making sims 4 cc is a terrible hobby. I make a tail accessory for adults. it works perfectly. I make a tail for children using the same process and an edited version of the same mesh. it distorts the movement of one arm in exactly one CAS animation, but not if the sim is also wearing one specific base game bracelet, in which case it works normally.

#I think I understand BASICALLY what the problem is #I just don't know how the fuck to solve it #I've extrapolated that since I cloned a left bracelet to make the tail #but the tail is weight painted to the pelvis and not the arm #that specific animation involves one arm tracking the other somehow #and because the tail is technically a bracelet it tracks the sim's butt instead of their wrist #which is why it works when I put on a bracelet in that slot along with the tail #(because I switched the tail to the glasses slot for reasons) #but like I don't know what's actually causing it to behave like this or how to make it stop
