i finally bought a "chai masala" tea to see what it is, because i think i've had a "chai masala" flavoured coffee but not a tea, and it's such a popular "flavour" (well, mix of spices, but) but i've never had it properly, so i was like time to try it! and well it is exactly and to a t what my mother puts in her coffee

Ok, first off! Tanjirou would literally eat anything and everything you made him - seriously, head AND stomach of steel
Obviously if you took the time to make it all pretty and presentable he would look it in awe and eat it slowly to properly savoir the presentation and flavoring
Loves it when you pack him all the home cooked meals
He's happy with food that were left over from breakfast or dinner from yesterday - so long as its something you've made
Enjoys your Miso Yaki Onigiri with Honey Soy Chicken with a side of cherry tomatoes + sauteed cabbage
Anything yummy makes him happy - well... anything that you've put time and effort in is always gonna make him happy
Wouldn't say he has a big sweet tooth but he really can't turn down your desserts - especially if freshly made!
Particularly loves your Matcha Marble Pound Cake

Nezuko Kamado:
Nezuko loves your bento's
She loves the bright colours of the food that you use - it always makes her happy to see that you've added something into the rice to make it slightly pink
Nezuko also has a soft spot for sweet things so when you add extra Tamagoyaki (sweetened omelette) from breakfast to her bento it adds a little pep in her step
She really loves forward to the bento's you make during cherry blossom season cause everything is cherry blossomed themed - lots of cherry blossom themed desserts too! e.g. Cherry Blossom milk pudding
Oh! Enjoys abit of Sweet and Sour in her bento - specifically when you use the lefter overs from your sweet and sour chicken + vegetables with steamed rice
Sweet and Sour Chicken with Japanese Potato Salad and steamed rice with sesame seeds and umeboshi (pickled plum) + cherry tomatoes
Will absolutely help you make the bento's
Inosuke Hashibira:
He's still getting used to receiving a packed bento - Inosuke was really confused when you first gave him one
Doesn't see the point of all the pretty food shapes and colours to begin with but he does secretly enjoy it when you shape and do all that stuff with his food - it just helps prove that you love him cause your making him food and making it into things he likes
Cackles when he opens his bento up and there's onigiri shaped like boars + pigs
Will eat anything that's smothered in teriyaki sauce or tempure-d
Absolutely adores sweet potato pie and will eat an entire one to himself.... - its safe to say that you put at least a couple of slices in his bento when you make a pie to hold him off
To give him his vitamins in the form of fruits, other than berries, you usually pack him a Fruit Sandwich/Fruit Sando - a taste sweet dessert in sandwich form that consists of sweet milk bread, fresh whipped cream with strawberries, kiwi and orange - which you usually have to give him extra as he scoffs down the first one
don't ask him to help make the bento's.....he'll eat everything as your preparing them...
Zenitsu Agatsuma:
Absolutely sobs when you give him a bento.... actually that happens every single time you make him a bento
Enjoys literally all of your food
Will absolutely sob while eating it...
Really enjoy when you use ginger and honey in the foods
Has a softspot for your Ginger Pork Onigirazu
Although he really loves when you pack Nikujaga (Meat and Potato Stew) with Shirataki Noodles with a side of Miso eggplant in his bento

Summary: Someone has been leaving Princess Helena’s lady in waiting gifts in her chamber and Helena and (Y/N) struggle to figure out who until (Y/N) catches him lemon cake handed.

