A. Why are you excited about this character?

Oh man! Giz actually used to be a sona of mine. @galaxyafterdark made the species up, they're called Star Babies. Gix is a space storm, a nebulae of whirling colours. They represented a lot of complex feelings I had at the time (my dad had just died rigt after I made the sona) and helped me work through a lot of them. Sully enabled me, with his enabler hat, like an enabler, and as I worked through my feelings, Giz became a character all their own! I adore them and what they represent of me, and I'm usually just excited they exist! They're energetic and kind and inherited a lot of my neurodivergent joy.

B. What inspired you to create them?

Oh oops, sort of talked about this above lmao. I could say its because I wanted to explore shit about myself and blah dee blah, but the real answer is I saw space people and wanted to be a space people and Sully said "PLEASE BE A SPACE PEOPLE I WANT YOU TO BE A SPACE PEOPLE I LOVE SEEING NEW SPACE PEOPLE DO IT DO IT" and Giz was born!

D. Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

Giz has actually changed a lot!

This is their original design from 2018! Much more masculine in build and shape. And then the most recent art (from 2021, I need to draw them again)

More feminine, much closer to my own body shape, a shift towards warmer colours.

And there is SO MUCH ART of Giz scattered around from myself and from Sully. Sully did multiple comics featuring them and one of his characters (because they're MARRIED AND ITS GOOD AND CUTE).

I love Giz a lot!

Tudo and Boy already existed as concepts (I knew Pills had a husband and son) but now they exist in visual concept as well

Tudo's face was based on Elis Regina, a singer who sang very famous versions of Belchior (Pills's faceclaim)'s songs. But I gave him a silly mustache so he doesn't look that much like her

Boy is like 16 or 17, he's like in high school. Shitty mustache aged boy.

Boy is adopted but not legally adopted, and Pills and Tudo are not legally married either

Vic's parents legally adopted Giz because Vic pretty much adopted them as a sibling after their first meeting

I am not 100% sure what Vic's parents do, but his mom works for the government (I originally thought politician but I think she might be a judge, or both) and his dad has like an import/export company

Colina was born on Tevus but his family is not tevusi, they're from Gulnu (another continent). I think he has double citizenship. His company operates mainly in Tevus and the country his family is from

Vic and his dad have acne scars because I think it's interesting and I never see ocs with acne scars

(speaking of, I had to draw those lines twice because they looked Bad as lineart and I couldn't just separate them from the lineart. lots of work)

Next lot of the kglw major arcana, mave missed a few days cause IV been sick and haven't had much energy.

I really just started this project so that I did at least one sketch a day so I wouldn't lose my talent while I'm so busy with work. So excuse anything that that these pieces are lacking, they are just sketches.
