Blue moved through the wooden halls quickly, a clipboard in his hands as he passed door after door. His newest patient was in room Honeydew209, across the damn complex. And, of course, it was the damn Dryad that almost always got caught in the thorn bushes along Lake Carin until someone came and cut them out.

Wood was difficult to cut in the first place, especially Dryad bark, but this particular Dryad had a proclivity for getting into trouble.

Sighing as he finally stepped up to the right room, he opened the door with a loud “Well, Mr. Rus, you’ve already beaten your previous record of getting into shit. Are you going to try to go for it again, because if so I’d like a warning.”

The dryad in the bed sat up a little straighter, wincing from all the little cuts along his skeletal frame even as he gave Blue a sheepish grin.

“I didn’t mean to do it this time, Blue, I promise. I just really needed water, and-”

“And you can get water from literally any other stream, river, and or pond; hell, you can get water from your roots! You do not need to be swimming in Lake Carin just to get your water!!” Blue stared hard at Rus for a few seconds, before sighing and walking forward, leaving a chaste kiss on the top of his head. “I hate seeing you hurt, especially from something as silly as this.”

Rus ducked his head, a small blush gracing his features as he nodded. “Yeah doc, I hear ya.”

Blue allowed himself a small smile. “Good.”
