This is a fun one to think about, lol.

Killer causes trouble, but somehow never gets caught at it. He's really good at vanishing into crowds, so he tends to trip kids who are being obnoxious or shove adults into one another. The bigger the commotion, the shorter the line for whatever he wants to get on. Dust has his hood up and some sound-dampening earplugs stuffed into his acoustic meatus because he and crowds don't play well together. With something to cut the noise level, he's a little more agreeable. He helps Killer make quick escapes from scene-causing sometimes, but mostly sits back and watches the chaos. Almost better than the attractions. Axe is the one having the most fun, arguably. Everything is so bright and colorful and full of life! None of the cast members look at him oddly, either, and his condition is respected. He chooses to wear a hat while here, so he doesn't frighten someone without provocation, although he does get a little bit of malicious glee in thumping on the outside of Doom Buggies in the Haunted Mansion to get extra scares in. Cross is a little overwhelmed with crowds but generally sticks with Axe, who has the most fun here. Cross enjoys thrill rides, but most enjoy some of the more tame rides. Catch him unironically enjoying Small World. He likes Pirates of the Caribbean too. Baggs... might or might not skip the trip entirely. He might go some days and just hold down the fort others. He's not a huge people person, and the thought of so many crowds isn't very appealing... but if he gets in to see the technical side of how everything works, he's pretty fascinated. Also in the psychological aspect of how the entire park makes use of its assets and theming in different areas to immerse guests. Nightmare won't go within twenty miles of the place. The "Happiest Place on Earth" and the guardian of negativity don't play well together. It's a shame, really; he'd probably enjoy some sense of wonderment here. He's still an old curmudgeon who doesn't mix well with too much tech, and a lot of the things that go on at the park, especially visual effects and illusions, would fascinate him. ...Which means that Ren is in charge, more or less. They have to keep everyone in line. They threaten to put everyone on leash backpacks if they don't behave. But... it's also fun for them because they haven't had the chance to go. It's an expensive trip, but with the resources (and favors to hackers) put in for them by Nightmare, money isn't an obstacle. Nor are the tickets, reservations, or hotel stays.

With Ren around, they don't get kicked out. Killer might be if he ever gets caught, but... That won't happen.

Other fun activities with these idiots here include:

Killer, Axe, and Dust spinning a teacup as fast as they possibly can (which... is pretty damn fast.)

Getting stupidly competitive at rides that incorporate scores. No one ever beats Dust at them, but Baggs gets pretty close when he figures out the mechanics of the Astro Blasters and how to aim and never miss.

Lapping Indiana Jones until they get all the routes. Killer enjoys being in the driver's seat, even though the wheel doesn't move.

Feeding Jungle Cruise skippers more puns and jokes for later use.

Also lapping the Incredicoaster until someone gets sick

Making it a contest to see who has to squish back to the hotel room to change after any of the major water rides (especially Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run)

Getting stupidly competitive on Radiator Springs Racers, even though there's no way to ensure your car wins

Doing laps on Star Tours for aforementioned route reasons

Absolutely killing it on Smuggler's Run. Everyone gets really good at a designated task, although their party is so big they have to be split into two groups.

And lots and lots of other fun little things. no one will admit to it, but they also all like the dark rides in Fantasyland.

Everyone was skeptical of the trip at first, but they all wind up enjoying it so much that it becomes a sort of annual thing. They'd wind up going to the other parks, too.

Tony Awards

Man, Britney Coleman fooled me. I saw her Instagram post and thought it was a new pic, believed Darren is a presenter and posted it right away as news - turned out to be fake news. Sorry - no Darren at the Tonys.

Julianne Hough posted a video that she and Darren will host the after party for the 2nd time. So we will get pics of that - hopefully.

And yay for Alex. He won his first Tony. I read somewhere he is the second Glee cast member after Ali Stroker to win a Tony. But can that be true? There are so many of them.

I think it’s a pity Lea couldn’t get nominated. I know a lot of people hate her, but she is good. At least she and the cast of Funny Girl could perform at the Tonys.

WEEKLY ROUNDUPPP🗣️🗣️🗣️

6/10 week this week not too much to rave about. Been lash curler free all week (having serious withdrawals) Had an awful week at school done like no work for 2 weeks🤣🤣 Woke up at 5:30 to go to Leeds which was horrific but got a Pret porridge and cinnamon danish😋 Loved Leeds a lot more than I expected which is good news (but very hilly🙄) Had a bang average zizis pasta, very disappointed by it tbh idk why dmc gasses it up so much. Had the lengest cookie dough ever, be jealous. Went to Leeds art gallery (pics bellow) Had a fab, short lived, time at koko (didn’t make it to BOTA) And ended my week with a bit of driving and seeing Loyle carner✌️

from a marketing perspective, i know that oliver/aisha interacting on ryan’s instagram is partly because the show is about to start again, so they’re doing what most shows do at this time which is increased public cast interaction

That post about Trevor Donovan also just made me realise how terrible casting Ryan Gosling as Ken is, when there are B-D list actors liek Trevor Donovan who are a dime a dozen in Hollywood that would actually look the part! Ryan Gosling looks like...well, a 40 year old ex-gay ex-twink in it.