There were few comforts at court since your father and brother died. You still technically had Larys but while he was your ward you had never been close with your older brother. At least not as close as you had been to Harwin. You were so much younger than the pair that Larys was often bored of your presence, but Harwin had loved it. he loved having a little sibling to play with and take care of. He taught you how to fight with a stick then a wooden sword then eventually, without telling your father, a real one. Larys wasn’t mean or cruel he just…didn’t care. So you were surprised he decided to keep you with him at court when your father and brother died. You expected to be sent back to Harrenhall. Instead, you stayed at court and became Helena’s official lady in waiting. You had always been friends before this, being raised side by side in court due to your father being the king's hand, so all your duties were basically just doing what you usually did. You would read with her, talk, take walks, do her hair, and listen to her dreams. But Larys seemed happy with the ‘upgrade’. Being so close with Helena meant being close to her brothers. While Aegon and you knew each other you rarely spoke though when you did it was often him asking for milk of the poppy for his hangovers. Aemond talked to you more often however still not a lot. Occasionally you would have dinner with his sister and him, and sometimes the rest of the Targaryen Hightower as well. He would talk about all things polite and expected but you would often catch him looking at you.
When you walked the halls with Helena you couldn’t tell if he was watching you or his sisters. However, even when Helena was not around you could swear you saw him glancing. You never had the nerve to glance back more than once. Sometimes if you were brave twice. It was hard not to stare but somehow you managed. After a long day at court of fake smiling and making connections that made you nauseous, you returned to your chambers to find a plate of lemon cakes sitting on the table by your window. You couldn’t help but smile as you relaxed with your treats by the window, watching the sunset. You didn’t even question who had left them. Then the next day arrived, and you found more treats in your room. A plate of iced currant cakes sat in the same spot the lemon cakes had. The day after that it was spiced cake. After that, it was gingered brie tart then cheesecake then strawberry pudding on the 7th day. Each day you grew more suspicious that the kitchen didn’t just feel like being nice to you. You had asked a servant who often attended your chambers but she said she didn’t know. Who had been coming into your room to leave treats? Then it made sense. “Helena,” You smiled as you jogged to catch up to her and take her arm. “(Y/N)! you look happier than usual,” she said, linking her arm with yours as you began to walk together. “Would you like to join me in the gardens?” “I would love to,” You beamed, “Also I wanted to say thank you. The cakes were so sweet, but you really didn’t need to,” Helena’s face scrunched up “what cakes? Though im glad they’re making you happy. If I knew that’s all it took I would’ve hired a personal baker,” “The cakes? The ones I’ve been finding in my room every night,” You stopped walking and Helena turned to look at you “It’s not been you leaving them?” “I haven’t the foggiest idea what you’re talking about,” After filling her in on all the details you finally arrived at the gardens. You sat together on the grass by a large yew tree on the edge of the garden. “That’s so strange,” she said, “but im more worried about what stranger is going into your room. Unless the servant girl was lying and does know,” “But why would she lie? Who wouldn’t want me to know they’re a nice person?” you said. Suddenly Helena's smile took over her face, “You must have a secret admirer. Oh (Y/N) this is so adorable. Some starry-eyed lover is leaving you cakes!” You laughed as she took your hands, “Helena that doesn’t change me not knowing who’s been going in my room,” As you both laughed and talked together, speculating who it may be, you saw Aemond walk past, and your eyes felt glued to him however when you saw him walking over to you both you tore your eyes away. “Sister. (Y/N). you both seem very giggly today. Should I be scared?” he asked, raising an eyebrow, Before you could stop her Helena already started “(Y/N) has a secret admirer. Someone has been leaving her cakes in her room for the past week. We’re trying to think who it could be. Have you heard anything,” you felt your cheeks grow redder as she spoke. A smirk began to ghost Aemond’s face, “I can’t say I have but I will be sure to keep an ear out. Are there any suspects in particular?” “Not yet,” Helena said, “but im dying to find out who. I wonder what they’ll leave you tomorrow,” “Well if they keep leaving cakes my teeth may fall out,” you joked. Aemond’s smirk disappeared but you couldn’t tell why. He was probably getting bored of your conversation, “then again id be happy with anything he left me. It’s just nice to be appreciated,” Aemond smiled “I understand. I’ll let you girls know if I hear anything. Goodbye sister. (Y/N).”
