Gmoney’s Luxury Fashion Brand 9dcc Unveils Concept Of Their Lookbook Mint For Release Of ITERATION-01

gmoney’s crypto-native luxury lifestyle brand and platform, 9dcc opened its first-ever mint today August 23, 2022 at 9am EDT creating a moment that will have a powerful influence on how the fashion world “networks itself” into Web3 technology, community and culture. Using Web3 to revolutionize the retail vertical, the very traditional fashion lookbook will be reinvented by 9dcc as a collection of looks NFTs, granting holders access to the mint of the house’s debut collection. ITERATION-01, 9dcc’s first release - a state-of-the-art, chip-embedded T-shirt carefully crafted by gmoney and his team, some of the world’s most forward-thinking designers and digital architects. Securing one of the 1,111 looks NFTs created from the imagery of the lookbook below will allow exclusive access to Admit One members - the community-based platform to network themselves into the gmoney and 9dcc network by “tapping in'' and connecting.

Photographed by Justin Aversano and styled by Office Magazine’s Fashion Director Simon Rasmussen, the 9dcc ITERATION-01 looks NFTs will function as a virtual ticket to enter the mint of the t-shirt. The online shopping experience, which will feel similar to ecommerce rather than minting will allow users to peruse, shop, and ultimately purchase 9dcc products. The looks NFTs, feature the shirts modeled by six members of the Admit One community including the coveted artist known as ThankYouX; fashion model & artist of ‘ChAOS & COUTURE’ Dana Taylor; Web3 Gamer, CEO of Loot Bolt, Brycent; the photographer and filmmaker behind the first NFT funded feature film ‘Keepers of the Inn’ Julie Pacino; co-founder of Web 3 game studio Ex Populus Soby; and artist, SISU steward focused on ecological conservation and resilience Angela Del Sol. 

The initial mint is token-gated for gmoney’s Admit One NFT holders, with access to one mint per token holder in the first 48 hours then members can mint up to 10 more per transaction in the following 24-hour window. During minting, members will be able to check out using a crypto wallet, which they can connect and pay with ETH to receive their ITERATION-01 looks NFT. 

Each size (extra small through double extra large) will be represented by an image from the lookbook, this image is an NFT and serves two purposes: One physical and one digital. Customers need to determine what "size" attribute (1 of 6) they want to purchase. This will be the size of their physical garment that they will be able to claim. The brand is excited and views the gamification of the looks NFT mint as a social experiment. The Admit One community will have the option to purchase their best fitting sizes, the size they believe will be in most demand on secondaries, or the NFT that features photography that most resonates with them.

This first NFT is a step towards the possession of a “Network Product™” – a trademarked term coined by gmoney to define this exclusive opportunity to connect to like-minded web3 loyalists through a luxury clothing item – was created in partnership with IYK (@__iyk), using chip technology that allows NFT holders to physically connect with 9dcc, gmoney, and the rest of the community, while also accessing 9dcc exclusives and utility ahead of the curve. 

Purchasers will choose between two options for their ITERATION-01 redemption, either receiving the physical product via delivery, or choosing to leave the physical T-shirt vaulted through our partners at 4K (@4KProtocol). All 1,111 products will be vaulted and claimable approximately 45 days after the looks NFT mint, when a second NFT representative of the vaulted physical product will be created and airdropped to owners’ wallets if they hold a looks NFT. By tapping into the 4K ecosystem, IT-01 can be vaulted, traded, or redeemed adding another layer of gamification. This revolutionary retail method will heighten demand through scarcity and exclusivity, elevating luxury fashion to a new level of value that translates from the digital to the physical and vice versa. 

In continuation of the reinvention of the traditional lookbook throughout this process, the ITERATION-01 looks NFTs will continue to live on as coveted pieces, lens by Justin Aversano - who’s project ‘Twin Flame’ remains one of the Web3 world’s most coveted photograph collections. The looks NFTs are expected to retain and build their own value as genesis collectible assets in the 9dcc brand’s heritage  long after it’s used in the size minting process. 

The concept for 9dcc and IT-01 came from gmoney’s observations on his intimate crypto community, and the many Admit One members desire to signal they are crypto native IRL and connect in person just as much as they want to connect digitally.
