It took me, um *counts on fingers*…. 16 years to realize that maybe, just maybe, the Justaway is just another penis joke in the penis-joke anime.

Delusional
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
↦ pairing: yandere!hoshi x reader
↦ warning: high schoolers making out, hoshi looks at reader in a sexual way at some point, sensual.
↦ note: delusional obsessive boy hoshi sounds just about right!
↦ word count: 1k (damn wtf)
Tumblr media
Hoshi's gaze had been fixated on you from the very beginning of senior year in high school. And he loved jotting down little details about you.
Her school skirt is always slightly shorter than the norm, leading to occasional scoldings from teachers.
Her hair reaches a little lower than her shoulders. (It’s been 3 years and she maintains the same length)
She always arrives at school at 7:30/7:40 A.M.
She always takes breakfast in class before the first class of the day. (It’s always sandwiches and strawberry milk)
Applies her strawberry flavoured lip gloss at least 4 times a day in school. (One, after breakfast, two, a few minutes before lunch break, three, after lunch break, four, before school ends.)
Has a bunch of strawberry flavoured candies in her school bag.
Loves strawberries. (cute.)
She doesn’t like participating in P.E. or any sports event.
She always sleeps during history class, stays in class during P.E and is always attentive during English class.
She likes to watch anime at the back of the class with her friends when a teacher is absent. (She seems to like Gintama recently)
She smiled at me today. (That must mean she loves me?)
And he seems to be persistent on the 11th detail. Both of you are in the same class, which means it’s not impossible to avoid each other and small interactions do happen here and there.
But though he hasn’t asked you directly about it, he seems to believe that you too are in love with him.
Delusional, people would call him. But he knows the truth. He knows you better than anyone.
~~~
In the midst of P.E class, Hoshi found himself unable to focus and quickly excused himself, making a beeline for the empty classroom. His face flushed with embarrassment, his cheeks burning like a raging fire. The sound of his own heartbeat echoed in his ears, pounding loudly as if it were a drum. The cause of his distress? You. The teacher had coerced you into participating in P.E today, despite your previous disinterest in the class for the past year or two.
“It’ll be boys vs girls today and it’ll only tally when you participate so make sure to come.” The teacher told you.
But the clothes you had were only from your first year, and they hugged your chest so snugly, highlighting your figure in a way that Hoshi had never expected. He had seen you in your short school skirt before, which was more revealing than P.E. clothes, but this was different. It ignited a whirlwind of thoughts in his mind.
Perhaps he enjoyed the allure of someone exuding sexiness even when fully dressed? No, that wasn't it. He loved it because it was you.
With a slight shake of his head, hoping to dispel the thoughts of you, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed. "Maybe if I write it all down," he mumbled to himself, retrieving his notebook filled with every intricate detail about you and he began to hastily jot down his thoughts.
33. She only has one P.E clothes, which was from two years ago. She had no choice but to wear it today and her che-
As the classroom door slid open, he swiftly concealed the book beneath his desk, trying to appear nonchalant. His gaze fixated on the entrance, his heart skipped a beat when he saw you walk in. A smile accompanied by a gentle nod greeted him, as you settled into the seat directly in front of him.
Usually, he’s happy to be in the same room as you but right now, no. Especially not when you’re still in your P.E clothes.
“Since you left, the boys were outnumbered by one person so I volunteered to sit out too.”
Huh? You’re talking to him? Him?
“Oh, I- I see.” That's all he managed to say, desperately avoiding looking anywhere below your face. An awkward silence fills between the two of you.
"Hey, are you okay?" You inquire, noticing his heavy breathing and his gaze that was fixed on particularly nothing behind you. "Hoshi?" Your voice pronounces his name, and suddenly he becomes acutely aware of the tightness in his pants.
It's the first time you've ever called him by his name. Of course, you were aware of his name, but you had never uttered it aloud before, as there was never a need to call out to him. Hoshi had often daydreamed about the melody of his name rolling off your tongue, but nothing could match the authenticity of hearing it firsthand.
“Are you sick?” You ask him in a worried tone. As you rise from your seat, your hand instinctively reaches out to check his temperature. The gentle touch of your hand against his forehead seems to ignite a feverish heat on his face. "Y/N," he murmurs your name, his grip tightening around your wrist.
Before you can comprehend his actions, he swiftly manoeuvres you, positioning you against his desk. His free arm encircles your waist, drawing you closer to him. Your chest brushing against his increases his already heightened state.
"Y/N," he whispers your name once more, his lips finding yours in a long-awaited kiss. Finally, he experiences the sensation of kissing the lips he had always yearned for. The taste of strawberries lingers on your lips, a delightful result of the lip gloss you adored.
Tongue. Her tongue.