Later that night you returned to your chambers and went to check what treat you received this time only to find a book instead. Maybe your admirer had realised the effects of eating so many sweets. From that night your gifts started to vary far more. You found books, flowers, fruits, honey, perfume, wine, and still the occasional sweet treat. After a full month of these gifts, you were desperate to find out who had been leaving them. The servants insisted they had no knowledge, and you didn’t like to try intimidating them. By this point, Aegon had also found out and took to teasing you about who it could be. You just hoped it didn’t get back to your brother. Usually, you didn’t head back to your chambers till after yours and Helena's usual dinner at 7 however her son had spat up on you halfway through and you needed to return to change. As you walked down the corridor from Helena’s room to your own you attempted to wipe the stain away with a rag. You were so preoccupied you didn’t even see Aemond until you had already knocked into him. “Im so sorry my prince I- “ “It’s okay,” You looked up and watched as his face went red, “I was just leaving. Goodnight,” You watched as Aemond rushed down the corridors and disappeared down the stairs. He had rushed off before he went to either his mother's or Helena’s chambers, only Helena’s children’s chambers and your own and there were in this corridor. You couldn’t help but wonder what happened. Maybe the smell of the baby's spit had grossed him out. You couldn’t tell. Eventually, you turned and headed to your own chambers to change. After a struggle of trying to get your dress on and your nightgown on did you even think to check the table by the window. You walked over to the table and found a velvet box which you opened to reveal a gold chain necklace with a flower pendant. You smiled as your fingers traced the flower and carefully took it from its box. The chain felt so delicate against your skin. After putting it on you sat by the window, watching over the courtyard with one hand on the necklace. You looked down to see Aemond walking across the courtyard. He stopped and turned for a second and he looked up at your room. You smiled and used your free hand to wave. For once you didn’t feel afraid to look at him. You couldn’t tell if he smiled back but he waved back and continued walking.
The next day you showed Helena the necklace and she gushed over it. she insisted it meant he was getting more serious, and he’d show his face soon. You weren’t so sure, but you couldn’t help feeling excited. A few days passed and you headed to Helena’s chamber to have your usual dinner when you found out she was ill. She insisted it was nothing and you would have dinner the next night but she was just tired. You kissed her forehead and wished her well and returned to your own room to have dinner there. You opened the door to your chambers and went to walk to your bed when you heard something smash and your head snapped to where the table by the window was. “Aemond?” you asked as he frantically tried to pick up the broken plate and now ruined lemon cakes. “Are you okay?” “Im fine im sorry I just knocked this over im sorry,” “Hey, it’s okay,” you said as you walked over and crouched beside him, gently taking the pieces out of his hands, and sitting them on the table, “Its only lemon cake,” Aemond nodded his head and finally stood up but wouldn’t look at you, instead staring at the floor. You placed a hand on his shoulder, “Are you okay?” “I’m fine,” he mumbled, eyes still glued to the floor, “I’ll leave you be. Goodnight (Y/N),” As Aemond quickly walked to the door you looked at the plate and then to him, “Did you leave these here?” Aemond froze. You had never seen him lost for words. He was quite sure. But he was quiet by choice. He always had a response for everything. But now he stood in the middle of your room silent as a ghost and almost as pale as one. “What are you doing in my room Aemond?” you pressed, walking towards him. “Are you the one that’s been leaving me all these gifts?” You walked in front of the prince, forcing him to look at you. “And if I have?” he asked. “Would you be mad?” “Why would I be mad?” you smiled. “I don’t know,” He whispered as he looked down again. You smiled, taking a step closer, “Well if it had been you, I would need to say thank you. Then id need to try make up for all the gifts you gave me,” Aemond eyes darted up to look at you. A smile finally started to come across his face. “How would you make it up to me? If I had of course,” “Well, if you had,” you said taking another step closure, only being a few inches apart, “I might just have to kiss you,” Aemond waited no more time and closed the gap. He grabbed your waist and brought you in to kiss you. Your hands went to his chest to try to steady yourself which only seemed to make the kiss get deeper. Eventually, you had to pull away for air and you rested your forehead on his. “I’ll need to get you more lemon cakes,” Aemond said as he grinned down at you. You couldn’t stop the smile on your face, “I can think of something I want more than cakes right now,” you said as you pulled him back in for another kiss.

