I love Gina Prince-Bythewood's eye and I have a deep and abiding yearning for a good big-screen Black fantasy epic directed by a Black woman that isn't part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (seriously though, thanks Black Panther for breaking the gate open) or in danger of being canceled because either the Black showrunner didn't understand the vision (Kindred) or the network didn't (Lovecraft Country)...
Anyway...
