I love the idea of Soap having/wearing anything "borrowed" from Ghost.

I mean their matching ghost masks in their operators' skins. Or even during the Ghost Team mission, when he was wearing skully Balaclava and facepaint? around his eyes. That's already doing things for me.

But the idea of Soap carrying Ghost's knives around, that he found during Mission Alone and never gave back (Ghost also never asked about them). He rarely uses them because he's scared of losing them.

Or Soap wearing Ghost's skully gloves on his hands, keeping him warm and providing a slight protection from more injuries.

Soap finding Ghost's stack of masks, and spontaneously deciding to take  one. Holding it in his vest pocket as a lucky charm, sleeping with it when Ghost is aways on some one-man mission.

They never talk about it, but Ghost knows. About every single thing. Some possesive part of him loves the idea of Soap just carrying things that basically mark him as "Ghost's". And sometimes when Soap loses one of his knives during a mission, or Ghost's masks, he always finds a new one on his bedside table.