So the devs for the Arcana actually posted the recipe for Selasi the Baker's pumpkin bread on their YouTube channel four years ago?!?

@helshollowhalls sent me the link because they know I like to make my own bread on my days off. Read below the cut for pictures of my attempt and my in depth review!
First off, this is an involved recipe. You can expect it to take 4 hours start to finish (for context, my normal weekly baking for 2 loaves of whole wheat bread takes about 2 hours). There's the dough itself, the pumpkin filling, and a glaze to go on top.

The original recipe says that the result should be a mildly sweet, mildly spiced bread. I'm sure that it normally is. However, it seems Asra and I share certain experimental tendencies when it comes to making food, because I ended up more than doubling the spices in the pumpkin filling.
The result I got was honestly one of the best sweet breads I've ever eaten. There's cinnamon in the dough, the glaze, and the filling, so the whole thing tastes really warm and comforting and homey. Don't let it fool you though, because (at least the way I ended up making it) the spices liven it up. It has cloves, all spice, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg besides the expected sugar, salt, and vanilla. It didn't call for cardamon but I added a respectable chunk of that anyways because it was sitting in my spice rack with all the others and I didn't want it to feel ignored. (And also because it was referenced as being in the rice pudding in Asra's route.) I also like making pumpkin soup through the winter, so my filling came out a little more watery than it normally would because I like to steam and freeze my own pumpkin puree.
The result I got was rich, sweet, soft, and flavorful enough that I was still tasting it after I brushed my teeth. The smell also lingered in my kitchen for days. The dough is enriched, meaning that it has eggs and milk and butter in it, which makes it somewhat like a cinnamon brioche. It would be like if a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin pie had a kickass loaf baby. The cinnamon glaze on top definitely added sweetness, but what I appreciated about it was how sticky and gooey the texture became because of it. Be prepared for delightfully messy eating.
If you're thinking, brainrot, the only reason you like this so much is because it makes you feel like you're sitting across from your beloved in the marketplace on a sunny Vesuvian afternoon, I'd say you're not wrong. It's a whole experience. However, after I had my first slice, I took it over to my family's place to share and fell asleep right after. By the time I woke up the whole thing was gone. My mom and younger sibling on their own admitted to eating at least two thirds of it before my dad could get to it. The other younger sibling got all of one (1) slice, poor dude.
100000000/10 will absolutely be scheduling four hours into my next day off to make it again.
(Side note - if you're looking for a trans malewife who cooks/bakes for fun and cleans up after himself and will spend four hours making something just because it's referenced in a romance game, I am right here. I desire cuddles.)

What food was served to the sick aboard a Ship ?
This decision about what a sick person was allowed to eat was made by the surgeon. He determined whether the man was put on a full (pieces of meat were included in the meal wich included soft bread, pudding and soup)), half (soft bread, pudding and soup) or low diet (just soup). And in consultation with the purser, he gave the man his ration according to the instructions. The Surgeon also discussed with the Captain whether it was necessary to kill an animal for additional meat or whether the sick man was given wine while the rest of the crew was given beer or grog at the time.

In principle, however, the sick received their food with little or no salt. In addition, a sowins or flummery was cooked, which was a kind of very thin oat porridge. The flummery, by the way, developed in the course of the 18th century into a very popular desert, in which the porridge was sweetened, milk and cream were added, but also madeira and fruits were also added. If she was lucky, her porridge was sweetened a little and enriched with milk.
Another big part of the diet was the portable soup and flour, which was used to make soft bread or pudding, which could also be sweetened and sultanas added, depending on the surgeon's instructions. What was also not to be missed was the daily portion of alcohol, but it could be that the patient had to do without it completely, or only light wines diluted with water, or very strong alcohol.But that also depended on the Surgeon, whether he allowed it or not.