That's all his mind could comprehend, but your lips remained tightly sealed, denying him the one thing he craved in this moment. Hoshi withdraws his hand from your waist, only to slide it beneath your shirt, his icy touch against your flesh causing you to gasp within the embrace. Seizing the opportunity, he thrusts his tongue into your awaiting mouth.
The kiss is messy with a blend of possessiveness and urgency, yet there also lingers a subtle desperation.
His hand continues its upward glide along your exposed skin, encircling your body with a possessive grip that sends shivers down your spine. The hand that once held your wrist is now entwined in your hair. "So soft... Just as I had imagined," he muses to himself.
His plump lips finally part from yours, granting you the sweet release of breath that you had been holding captive.
“Wha– What is wrong with you.?!” He grimaces at your voice, yet still refuses to release you from his arms. He wants to keep holding you like this, to keep you close. “I’m sorry, I–” Hoshi begins to speak, but his words trail off as he catches sight of the expression on your face.
There were many emotions displayed on your face but ‘anger’ wasn’t one of them. Instead, you appear flustered and embarrassed, your cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. "Are you... blushing?" he questions, his hand instinctively reaching out to caress your cheek, only to be swiftly pushed away.
You rush out of the classroom and at the same time, the other students walk into the class. "Y/N," he murmurs your name, his fingertips grazing his lips as he reminisces about the kiss and the emotions that played across your face mere moments ago.
"She definitely likes me."
In his own way {Gintoki Sakata}
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: Gintoki picks up on you being stressed and makes it his mission to make you feel better without you figuring him out
Pairing: Gintoki x fem!reader
Trigger Warnings: mentions of stress, anxiety
Tumblr media
Gintoki is no fool. He can appear as ignorant, but he is not. Especially when something happens to the people he cares about.
A week had passed by since he first picked up on your strange behaviour. He couldn't really explain it himself and he wasn't planning on asking Kagura or Shimura.
"You know... I thought we had agreed on shouldering each other’s pain." He looked at you through the mirror of the small bathroom. He was lucky that you lived opposite from Odd Jobs because it was heavily snowing.
"Sorry?" You turned around to look at him, obviously confused.
After spending most of yesterday's evening and the night together, he had noticed that you were in better spirits than the past week. But that didn't mean he would give up on learning what was wrong.
"You are straightening your hair."
"I am."
"It's naturally wavy."
"It is."
"Do you know how many times I've gotten into trouble just because I have naturally wavy hair? I thought we were in this together."
It wasn't exactly what he wanted to say but he hoped you would understand. The confused look on your face showed him that you didn't.
He didn't bothered you more than that though. He knew that you had promised Kagura to take her to this new ramen shop a few streets away from Odd Jobs.
But when you walked in with Kagura and you weren't smiling, he knew something was up. Kagura always made you smile.
Not moving his eyes away from you, he let his JUMP issue on the couch and stood up. He was lucky that Kagura and Shinpachi weren't paying attention because he practically glued himself on you.
"I thought we were in this together..."
"You said the same thing this morning as well." You sighed and removed your scarf.
"You ate that new chocolate cake from the pastry shop."
"No, I actually ordered mochi, why?" His eyes narrowed. To you it looked like he didn't believe you but that wasn't the case. "Are you angry because I ordered mochi?"
"No, I am angry because you don't seem to understand that we are in this together." He stuffed his pinky finger in his nostril, searching for boogers.
A small pause followed. He could read it on your face that you had understood what he was trying to say. And he was glad that it didn't take you more than that to tell him what had been bothering you the past week.
Like he had imagined, it was your anxiety. He stayed silent as you explained the issue. It wasn't a major one and it was unlikely that it would actually happen but it still bothered you and because of that, he was there to listen.
"Good girl." He let out a sigh and patted your head before turning around to leave.
"You can't just... I poured my heart out! Calling me a good girl doesn't-"
"Oh trust me it does." He turned around, pinky already in his nostril. "My job isn't to feed you lies to calm you down." He said softly as he removed his pinky from his nose, wiping it on his robe. "I prefer giving you something else to think about." He smirked and leaned down to kiss your cheek.
A/n: this is the first time I'm writing for Gintoki, you are free to request him but keep in mind I'm still in episode 40 something of Gintama so be careful 😂. Anyways I know this is poorly written mostly because my mind and thoughts were all over the place while writing it. It's mostly written to comfort me but of course if it's a source of comfort for anyone else, I'm more than happy to hear that (I was either going to write about him or Dazai)
Note
Is there any reason why modern anime only has like 12 episode cours? In the 2000s we had anime like Gintama having like 40+ eps running the whole year.
there's a lot of factors in this, to the point where giving any one reason would be significantly oversimplifying
that said, to significantly oversimplify things, it's in large part because it's less financially risky to run shows season-by-season, testing the waters for whether you're going to be able to make back the money. it's way harder to have a studio-sinking failure when you can see a badly-performing season and simply decide to not go any further with it
Je vais parler un peu plus en détail de Gintama pour le présenter à des non-fans. Vous connaissez peut-être seulement de nom ou d'image mais je suis sûre que vous ne savez pas ce que c'est réellement.
