one thing i don’t think people talk about enough in the THG is Peeta’s rebelliousness. like sure we focus on Katniss because she played such a huge role in the whole rebellion but Peeta’s situation is so interesting to me. like he went into the games prepared to die, he knew that he hadn’t a chance (or if he did a very small one) of beating Katniss and the Careers but still he kept loyal to who he was. he refused to bend to the animalism nature that lot of the children in the games develop. its also very telling when his talent in catching fire was a depiction of Rue in her bed of flowers thus showing that he refused to let the capitol ignore their crimes. he takes something so tragic that united the district (11 giving Katniss bread) and simultaneously calls outs the capitals brutality whilst also letting them know that they caused what they fear. unity. hes just so simple and calm in his rebellion compared to Katniss’s direct approach that i feel the smaller aspects sometimes get swept under the rug…anyway stan firegirl and breadboy <3

I want a fanfic where Katniss' nickname "girl on fire" isn't just for show. I want a fic where Katniss is made of fire, is the fire version of Elsa, that the Capitol television shows her in the 74 Hunger Games burning and then emerging unscathed from the flames, as I have seen from Daenerys Targaryen. Maybe there could be a crossover between Hunger Games and Game of Thrones, but I haven't seen it.

Katniss Everdeen based on how I pictured her in the books. I really tried to give the olive skin she was mentioned to have but Google didn't really provided enough material because all that popped wasn't really olive but instead were either a tan or brown skin. So I was left with a much paler outcome compared to what I originally intended leaving me with an olive undertone instead. I also tried to make her look malnourished but I don't think I really achieved that. The same way with her eyes which I really pictured to be more darker but it always ended up being too blue or black. Anyway I might redo this piece again with no more dark lineart depending on my schedule.

Anyway if you have anymore suggestions feel free too dm me. Especially about giving me more accurate references for olive skin and dark gray eyes. For future references.

Also to my old followers, hey guys been like 2 years now since I last posted. University has just really been taking a lot of my time and I was a bit insecure about how fast and good my artworks have been since beginning of the Pandemic. But right now I'm trying to get out of my Artblock so rest assured I'll try to post much more frequently now.

Hey hi idea:

What if a Disney Princess got thrown into the hunger games and actually survived? They’d probably do it with a lot of luck, sponsors, and probably a night in shining armor. I adore Finnick, so this is a Finnick Odair x OC.

The concept right now is this girl from district 1 (not a career because I said so) gets reaped and decides she doesn’t stand a chance, so she’s just gonna enjoy the little time she has left. She’s a dancer (per usual with my OCs) and pretty pacifistic, doesn’t like the idea of violence and favours diplomacy and communication in every situation. Got one of those smiles that draw in a lot of people, Finnick has one too. That magnetism is what got them both a lot of sponsors. I’ll also throw in some animal stuff, for the Disney princess vibe. Finnick is the only other tribute her age, and they get to know one another. Before they go into the arena he tells her that he’ll find her after the cornucopia bloodbath. She takes that to mean he’ll kill her, make it quick and painless before someone else finds her. But he means to protect her, maybe even keep her alive until the end.