One problem was that the whole thing consumed a lot of extra material, which is why the Surgeon received ready-packed Necessaries boxes from the Sick and Injured Board. These came in three sizes - half single for 25 men, single for 50 men and double for 100 men. Their contents were sufficient for three months' service. If we now assume HMS Victory with her 850 men, then the Surgeon received 8 double and one single box for 3 months. If she had now been at sea for 6 months, we would have 17 double chests. A double case of 1806 contained linen and flannel, a saucepan, a canister for tea and one for sago, 4 1/2 pounds (2.04 kg) of tea, 4 pounds (1.81 kg) of sago, 8 pounds (3.63 kg) of rice, 16 pounds (7.26 kg) of barley, 32 pounds (14.51 kg) of soft sugar and 2 ounces (57 g) of ginger powder. In the Mediterranean, barley was replaced by macaroni and in the West Indies by arrowroot. Portable soap and lemon juice were added to the list of medicines, and the sickbay was even given special equipment that included pillows, nightcaps, bedpans and spitting pots. After the Napoleonic wars and the development of cannings, tins of beef and soup were added.
Small treats were also occasionally brought into the sickbay from the officers' table to get the men back on their feet more quickly and to spoil them a little. But this was only allowed after consultation with the Surgeon.

these r just some recipes for foods that i eat every single day, and they r healthy and easy to make. they r also great if u have a busy lifestyle bcuz they're super easy and quick to make <3

SALADS -
carrot salad - carrots! carrots r an amazing source of vitamin A and isn't only beneficial for ur skin, but also ur eyesight, and ur immune system; for the recipe i'd wash a carrot and shave it, then add one cap of apple cider vinegar and olive oil, with salt and pepper and i'll eat that as a side dish along with my meal
cucumber salad - cucumbers r also an amazing source of hydration and is great for ur skin. just slice a couple cucumbers and add olive oil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes
meditteranean salad - dice cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and make a vinaigrette using lemon, olive oil, and salt and pepper and add those all together with some basil for a hydrating delicious salad
SNACKS -
pan con tómate - its simply toasted bread with oil, grated tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper
apple slices and peanut butter
frozen grapes with lime juice on top
literally any assortment of veggies with lime juice and salt
sliced fruit bowls with lemon juice
DINNERS -
how i make tofu - so i always use firm tofu and i'll dry it with a paper towel just to make sure that its dry (make sure to drain the excess water) and on a separate plate i'd add some flour, and seasonings of my choice. then coat the tofu in the flour and put it on a hot pan (approximately 5 min per side of tofu) or until its crispy, and then i'll make a sauce, usually with soy sauce, ginger and honey.
cucumber sushi - i'd wash and shave cucumbers, then take the shavings and lay them out as though it was wrapping paper (if that makes sense) then dry it with a paper towel so that the ingredients can stick onto it. then i'd fill it with sticky rice, sauces, tuna sometimes, or literally anything u wanna fill it with and then roll it up like u would do with sushi and cut it into pieces.
SANDWICHES -
sandwich one - take a hard boiled egg and break it down in a bowl, and add some mayo and mustard (trust) to create a paste like mixture. spread all that onto some bread. then add some lettuce, tomato, and cucumber.
BREAKFASTS -
overnight oats - in a container, add some oats, greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey, fruits of choice (i often use strawberries or blueberries) and almond milk and then shake that up and let it stay in the fridge overnight for an easy breakfast in the morning.
chia seed pudding - add three tablespoons of chia seeds into a container, half a cup of almond milk, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and some honey (add coco powder if u like chocolate) and then put that in the fridge overnight.

Breakfast is so important and it’s actually one of my favourite mealtimes, there’s just something so soothing and relaxing making myself a delicious and nutritious breakfast. If you don’t get hungry as soon as you wake up then you could always use these as brunch options or just try the less filling options instead. You deserve a breakfast that is as gorgeous as you absolutely are!!