Gintama est méconnu du public français et étranger car c'est un manga "trop"japonais, il y a de nombreuses références et de nombreuses blagues que seuls les japonais peuvent comprendre. Cependant avec l'aide des traducteurs qui nous expliquent en même temps les références, on peut tout de même passer un bon moment.   C'est un manga comique saupoudré de combats badass, d'émotion, drame et de mort. Il y a approximativement 70 % comédie et 30 % de sérieux avec combats et émotions. Les deux premiers épisodes sont des HS, donc vous pouvez les sauter si vous le désirez ou les regarder en sachant que ce n'est pas dans le scénario. Car, même s'il n'est pas visible au début, il y a bien un scénario qui tourne autour du héros. Il faut s'accrocher car le début est lent à se mettre en place, mais on rencontre petit à petit chaque personnages dans des épisodes comiques, l'auteur utilise aussi ces épisodes pour approfondir les liens entre les personnages dans des faits quotidiens (ce qui est différent avec les autres mangas où les liens sont approfondis par les combats) et pour qu'on voit d'autres facettes des personnages. Au début, le héros rencontre les personnages mais Sorachi (le mangaka) met déjà en place les bases dès les 30 premiers épisodes où on rencontrent les Harusame (pirates de l'espace), le Tendoushuu et Takasugi, qui sont les principaux antagonistes. D'ailleurs le petit arc avec les Harusame a une conséquence sur l'arc Benizakura qui arrive 30-40 épisodes plus tard.
Il mélange divers humour: absurde, vulgaire, grossier, salace, noir, enfantin, ect...Ils font de nombreuses parodies des autres mangas du Shonen Jump, mais tout en restant dans l'histoire et sans citer le nom du manga en question. En fait, déjà dans le manga, le Shonen Jump existe (et les autres aussi) et le héros est un grand lecteur. Donc par exemple, l'auteur de Gintama a créé un personnage le représentant en tant que gorille dessinant le manga Gintaman. Bref, il y a donc des parodies, des comparaisons, critiques ou exemples avec les autres mangas, mais aussi avec des films, acteurs, présentateurs TV, chanteurs, politiciens. Gintama brise tout le temps le 4ème mur, c'est-à-dire que les personnages parlent de leur manga (une fois par saison, les personnages se retrouvent pour parler de ce qu'il faut améliorer ou autres. Il y a même eu un arc entier consacré au top des personnages du manga où ils combattent les uns contre les autres pour augmenter leur rang donné par les fans), de la prod (qui manque de sous, qui a la flemme de faire un épisode, ect...), de leur mangaka (qui comme je l'ai dit au dessus est un gorille). Ils n'hésitent pas lors d'une blague de dire "Ne dites pas ça, on va nous retirer le droit à l'antenne", des trucs du genre.  Je crois que c'est le manga qui brise le plus le 4ème mur.
youtube
Mis à part l'aspect comique (qui est principal), il y a de nombreux combats badass (avec du sang, des morts, ect...c'est pas des combats gentillets comme dans certains shonen), des moments émouvants, moralisateurs ou psychologiques. Il y a un léger fil conducteur qui s'épaissit au fil des arcs et qui tourne autour du passé du héros. Ci-dessus, vous pouvez voir quelques combats de Gintama, bien sûr, il y en d'autres. Par contre, j'ai remarqué qu'ils ont mis beaucoup de combats dans lesquels les héros perdent même si après, il y a une revanche. J'aurai bien voulu un autre top pour que vous puissiez voir d'autres combats, vous n'aurez qu'à les voir directement dans l'anime.
Tumblr media
Les personnages sont tous charismatiques, badass et drôles.   Les personnages principaux: Gintoki, Kagura et Shinpachi, ne sont pas comme d'autres personnages principaux des mangas nekkutsu (shonen du genre One piece, Dragon ball, Fairy Tail, Naruto, Bleach, ect...). On va comparer avec les autres mangas très connus.   Les héros dans OP, FT, Naruto, Bleach sont tous des héros avec un objectif, ils ont tous envie de devenir plus fort, ils s'entraînent donc, ect...Dans Gintama...il n'en est rien.
