Full review of my like 50th watch for Rumours episode of Glee
Fondue for Two! Why didn’t we have more Fondue for Two!
God they really went back and forth with how intelligent Brittany is, she outed Santana without realizing what playing both teams means and also didn’t understand that it isn’t cheating because they are both women, really? They dumbed her down so much whenever it seems fit, like she would have been held back so long ago with how they portray her. It also makes it seem like Santana is taking advantage of her, and yet they are end game? And Artie is the bad guy for calling her dumb for cheating on him? Ugh this fucking show…they are lucky every song is basically a bop!
Also Santana is rocking the overalls. I remember reading a fanfic where Santana imagined marrying Brittany on a beach where white coveralls with he pant legs rolled up, it was a faberry and Brittana one.
And now everyone thinks Sam is sleeping with everyone which like…he does hook up with all the ladies so it’s not super far off but still.
Fun fact, since we didn’t want to pay for our wedding dj to do the cocktail hour because like no one was paying attention to music I just made a playlist and Naya’s version of Songbird was on it.
Rachel and Finn staking out Sam makes it more awkward that they are the ones who go find him next season.
Ugh how dare they only play the Chain in the background, then again maybe it’s for the best.
Sue actually encouraging Shue to go for his Broadway is so funny like her problem isn’t Shue, it’s glee as a whole.
I don’t want to know the reason is a fuxking bop! Finn and Quinn sounded amazing together, neither sang over each other, they harmonized well. It wasn’t out of the park but they should have had more duets.
Don’t care about Schue’s storyline tbh
I know I know everything about her but that voice, Rachel is killing it also I love her bedazzled microphone
I feel like the school would’ve been notified about Sam’s living situation but then again he works as a stripper as like a 16 year old next season so what is reality! But Chord does really well with the storyline.
God but the way Rachel and Finn are acting like glee club is more important than anything. I get that Sam 100% deserves to do what he loves, and he does. But they are framing it more as glee needs Sam and that had to be his priority.
I was waiting for Landslide but I forgot that’s another episode 😩😩
I love when they have stage performances without all the frills and ridiculous expenses. Also Rachel’s line “I didn’t mean any harm” 😒😒 bitch please you sent someone to a crack house this season
favorite season 1 episode: aaa it's gonna be so hard to choose for all of these! i think for s1 i gotta give it to Preggers (1x04). mainly bc of Kurt's storyline this ep and the coming out scene with Burt (best dad ever)
favorite season 2 episode: aaa i love season 2 so much, it's so hard to choose! i think it's a tie between Original Song (2x16) and Prom Queen (2x20), though Never Been Kissed (2x06) comes in a veeery close second
favorite season 3 episode: honestly? not always the biggest fan of season 3 😬 i'm gonna go with The First Time (3x05) tho for obvious klaine-related reasons <3
favorite season 4 episode: either The Break-Up (4x04) or Guilty Pleasures (4x17). i enjoy angst, if y'all haven't noticed <3
favorite season 5 episode: three-way tie between New New York (5x14), Bash (5x15), and Tested (5x16). New York half of season 5 my beloved <3 and these first three of that half are just a really good stretch of episodes
favorite season 6 episode: this one might be a little controversial BUT Hurt Locker Part 2 (6x05). LISTEN. it's batshit wild and i love it. (honestly most of season 6 is batshit wild and i love it. the writers were smoking crack this season)
episode that makes me cry: The Quarterback (5x03) :( Cory Monteith left this world much too soon :(
episode that makes me laugh: basically any of the ones that are just. wild. Vitamin D (1x06), Props (3x20), Pupper Master (5x07)
favorite tribute episode: oooh either Rumours (2x19) or Love, Love, Love (5x01)
favorite Christmas episode: A Very Glee Christmas (2x10) <3 we get BICO <3 and there's some pretty silly plots and i like it <3
episode with the best songs: so many episodes have so many good songs. but i'm gonna give it to The Break-Up (4x04) bc i think i have every song from that episode in my gcv playlist
favorite sectionals episode: i think i gotta go with the very first one, Sectionals (1x13) it just makes my little heart happy <3
favorite regionals episode: again, gonna go with og Journey to Regionals (1x22) look season 1 is solid, okay?
favorite nationals episode: i'm torn between Nationals (3x21) bc it's pretty iconic and i love the outfits and City of Angels (5x11) bc i like the tribute to Finn. and Burt and Carole are there. and Sam's "I did my best Mr. Schue" makes me emo
episode most people like but i don't: oof i think Saturday Night Glee-ver (3x16). i don't hate it, it's just not my favorite
episode most people dislike but i like: Previously Unaried Christmas (5x08) it's Batshit Wild and makes me laugh
idk who has or hasn't played this already, but if you see this and want to play, consider yourself tagged!
One thing I will say is that while Santana said and did a lot of things on Glee that deserve to be called out, her not going on Fondue for Two in 2x19 isn't one of them.
If she'd said she was going to go on Fondue for Two only to bail without telling Brittany, that would have been one thing, but she agreed to go on FF2, realised it was too much for her (and she really wasn't ready, homegirl had a full-on meltdown at prom over the possibility of people knowing about her being a lesbian), and respectfully contacted Brittany to communicate that within an appropriate amount of time. I really shouldn't have to say this, but it's not a sin to need to cancel plans if you're not feeling up to them.

Title: The Bimbo and the Beast
Summary: Brittany isn’t much of a fairytale princess but then again Santana is more of a beast than a Prince Charming. What happens when the New Directions try to bring these two unconventional lovebirds together? Set after 2x19 Rumours
A.k.a. The crack episode where New Directions have a Disney week and Santana pretends to hate it, accidentally hits her head in Cheerios practice and has no memory of who Brittany is so the Glee club convinces themselves that her true love’s kiss will snap her out of it.
A/N: This story started as a little crack-tastic idea my friends and I had about what it would be like if Glee had a Disney episode. I really wish they had one! It’s set between Rumours and Prom Queen.