Yogurt parfait (yogurt, fruit and granola layered).
A smoothie bowl! This is a great way to get more nutrients into your diet and as smoothie bowls are so customisable you can add all of your favourite fruits and veggies.
A yogurt bowl. Start with a base of yogurt then add a variety of toppings from honey, nuts, fruit pieces to granola.
A fruit salad. Chop up a bunch of fruits, drizzle them with some lemon and enjoy!
Overnight oats. This is one of my favourite make ahead breakfast options - you can even blend them to make them even more creamy. Pinterest has lots of great recipes and inspiration.
Granola. I love making my own granola (it's much healthier and I personally find it to be tastier). You can have granola with yogurt, smoothie bowls and milk making it super versatile and easy.
A smoothie. This is perfect for a nice chill morning or when you don't wake up super hungry.
Homemade granola bars. These are super easy to make and are great for busy, hectic mornings.
Chia seed pudding.
Homemade muesli.
Healthy banana bread. This is so much fun to make and can be eaten as a snack or served with some Greek yogurt for breakfast.
Cereal and milk/milk alternatives. This is so easy and super quick, perfect for mornings when you're in a rush. I love to add fruits like banana or strawberries to my cereal!
Hot breakfasts:
Avocado toast! If I want a more protein heavy breakfast I'll add a poached egg.
Porridge (or oatmeal as some of you guys call it). Porridge will always be a 10/10 breakfast for me, especially when I add fruits, nuts and other toppings to it.
Baked oats. These are really comforting and yummy but they do take a while to bake so probably aren't the best option for people who have hectic, busy mornings.
A breakfast bagel. My personal favourite breakfast bagel combo is scrambled eggs, rocket and avocado. Super simple but always a winner.
Banana pancakes!
Pesto eggs. If you haven't tried these yet I really recommend them.
Toast and nut spreads. I adore peanut butter toast topped with banana or blueberries, but I also love an almond butter.
French toast. To me no breakfast item is more autumn that French toast. It's one of my comfort autumn weekend breakfast foods!!
Bacon or sausages with toast and eggs. I really like turkey bacon with poached eggs and tomatoes.
Eggs. Poaches, scrambled, boiled, fried there are so many variations of eggs and they are a perfect protein packed way to start your day.
Croissants or other warm pastries. So you can live out your Paris morning dreams.
Homemade waffles. These are super easy to make (provided you have a waffle maker) and you can find healthier recipes and toppings to make them super tasty and unique!
Breakfast quesadilla's. These are so good and such a fun summery breakfast. Plus they're easy to make a lot of if you're having people over for breakfast.
Drink ideas
A matcha latte! I love matcha whether it's iced or hot. When I'm feeling energetic I make a strawberry iced matcha latte!
Green tea.
Chai. I love an iced chai latte in the summer.
A juice! My favourite juices are cranberry, grapefruit and green juice. You can make juices yourself but this can be a bit pricy, so you can always find brands you like and buy them instead.
A smoothie.
Ginger tea.
Water. I always drink water as soon as I wake up but if you find it hard to stomach in the morning try adding some lemon or cucumber slices.
Peppermint tea.

watermelon slices
carrot sticks
egg whites
small bowl of grapes
small bowl of whole grain pasta
black coffee
handful of lentil sticks
some almonds
strawberries
blueberries
raspberries
salmon or tuna on a piece of brown bread
diet coke
plain pro biotic yoghurts
flavoured water
crushed ice with no sugar flavouring
celery sticks
2 plain rice cakes
banana pancake
small packet of skittles (the sour ones)
skinny popcorn
one scoop of low cal ice cream from aldi
herbal tea (preferably ginger/tumeric)
small porridge with almond milk
shaven carrots with lemon juice and pepper
cucumber with salt/pepper
chia seed pudding with almond milk
a clementine
one handful of dark chocolate chips
3 round saltine crackers with low calorie cheese triangle
one handful of shredded wheat
half a plain grilled chicken with cauliflower rice
small portion of turkey mince with vegetables
I can’t think of anything else rn, but these are all my safe foods which do not turn me into a fat lard💕

