Gonna toss out my Legends ZA starter prediction

1. Snivy is already a French pokemon, or at least represents France where Emboar represented China and Samurott was Japan- these three symbolizing America and particularly NYC as a melting pot. In fact, Serperior is already in Kalos in various paintings and even on a gate to one of the castles.

2. Scorbunny might seem out of the blue (my other choice was Charizard, but I feel that that might be too obvious or overused), but 1. There's plenty of French stories and myths about rabbits, including some for the French Revolution or even some that predate France as a whole, 2. They could easily rework its Gmax form as a variant based on the French Lop Rabbit, and 3. Similarly to Rowlet, Scorbunny comes from a generation prior.

This one however I'm up for changing. I could also see Litten or Blaziken being reworked.

C. Piplup feels pretty obvious, but Empoleon is based on an emperor penguin and the English namesake comes from Emperor Napoleon Bonapart- BUT that's not the only Napoleon leader France had. Paris was "renovated" by Haussman under the comission of Emperor Napoleon III, aka France's first President and last Monarch (the history is pretty ugly, but Pokémon made a game based around the Colonization of Hokaido, soooo-). The question is raised as to how it got to France considering how nobody had a pokedex for Hisui yet around the Meiji era (similar assumed time frame to the renovation of Paris mid 19th century), but it wouldn't be too outlandish considering Alolan Ninetales and Rowlet made it to Hisui.

If I had to guess: Grass/Dragon or dark, Fire/Fairy, and Water/Ice or ghost. In any regard, id say these or the true starters would share sort of a regal or royal theming.

Another question to be had is this: since Megas are coming back, would they get variants? Would they get new megas instead? Or maybe BOTH?

This'll be an interesting topic to follow imo

i hate you starter favouritism i hate you charizard getting two megas while venusaur and blastoise only got one and chesnaught and delphox didn't even get that i hate you charizard getting a gmax form before the galar starters even got theirs those along with venusaur's and blastoise's were only introduced in the dlc i hate you greninja getting an exclusive form that chesnaught and delphox didnt

curious- by "all evolutions" do you mean that someone has used (for example) charmander, charmeleon, and charizard, or does that include having also used the gigantamax/dynamax/etc forms? I tend not to play with the megas and such but have run the main line and am conflicted on how to vote

I did intend for all to include the megas and gigantamax, but was fine to leave it to interpretation!

Since mega evos and Gigantamax forms were both limited gimmicks, I think it’s perfectly fine to say you’ve used all without having used the megas or gmax ^^

Pokepinions needed: I maintain a living dex + forms in pokemon home. I have one pokemon for every species and form, only making an exception for the plate/drive forms of Arceus/Silvally so far (yes I have 4 Charizard and 5 Genesect in there). I even collected one of each Alcremie, though only one extra for the GMax form, not one for each color combo.

My question is this: What to do about Ogerpon? Do I need 4 (one for each mask)? 5 (one for each mask plus one for the theoretical but uncatchable maskless form)? 8 (one for each mask and each mask's terrastal form)? 9 (masks plus terrastal plus unmasked)? I'm flummoxed.

It's over. (I did like her last stand of trying to fling the GMAX Wildfire back at Charizard's face tho, but poor Diantha really got shafted here. Like, we all knew she wasn't winning, but did they have to do her dirtier than Alain?)

It just feels lazy when we spent a good chunk of the episode finding some lost little girl, and then come back to Diantha having already lost 2/3 of her team.

This was actually kinda hard to do, lol. Sometimes because I had to pick between pokemon I really like or sometimes because I had no option I liked. You can tell when I started moving

I tried to avoid duplicates and megas/gmax unless 1) I really liked a Pokemon and 2) there weren't any good other options.

Gen 7 was the hardest to pick a favorite /, because three of my all time favorite pokemon are in Gen 7, and Primarina and Mimikyu are incredibly close. Mimikyu gets a very slight edge.

My team is just my 6 favorite pokemon, not a like competitive team. Tinkaton, Crobat, and Togekiss are hanging out just outside that top 6, though.

Also I noticed I forgot to fill in a Gen 1 grass-type, pretend I put Bulbasaur so no one on the webbed site comes after me. Fav grass type ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ either pumpkaboo or meowscarada, I think. Fav Gen 1 is either Eevee or Charizard, kinda depends.

char is 9ft, whereas an average charizard is around 5′5, 5′6 if we round up, making leon’s char approximately 1.6 times bigger than average

if we apply this same size difference to charizard’s gigantamax form: a standard one, when gmaxed, stands at 91'10. leon’s one, however, would be 1.6 times bigger, meaning that char is standing at around 146ft tall.

I think taking the second route is more fitting. Diantha doesn’t seem like she could be calmed down at the moment, especially since her brother just told her how much of a monster she is. She doesn’t feel any love towards him at the moment only anger and hate

Having them try to kill Diantha still makes sense cause she’s trying to kill Leon, has already killed rose, and is endangering the people trapped in the stadium. To them it’s may be hard because they all care about and love Diantha but it’s still their job to protect the people of their regions. So if Diantha is a danger then they have to take her out

I imagine that Diantha finally realizes it’s time to escape the battle when Leon and Charizard get enough energy back to Gigantamax and Leon commands Charizard to use G-Max Wildfire straight at her. Or even worse, Augustine is actually set out to injure her to stop her, maybe not kill her because he still loves his sister, and that’s when she knows he isn’t playing around when he commands Xerneas to use moonblast, not at Yveltal but at her

Also does she only teleport herself away? Or does she take Lance, Geeta, Iris and Hau with her?

God fucking imagine how hurt she'd be knowing Augustine is helping Leon. Like imagine her being so bitter abt it thinking that Leon probably manipulated Augustine too to help him bc why would her brother every really go against her? It's all Leon's fault! If he just told the truth, if he just accepted the fact that the Galar League is corrupt, then Augustine wouldn't have to go against her, w them making him believe she's in the wrong.

But no worries, she guesses, Augustine will always come back to her. Like that time he said he'd leave the apartment after not getting smth he wanted, he was back before sundown, crying to her, apologizing, he'd do that again, she just knows it. She knows her brother. Knows him more than anyone does. But right now, he should calm down first, and he knows where to find her, or rather he also believes he knows where'd she'd be if he's right and she'd try to escape

Before she teleported away, she asked Gardevoir to make a barrier around Lance, Geeta, Iris, and Hau, one last time just so they won't get hurt by both GMax Wildfire and Moonblast, her thank you for them for being such devoted and loyal followers. And as soon as GMax Wildfire was gone, so was Diantha

Even the ones within the barrier, as soon as it dissipated, were shocked that Diantha was gone too, not a single trace of her left

Would they try to track her down? I wanna say they did try, for a month, but after not finding out anything abt her, they thought that maybe she is dead, that maybe Yveltal took her life through the chaos that was happening. But nah, she's just hiding somewhere, hiding within the empty and abandoned Carnet manor, smth not even Augustine would be willing to visit. So hey, since she's been quiet, the other champions thought she truly is gone, but were just preparing themselves in case she does show up again

But this time y'know, I actually want her to one by one visit the champions and manipulate them again, slowly but surely breaking their minds and their trust towards Leon, and it will work this time, she'll make sure of it.