Gintoki est fainéant, n'a pas vraiment l'envie de se battre, il le fait seulement lorsqu'il voit des gens en dangers, lorsque ça va à l'encontre de sa morale, lorsque ça touche ses proches. Il n'a pas d'objectif, on peut dire qu'il a déjà l'objectif de terminer correctement les choses qu'on lui demande de faire, de tuer (vaincre) le méchant. De plus, Gintoki est plus âgé que les héros basiques (mis à part Goku, mais il est très immature, donc c'est comme un gosse). Gintoki agit puérilement mais peut être aussi mature. Vous l'avez compris, c'est un personnage complexe mais très bien écrit, réaliste (mis à part sa force sur-humaine) et bien développé. Après réflexion, Gintoki est tout de même un héros nekketsu mais il a vécu ses aventures nekketsu pendant son adolescence (comme les autres héros nekketsu) et au contraire de ces héros, il a perdu. On suit donc un héros nekketsu adulte qui a perdu. Il cache ses traumatismes derrière une attitute désinvolte, puérile et marrante. Sur la fiche présentation du personnage, j'en dis plus.   Les héroïnes des mangas nekkutsu sont souvent sexualisées qu'elles aient de grosses ou petites poitrines ou/et intelligentes/sages. Dans Gintama, il n'en est rien.
Kagura est forte et mignonne, mais elle n'est pas intelligente, ou n'a pas une intelligence supérieure aux autres, elle est même assez stupide. Bon elle a 14 ans, donc elle est assez naive sur certaines choses d'adultes, même si elle en parle comme si elle savait ce que c'était (par exemple, avoir un petit copain). Elle est vraiment sans gène et sadique (d'ailleurs Gintoki aussi est sadique). Elles est la seule et unique héroine à vomir...Bon après l'influence de Gintoki n'a pas arrangé les choses pour son caractère (il est son autre père (père de la Terre). Comme c'est une extra-terreste, elle a un père biologique qui voyage dans l'espace pour son boulot mais elle vit sur Terre avec Gintoki en tant que tuteur).   Shinpachi, le troisième personnage principal. En général, ce genre de personnages sont cool et taciturnes (Sasuke ou Vegeta par exemple). Mais lui, il est...juste Shinpachi, limite comme Usopp mais en plus courageux et fort. On peut dire qu'il ressemble un peu à une héros nekketsu basique: un adolescent qui a objectif et qui devient plus fort, qui s'entraîne pour le devenir et qui a un mentor. Il est celui que les personnages malmènent un peu (vu qu'il est avec 2 sadiques, c'est logique), mais aussi le tsukkomi de la bande, celui qui est le plus sérieux et rationnel. Il a tout de même un grain aussi. Il est un très grand fan d'une idole, ayant créé le premier fanclub de cette dite idole dès ses débuts qu'il dirige comme un camp militaire. Il suit les autres dans leur délire aussi de temps en temps. Il ne semble pas très fort mais c'est juste qu'il est entouré de personnages très puissants. Comme je l'ai dit ci-dessus, il devient plus fort au fur et à mesure des arcs et nous surprends à plusieurs reprises.
Il y a donc une bonne ambiance familiale entre ces trois là.   Bref, ensuite...d'après moi, il n'y a que 2% de fan-service (mais pas de fan service avec des boobs, il y a seulement un épisode à la piscine et encore, c'est assez soft, et 1 fille seulement a des gros seins les autres, c'est des seins normaux ou petits). Quand je parle de fan-service, je parle de choses qui sont faites pour les fans (par exemple des scènes sur les couples les plus aimés) ou des moments que les fans voulaient voir. Et si on parle de fan-service pervers cela se passe surtout sur les mecs, il y a quelques scènes mettant en avant la sensualité des hommes (dont 1 ending). Bien sûr, c'est aussi légèrement le cas pour les filles vu qu'une des filles bossent dans un host club et l'autre dans le quartier des courtisanes (même si elle a le rôle de protectrice, elle a quand même été élevé comme courtisane) puis une autre a des tendances sado-masochistes. Il n'y a pas de gros plans sur leur poitrines ou sur leur fesses, quoi que, très rarement. Donc en gros, cela fait en tout 2 à 3%. Donc c'est rien du tout par rapport à d'autres mangas.   Les personnages féminins récurrents savent toutes se battre, s'imposent souvent plus que les garçons et seulement 2 sont amoureuses du héros. Bref, comme dit auparavant les personnages sont tous charismatiques, badass, attachants et ont tous un grain.   Bon voilà, c'est un manga qu'on met du temps à décrire et encore je n'ai pas tout dit. Il est difficile à catégoriser, finalement. Bon, les dessins ne sont pas aussi bons que dans d'autres mangas mais cela s'améliore au fil des saisons. Les 3 derniers arcs sont très sérieux et tristes mais toujours avec un peu d'humour. Vous allez me dire "Tu dis très sérieux et humour, ça ne va pas ensemble" mais c'est aussi ce qui rends Gintama si intéressant, cette différence de ton et de genre dans un même arc, même dans une page. Tout ce que je peux dire pour conclure, c'est que ce manga est totalement différent des autres.