What are the favorite foods of the Disney Princesses?
Snow White: Baked goods made with fruit, like plum pudding and gooseberry pie. Although after her poisoning, she might have an aversion to apples, or at least to red ones.
Cinderella: Classic French onion soup: simple yet elegant. I imagine that she also likes desserts made with citrus, in honor of the oranges and citrons the King gives her in Perrault's original tale.
Aurora: Wild blackberries, like the ones she picks during "I Wonder."
Ariel: Strawberries, according to Disney Wiki.
Belle: "The gray stuff" from "Be Our Guest." Unlike the version served at the Disney Parks, I'm sure it's not a cookies and cream dessert, though: it's some type of savory hors d'oeuvre, like a whipped pâté.
Jasmine: I won't name a specific Middle Eastern dish, because it's not clear which country Agrabah belongs to, but I'll imagine she likes various fancy beef or lamb dishes that include roasted eggplant.
Pocahontas: Fresh corn and berries.
Tiana: Her own traditional New Orleans cooking, especially gumbo and beignets.
Rapunzel: Baked goods: cakes, pies, cupcakes, and cookies. That's why baking was one of her main time-passing hobbies in the tower. She also likes hazelnut and parsnip soup, as Mother Gothel reveals.
Mulan: Congee, with plenty of ginger and scallions. (And next time, she'd like Mushu to leave out the bacon and egg smily-face.)
Merida: Apples, since she's shown eating one early in the movie. (In Amy Mebberson's Pocket Princess comics, the other Princesses call on her to eat any red apple they come across before Snow White can see it and have a panic attack.)
Anna and Elsa: Chocolate. This is canon. (If they lived in a later time period, I imagine that Anna would prefer milk chocolate while Elsa would prefer dark, and that Anna would love white chocolate while Elsa would find it disgusting. But they apparently live in the 1840s, before milk or white chocolates were invented.)
Moana: Roast pork, since again, she's shown enjoying it in the movie.

Stardew Valley ladies��� favorite desserts (including SVE) 
Abigail
this girl is all about the desserts - banana pudding, blackberry cobbler, chocolate cake. Picks fresh blackberries from your farm every year. 
Gets bananas from Ginger Island to make her own banana pudding. Definitely needs multiple alarms to remember to remove items from the oven. 
loves everything pumpkin spice - mousse, pudding, pies, cakes, muffins, bagels, etc. 
is first in line for a pumpkin spice latte. Complete with a cozy hat, scarf, and sniffing the steam from the beverage with a pleasant sigh. 
chocolate pumpkin donuts? Is that a thing? 
sucks on rock candy - nearly chipped a tooth once. 
would drag the Farmer around the Spirit’s Eve festival to get all the pumpkin treats and candy (no black licorice though, please)
Claire 
enjoys fruity desserts - apricots are her favorite. 
Apricot jam and scones is a perfect snack with a hot cup of tea. 
also loves apples - and bakes an apple pie every fall. 
Eats a slice while in her garden and watching the birds at the feeder. 
secretly stockpiles recipes from the cooking channel and her favorite movies. 
stocks up on discounted joja candies and feels guilty about it later. 
if in a romantic relationship, would enjoy a lazy afternoon between leafy fruit trees, lying in the grass, eating fruit and fresh cream on the farm. 
Emily 
drinks a kale and fruit smoothie every morning before she meditates. makes dessert alcoholic beverages all the time at Gus’s. Hardly anyone buys them, but she enjoys making pina coladas with fresh cherries and pineapple from your farm. 
when she’s in a silly mood, she will put a scoop of ice cream in a beer after work. Gus might join her if he’s in a particularly jovial mood. Sam would absolutely join, but more ice cream, less beer. 
picks up cranberry candy every time she visits Ginger Island 
bakes rhubarb pie. She’s halfway decent in the kitchen, playing very zen music when she cooks. Might overload on sugar. 
In a romantic relationship, the Farmer would be the unwitting participant in taste testing Emily’s sugary desserts and beverages. 
Haley
Pink cake is her favorite. 
definitely owns a frilly apron. 
Dances in the kitchen a bit when baking.

