally going to work!”
Pulling his backpack around, he gently puts the egg in before zipping it up and continuing on. Gene and Loretta in their balls, while Aragorn keeps him company on their way to the next town.
It’s only a day later when Steve catches up with him.
Before Eddie can even get the egg out of his backpack, Steve’s holding one out to him. A blush on his face, Vee’s tail swaying with a nodding head. Babydoll peeking from behind Steve.
It makes him blink a few times, making sure it’s real and not a dream. “Stevie? Wha-”
“I uh, found this and wanted to give it to you and to maybe, ask you out?”
Eddie’s face hurts and his heart is beating fast, “I’d love to, Stevie. And I’d be honored to have it, also be honored if you’d take this little one?” Pulling the egg out and mirroring Steve by holding it out towards him.
Steve’s blush grows and so does his smile, Babydoll brushes a fin against the egg and Vee letting out happy noises.
They exchange the eggs and enjoy the rest of their day together. Eating lunch together, watching on as their pokemon rest and play together. Trading tips to taking care of the eggs, wondering what pokemon will hatch.
It wasn’t the official date, but it was something and Eddie loved it.
(Steve’s egg hatches and is pleasantly surprised to see a Mimikyu, a shy little one who decides to sit on his shoulder much like how Vee is.)
(Eddie’s egg hatches and a full of energy Pumpkaboo is in his face. A small ball of energy, that he named Ozzie.)

I love them. They’re my babies 🥰
Under the cut is pictures of the pokes for those who don’t know them. Also the taglist🫡 (and also pic of what I’m painting!)

Playing Pokemon Scarlet a lot lately, and I dead ass forgot I need Gym Badges in order for higher level pokemon to listen in battle and caught easy.
Me out here feral running around with 3 badges and a team of level 50 pokemon who have never once ignored me bc I raised them from when they were single digits: Man, these guys are hard to catch.
I grabbed a forth badge for shits and giggles and "pokemon up to level 35 will listen to you and be easier to catch." set me to space.
Me: Deadass? huh... No wonder these level 48 Vaporeon were so hard to catch.
Also had a mini dream just before waking of a Soulmate au where after meeting/crossing paths in some way the pair wake up the next day on some grand adventure. This is usually just a real life version of that MapQuest Find The Airport game for people bc the goal is to find the way home, and typically provides a compatibility/get to know situation.
This results in the pair falling into either intense besties, romantic partners, 'I'll keep in touch.' and never does (Mutual), or even some level of rivals/enemies. (slippery slope to a secondary adventure of Enemies to Lovers, but some soulmates have traditions) Just because you're spiritually compatible doesn't mean your current lives make you people the other likes.
So obviously, Danny (And Tim), can't have a normal adventure. It's because Danny has superpowers, getting isekai'd is normal for most hero (or villain) types.
Danny wakes up in the middle of a forest and befriends a Phantump. Tim gets his Fletchling (because I adored that post about Tim finding a weird injured bird and nursing it back to health)
Just cute boys trying to find the way home and bonding with some friends. Probably won't give them a full team of 6. It'd be an even split of 3 each if they do. I'm imagining a whole conversation about it where Tim goes over the practicality of having a team for defensive reasons and Danny pointing out that any pokemon they have with them are basically one whole person even if they spend most of their time in pokeballs.
So they agree to only 'catch' a pokemon if they really might die if they don't hold them right now and forever.
Tell me Tim and Danny aren't the kind of people who cry when "X toughed it out so you wouldn't be sad" happens or "X used all its focus to break through the paralysis/poison, so you wouldn't worry"
so yeah anyway, just an excuse to have Danny and Tim on an adventure and mainly Danny carrying around a Phantump like "Guess I'm a dad now." bc ghosts, before learning where he is and stuff.
That's actually it. The whole au is built on the basis that Danny adopts a Phantump and that's his son now.
Danny arguing that Little Altair doesn't count toward their 3 allotted party slots bc "He's my son! how dare you." "Danny I know he's a ghost type but you can't just adopt him like an actual kid." "He didn't mean that baby, papas just not talking sense." "Hey!"
Considering how Danny reacts to pokeballs, absolutely against 'catching' Altair until it's explained that doing so protect Phantump from being caught by another trainer and is protection if he gets hurt, and they're far from a poke center.
It's really Altair's happy little trills and hums that win him over in the end.
