blingee.... 2! (the site is picmix, and you can set music to play over your... creation, and it's marvelous. you have to channel the most painfully earnest part of your poet's soul to really take advantage of the flavor, i think.)

i think it's so absolutely sick and twisted that a) the french dispatch is generally regarded as one of wes anderson's least liked films when it is literally the most touching homage to writers and/or being a creative in a community of creatives and/or the neverending ennui of trying to find a purpose. and b) that because timmothy chalamet was in it now 50% of the wes anderson tag is unrelated timmothy chalamet stuff. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE TWINK LEAVE HIM OUT OF THIS!!!!

I don’t think there’s anything more embarrassing then liking something as a child, growing up with all these nostalgic memories and experiences and the ways it’s shaped your creative flow in the years since you saw it. So then you go back and rewatch it, and it’s just a fun and exciting as the first time. and you’re so invigorated and decide now that you’re old enough to know what online fandom is you’re going to engage with the fandom to share your love and appreciation with everyone else
Only to discover to your horror, that the thing you have nostalgia for is the wildly unpopular English translation that changes the characters names and plot points and cuts out important context and so everyone in the fanbase hates it with a passion and makes fun of it constantly
You know those scenes in movies where the Main character wants to impress the popular crowd and the popular kids are talking about how they think something is super lame and sucks, but that’s something the main character really likes, so they sit there and awkwardly laugh like “oh yeah totally haha, it’s garbage why would anyone like that” that’s me about Glitter Force