organizes a cake walk fundraiser nearly every year. Coordinates with all the ladies of the community. Jodi, by far, bakes the most cakes - there’s always an overload of chocolate cakes of various sizes (perfectly iced).  Marnie enters a pumpkin cake. Robin “makes” a peach cobbler (really it’s Sebastian with Robin’s help). Caroline makes tea cakes. 
Is very particular about the display of cakes, with her own right in the center on a lacy pedestal. 
Any excuse to bake a cake for the farmer if in a romantic relationship, with fresh ingredients from their farm. 
Leah 
Not a big sweets person. Likes fruity dessert salads. 
Foraged berries are a great treat! Salmonberries, blackberries, 
Enjoys a slice of cheesecake every once in awhile - made from goat cheese. 
really, really, really loves fruit punch (especially when it’s spiked) 
needs Elliott (or the Farmer) to escort her home as she trips over her own feet if she’s too far gone on the “punch” 
skips out on Haley’s cake walk - yuck! Pink cake! Blech! 
Also doesn’t like cookies or ice cream. (What’s with this woman!) 
Makes an exception for stardrop sorbet when it’s available at the movie theater. 
Maru
kindly eats Emily’s (too sweet) rhubarb pie without complaint 
this girl adores strawberries - fresh strawberries and cream is a delightful late spring treat. 
also will eat pretty much any strawberry dessert - strawberry pie, strawberry pound cake, strawberry turnovers
makes little strawberry jam thumbprint cookies for everyone’s Christmas stockings. 
buys Miner’s Treat from the Adventurer’s Guild regularly. (cave carrots, sugar, and milk so I’m guessing carrot juice smoothie popsicles?) 
asks Alex to make her a strawberry soda shake in the summertime 
begs her dad to take her to the Strawberry Festival in Grampleton. Demetrius still goes with her every year even if she can drive herself now.
if friends with the Farmer, would invite them along on her annual trip to the Strawberry Festival. If in a romantic relationship, would take the farmer sans Demetrius. 
Olivia 
cannot bake to save her life, but will eat plenty of chocolate and pink cakes. 
spends the most money at Haley’s cake walk. gifts to all her friends. 
loves dessert wines, especially when paired with cake. 
also loves coffee-flavored desserts like her son. will dip biscotti in her afternoon coffee. 
happens to enjoy apples dipped in caramel in the fall. got really into it one year and tried to make her own. the canning turned into a disaster. the apples were good. 
would love to be invited apple picking if the farmer is offering. if in a romantic relationship, she would bring a favorite recipe for apple cake she has stored for years and shyly requests the “cutie” make it for her. 
Penny
loves poppyseed muffins and poppyseed cake. 
while she can cook, she doesn’t bake well. Prefers to buy her baked goods from Joja or Pierre’s. 
that time she ate so many poppyseed muffins in high school that she tested positive for drugs by accident. She was so depressed, she ran away and cried up on the mountain and actually did weed with Sebastian. 
she enjoys a good watermelon smoothie in the summertime. Alex keeps extra in stock just for her. 
If in a relationship with the farmer, she regularly makes poppyseed muffins for breakfast. 
Sophia
orders Japanese candies off the internet 
keeps a stash of candy in her apron to nibble on throughout the day 
likes unusual fruit cookies - apple and cinnamon chips, passion fruit cremes, rhubarb macaroons, mandarin orange flavored pizelles. 
also would roll mochi with Sebastian late at night, if he would let her join him. brings wine from her farm to share. 
leaves little treats out for the fairies on the eve of spring (like kids leave cookies for Santa). It’s a superstition she’s had since she was a kid. Has never failed to help her crop season.
would absolutely go do karaoke with friends and order all sorts of desserts for them - green tea ice cream, coffee jelly, banana sushi 
if in a romantic relationship with the Farmer, would bring them a slice of Japanese cheesecake on the new moon.