I mean, yeah, and there are people who would get all hyped when shown a pic of Trevor Donovan on neon roller skates, but that number just does not compare to Gosling's.

I'm all for d-listers and I'm fascinated by career trajectories going from teen soaps to Christian romance, or from surf movies to John Waters, or from Glee to bigfoot hunting, but this kind of appreciation for camp and desperation just does not get butts in seats.

It's not really about getting the most Kens for your buck, or even looking the part (you can pour peroxide on anybody after all), it's about ticket sales and working the promo news cycle, which these days takes much, much more time and effort than making an actual movie.

(Also it is about acting a little bit, and I'm pretty sure Gosling is a better pick here.)

Maybe casting an actor in his 40s as Ken is a bit off, but also that's what makes all these pics so funny. Like, imagine, I don't know, any given Noah Centineo, or whoever the fuck, in these promo stills, it's just not as stupid. And it has to be very stupid.

And a Hallmark dude in these would be just very confusing to most of people, in a "who the fuck is that and why should I care" way. Even tho we know that wine moms can make your movie a lot of money (I'm looking at you, Mamma Mia!), I don't think Christmas romcom stars have enough weight to their names to get even the most hardcore wine moms to theaters.

Teen drama stars and medical soap stars have their very specific place in our hearts, for sure, but that rarely translates into big screen stardom. There still is a glass ceiling between TV and movies no Trevor Donovan can break, but on the plus side, there's always knockoffs in the wake of a successful movie. So when time comes for a Sindy limited series on Paramount+, all these Trevor Donovans and Mario Lopezes and Stephen Huszars of the world will have their time in the spotlight.

Tho I'm looking it up now and I don't think Sindy had a boyfriend. Oh well, fuck all y'all then I guess, good luck with Amish romance movies guys.

Here is part 2 of the podcast reap with Josh Sussman. 

Jenna asked Josh if he has a favorite memory from the show. Josh said being able to go to the Golden Globes with the cast. He said season 1 was a very special time going from obscurity of not knowing to going to the SAG awards. He had fun during Toxic. The aftermath sucks but filming it was fun. He mentioned going to an event for GLAAD after the episode. He saw Ryan at the event and Ryan said hello controversy and you should have seen what I cut out. Josh liked doing interviews and doing scenes with Rachel.

Josh starts talking about a prank that some of the cast pulled on him. Someone left a sticky note on his trailer that said I really looking forward to our scene and had al lip stick kiss on it and it was signed from Lea. It never occurred to him that it was not from Lea. Jenna was losing it as Josh told the story. Jenna said she is trying to remember who did it. Kevin said he knew who left the kiss on the note. Josh said it was Amber. He found this out years later. He doesn't remember where he heard it. He said he was just thinking oh, he didn't know if Lea liked him or had a crush on him or was just being friendly. He then went up to Lea and said he got her note. She has no idea what they are talking about and is waiting for a punchline. The last time they worked together he told her a joke so she thinks this is another one of his corny puns. So he pulled the note out of his pocket and handed it to her. She looks at it and reads it. She doesn't say anything and walked away. He then realized it was a prank. Was the prank was on Josh or was it on Lea. Kevin and Jenna said it was a two for one. Kevin said he thinks Amber left the kiss mark but didn't write the letter. (If Amber was a part of it then Chris was probably in on it.) They said they would do some digging and find out for Josh. Jenna said it's really nice to reminisce like this. Josh said he loves that it is on Disney+ and so accessible.

