Pics from my 2nd and 3rd visit to the Gintama x Prince Hotel Restaurant Collab 🥰
For my 2nd visit, I celebrated Gin-chan's bday XD Btw, they changed the 順番 of the BIG acrylic stands.. I wonder why? XD
I ordered Kagura-chan's oyakodon, Shinpachi's drink, and Gin-chan's special birthday cake 🎂🥰
Third time I went with a friend (after lining up for and purchasing the Donki goods lol) we reserved the private tatami room ☺️
I ordered the Shinsengumi platter, Sougo ginger ale, and Gin-chan parfait. 🥰
Shinsengumi platter was so tiny (it was also something that I could cook by myself tbh)
I honestly preferred the Yorozuya cha-han I ordered (while being expensive as well) during my 1st visit...
Everything in this collab is so expensive tbh. Food portions were small but prices ranged from 2000-3000JPY 😓 the Gin-chan birthday cake was 3000JPY; it was tiny and just full of icing 😨
(Out of all the Gintama cafe/food collabs I've gone to, I would say Capcom cafes collabs were the best, especially the 2nd one during the end of 2021~)
The ambiance is good tho and the BIG acrylic stands are a sight to behold -i want to steal one of the Gin-chans- Also the merch are pretty affordable XD
Oh yeah, about the Don Quijote merch, they started selling those on Oct 14 10:00. By 10:30, most of the goods got sold out already, it was insane 🤣🤣 (I lined up like around 9:50 I was already 14th in line... O.O) I really wanted the chibi acrylics 😭😭😭
Anyway, good thing all of the products are up for post event mail order, so I can still get the chibi ones!!

ok gintama fans hear me out,
I know gintama is over but I'm gonna need sorachi sensei to give us more. because there are some points that need to be deepened :
• gintoki's childhood before meeting shoyou : who are his parents? why did he end up having to kill people to survive? apparently his name was given to him by someone he met so we need to know how they met/who is he and what did he do like was he a samurai or not
• how and when did shinsuke built the kiheitai?
• after shoyou got arrested, what happened? (besides them going their separate ways) how did gintoki motivate his comrades/ how many years did they train before joining the war
• tatsuma's past. we know so little about him that's sad... why did he decided to join the war? how and why did he become a samurai
• the members of the kiheitai (matako, bansai and takechi) : we know how they met shinsuke but we don't know much about them/their backstory
• also, there's absolutely no way joui3 went their separate way right after shoyou died... so I need to know how many days/weeks did it take them to separate. bc shinsuke had to take care of his eye (who helped him btw???) and they had to bury their dead comrades... and I'm really curious if they talked or argued
• abuto!! why did he join the harusame? how long has he been a pirate??
• the oniwabanshu, I just need more ninja content bc again, we know very little about them
that was the main things that came to my mind so tell me what you guys think or what would you add!

Gintoki’s Birthday Bash 2020!
Gintoki’s birthday is coming up, and Hijikata is wondering what he should give him. He’s thinking candy, but maybe Gintoki is getting too old for sort of thing...
How old is that guy, anyway? Let’s do the math along with Hijikata...
Gintoki was 27 was when Shounen Jump launched Gintama in December of 2003... 2020 minus 2003 is 17... 27 + 17 equals 44.
Sakata Gintoki is in his mid-forties? Well, he has always been a NEET, a MADAO, and an ojisan.
Uh-oh, it looks like Hijikata just realized that this means *he* is either already 44 or is turning 44 in May of 2021. Aww, the poor guy, he’s in shock.
While Hijikata wrestles with the reality of his own age, I’ll plug Gintoki’s Birthday Bash 2020!

Kanna Hashimoto Stars in Live-action Film Adaptation of Violence Action Manga in Summer 2022
Today on February 3, her 23rd birthday, it was announced that Kanna Hashimoto (Kagura in the Gintama live-action series) is starring a live-action film adaptation of Shin Sawada (story) and Renji Asai's (arts) action manga series Violence Action. The film directed by Toichiro Rutou (Ossan's Love) is set to be released in Japan in the summer of 2022, and the shooting was already wrapped up in February 2021.
The manga has been serialized on Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits website since April 2016 and has released six tankobon volumes so far. Over 500,000 copies of the tankobon books have been printed and and online access has exceeded ten million PVs.
Its story centers on the protagonist with a short pink bob, Kei Kikuno, who is working hard at a part-time job while attending a vocational school in order to obtain her Level 2 Nissho Bookkeeping Certificate. Her part-time job is as an assassin by appointment only, and Kei is a very skilled assassin who boasts the highest appointment rate. She is unafraid to kill her target, no matter who it is. And one day, she receives the worst request in her career...
"I was genuinely happy when I received this offer because I had read the original manga before and really liked it," Hashimoto says. "This was my biggest action challenge ever, with many flashy action scenes. Action films are my favorite genre to watch and act in, so it was very rewarding for me to play the role. The shooting was really tough, and there were scenes where I couldn't even stand up afterwards because I couldn't move my body as I wanted to. But I think it was worth it, because the film is very fast-paced and full of exhilaration."
The film's official website and Twitter have posted Hashimoto's first photo as the protagonist Kei.
