It's Jason Todd-centric and visits the most imporant scenes from his life. It's really unnerving, but it's got a happy ending, and we're here for it. I've read it a few times and I like it more and more.

The lake at night

The week was long and on Saturday I was still thinking about the challenge of the week: A poem about

that lake at night.

A short poem.

A haiku maybe.

Finally

I went to a sage up on a mountain high

hoping for inspiration.

He listened closely.

Remained silent for a long time and then said:

"An example?

Listen. Learn.

Look at this mountain.

Focus. Breathe.

Then return to your place

in the valley and... "

he stopped speaking.

Looked at me as I took a deep breath.

Irritated. Almost - irate.

"That's not a haiku.

The sillables, the topic.

Are you kidding me?"

He laughed and said.

"But this sure was one.

Great. Guess you learned your lesson?

I watched the first couple of episodes of Lockwood and Co yesterday, and it’s such a cute show! It’s got ghosts and swordfights and an adorable trio of kick-ass teens played by some amazing actors.

Lucy has the best pining looks, Lockwood has so much charm, George is such a loveable smartass, and together they make such a good team.

Also the world-building is great (based on the books?) and the mystery is intriguing, both in the small who-dunnit in the third episode and in the why is all of it even happening in the first place sense.

also also it has an intro that I don’t skip cause it’s so cool. Looking forward to see what it’s all leading to!