Jenna asked the question they ask everyone at the end of the interviews. What feeling does Glee leave you with? Josh said it has changed and it's an evolving thing. It goes from so much happiness but there was a time when he felt a lot of sadness. He pulled up a picture on his phone that he feels like summed up his Glee experience so well. It's a pic from the Golden Globes. He's at the coolest party in the world but he is very much on the outside. He was so happy to be there. There was elements of not feeling included but as the years went by he has come to the understanding that it's not personal. The main cast was together everyday doing rehears singing and dancing. They were a part of a close knit thing. It's not so much that he's not included it's just an extra special thing for you guys. At the time it could feel actual high school with cliques. He didn't feel like he fit in. People say things still and it gets to him but overall he still gets to have amazing experiences like the convention in Liverpool last year. In season 4 episode 2 he gets beaten up with a wooden umbrella. As he is getting beaten up Brittany say leave me alone JBI. Sometimes if he posts people will comment leave me alone JBI. He thinks okay maybe they were just quoting a line but other times he feels like they hate him. They will comment on something that doesn't have to do with anything. That was his least favorite scene because he did get hurt. He was bruised and bled. People will also comment oh I love when he got beat up. He said they know it gets under his skin. He had no idea if he would be on the podcast and it feels so meaningful to be included. It makes him so happy and it raises good feelings. He is beyond grateful to be doing the podcast with Kevin and Jenna. Kevin said they appreciate him being there. He said he wishes looking back if they could have done more to make him and Max feel more included. He thinks its important for Josh to share his experience. Josh said everyone on the show as very nice. Kevin joked that he can say Jenna is mean. Jenna joked that she is a bitch. She then said all joking aside part of the podcast is that they hope it can be healing for people like it is healing for them in many ways. She echoed what Kevin adding she wished they could have been a place where they could have done more but they weren't there not make excuses for any of it. She said she thinks that even within their circle they felt like their were cliques and that they were left out of things. There were people on the covers of things or were included in things that others were not. She said it's hard to not take that personal. It's hard to not think I'm not enough, doing enough, I'm not the main one. It definitely gets to especially when you are around it all the time and when it's what you live and breathe. It's just inevitable. She said in a way they were trauma bonded. Kevin said you latch on to those people that can understand this very specific and weird experience. Josh said he remembered during the 10th anniversary pictures were posted and he was in two of them and not tagged in them. It made him feel invisible. He knows social media is so silly. He feels like one of the group but sometimes he doesn't and wonders why not. It said its so silly if you are paying attention to who follows who. Jenna said it's inevitable in our day and age. That's your feeling and your honest and real and yours. That's what makes them true. She said she hopes he feels included and that Glee couldn't have happened without all of us and you. She said she hopes they can lift him up and give you those better memories and good feelings. She said she has plenty of shitty feelings about the show but she has many more good that it outweighs those feelings. Josh said during quarantine he rewatched Glee. He was reminded that the show is really good. Josh said he prides himself on being a positive person and felt like he wasn't being very positive. He said one of the biggest sadness's for him was the 2009 episode. Everyone was back but him. He said he didn't know why he wasn't asked back. Maybe the character was too creepy.  Kevin said how do you not take that personal. Jenna said it's hurtful. Overall it was an amazing experience.  Jenna said it is fun to rewatch as a viewer versus a cast member and being able to appreciate the performances that everybody gave that they get to see or experience when they were on set. She said Josh is one of those. To watch the satire and acknowledge the satire it is and watch Josh in his element. Kevin said he really went for it and to watch an actor be put in positions like having to be naked across from Jane Lynch is not an easy think to do and regardless of what the assholes online say to you, you smashed it and did an incredible job. That's all you can control. That's all you can do. do the best at your job and he did that over and over again.

Josh wanted to get it out there that the butt sweat is not his butt sweat. It was special effects. Kevin said people need to know that none of them are their characters. They look like their characters but none of them are these actual characters. They are hired to play characters. There are props and teams to take care of things like fake butt sweat. So leave him alone. Jenna thanked him for being honest and sharing his experiences. She said she hopes she runs into him again at their favorite place. Kevin said being in Liverpool last year with Josh was a great and special experience. If any of those people are listening they were the nicest bunch of people they could have spent time with that weekend. Josh said it was the highlight of his 2022. Jenna said she was jealous and Kevin said you were having a baby. She then got sidetracked and mentioned their was a ladybug. It's good luck. They thanked Josh again.

Jenna said she hopes that you guys appreciated his honesty as much as they did. It makes her almost sad to think that he felt like he was on the outside but grateful he was able to share his peace and his experience. Kevin said when you get on a show that will be watched by people it is a double edged sword. It is great to be a part of something being enjoyed by millions of people around the world but you will also run into a small portion of people who are terrible and say crazy crazy things to you online. That is never okay. Josh is one of the sweetest and talented people. Just remember that the people you are watching on screen are real humans with real feelings and just because they are playing a character you might not like doesn't mean that it cannot feel personal when you attack them. They thanked him again and sent big love to him.

Summary: Dwight accidentally awakens an entire medieval kingdom hidden outside his suburban town.

Dwight riding bike past farmer’s market on his way to school

Begins to talk with Jules (Juliet) in hallway

He verifies that a strawberry she offers is organic before taking it

She asks him to take a picture of an endangered bellybutton owl for her newspaper article

He agrees eventually despite being busy with other things, including a bingo night fundraiser

Fast forward through school day

Crosses several items off of to-do list until he arrives at “Owl Pic for Jules”

Rides his bike to Woodside Woods

Sets bike down as he looks for owl to take picture of

As he spots it and is taking a picture, the ground gives way beneath his feet

Baldric explains that if Gretta dies her Champion does as well

Gosh, I know the drama about Lea Michele and Glee and then the drama surrounding Funny Girl revival which is such a hot mess. Beanie Feldstein shouldn't have gotten the job but nepo baby everyone!!!! Everyone raging over eventual Lea Michele casting is also woww especially because the Glee behind the scene problem was still quite fresh on public's minds.

After watching POTO then I also know Ramin is the male lead. Man, I keep gasping and wtf-ing watching the recap of the drama (as in the drama surrounding not the musical itself) on youtube videos and then reading through comments and threads on reddit. I feel slightly bad that people especially on reddit were gossiping everything about Funny Girl and they open every Ramin's cards there including the Rierra thingy which I honestly wanna know more and now I sort of know more but at what cost (sigh). I still have so many questions though but I don't know who to ask or even to talk about Rierra.
